lol - you are so funny Ellen I did go down 1/2 a pound but it doesn't measure 1/2 on the ticker, so pooh.

The JL visit discussion is on the Get together thread. It was/is in June/Sept in Portland/ or ? lol Anyway, I think we are a tad confused, nothing that pizza won't help solve. So hungry for pizza tonight.
Anyway, Katy put a link on for the village. I went looking for the HeadStart but couldn't find a photo. I did find a photo of the Starbucks I go too (!!- I ws so thrilled) and the park that I live nextdoor to........

HELLO THERE SUSIE ...
I was wondering where you and everyone were, I suppose unlike me, some of you probably have a life Nice place you live in If there is a Starbucks ,thats my kind of town
We have a Get Together Thread ? how do I get to the Get Together Thread ,so I can Get Together OREGON IS REALLY FAR AWAY FROM ME I sure would love to meet you all someday, that would be so much fun. I would love to see the people I spend a good part of my day with here. Pizza sounds pretty darn good right now. The minute you decide to diet, you crave everything. I will try and get it all in till Monday. I just thought of something!!! my daughter is in N. Carolina this weekend and she is supposed to bring me back a peice of cheesecake from the Cheesecake factory on Monday when she comes home. Maybe I will let her keep it, do you know how hard that will be to pass up my favorite thing in the world. Lifes not fair I made up my mind tonight I wasn't going to spend one more day eating bad food, and feeling so uncomfortable in my own skin. I have had enough. I have so much to do , and I have no energy to do anything I am so tired all the time , I just feel so dumpy and sick If I can emty what has become the storage bedroom since I have been painting I can get to my exersize equipment . Well you probably went to bed already, and once again I am writing just to hear myself talk Hope you have pizza and a Great Night .

PS: how come the post is spaced like that, its not like that before I send ,DID I DO THAT. I tried to fix it but I don"t know how

Good Morning to ALL!! Not sure what we will get into today.
Yesterday I went with DS again, he got his federal tax check back & had to send a small portion to the state. He put a major portion into savings and then we hit the Flea Markets. He's looking for records for the record player I bought him for Christmas. He found....Yes, The Grass Roots, 2 different Cars, Cheap Trick Live in Budokon(?) and a old Rollong Stones all for $2 -$4 dollars each. He also bought some used games for both himself and his girlfriend and he got a blow gun set, complete with blow darts and a dart board. I left the apartment with him and two of his friends playing with the blow gun. His girlfriend came home and she played too (He told his friends only she can use the ones with the hot pink tips) DD is doing better and DH is coming down with a cold.
Ellen--mmmm...cheesecake......good luck on the eating changes--I need to get back into the water drinking myself.

Susan- I liked that link you found - there were a few homes that are literally on my street! They are right about all the short street and deads ends, aren't they?

Good morning ladies,

Ellen, good for you, you have committed yourself, to the diet. you have lots of witnesses so now you must carry on. I thought that all of us here were on diets....of one kind or another. So we all suffer alike. We are with you all the way.

Yesterday was an interesting day. After shopping with a 19 yr. old girl all day, I think I am glad I didn't have a daughter. Although my daughter had I had one, would not be like that. For example: this girl had a boob reduction done at age 16 cause she thought she was to big up there. She was a heavy girl. She never tried to lose weight, just found a doctor to do the surgery and went for it. Now 3 yrs. later, she has grown taller and lost some weight in the process, but is still plump. She now thinks she is to small on top and therefore says she will not lose anymore weight because she'll lose her boobs. And also says when she can save up enough money she will get a breast enlargement....I would strangle her if she were mine... course I would nver have let her get the first boob job.

Aside from biting my tongue many times we did accomplish a lot in shopping for the wedding. Do any of you have a Sam's club where you live? It's a large warehouse type of store where you buy in quantity at reduced prices. You have to be a member to buy there. Well, both the bride's mom and I had guest member cards for yesterday. So we went there. Have you ever heard of a store not taking mastercard/visa credit cards. They only take American express and Discover or their own card. None of which I have because not that many places around here take those two. I don't even take them at my shop, cause they cost more to take. Any way good thing I had my debit card which is still a mastercard... plus they charged us each extra to shop there. MInd you it was only a few dollars but still, they sent us the guest cards.

The sun is shining this morning, I have lots of paper work to do here. Just waiting for the timer to go off so I can eat. I am hungry. I take Actonel because I am borderline for osteoporusis, supposedly thanks to menopause. You can't eat or drink for 30 minutes after taking it, and you have to sit or stand up that long to be sure the pill don't mess up your esphogus.

This afternoon we are going to go over the guest list for the wedding and bridal shower. All the bridesmaids but the sister are out of town, so we have to help with the shower.. Miss maid of honor boob job girl is to ditzy to plan a party by herself. Can you tell I don't like this girl. Oh there are things I could tell you about this situation that would make you all shocked..hahahaha but not now...I'll save it for later. Keep you all in suspense..

Well, my timer went off so I'm off to the kitchen. I'll be on here off and on today, as I will be in the office most of the day.. talk about working on your day off...

Have a good one.

Just a pop in for me too. Just finished going over the wedding list and shower list... some how it got up to almost 200 people and we have seating for only 150... so we need to do some deleting... that is the hard part. If only we could read their minds and know if they would attend or not.. we will have RSVP cards but it's hard to know how many invites to send out to come up with the right amount who will attend.. it's getting more stressful all the time.. here we are with all the flowers around and she the bride doesn't want the usual flowers etc.. she has to be different... a nonconformist.. that is all fine and dandy, but if she wants to pay for it all then she can go for the odd stuff...that is the problem, she is really cheap... and she wants all this stuff cheap, yet what she wants is going to cost more than if we could use what we have available.and she isn't paying for anything hardly. I will be lucky to be sane when this is over..

Ok, well I am off again. Need to get some things done around here. Later

Hi ladies!

Our weather is finally getting nice around here. It's been sunny all day which is very unusual!

DH is having surgery Thurs. - checking the lining of the bladder - ouch! I went to the back specialist & he said I need surgery. So tomorrow the scheduler is supposed to call me & set it up. It will take about 3 hrs. They have to remove some bone to decompress the nerves, insert 2 metal rods & fuse it all together. I'll be off work a couple of months. Not looking forward to it but if it relieves the pain I guess it will be worth it. Still kinda bummed out about it. Have a lot of arrangements to make - especially for DH & his care.

Just wanted to say hi & fill you in on what is going on!

Ugh, I feel so fat,fat,fat!

I don't think I could burst out of my clothes anymore. Though that nice man at the slurpee counter at Plaid said I could at least try- hehe

Welcome Michelle! Don't worry we aren't too odd here. I did notice you are from Oregon too!!! I also noticed the city you live in and you are close to Katy and myself. I go to Gladstone for Gaby's babysitting and I grew up out in Beavercreek, I love it out your way. Welcome!

I made blueberry pancakes and I had a venti for breakfast - plus a blueberry muffin,,,,,,,hmmm, made some hamburger stew and now I am really hungry for a mango slurpee - lol - omg, am I sure I am not prego??

I am going to relax and do laundry and get ready for work tomorrow.

Just wanted to say hello

Hi Michelle,: welcome to Jaded ladies.. always glad to see new people. Jump in and let us get to know you.

Just finished another 7.1 miles on my bike. This week ds#3 can't come for dinner and Smallville so I'll be able to get in an extra 7 miles. It is getting to be a habit.. hope I can keep it up.

Not much else going on. Had to do some more work in the office. That is the problem with owning your own business and having the office in your house, you can work 24/7 and sometimes it seems like I do. It is also a good thing, I don't have to get dressed up and I can work in the dark of night if I want to.

Ellen you often make me laugh.. thank you.. a drive by posting.. I can just see you driving by and typing on the run...

OK. I guess I'll go pack dh's lunch for tomorrow. No matter what I feed that guy he always loses weight this time of year, it's just not fair.

Catch you all later, again Welcome Michelle, Good night

Ginny
