Happy Sunday!
Hi Ladies - we have been MIA - I have been missing everyone (and me too!). Anyway, I have been doing well, except Friday I had two events that challenged me to stay OP - Went to lunch to celebrate birthdays at the Hard Rock Cafe - had a cobb salad. And I had hors d'voures during an event at my house Friday night - needless to say I had a few wing dings and a couple of glasses of wine! The scale was moving all week (down :carrot: ) but it is holding steady now. None-the-less I am expecting to have a great weigh-in day tomorrow.
Sushi - congrats on your STI moment :strong: and :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: for 5 days of goals met! carla - :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: for 3 days of early morning boot camps! I admire you for sticking to it. I agree with you about the mirror. Recently, I got a look at myself in a full length mirror, in the buff, and that was enough to convince me to STOP THE INSANITY of choosing eating plans that I am not committed to! dg :hug: nice to hear from you! Morning... I'm tired. :yawn:
Goals not met for Sunday after all - when I posted before, I had forgotten the bowl of fruit I had around 8:30 pm. Which I didn't need to have at that. And I went to bed a bit late, too. Feeling it right now... I was going to get up early & do my running, but I was too tired and didn't get up until 5:50 am in the end. It was good, actually, as it was still dark at 6 am, so I wouldn't have been able to go running. Looking forward to my Yoga class tonight - my legs are in dire need of some good stretching after all the running, skipping and stationary biking I've been doing! :lol: I stretch every day as much as I can, but still feel stiff, especially in the back of my calves. Carla, good luck with your spinning! You rock! I couldn't do that... tried spinning about a year ago and hated it! It's Monday here, so time to post my challenges for this week: - no food after 7 pm and in bed with lights off by 10 pm (need to leave for work early this week, but I'm giving myself up to 15 min of flexibility for the weekend and days like today, when I don't get home until 9 pm and still need to do my exercise!) - stability ball workout & midriff moves (at least 5 days out of 7) - no more than one coffee per day (today excepted, I need to wake up!) |
