Awesome! Hubby's got the motorcycle on the road again (I'm so jealous!) to go to work on every day. It saves So Much Gas $$!!!

Last night I was cleaning out our closets. There are a few things I've been hanging onto for no apparent reason. They have no sentimental attachment, Are not in good style, and haven't cost me much -if any- to buy, so there's no "I don't want to waste it" feelings... but anyway, I threw them out and ran across some of my favorite stuff from when I was 140 lbs.

I thought to myself that my pants Have been fitting me well and I'm really losing some inches, so why not? And THEY FIT! Well, they were tight, but not so much that I couldn't wear them out if it came to it. YES!!

So, I folded them back up and put them into the closet to wait for a few more inches to come off. YAYYY!!!

Morning gals! Just a quick peek in while everyone is still snoozing. We will soon have to get up and going and get breakfast and such out of the way, but we didn't go to bed until midnight old time so I only have had about 3 hours sleep. I think I am going to get a blanket and sack out in the recliner for an hour or so until my sister wakes up.

Her trip went smooth and she showed up here before dark so that was good. My dd called yesterday afternoon and wanted to go out to dinner with us and even her husband joined us for BBQ. We had a great time then they came to our house and sat out on the deck and talked while T and I played games indoors.

I gave Thomas $20 at the restaurant for his good report card and his Great Aunt Birty gave him another $20. A little while later he came up and hugged me and said thank you again for his money and I told him that Nonny would give him whatever he wanted. So he tells me he now has $45 and he has a game he wants to get that is $49.95. So, I antied up another $10 to him but his mom told him he couldn't buy this particular game because it wasn't worth that much money. So, I told him to go to the game store and get two used ones instead that he would like to have. He was such a good boy at dinner and then at our house. I forget he can read now and he shocked me when he was reading me the rules. We played 5 games of dominoes (he dropped one on the floor and it jiggled his little desk we were playing at which caused my dominoes to fall side up so he could see them. He got such a kick out of the fact he knew what not to play then of course kept accidently hitting the table! ) We played Thomas's rules checkers (black on black squares white on white and he could move sideways!) He told me he was the checker king and his aunt, my son's in law sister was checker queen. He wanted to play tiddly winks, but couldn't get the hang of it so we played drop the tiddly in the point dish instead and you got whatever pts the tiddly landed in. First one to 500 won and of course, he beat the pants off me!

Well, everyone have a grea weekend. We are headed down to the casinos in just a few hours for the show.

YEAH FOR YOU LEEANN!

hello folks!

I've been doing fine - except for a naughty pig out day yesterday because I had a hangover! I've managed 4 sessions at the gym this week - and am aiming for 5 next week! I didn't weigh in this weekend as planned - am planning on doing it tomorrow and have no idea what to expect! I've been doing ok, but after my piggy day yesterday I worry that I've undone all my hard work - which is silly really! I'll let you know anyway - I'm hoping I've at least had a small loss, I'd be happy with a pound or two!

I've been feeling a bit bad about myself recently - I've been spending alot of time with my friend Bev, but she is a size 6-8 (US 2-4) and next to her I feel so huge! She is lovely and always really complimentary about how I look, but it is just my head that is messed up and I just feel like such a lump! Because she is so tiny, she picks up clothes really cheap and has a tonne of them - whereas I have one outfit for going out in and can't afford anything else, or can't find anything nice in my size. I know I need to get over this and just concentrate on how well I am doing and how far I've come. I know from experience that comparing yourself to others is not healthy! I love her friendship, but do find I am a touch envious of how easy it is for her to look good! Oh well, I'll get over it and need to focus on amking the best of what I've got! One thing Bev has taught me is about accesorisies - she has boxes and boxes of jewellery, hair clips, scarves, belts etc - these things are inexpensive and I am certainly going to start looking out for cheap little bits to add variety to my outfit - and of course, I don't have to worry about them not being my size!

Anyway, thanks for listening,

Love Amanda x

I know how you feel! My SIL is 40 going on 22!! She bikes and walks everywhere so she is in fantastic shape! And because her whole family is so tiny, she's a size 0 and sometimes has to shop in the children's sections!!

I remember going shopping with my (then a cheerleader) sister. We were trying on clothes (I was a 14-16 at the time.. hoping to fit into 12's..) and I heard her wail out "Oh my God! If I have to wear a 10 I'll just DIE!!!!"

Woe is me.. if only I had probs like that!!

Yeah. I know EXACTLY how you feel... LOL! But don't let it get you down.. just plot revenge... let's pin her down and force feed her lard and cornstarch!!! Mua ha ha haaaa!

Keep da faith, sista!!!!!

Hi everybody!
Just popping in to say "sorry I haven't been popping in" I've been wicked busy with writing work and actually should be writing now as I have a deadline today and tomorrow.

I'm on-again, off-again with the food. Exercise is fine, though I've dropped 2 dance classes. I now teach just once a week, that's helping alot with the stress I was feeling--and guilt for not giving my classes the time and attention they deserved.

Hope everyone is doing well! We're supposed to get 3" of snow today, but I'm not buying it! It's like 42 degrees outside. Oh well, if it does come, it will melt quickly.

WEDNESDAY: Today is Wednesday's Woes so you can gripe today ladies!

Not much time as I am trying to ship my sister off! What a nightmare that was. I dreaded her coming and everything I dreaded was true. What a lousy weekend. At least she is going home!!!!

I will get going again by tomorrow, but I need to get things back to normal today, gals.

Have a wonderful day.

THURSDAY: Today is Time for Us Thursday so make an effort to do something special for yourself today!

Susan: Well, I knew we would probably have issues with the sister from the get go. She is a horrible gossip, the most interferring person I have ever seen (she came to my grandson's soccer practice, called the coach over and told the coach how to coach) and never happy about anything. I am just glad she has gone home!

I hope everyone has been having a good day and I will check in later. I need to get going this morning. I am a little sluggish!

MONDAY: Today is Mission Monday and our mission this week is to vary our exercise routine. If you are getting bored and find you are slacking off, try something new. The weather is getting warm enough everywhere to get out and walk, roller blade or skate, ride bikes, etc so enjoy the lovely spring weather and get a workout too!

Julie: Sounds like fun. I have not been on a bike in almost 35 years since I got married in fact. I used to love to ride my bike. I had a nice 10 speed that I used to go and ride all out in the country around where I lived. Maybe one day I will be a size I can again ride a bike for pleasure.

Hope you all are having a nice day.

Love that picture, Faye!!!

Hi girls. Sorry I haven't been on in so long. I took my girls up to Canada to see Nana and Grampy. It was pretty bad. They didn't care that the kids were tired and were dragging us all over the place. I spent most of the week just trying to stop their "tired crying". We were all so happy to get home!!!

Anyhow, other than that, I accidentally broke Lent.. had some food that I didn't know had bread in it. So looking for the next lightning bolt to hit my motorcycle or something. LOL!

Ah well, the struggle continues.

Hi all,

Sorry I'm not around much at the moment - been a bit low and have not felt very sociable I'm afraid.

I'm still building up to full fitness at the gym - it's a long and slow process. I am now on my 4th week back and am still not where I was! Eating has been terrible - PMS!!

Sorry your sisters visit wasn't good Faye - at least she doesn't live next door I guess!

Love Amanda x
