Hello ladies:
Catherine: I hope everything is ok. Post again soon and let us know how things are going. Our prayers are with you.
Serena: where have you been...still celebrating your big loss!! I still can't get over that, WW's is like that...you'll plug along at 1/2 a pound or something like that and then bingo, down 3.4 in one week! I remember years ago when I did it the first time I lost hardly anything the first week but lost over 6 lbs the 2nd week...what a great feeling that is when it happens...it reminds you sometimes you have to be patient.
Nori: You've lost almost 40 lbs, WOW!! I always get inspired when I read about you doing your exercise regularly. Thanks for sharing the photos with us. I looked at so many, your sisters are as pretty as you are and the photos of Hawaii were gorgeous. I need to organize my photos online on a website like that.
Kim: you mentioned a challenge a few days ago...how about we chart what we lose between 10/9 and 11/20 that's 6 weeks till just before Thanksgiving. Then the following 6 weeks will end on January 1, 2007 getting 2 challenges under our belt before the new year! With 12+ weeks we can all lose between 10 and 25 lbs easily prior to going into 2007.
Should we come up with some kind of prize? Who's in for the challenge, the 5 of us? Nori, Me, Serena, Kim, Catherine. How about the winner gets 4 little presents (inexpensive or handmade) from each of the others, or we could just do it for the glory and post our progress every Monday for the next 6 weeks. Give me some thoughts or some other ideas to make this interesting. Maybe this will draw some new blood back into the thread!1
DH said he'd put $10 in a kitty for every pound I lose. For my own incentive, I told him to put a minimum on it before I collected. We settled on $200 for 20 lbs. I'm thinking now I should have told him I wanted $25 a pound!
Have a great weekend. I'll be sure to check in to see if anyone has any challenge suggestions.
