Hey gals. Sorry I haven't been around much lately. Life has been really busy. Tried low carb for like two days, just experimenting, and totally sucked at it. No surprise there. I can't live without my oatmeal and yogurt. I have been going to the gym at least three times a week though. Still don't know how much I weigh. So afraid to go near a scale. I've been thinking, really thinking, and I've decided enough is enough. I was wondering why WW worked for me in the beginning and it's because I was totally strict about it. I wrote down EVERYTHING! So i have to start back with that. No slack. I'm going back to the very beginning and I'm never looking back.

i've managed to make my kickboxing goal and am doing BETTER about water (i fell short yesterday-- seems like i can make it 6 out of 7 days... who knows.) anyway- i went to the gyno on tuesday and i weighed in at 179 ( )! now my obstacle will be KEEPING IT UP and not letting myself slack. i ALWAYS struggle with that. i think having a 'challenge' like this is helping though, thanks!

This gym stuff really works guys! Finally had the guts to get on the scale today and weighed in at 244.8! Yay!

I had last week off and I decided to go ahead and quit the Pig because I start my new job at the VA next Monday. So this is my last week of freedom. In a way, I'm kinda relieved that I don't work at Piggly Wiggly anymore. That deli was just SUCH a temptation for me! I firmly believe that I lost those four lbs last week because I wasn't around the deli that whole week. Out of sight, out of mind right? I'm gonna miss my co workers and the deli workers who always gave me free food but I'm not gonna miss the temptation. Maybe I'll make stopping and getting something from the deli once a week my treat. I LOVE their corn nuggets!

I'm making a thread for the Fourth of July. Anyone can join who wants to. I know there are at least two other July 4th threads so, to make sure no one gets confused, I'm gonna make up a name for ours. I'll post the name when I come up with one. Any suggestions?
