Happy Sunday,Flowers!
We've had snow flurries this morning . . . it's May and our weather feels more like November with another cold and windy day. The poor flowers are looking pretty ratty. I slept in until 8:30 this morning and I rarely do that; I must have needed the extra sleep. I plan to make a Wal Mart and grocery store run later this afternoon. The washer and dryer are both running to catch up with me being gone yesterday. I have a pile of ironing to attack too. :( Maggie -- The grill sounds like a good idea! Where did you happen to find that? DH loves to travel the back roads the only problem being we are usually facing a time crunch so don't do it too often. Iowa just raised the interstate speed limit to 70 and most are already driving 80+ as it is. Supposedly the fines will increase to bring in much needed revenue and troopers will stop speeders at 71 mph. They just cut the number of troopers in the state and so what's wrong with this picture? DUH! I hope you will have internet access along the way, to keep in touch with us. ;) Gloria -- How nice to see you today! :D Maddy puts a tight grip on Kolby when she gives him hugs and kisses! Yesterday she was putting stickers in his hair . . . I can hardly wait until he gets mobile and then to watch the fun! That is a cute story about your grandson -- that sounds like a great project for kids. I need to make a grocery list and get going. Have a nice "rest of the day!" Jean -- from Iowa! |

GOOD AFTERNOON MAGNOLIAS ON THIS FRIST DAY OF MAY
What a beautiful day it is too. Not anything new to report but the same ole stuff ~ weighing everything that is to to into the MH. That includes our bodies. Just think when I lose a bunch of weight I can replace it with something I may want along the way. A pound is a pound and we are only allowed so many of those. GLORIA good to see you. I would love to come see Cape Cod. Reminds me of that old song . . . if your fond of sand doons and salty air... I love the beach and ocean. I sure miss not living just a short walk from the Pacific. JEAN I found that grill in Camping World catalogue. You can go to their web site and shop there or request a catalogue mailed to you. www.campingworld.com They have all kinds of things for camping and RV's. They also have some things that are catalogue or web only and not found in their stores. They have a store that is about 3 hours drive from here and if we had to have anything installed it would be convienent to go there. Have a wonderful May Day folks. |
