Default Thursday night

Hi ladies. I'm confessing already, I haven't exercised at all. DD was sick and I had to bring her to the doctor. Just a sinus infection. Then it was mommy taxi to dancing, then pharmacy, then clean the kitchen that was a mess, laundry, etc. Then DD tells me she has a big test tomorrow. I tried to help her study for about an hour and out of 25 explorers she needs to know what they discovered, she got only 10 correct! Then I find a big packet of papers that are due in school tomorrow for the 4th grade yearbook. I'll never get to workout tonight. Oh well, tomorrow is another day I guess. DH is driving me crazy. He's trying to make blueberry muffins and he's interrupted me about 10 times to ask me a question. I guess I'm just in a bad mood
Have a good night.

Got a short workout tonight before bed. I am getting better, but still seems like I have a bit of a head fog. I weigh in tomorrow morning (hoping for a little lost - I am thinking one or two pounds) We will see.

Good night all - take care - Erin

Erin: Wow! 21 lbs. is wonderful. You should be very proud of yourself.

My sister visited this site and said Richard Simmons posts here. I told her our thread name and invited her to join, maybe we'll see her soon. She's from NJ. Ellen: if you're out there, jump on in!

Menu: B: cereal w/ blueberries, L: lean cuisine, D: cereal, granola bar, mini bagel w/ peanut butter. Not the healthiest menu but I was in a funk yesterday and didn't feel like cooking. Exercise: none Pts. 22 Water: 32 oz.

No exercise but I did clean the kitchen, do a load of laundry, tidy up the L/R, D/R and vacuumed all of downstairs. I think seeing how dirty the house was put me in a bad mood. Maybe tonight when I get home it will be better. I might make the kids fried dough pizza for dinner....wish me luck!

Have a great weekend everyone.

Hello everyone! I have to confess, I haven't had the greatest week. Some of my wisdom teeth have started coming in and I've felt horrible, so I haven't worked out this week. Eating's not been the greatest either, when I did feel like eating it was mainly Valentine's gifts (chocolate, candy, etc.) Thankfully most of the pain is gone - for a few days I felt like I wanted to rip out my jaws because it was so bad. Oh well, it's mostly gone now and I hope I can squeeze a few workouts in this weekend!

Default children working out

My 4 year old likes to do push ups and stuff. He tries to be like my husband when working out but when he does push ups he likes to try the one handed/one footed push ups that Sportacus (Lazy Town) does. Kids can be so funny. Thankfully all my boys are extremely active so hopefully they will never have to go through what I'm going through.

Hi girls. I'm at work and bored I called to book the tickets for the Science Museum for next Friday and the man at the museum told me to do myself a favor and don't come next week. He said during school vacation the whole place is filled elbow to elbow and it would be a waste of time. Oh well, I'll try to think of something else for the kids to do for at least one day. It's so windy here it's unbelievable.

Housework totally counts as exercise, Mo!! Go take a look at how many calories it burns on Fitday or Nutridiary! Were the muffins any good? My DH has never baked that I remember - I take that back - he makes cornbread! But otherwise it's more grilling and cooking main dishes - not baking!

WTG Erin!!! That's wonderful!

Serena - I also hope and pray my girls don't have to struggle like I have. I want to be healthy by the time they can "remember" me. And stay that way.

Katie - OMG, Poor thing! I remember so well the pain of wisdom teeth trying to come in - through bone! Do you have room for your to actually come through straight? 2 of mine were bone impacted and 2 were soft tissue impacted (and growing sideways) so all 4 of them were extracted. I thin I was 17. But on the up side, once you get them taken out you have to eat a liquid diet for awhile!

Sarah - how often do you use your FIRM dvd's? I'm considering getting some. But on the fence about putting out that amount of $$.

It's still FREEZING cold today. High for today is 24 degrees and the wind is howling. When I can out of the gym all sweaty and hot, my shirt froze.

Have a wonderful day everyone! IT'S FRIDAY! (Althought as a SAHM now, that's less exciting to me!)

Unhappy

Hello everyone! It has been a few days since I have checked in. It has been a long few days though!!!!

Erin, Your weight loss is phenomemnol, and you are sticking with your exercise. Way to go!

Maureen, it is ok about missingthe exercise. I know we all have times we don't want to or can't seem to get the exercise in! It is understandable with the kids. I had middle school open house last night. I am starting to feel old! LOL

Katie, you will get pass it! I am fortuante enough,I never had any pain with my wisdom teeth coming in. The only time I had pain was when I was pregnant.

Well, to all of the others, Nori, Serena, Elizabeth, Lisa and whoever else I know I have forgotten, I hope you are all well.

I have done some exercise myself this week, but not as much as I should be doing. I cannot wait to be with the trainer on Tuesday. My eating has been an emotional uproar. My FIL has been getting aggresive, mainly torwards the kids. The agressiveness is in his attitude and some of the things that her does. My husband's ex, ( not wife ) just got hired in my dept. They do have a child together. Which does not know a bout his dad. She refuses to tell him. Anyways, Ihave had a real hard time with her over the years, she comes around every so often and starts trouble or tries to get him back. I explained the situation to my boss. He understands, but he still hires her because she has the experience he needs. He can't be discrimitory because of me. She is a smart A-- and a trouble maker and we know something will come up. I have to watch every thing I say and do cause she will take anything she can and use it against me. Some of our friends who know her well, and who know how she was last time she went after him, actually think in some way she is trying to get at him and me . I even started smoking again this because of this. I know I shouldn't. Don't worry I have lectured myself enough. I guess I am just venting, It has been a real tough week! And all of youare such great listeners. Thanks a bunch! I wiould give all of you a few smilies, but for some reason tonight I cannot get them to come up. Talk to all of you later! Thanks again!

Default Inside comfy day

Well it is so cold here - the snow is going, but it is the colder than it was when it snowed. We have had a pretty warm winter so today is a total inside in you jammies or comfy outfit day!

I got some exercise in after making the little guy pancakes. I have not been doing too good in logging my exercise or what I am eating, but I feel as if I am doing what I need to; however, I need to get back to writing it down so I stay on the right path.

How is everyone else doing ??

Catherine - I am sorry about the issues at work. Be strong and do not get caught up in the drama. I know it is easier said than done, but do not let anyone get the best of you and discount what you have done. I am learning that myself with my office and hopefully we both can stay strong in our jobs.

Take care everyone - E

Post Howdy

Howdy, Everyone! Well, I am back in diet/healthy mode. I have decided I am going to post on here what I eat. Make myself more accountable! I did get to go roller skating today! I skated for 2 1/2 hours, I am feeling it now. A little girl fell in front of me and of course I went down on my knees. My left Knee is bothering me a little bit. I am going to look at my situation at work as a POSITIVE CHALLENGE! Hopefully, I can keep that mindset! Well, I will check in tomorrow. Hope everyone is fine.

BRKFST: Take Heart Oatmeal
LUNCH: Grilled Chicken on a biscuit, unsweet tea
SNACK: small piece of cheese pizza and water ( at the skating rink)
DINNER: Roast chicken and a large salad. Two thin mint cookies. ( I have 30 cases of Girl Scout Cookies in my house. )

My salads always have at least 5 different lettuces, peppers, cucumbers, snow peas ( 4 per salad), carrots, broccoli ( sometimes), small amount of cheese, and an egg and chicken. The egg and chicken I only put in if I do not have any other protein.

Not sure why I just told you all of that, but it does make a good salad.

LOL to all of you! Catherine

Post today's menu

Well, here goes my menu for today!

BFST: Take Heart oatmeal
LUNCH: 1 SB sesame chix wrap and a sf jello
SNACK: nachos with chicken , ( I used 9 chips and 1 ounce of chicken with a small amount of cheese and salsa) This was during the Daytona 500.
DINNER: marinated portobello mushrooms, yellow squash, peppers on the GF grill and 3 ounces of marniated pork chop baked inthe oven.
SNACK: 2x WW pecan crowns

I stayed under 1200 calories.
I did 50 minutes of a cardio which included WarmUp and CoolDown.

I know my weigh - in will not be good tomorrow since I am only now back on the wagon. Hope everyone's weigh -in goes well in the morning! Talk to all of you later!

Catherine
