GOOD AFTERNOON LADIES ......How is everyone today, its gloomy here and cold , old man winter just won't let it go.I have a sore throat today for some strange reason, I hope I'm not coming down with anything, I sure don't need that.I have some housework to do ,the usual stuff , but tomorrow its back to painting. I actually have to force myself to finish this, cause the will isn't willing I have bad arthritis in my fingers , a few are worse than the others and they can be very painful .Its hard when everthing you do is with them , so I have to take breaks but the breaks , brakes the mood yeah can't win. Enough about me,how are you ladies?

HI JULES....I have a small tortie pointe named Paris , she is beautiful and sweet but she to picks and chooses when and who she will associate with , they are so cute always looking grumpy ,when we look at her we can't help but smile. How many kitties you you have ? How long did you do the sanding job, I dread sanding its one of my least favorite things to do, I dislike having to do the prep work before painting , the painting I don't mind, its the before and after I dislike.I never had a job that wasn't hard ,it was either physically or emotionally stressful, I get stressed out making cakes, always worrying about something going wrong, I guess that's why its called work i hope your having a wonderful day
HI CRISTI.... The house sounds lovely, I bet you are so excited, change is good, your property sounds lovely to. I have a large yard its 300 ft long but because I am in a semi-detatched its narrow only 35 ft. I have considered moving many times over the past year, I would really like to be closer to my daughter, but then I would be leaving my son behind , she's not really that far only about 30 minutes or so, but since I don't have a car I can't get to her house unless she picks me up. She is always happy to bring me over, I just don't like her having to drive me home at night, and then drive all the way home. I don't know, maybe its just being alone syndrome, worrying about something happening and me being alone. Since I fell down the stairs a few years ago, and hurt myself pretty bad, its always on my mind. My poor son forgot his key so he rang the doorbell and I came trotting down the stair and tripped on my sock and went down the stairs , to his horror watching through the all glass front door. The door was locked and I was badly hurt, and he was frantically banging on the door, to get my daughters attention who was doing laundry in the basement. Poor boy he was so frightened he was crying ,I was crying, sheesh ,so to make a long story longer my daughter came running up the stairs hearing the banging on the door and let my son in to rescue me.Of course I refused to go to the hospital, and I spent two weeks in agonizing pain crawling in and out of bed. How the heck did I get from your house to me falling down the stairs oh yeah moving, thats what it was. I hope you get your house sold , its awful being in limbo like that, wanting to move on with your life, and not being able to. I think you will be very happy when you get things settled. I can't wait till we start decorating and the pictures start coming, Your new house , Janes new house , Sue is building to , is that right ,so much fun decorating , even if its just a room it just adds a sparkle to our lives doesn't it. Its been so long since I sat in a finished room and just enjoyed it, I am so looking forward to doing that. I just want a nice cup of tea and a good Debbie Macomber book ,my kitties beside me and I will be in my glory I can hardly wait to see your new house , good luck, I will send good selling vibes your way Have a great day.

HI JANE....
I don't see you yet , must be busy packing, new houses are so exciting, now I am getting a little jealous, but so happy for you all. I think this is it for me, unless I win the lottery or my son becomes a rock star My future son in law always tells me as soon as he starts making really good money he wants to buy a huge farm and build me my own little house beside theirs. Actually I told my son just yesterday that when he becomes a rock star , maybe he might get me some better windows, although this house is only 5 years old it seems to be cold sometimes , he suggested that possibly he could , but he'd rather buy me a better house. I love everything about this house, although I may prefer a one floor opposed to the two storey and a single family would eliminate hearing your neighbours, not that they are a problem just if they moved who knows what the next owner will be like .Besides I would like to eliminate causing myself further harm if possible I really don't need the three bedrooms or two bathrooms, one of each will do nicely unless I have grandbabies then two bedrooms would be nice. Oh I will just be satified with what I have, I have more than a lot of people and have no right to complain, even though I do sometimes. Time will take care of itself , and I best take of the time I have . I hope all is well in your lovely family, and grandbabies.

HI SUSAN... I like Mr. Jingles,Salem is cute to. When we got Grover I didn't want to call him that ,but my son insisted it was a great name, so I gave in. I would have preferred something else , and I think Grover would have to , but neither of us had a choice You have to stop talking about all that yummy food your eating your driving me crazy with cravings cake and cookies ,sheesh girly. Your already wearing capri's how warm is it there, its freezing here and we had snow last night, which is gone today, but its so cold and gloomy out. I used to always feel guilty about spending money on myself , when the kids were younger we would go shopping and I would put things in the shopping cart that I needed and before I got to the checkout I would put them all back. Now I am not as guilty, although sometimes I still get the same old twinge.I hope your having a great day and hold on to your happy thoughts.

HI GINNY.... Good for you riding six miles , good job , sounds like you girls are all so motivated to working out, I know I keep saying I need to start up again, but I really need to start up again I found the dress I want to wear to my daughters reception , which will be held on New Years Eve, and I need to get busy if I am going to make it work. She will be married on Christmas Eve and their will be a small family reception afterwords and I will be wearing probably a dressy two peice suit then HELLO New Years meets Mother of the Bride, so I have much work to do.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...rose1/7466.jpg What do you think to much , I don't even know if I can get it yet ,I just picked it off a website. I guess we'll see . Hope your having a wonderful day

HI ANGIE.... I love Reba and Barbara Jean is my favorite character she is a hoot. I also watch Gilmore Girls , you should watch it more often its a really good show. I love Everyone loves Raymond although its reruns now and I also love Golden Girls.I tend to watch a lot of the home shows , no surprize I bet. So its back to the grind for you is it , thats to bad. Do you think that you will have the house redone by the next 16 days I'm happy to hear that your doctor has given you the thumbs up on your recovery though, thats most important. Did you sit for long once you could straighten up, the whole time you were home, something tells me no. I hope you having a great day Angie

HELLO TO EVERYONE ELSE; MARTI, MINDEE ,SUE ,KATHY, KATY, SUE ,PAM, WHERE EVER YOU ARE JULIE AND ANYONE I MISSED HOPE YOUR ALL WELL AND HAVING A GREAT DAY

PS: CRISTI I COULDN'T GET THE PICTURE OF THE BRACELET

Good evening all,
Ellen,I am always breathless when I finish your post.. but I love it. I have found a dress I want to wear for my son's wedding this Aug. too, it's on line. But I am not ordering it until later, hoping to be ordering a smaller size.

I intend to ride for about an hour tonight. Marti, you do realize my bike is in my bedroom, its an encumbant bike. I can set it on certain programs, so far I am on A ride in the park.. I am thinking about going up another level, it's like taking a harder path in the park. I put Everybody Loves Raymond on or HGTV and I ride away.

IT was trying to spit out some snow this morning, but it gave up after a while. The sun popped out for a brief hello then crawled back under the dark heavy clouds again. The sky is so dark, I wouldn't be surprised if we got some snow over night, I sure hope not.

Signed up my third fundraiser group this morning. I now have a ladies Child study group, a soccer league and an 8th grade class of one of our local schools. I enjoy working with the kids and groups. IT's one of the more fun parts of my job even though it can get very stressful before it's over. Jules it's funny you think the planting part would be play after stressing out at work...but I actually would rather sit at my desk all day and do the office work, pushing papers and making calls. I enjoy working with the people and solving problems and straightening out situations. It's a challenge. I guess all jobs have there good and bad parts. I'm glad I have so many sides to my work, I get to do a little of everything.

Just talked with Josh, my son who hurt his back. He is doing much better. Thank goodness for pain pills. He said they sent him home on Monday and early on Tuesday. they are being really understanding about it. That is always good.

Talking to son #2, it could be anytime... my new grandson's arrival is almost here. Getting excited....

Well, I am going to go up now and do some riding.. I'll check in again in the morning.. Have a great evening everyone

Hi everyone!

Pretty busy day here at Chez Rosiekate. My knitting buddy and I are going to knit the same shawl at the same time -- for moral support because neither of us has knit a full-on laceshawl before. Nancy - you out there? ever knit a shawl before? http://www.fibertrends.com/viewer/V4_shawls.html Scroll down to the Flower Basket Shawl - it will be a challenge; glad I have a friend going through the same misery, lol. I'll set a goal to get it done to wear for the JL trip to Portland.

Thanks for all the good vibes reD's preschool. I registered her for her current school, because I really was given no time to think about all the changes before the deadline. So she has a spot there, and we are #1 on the waiting list for the new school. I think she will end up in a good school no matter what and that makes me happy. One option will mean more work than the other, but if that's the way it has to be I can make it work for a year if that's what it takes. DD had speech therapy today and she's doing so well with the little boost she's getting from that. Just reminded me about how much I want to see all this momentum with her confidence to continue.

I am getting ready to take the kids to visit my mom in Condon for part of Spring Break. It will be nice to get out of town. My mom and I pretty much drink wine and watch HGTV. Big treat for me as we do not have cable. I plan on getting lots of great ideas for decorating our new rooms.

Jane - I can't believe how fast your house has come together! I can tell you're excited about it - I would be too. The colors sound just beautiful.

Ginny
- a new grandbaby - congratulations - or almost anyway. Any day now...I can't remember - do you live close enough to be there for the birth? Or are you going to travel to visit the new baby?

Ellen - I LOVE that dress! So classy....

I have to go get DS from a playdate, so Hi to everyone else
Hope you are all having a good day

Katy

Katy can you make me both the Bella and Charlottes easy shawl? I think thats a great idea about both of you doing it at the same time. What color?

Susan, I like the name Mr. Jingles, one of my favorite movies is The Green Mile, Tom Hanks,, anyways the lil mouse was called Mr. Jingles.
I did the Starbucks thing today too, I had a Chai Tea Latte, (please Jane tell me its not food porn!)

Ginny so good to hear about your son, back injuries are so brutal to have.

Christina, I like the colors you are going with. I think there is got to be a way that you can get your yellow/gold is there a wall that is not touching the other walls? My living room has one wall that is painted a gold color, its called Wedding Ring. And then the rest of the walls are either cream or sage green.

Jules WAHOOO on the co worker from HECK not working near you again...so with mine gone too, we only now have to get rid of Susan's....

Marti, Id like to get a good tracker,,,but seriously I don't walk all that much other then I want to keep a record of my walks,,,once the ice has totally melted.
Didn't get to go see Tanner's rehearal. BUT hit the big jackpot on costumes. I broke out in a sweat seeing all the beautiful stuff. And I got to bring home alot of them. I was giddy...lol Tanner called me from school and told him I was on the way to pick him up and told him to keep the teachers there.....wanted them to see my treasures...lol They had gotten most of the costumes from Value Villiage, in the NE of the city. There is a higher population of East Indians and I guess they gave away alot of their old clothes...bonus for us. So now all I am needing is Tanner's wedding clothes.

well I should get to bed....more adventures tomorrow...lol

Let’s see, where to catch you all up from. On Saturday, the 18th, we had to take Logan into the ER. He wasn’t keeping any of his food in his belly. So, off we went. They checked him out, gave him a breathing treatment, a dose of steroids and off we were. We ended up going to help friends of ours move. So, we ended up getting a hotel that night. On the king sized bed in the hotel was me, Logan and Brandon. The bed was too soft for Tommy so he slept on the couch. We noticed on Sunday that there was a whitish colored discharge coming from Logan’s right ear. I called the doctor’s office on Monday, and after waiting to hear back from them, I finally got a call and was told that the pediatrician wanted to see him Tuesday morning at 9:30am.

Took Logan into the pediatrician yesterday. He doesn’t have an ear infection, but she said that his ear drum is sideways (I think….long day can’t remember). Then we went grocery shopping and ran into my mom. We went over to her house, and she gave us a couple of things. Both boys are better today. Logan is doing great!

The boys are doing much better today. Logan isn’t as wheezy as he has been. Brandon is back to his normal typical boy self. Logan hasn’t thrown up on me since yesterday morning. So we are in the clear, I hope!

Ellen~ It is so good to hear from you! Thanks for the congrats on Logan. The place is nice. Work isn’t going well, Tommy has been out of work for a little over a month now, so there isn’t any work up here. So, we are looking for apartments down in the city, since that is where the work seems to be. We like it, but like I mentioned, there is no work.

Jules~ Brandon is on medicine because he had an earache. Logan is on a nebulizer and Albuterol. They have a vaporizer in there room. We also get them in the cold air so that can help with their breathing. (Brandon is as close to 100% as he can be. Logan is getting there, he still has stuffiness when he wakes up, but at least we are not chasing after his runny nose!)

Jane~ I am doing good, thanks for asking. We have just been so busy lately. Last week, was crazy! Monday night we were in the ER/walk-in clinic with Brandon, when we got home Logan started to act sick. Wednesday, we took both boys into the pediatricians office. We were told Logan has RSV and Brandon has bronchiolitis with an ear infection. Saturday, it was back to the ER, but with Logan. So far this week, we have had to go to the pediatrician’s office on Tuesday. Plus, we have been looking for apartments back down in the city. (no point staying up here if there is no work, right? So we are going to go where the work is at)

Susan~ I am sending lots of hugs your way!

Ginny~ They are doing better.

Marti~ Like I mentioned to Jane, I am doing good. Just been very busy! We are actually glad that they are both sick at the same time, for the same reasoning that you mentioned.

I think I worked out a little too much the other night. My neck is sore, so I am guessing maybe I might have pulled or strained something in my neck. I finally got weights, and maybe I did too much.

Cristina~ Nope, no word on the house. In fact, I am doing a search right now for apartments and we will go down Friday and check them out. We are going to turn in an application for a place that our friends just moved into. The kiddos are doing good, they are getting better.

Good morning,

Mindee: glad to hear the boys are doing better. You had a rough week with the boys. IT's always hard when they are both sick like that, but glad it's finally getting done with. Be careful with those weights, don't want to hurt yourself, you have to many to take care of there, don't need you getting sick or hurt.

Katy, unfortunately no, I am in Michigan and the baby is coming in Calif. I will not see him until they come for youngest son's wedding in Aug. There is no chance for us to get away until July and then it's only a month till the wedding so as hard as it will be, I won't see him till then. We have web cams and of course pictures.... I will have to be satisfied with that. We try to see them at least once a year, twice if possible, it's really hard with their being so far away.

Angie, I take it Tanner is in a school program, did you say it was an Aladdin story? Sounds like you are having a good time with the costumes. I always enjoyed watching the kids perform. They are so cute.

Well Jane, you didn't keep the snow at your place. We got a sprinkling of it last night. I figured we would, the sky was so black. But the sun is already out and shining here this morning, so this stuff will be melted by noon. But it is still so darn cold.

Son #4 just called, he is working with us for now, his job was downsized when the company sold to another company, so he got laid off. He had scoliosis when he was younger and ended up having his whole back fused together with a rod up his spine. After the surgery he gained 2 and a half inches in height. Anyway he hurt his back at work too on Wed. and just called to say he is taking another day off. Seems to run in the family, these back problems.

Son #3 just called also, he is the one with the 3 grandbabies. They are coming for supper tonight. Liver and onions, his choice. We get together every Thursday for supper and then we watch Smallville together. He is the one who got me hooked on it.

Ellen, I did not say you talk to much.. I love to read your post, it's just that they are so full of energy that when I read them I get breathless. That is a compliment, so keep writing just like you are.

Since I have been feeling better, I am not drinking as much water. And I seem to be plateauing,, the scale has not moved for a few days. I have to remember to keep drinking....it's just so hard to do that when working. I can't keep taking potty breaks, it's a long walk to the potty.. but hey that is exercise right? only it takes time away from working... o what a vicious cycle we weave.....

well better end this and get my shoes on, and get off to work. Check inlater...

Katy--I am back to knitting scarves after a refresher on how to cast off!! There is a shop nearby that gives lessons and I am going to take a class to learn more than just knit & purl. Later this spring they are giving a class in knitting shawls that sounds interesting--it says even beginners can take the class. (ps--still no Coke--but I am slacking on the water!)

Jane---mmmm.mmmm honey mustard on turkey......you give the best food porn--I am going to check out the Newmans Lighten Up honey mustard.

Marti--last year fall they gave out pedometers at work to everyone and had us track our steps and then HR came up with the "traveling" we had done and where it took us and what items of interest could be seen there. It was actually pretty neat.

Nancy (& Jane) -- one if my favorite exercise tapes at home is Cosmopolitan Tonetics, it's a full workout but unfortunately my second one is wearing out--I did see a couple n Ebay.....

Ellen--I sanded kitchen cabinents for over a year before getting a job as a title abstractor (I did all the background land/home title research to make sure the seller has no secrets) I loved that job and was there until I got pregnant with DD and became a stay at home mom. As far as the backyard kittys.... there are four regulars and I can actually pet two of them. At our last place there was a farm nearby so there were ALWAYS strays. For a while a baby skunk joined that group--I was afraid that it would spray one of us or the other cats or our dogs, but it never did. I never tried to pet it though it did come really close to me a couple of times.

Angie--I just wish people would stop coming to me and asking me if she did the same things when she worked for me......YES, yes and yes....she is not a good worker and I doubt she ever will be... I hope Susan soon joins our "see ya later" club for bad coworkers!!

speaking of Susan.....HI SUSAN!!!! Hope all is well with you

Mindee..I am glad your little ones are getting better..make sure you take care of you too!!

Cristina--I like the colors you picked....all of you home decorators are going to get me motivated.....Bracelet is nice and congrats to reaching a goal!!

Ginny--I can only say that I am sorry if I offended you with a comment that was not intended to have any malice in it--I too enjoy solving problems and working with people which is why for the most part I do love my job..it just has it's stressful moments and at this point I can't wait for the weather to warm up and get out into the yard. We put a new green tin roof on our small house last fall and this spring I am going to paint the shutters and edging hunter green to match. COME on warm weather!!! I agree with you on the water--if I keep up on drinking at least three to four 20 oz bottles, the weight comes off--when I stop I do the plateau thing too.

DS's girlfriend came with me to Pilates class, we had such a good class. I love the instructor. Alicia (DS's gf) has problems with her back and has been currently working as a contract worker with FEMA answering phones and doing data enty. She said after the class her back actually felt better and is going to keep coming with me. She doesn't like the Curves gym she is going to so when the contract is up she is joining the SLim-n-Tone I go to where the class is held.

Well break time is over!!

Quick post since I'm going to work early today and I have tomorrow off......(My anniversary! But it off for Jhanai)

I did want to report that I walked 4 miles yesterday!!

So that's a total of 13miles.
Maybe if I put it on when I get up and just track my whole day?! I'll start that Monday, and go week by week.

Ok....off I go, will do individuals next time!

Hello ladies...

Well, finally got that snow they were talking about. It started late last night (was up late reading) and looked so pretty. Looked like someone turned the lights on outside! Anyway, everything was still covered this morning at 7 but by the time I left the house at 9 most of it was melting. It's just about all gone now. We have a little up against the back of the fence where the shade is. It was purdy while it lasted.

ELLEN...WOW! That dress is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!!! And I know you will look awesome in it! How horrible that you fell down the stiars and DS couldn't get in the house. You best be careful missy. At least your son is back with you. Here's a link to some pix of the house if you or anyone else wants to take a gander. http://share.shutterfly.com/action/w...2AZOHDZs4YsXrg V didn't get any really good pix. When we went over there to take them Josh had called and I wasn't about to get off the phone. So I couldn't tell V what I wanted him to take. He took more and better pix of the other house that we were thinking about and I liked better. Oh well...and it was cloudy that day so the lighting isn't so great. The house is yellow but it looks sort of beige. And he didn't get one from the LR window looking out the back like I would have wanted. He stood not quite in the middle of the back yard. The one bedroom is Josh's and while it looks small it isn't, it's the angle he took it at...he was trying to get the window with the view. The other bedroom not sure what he was aiming for but you can barely see the corner jacuzzi tub in the bath and if you look at the top there is a plant shelf that has lighting-love it. On each side of the tub is a sink and as you walk in the door to the left is the walk-in closet and to the right is a big shower. The toilet is all the way to the back around the corner to the left. Looks small but it's really not. More than enough room for us. Anyway, that's it.

JULES...funny about Dave. I don't have the records but DD is making me some CD's with my favorite oldies. I've got three pages of my favorite songs from the 60's & 70's. She knows where to go online and get them. We do that a lot. I will buy a CD that she likes and she will make a copy of it & vice versa. She just made a copy of my Audioslave CD that she said "Oh, mommy" when I bought it. Hey, I like them as does she now. I get a new CD and listen to it till I am sick of it and then move on to another, lol. Sometimes though we don't want to buy a whole CD just for one song, so she will go to her place and find the song and make CD's.Anyway, love Lighter Shade of Pale...such a nice song. Is is lgihter For some reason I always thought it was Whiter Shade of Pale...ya learn something new every day.

ANGIE...there's one wall that you can't can't see from the LR or dining area. But there's nothing to paint. The cabinets go to the top of the plant shelf and then the backsplash is tile from the counter to the cabinet so there's nothing to paint on that wall. This is going to be tricky. But I do love the gold color and we'll figure something out. Maybe just do the wall where the bay window is around to the laundry room door and stop there. Your colors sound nice. And WTG on hitting the big one with all the costumes! That must be fun.

KATY...what a pretty shawl. Make me one, pleeeeaaase! I like the leaf lace one too! But they are all nice. So good you are. I know it will be nice. Yes, what color are you doing?

JANE...the bracelet isn't anything fancy or expensive, just something I liked and thought would be a good reward. Also, would keep my focus where it should be...on losing weight! I too didn't know you guys were all ready to start painting the house. Or soon to be. MAn you must have a big, fast crew working on it. Know you guys are excited about getting it done!

MARTI...you are doing great with your pedometer. You will be in tip top shape in no time missy, or actually just in time for your SF trip! Bet you and James are excited about that and actullay having some time alone.

GINNY...did you mention liver and onions? Mmmmmm, delicious! I love that stuff but hardly ever fix it because there's just two of us who eat it, me and Jason, DS#1. Hope you DS gets to feeling better. That must be awkward him having a rod in his back, ouch. Sorry to hear about DS#4 being laid off. Bet he will enjoy working with you guys though.

MINDEE...poor little guys. I hope they get to feeling better soon. Hate to see or hear of the little ones being sick. Hopefully soon you guys will get the place you want and Tommy will find the perfect job.

SUSAN...we are going to have to make a trip to Trader Joes when I am down there, or rather up there. You talk about them so much and I had heard others talk about it-I have to see how good it is! Hey, do you guys have pastrami up there? Like the way they make it in CA? OMG! If you do I am coming home fatter! That is my favorite food but since leaving CA I have not found any place that makes it like that. Hope all is well with you and the girls today.

About the goal/bracelet...I made that goal a while back(it was actually 13 lbs. I had lost-gained some back). But I started out with an original goal of 20 pounds. But the bigger goal has seemed to be harder to make. I thought i would break it down to smaller 10 pound goals and reward myself for the first 10 pound mini-goal and every 10 pound goal after, thinking it would get me there faster. So, we will see what happens. But thank you ladies.

Not much going on today. Had some errands to run and man the people drive more crazy when the roads are bad, jeez! Then had a bunch of photos to scan and get on shutterfly. I found some more for my nephew and had intended to send them to him but couldn't part with this bunch. So was goin gto have some copies made and never got around to it. So....decided to just put them on Shutterfly and send them to him and if he wants copies he can get them. So, just have a load of laundry to do and that's my day...boring as usual.

Question though...anyone know anything about the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program? Or know anyone who has ever done it? I was thinking about doing it after listening to the radio this morning and them needing people. Anyway, seriously considering it. Going to check it out first.

Okay, I've gone on enough...

Take care ladies and have a great day!

Christina---Nice house!!! How exciting!!! I stand corrected...it is Whiter Shade of Pale.....I just got the new Cyndi Lauper CD which is an acoustic version of some of the old faves a a couple of new ones. I love Time After Time and True Colors..... my son just got a Ghost Buffalo CD which I really like too. He listens to alot of bands not played on the top 40 stations. There is a real cute video he had me watch by Lemon Demon called Geeks in Love.

Marti--way to go on the walking--have fun on your day off!

Hi again ladies,

Christina, congrats on your mini goal, keep it up and you will have a box full of jewelry before you know it and be fit and trim to boot.

Marti good job on the walking. 13 miles is great. I forgot to tell you this morning when I posted, yesterday I rode 9.1 miles on my bike. Between the two of us, we've covered quite a bit of ground so far. Imagine where we could be right now.. we need to find us a destination to work toward.

I don't have much time to be on here right now, have to get supper started as the little ones are coming over with DS#3.

I have to start taking notes as I read these posts, I always want to reply to someone or add something but then I get down here and I can't remember.

Jules, you're forgiven this time. It just hit me the wrong way I guess. There is just so much involved with our work that it bothers me when people say things like that, like it's all just fun and games..so ok, we'll start on a clean slate. I do have to try to keep drinking my water... and maybe I should wear my pedometer and see how many miles I can rack up running to the potty..

The boy friend of the DD of the gal who works for us is coming over this evening to clean my computer. So hopefully he knows what he is doing and it will run better. It keeps freezing up on me..and performing illegal actions...and then shutting down.. so if you don't hear from me for a while it's cause I got cleaned out to good....j/k

ok. well catch ya all later. Have a good evening..

Ginny

Hi ladies,

Jules - oic about the trip to Oregon. Just remember that we'd love to meet you, though.

Marti- I add canned, diced tomatoes to soups that I have for lunch. When fresh are in season, I use those. It makes the soup last long and is so healthy, too.

Ellen - aren't you going to the June Oregon meet-up? Hope so. My sister's DD is thinking of buying some land in the country and building a home, with a "Grandmother's Cottage" in back for my sister. That would be cool! Zowee~the dress is gorgeous!! I'm waaaay too fat to carry that off, but I sure wish I could!

Ginny - I don't even know the colors for my DSs wedding yet. Gina said she'd let me know soon. Is the grandson there yet???? Or did you mean in a few days? Hey, I TOLD the snow to stay away from you, tee hee.

Katie - when are you leaving for your mom's? This weekend? She eats pretty healthily, doesn't she? Seems like you mentioned that earlier.

Angie -

Mindee - glad the boys are better today.

Cristina - wow, that house is very nice! Hope you get it. Big sister/brothers is a good program. My nephew is a big brother to a boy in Indy, where he lives. Around here, they ask the younger ones - 20s and 30s - to take a child. Not sure if that's the way it is everywhere. Hope this doesn't offend you, but what about the grandparents program? Isn't there something like that? I think it's wonderful for you to do something with kids with your free time.

I had lunch with my niece Carol today and had the grilled chicken and mandarin oranges at Wendy's. YAY.

Katie is sick again in Florida. She went to the doctor, and I'm waiting for her to call and tell me what he said. Sounds like bronchitis, to me, but what do I know?

Have a good one, ladies!
