p/t is a great thing to take advantage of, if you are insured. I have been numerous times and it always helped.

hey tara! thanks.....having cp ive had pt most of my life and hate it but the thing is, if i need these braces then i will need a train pt to help teach me how to walk in them. right now 1 step at a time and step one is tuesdays appt to explain the situation and see whether or not he thinks he can fix em or ned new ones.

Day two of normal food and I haven't gained my weight back yet;) I really thought I would wake up and find I gained it all back just with yesterdays calories. Even though it really wasn't that much it was tons more then what I've had all week.

hey losin:) YES tomm. is the day! im rejoining bc i have a coupon for a 10$ to get 2 1/2 months for 99$ instead of 109 but you have to be joining so even though im a lfm im just gonna redo the whole thing so i can save the 10 bucks....hey 10 is 10! plus i have 7 tickets from a prepay pkg i just bought not long ago so im hoping that by the time all 17 tickets are done im bk@goal. thanks for the support...i need it esp after what i went through this mornin about the braces bc i called the ins. comp. to see what the process was if i need tom start w fresh ones&they want a reason in writing from the dr....this is humilating...how the * is ANYONE supposed to justify having a binge problem&being too fat to fit the current ones?! the reason i did all of this is bc a good friend had a good point shes like is it even possible for him to let them out?(i thought id remembered it being possible but the thing is what if it isnt? and even if he can im sure theeres a limit to how much he can safely do it w/o compromising the strength of the brace so what if the limit isnt enough? and best yet.... what if god forbid he doesnt still have the other 1/2 of the brace?!(the other issue is support for my knees so at the very least he'd be slapping the full brace together again)

yeah actually im pretty deep in. the thing that annoys me is when the ins lady asked if i was gonna get em anyway if they said no and i said no(we are talkin THOUSANDS of $ here) she said then it cant be a neccessity and im like yea it is but what else should i say bc whgere am i supposed to get the money? i was like im on SSD i get a few measly hundred per month

Andrea I needed a brace at one time and got it before knowiing that the ins people would not pay for it. I eventually got a bill and by that time was on temporary disability. The doctors office offered me a economic hardship, which basically meant that they wold eat the cost, migth be an option for you...

thanks tara ill keep that in mind:) glad to know there are still good ppl lerft in the world. its just that im sure the bill in jan. was mind blowing bc my old old short braces were like 2000 sim sure these were close to 6. thats why i was p/o yest at that lady

thanks tara. 2 hrs to go and im freaking out. my mom is saying we are gonna get charged even if they can fix the existing ones and that ins. wont pay but thet told me its covered. its the idea of new ones theyre putting up a fight for. whats up on your end?
