Good Morning . . . the sun is shining again . . .

Nothing too exciting around here today . . . so sorry you're feeling under par, Wendy, hope everything will soon be better. Oh, Robsia, you are such a mover and shaker, I'm sure you'll be ahead of schedule again before long.

Here's a nice big :grouphug: for everybody . . . see you all later. Keep doing the good stuff.

buckneram 04-01-2006 11:50 AM

Eight by Easter...maybe six for me. Had three bad days in a row with food, but I did work out. As for everyone else...great job. I am so happy that you are able to control yourself. I am getting back on the bandwagon today so wish me luck!

Cheryl120 04-02-2006 10:06 AM

Hi Ladies,

Wendy and Flame...Whooo Hooo on your pounds loss. :carrot: :carrot:

Robsia...Halfway to your Easter goal...I'm jealous...LOL

Angela...A Great Big Welcome to you!!

Well it's taken me all week to get the 4lbs I gained when TOM paid me a visit. I'm finally back 338 and it has been a stuggle. Yesterday, my DH and I went to Fargo to do our monthly shopping. Had lunch at KFC. Usually this would be an all out pig fest for me:hun: but, with my DH help, I had a small serving of cole slaw, mash potatoes w/gravy, biscuit and a chicken breast. I should of removed the chicken skin, but didn't. Counted all my points and stayed within what I was alloted for the day. I felt satisified and not deprived.

Have a good one ladies.

Cheryl

buckneram 04-02-2006 01:43 PM

Cheryl glad that you got to eat what you wanted and stayed it your points. Bet it was yummy! As for me, I went shopping yesterday and bought all my healthy fruits and veggies for the week. Can't wait til the pears are ripe. Well, the weekends almost over...you can do it!

meowee 04-02-2006 02:59 PM

Hello out there . . . Atlantic Canada is chilly, windy, rainy . . . guess the sun cannot shine all the time. Hopefully it will be back soon. :^:

Nothing too exciting going on around here but I seem to be keeping very busy at it. Sometimes I just don't know where the time gets to. :dizzy:

Anyway, everybody keep it going on, and we'll check back soon. :carrot:

flamejobgrrl 04-02-2006 04:34 PM

Got myself a helmet today for my bike - so I packed the dog into the basket on the front (chihuahua) and we took off. My thighs are so mad at me now, but I don't care ;) So now I am off to nap it off - exercise is exhausting.

buckneram 04-02-2006 11:10 PM

Lost two pounds this week so I am halfway to eight! YEAH! Didn't think I'd loose this week, but the exercise helped.

meowee 04-03-2006 07:28 AM

Good Morning . . . at least I think it's morning . . . it's so dull it's a little hard to tell. Besides that, I have a difficult time adapting to time changes, anyway and I just finished posting a long rant about it in another thread so I'll spare you the details here. ;)

Zzzzzzz . . . think I'll go have a nap, or something. Have a great day, gang. See you soon and hopefully I'll be adjusted to DST by then. Believe me, I have even more trouble going back to ST in the fall. :o

ArtsyGirl 04-03-2006 11:46 AM

Rough weekend = 2 pound gain.

I can still make my goal though. Back on track and raring to go. Great job to all successes. Keep it up. I need your inspiration this week!!

Cheryl120 04-04-2006 08:51 AM

Morning Ladies,

Congrats to those who had a loss for the week. Whooo Hooo for you!!!

I'm hoping for a nice loss on Wednesday since I loss the water weight gain.:D I did good yesterday, got my exercising in with Richard and I made good food choices and kept within my points. Today, I'm going walking since we are going to be 60 and sunny.:sunny: :running:
Make it a good one ladies.

Cheryl

meowee 04-04-2006 09:13 AM

Good Morning, everybody . . . I'm pretty sure I know what day it is . . . and maybe even the time. :D The sun is shining but it is not exactly warm out. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to settle for what we've got.

Once again, nothing is too exciting around here although it looks like I'll be going back to work for a bit . . . this, "please do a special project for us" stuff happens a couple of times a year. . . someday I'll really get to retire, I hope. Hey keeps me off the streets. :o

Anyway, gang. Keep moving and shaking and heading downward and we'll see you all soon. :carrot:

ArtsyGirl 04-04-2006 10:25 AM

Had a rough weekend and gained, but the scale showed improvement today. Wont change my ticker back down quite yet, but I'm back on track.

Keep working hard. Less than 2 weeks to get this goal!

buckneram 04-04-2006 04:34 PM

Brandy-glad you're back on track. It's nice to catch back up.
Well, got my new Richard Simmons tape in the mail. YEAH! Can't wait to do it. Well, gotta get moving...ttyl

flamejobgrrl 04-04-2006 11:24 PM

I ate like a pig this weekend too. I really need your best tips on how to do good when you really want to be bad.

Tim Hortons new carmel apple fritter and chocolate carmel donut - so good and SOO BAD. I am back at the gym like crazy this week and eating well. Hope I can get to the goal. How are you all doing????

Robsia 04-05-2006 04:06 AM

YES!!

Dropped down to 179.9 this morning! It was nice to see that 7 there, even if it is only barely. Only 0.9 to go till my Easter goal!!

Well done to all those who lost and to everyone else - there's plenty of time yet!!!

meowee 04-05-2006 08:32 AM

Wow . . . after expecting the worst, did I ever get a pleasant surprise this morning. I got to move my little 'running-cat-slider' downward by 3 pounds. :goodscale Kind of makes up for the cool, rainy morning we are having. Forecast is calling for some sun later on and a high of 10 (50). We'll just have to wait and see.

Have a great day, gang. I hope you all get some kind of pleasant surprise today. :carrot:

meowee 04-06-2006 05:45 PM

Today is definitely not up to yesterday's happy level . . . I'm not feeling at all well. Hope the rest of you are doing OK, wherever you are. See you soon. gang.

buckneram 04-06-2006 05:53 PM

meowee...hope you are feeling better.
Okay, so I've lost four pounds total so far. If I loose two more this week and two next week, I'll have done it. My new Richard Simmons tape is awesome. lots and lots of fun!

ArtsyGirl 04-06-2006 06:22 PM

Hi guys-I am feeling better so started back on my exercising and trying to be healthy all around. My weight is spastic at the moment but I'm still hoping I can make this goal Today it said 133. That means I've gotta drop 4 more. That is doable if I buckle down.

Robsia-you are awesome!!

Good luck to everyone!

flamejobgrrl 04-06-2006 10:04 PM

I like the mile challenge on the bike!! After Easter I am going to set a workout goal instead of weight loss because I am pretty steady in weight right now as muscle builds and fat drops.

ArtsyGirl 04-07-2006 07:24 AM

flamejob-If you're a biker, join us down in the exercise thread. We've only just started and I know a few haven't logged any miles yet due to weather. We're allowing for stationary bike mileage also. Unfortunately I don't know how to get mileage from my spinning class.

meowee 04-07-2006 01:35 PM

Another quick little hello . . . still feeling icky. Hope everybody else is doing well. See you soon.

flamejobgrrl 04-08-2006 02:07 AM

Just got back from Thai food with friends - I got the "WOW you look great". I like hearing it, but don't believe it - I still look the same in the mirror to me! Ate a nice healthy meal tonight and have a FUN FILLED DAY of manual labour for mom to get the property ready for spring. I am going to sleep in Sunday. Have a good weekend ALL!!!

meowee 04-09-2006 11:45 AM

Hello everybody . . . I'm feeling almost human again . . . still a little fuzzy around the edges :dizzy: but definitely an improvement from a few days ago. Temperature seems to be normal and I've stopped eating every carb I could get my hands on (result of the fever demanding to be fed).

Hope everyone else is doing well . . . wherever you are. Keep moving and shaking and heading in that great downward direction, gang. See you again soon. :carrot:

ArtsyGirl 04-10-2006 08:00 AM

Weigh in later today. I think I need to move weigh in to NOT be on Monday. I'll be back with the results later. Pray for me.

buckneram 04-10-2006 10:55 AM

I probably gained...I had two bday parties this weekend and at like a pig!! LOL. But seriously, i am okay with it and that's all that matters.

meowee 04-10-2006 02:50 PM

Hi gang . . . nice sunny day today . . . and I feel pretty normal . . . but my little work project is definitely eating into my time more than I'd like.

Just thinking about Easter being only 6 days away. Personally . . . I don't expect to make the 8 pounds . . . I'd need another great 3 like last week. Those never seem to happen to me twice in a row . . . just have to wait until Wednesday and see what happens, I guess.

Good luck to everybody who is getting close. We all just have to keep moving and shaking with gusto, gang. :carrot:

Robsia 04-10-2006 03:00 PM

Well, I've dropped 0.2 every day for the last few and I've only got 0.2 to go so I may hit it tomorrow - or I may stay where I am for another 6 days!!

But I am very hopeful of making it by next Sunday!

ArtsyGirl 04-10-2006 04:50 PM

The gym this morning still had me at 133. I dont think I'm going to make this goal, but there is still a slight chance....Guess we'll see.

meowee 04-12-2006 08:51 AM

Yippee . . . another pound gone (actually it's a bit more but these tickers don't measure part pounds, I may have to find one that does). With Easter only four days away, it will take a near-miracle for me to lose another two pounds and make my goal . . . but we will wait and see . . . after all, it is the season for them (no disrespect intended). :D

Have a great moving and shaking day, gang. Here's a little :dust: to get us through these last few days to our goal deadline.

Robsia 04-13-2006 05:26 AM

Yay - I hit my goal today!! Actually went past it - 178.6 this moring.

4 days early as well!!

I am happy happy happy!

meowee 04-13-2006 10:38 AM

:woo: Robsia :woo:

ArtsyGirl 04-13-2006 05:43 PM

My scale jumped!!!!!:goodscale :carrot: :carrot:

This morning was 129.6! I may just reach this goal!!!!

Robsia-GREAT JOB!!!!:bravo: :cheer: :dancer:

ArtsyGirl 04-14-2006 08:37 AM

I DID IT!!!!!I just did my normal morning weigh in and the scale read 128.8!!!!!!
That means I met my Easter goal AND
I HAVE LOST 40 POUNDS!!!
I am so happy:carrot:

Robsia 04-14-2006 08:41 AM

Yay - that's fabulous!! Well done you!! :bravo: :woo: :balloons:

meowee 04-14-2006 03:23 PM

Once again, Brandy. Yay, wow, yay.

Pretty unlikely that I'll make mine, but I will weight on Sunday morning to see how close I get.

See you then. Good luck vibrations being sent out for all the rest of you who are getting sooooo close. :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

meowee 04-16-2006 07:07 AM

Well, as expected, I did not make my Easter goal. As a matter of fact, the ugly scale- says I've gained 4 pounds in the past 4 days and I don't believe it. Hopefully, it will be gone again by my official WWI day.
