I am all out of time. I checked in on the challenge this a.m. then oohed and aahed over those cute baby pix Mindee put up on her site. I updated my bio - and now DS needs to play a game! So just wanted to say hi and have a great evening. I hope to have more time to "chat" with individuals tomorrow..

Jules- Oh, I'm terrible! I've damaged myself so many times in my life, I'm surprised that I'm not glued together!

Poor Allen is sick, maybe croup. We're going to the doc tomorrow, hopefully he can give him something for that terrible barking cough! And at night, he sounds like a little piggy b/c his nose is so congested.

Cristi - I got the candle and card yesterday. Ohhhh it smells soooo good! No wonder you love it! Thank you so very much. Neal bought 100 2¢ stamps yesterday and said the clerk told him her last customer came in and bought a bunch of 37¢ ones - wanted to stock up before the price went up. :lol3: Yes, I think I'll sleep a lot better when I know "the baby" is all settled and doing fine in Florida. Hope you're feeling much better today!

Jules - glad the headaches are letting up a bit. Today will be better. Neal and I are switching to decaf tea. Just bought a box yesterday. Although I drink water all day long, from dinner until bedtime I drink tea. Might be a problem.

Susan - only last year did Vincennes get a Starbucks. Well, there is a mini one on campus, but none of the locals would go there. I don't go to either one, but Katie does.

Mel - yikes, glad you didn't break anything! Did you fall? Hope the bruises are better today. Be careful, missy!

Marti - I'm wondering if installing more memory to your hard drive would help the computer's speed. Betcha it would, and it's affordable now, compared to a few years ago.

Lots to do today. Neal and I are going to go running errands. We're meeting Katie at the bank to get her some traveler's checks (she has to sign them) and will probably do lunch out. DS and his family are coming by tonight to tell Katie goodbye since Saturday will be too busy for her.

I was much better OP yesterday. Putting a tablespoon of almonds or walnuts on a salad sure does jazz it up. I think they'd be good in oatmeal, too. With a spoon, or a fork, lol.

Understand Mike sent Gaby some clothes for Christmas - hope they fit - gave him the sizes you provided - he went out and bought items in all the wrong sizes - had to take everything back and get others in the proper sizes

Jane~ You don’t have to duck….every body keeps asking us when we are going to try for a girl….we keep saying that they can try for us cause we are done.

Mel~ Thanks for those nice words. Brandon was about a year old in that picture. From the way you described the barking cough…sounds like Croup to me. Brandon had it last Christmas. Logan got the beginning of it after he got his two month shots last week.

Cristi~ Thanks for the welcome back. The little rugrats are doing good. Brandon decided to eat some Desitin Creamy this morning, so we had to call the Poison Control. Logan is a lot bigger then Brandon was when he was 2 months old. They look so much alike that it is very cool to see. Yes I did get a perm…thanks for noticing. I got it done the day after 4th of July.

Just stressed on the job. Cold sore still there and I didn't walk this morning because of proper footwear!! I feel bloated and basically an overall failure. lol jk

I watched Dancing with the Stars last night with Gaby. We ate white cheddar cheetos! Yum. I did have 2 lo cal beers. I will be ever so LUCKY to get down 2 pounds this week. I don't feel on track at all.

I woke up to Gaby crying over a towel. I was up at 1:30 washing because we were out (we only have 4 - seems to be a pattern;0) and so I folded and stacked on the couch and when Gaby wakes up she sees them and is thrilled. Very easy child to please. You think we have never used a towel before........anyway. I go to get a shower and she won't let me use one. After the shower though I grabbed one from the pile saying " I need to get dry Gaby"
She starts crying "my towel, I love that towel"..............over an over - for 20 minutes at least. argh....

better get. I am back logged!!!

Hello ladies...

Feeling much better today but sinuses are draining and it's not so great. Was good enough to go do a little bit of shopping. Had a gift card that was burning a hole in my purse! :lol: So I found some shirts and jammies at Penney's that I like. Don't want to buy too many clothes though since I plan on losing more weight. While at the mall I went to get some candles at Yankee candle store, was totally out. Ended up having to order the Wedding Day scent online, thinking about going back and getting some more.

SUSAN...not sure what is going on with the ticker. It looks like it should be there because there is a big gap. :dunno: About the e-mail...I definitely would say something, because almost everything sent to Gaby was too big!

MARTI...ditto what Jane said. We need to clean a lot of stuff of ours and get more space, it definitely makes a difference.

JANE...glad you got the candle, bad news though. While at the store today, the lady told me the Wedding Day scent was retired last month! :cry: :( I went online and they still have some and the good news is they were on sale. So I ordered 20 votives and 5 boxes of the tealights. I'm thinking about going back and getting more. I told the lady "I don't know how I'm gonna live without those!" I do like the raspberry cream so that may replace it when they are all gone, boohoo. I was thinking about what you said and trying something that another jaded lady uses...you mentioned the Sarah Lee bread not too long ago and I had to try it. Now I buy nothing else. I tried the 100% whole wheat and it is sooo good and have been buying it for a few months now. Have been That is just too funny...stocking up on the 37 cent stamps before they go up-WHAT??? :lol: Too funny!

MEL...I forgot to even say anything about your fall, so sorry about that. Hope you are feeling better. And poor little Allen, hope he is feeling better. I hate to see the little ones sick. DH asked me last night if it was the medicine making me sleepy or if I was just really sleepy. I'm not sure what it was but I did a lot of sleeping. Feeling better today and not so sleepy, yet anyway.

JULES...flonase is good, have some of that and had to use it Wednesday night to help me sleep. Sorry you have to work in the sick building and I hope you stay healthy.

I guess I'll get going and go do my bio, almost forgot about doing it. Not much else going on. Not going to do any exercise today. Feeling better, but not so great to do anything. I did get in a little walk at the mall. :D

If I say something about the clothes it would be like this.......

Yes, I received 2 boxes one came from his lady friend and one came from Vancouver. I didn't know he moved(??????) suppose to tell me!I am sure he had the lady friend pick the clothing out and wrap them..... I am sure he just stood by and resented his cig money was being used for *gasp* clothes for his off spring.
Anyway, there was a nice Columbia pink coat, rubber duckies and a cute dress -I was going to use for her 4 year old pictures.Otherwise I returned most of what was sent. It was either too large or "weather inappropriate" - meaning t-shirts , also they looked more for a 10 year old. So, back they went, along with all that underwear!! I am sure he meant well but he hasn't seen her in 7 months and really doesn't know her style!! UGH, men........maybe next time suggest a gift card?? I can buy her horses and string cheese that she loves with it.Thanks!!!
