Alison Your Trip Looked Wonderful. I Hope You Had A Wonderful Time. I Was Just Excited To Be Going To Vegas This Coming May But The Trip Has Been Cancelled For Now. Things Are Bound To Get Better. I Have Noticed I Am Not Losing Weight I Can Tell That I Am Getting Toner I Have All This New Muscle Ok Maybe It Isnt New But I Can See And Feel It Now. Brandy - Vegas is one of my dream trips. One day! Glad you are toning up :strong:. Isn't it so nice to be able to see the changes!! My weight hasn't moved in about a week - gonna have to take measurements because with what I'm eating and how often I'm exercising, my weight should be dropping, even a little bit. WTG Tea - that's awesome :carrot: . Keep it up and it will come off (just have to convince myself of that LOL). CJ - computers can be such a PITA. Have a good day despite paying bills, I did that on Sunday. Thanks for the well wishes too - you know, that cold, lasted almost 11 days start to finish. I didn't think it was ever going away!! Mel - your anniversary dinner sounds great. My weakness is pizza :jeno: too and one of my only reasons for not liking Atkins, but I discovered a LC recipe the other day. I can't remember what plan you're on, but if it's LC I can post the recipe if you would like. It was really good. Have a great day ladies!! |
Hi ya all ... how is everyone? Just popping in for a minute here as we are almost on our way out the door .. as soon as I get ready that is - lol. I still haven't changed back to my good computer yet .. been too busy and want to be able to take my time when I start putting all my data back on.

Keep it up - I need to practice what I preach! lol Allison: Sounds like you had a great time on your trip - checked out your pics they were fabulous! gonnabe: glad your cold is finally over .. when I had mine a couple months ago it lasted well over a month! I think hubby was ready to take me to the hospital at one time ... it really hit me bad. Don't worry about your weight not dropping .. it will probably drop all at once - just keep up the good work - don't give up! We do have a healthy recipes thread on here - Why don't you post your LC recipes on it for us all. Or, anyone that has any type of healthy recipes please feel free to post them. Allensmom: Good luck at your cookie exchange .. don't eat too many now. I know you will do well. And in the event that you "slip up" just pick yourself back up again! I'm sure you will be fine. Brandy: Sorry your trip to Vegas had to be cancelled ... that is a really grand place to be. Of course, you can ask Sharon (Sassy) she knows how I love to gamble. We used to go to Vegas every year but haven't been there in the last 10 years. Now where we are we are surrounded by Casinos within driving distance .. As a matter of fact, we were there last week and I won $1,300.00! We may go again tonite ... if the snow is not too bad that is. Right now we have about 2 feet and it is still coming down and where we are going got really hammered last nite. I love pizza too and when I am really really good on my low carb eating I will eat only the toppings and leave the crust! But that crust is sooooooo good isn't it? I know I haven't been around much, and for that I'm sorry. I've really tried to cut down on my computer time as the holidays roll around. It just seems like I don't have enough time in the day to get stuff done. I had been going on 4 mile walks 4 times a week until a few weeks ago when I got a nasty cold and then passed it to Nico. CJ, I'm sure you remember in March when he was hopitalized with pneumonia, so I started to freak out and watch him like a hawk. The last thing I want is my son back in the hospital. I do plan on joining WW next week so that I can jump start my weight loss ...again. Well, I've got to run. Nico is having a coughing fit. A big hug to all of you who remember me! |
CJ - there are just never enough hours in the day! You know I posted yesterday about finally being over that cold. Last night, I start getting a sore throat (again) and I'm thinking to myself..."no way, I just got over this, I just finished telling everyone I was better". Sure enough I woke up this morning, sore throat, hard to swallow (feels swollen), my sinus's are about to explode. Unbelieveable. The only difference so far is that it's not in my chest as well (and I don't have TOM on top of it :s: ) So, am going to take the day off from exercising and just relax. See if taking it easy for the day will clear this up quickly!
:jeno: I'll post that LC pizza recipe. It looks like a lot of work, but it really isn't..and the base/crust, isn't the typical quichey texture/taste you think it would be. It actually tastes like a crust - albeit a soft one so I had to use a fork to eat it. Sylvia - I don't know how old Nico is, but I totally understand how scary it is when your kids get something as serious as pneumonia. My 6 y/o has been in the hospital or emergency care unit 3 times with pneumonia...the 1st time when he was 14 months old! Hope Nico doesn't get it again! :hug: Well, weight's still not budged and my numbers have gone.....UP????????? I'm not 100% sure on those measurements tho...it's really difficult to measure yourself :o . My 4 y/o's Personal Aid is off now till Jan. 9...maybe I'll ask her to help me when she gets back. Hopefully by then, I'll have lost enough weight/inches that I won't be too embarrased to have her do it :lol: ;). Hope everyone is having a GREAT day. The weather here is insane so going to try to get up my outside lights today. A few days ago it was in the -20's & -30's and today it's going to be on the plus size of 0 and tomorrow they're calling for +10. Gee...wonder why I've been sick :lol:. |

Good Morning All The Weather Here Is Bad And Turning To Worse As We Speak. Lots Of Freezing Rain And Accidents. Working For A Transportation Company I Have To Be On Top Of The Road Conditions And All. Im Still Sick Have Been For Over A Week I Feel Like My Lungs Are Gonna Come Out Of My Mouth When I Cough. Yuck!!

It is very cold here too. And now, thanks to my brother, my daughter is sick. She's running a fever, coughing, sneezing, runny nose, the works. I'm just hoping I don't get sick. I just got into my exercise, healthy eating, weight loss groove and I don't want anything to mess with it just yet. I'm trying to have as little contact with her as possible which is pretty hard when she is two years old. Ay ay ay!

it is SOOOOO cold here! YUCK! I hate winter!
My son has been screaming almost all day and I'm about to pull my hair out b/c I have no clue what is wrong with him! DH is desperatly trying to calm him, but with hopeless efforts! CJ- I prepared myself for the pary by eating very light yesterday. I didn't eat too much, but I had 3 cookies today. Bad! Bad! Hopefully my hubby will eat them all for me! Everyone please PRAY like crazy that my kiddo stops wailing! I think I'm going deaf! |

Well it is nice here...I went to the dr and had my thyroid problems checked out again, they discovered that my thyroid isnt making enough hormone anymore (AGAIN). So they have upped my meds. I feel better...not quite as tired today...

I'm down to 180! Yay! You all should've seen my happy dance this morning after I weighed myself!
Losing 10lbs by the 31st is gonna be cinch! I'm super excited! Yay! |
