I am so sorry to hear about the daughter that passed away with cancer. I have a 13 year old son. And a dad that is going through chemo from colon cancer. Certainly not the same situation, but my heart goes out to you. Bet that 8 year old keeps you busy though! I have a 9 year old daughter. What a blessing! You had them all spread out! What does your 25 year old do?

Kim- Yeah, Haggard...but Merle pretty much raised him growing up-he was good friends with Dales Mom....it's a much different life than Im used to- now my little one answers the phone and screams "DADDY! CHARLIE DANIELS IS ON THE PHONE!!" *blink*
Im just happy having him happy at home and not out on the road. Im sorry to hear about your Dad- it's just not fair is it.....
My 25 year old is just kinda pluggin along right now...works at sears and recently moved in with her BF of 6 years.....

Goddesskim~~I know what you mean about too much estrogen in one house...I have two daughters that are pre-teens, 10 and 11 (act more like full blown teenagers, lots of bickering and fighting over typical teenager things). Not too mention I have one female dog, 3 female cats and 2 female hamsters. So that leaves one male husband (yep, he is a male! Ha ha), and his lone male companion--our German Shepherd Max. I have such a zoo--but I wouldn't have it any other way!

Lynn~~Yes, it would be fun to get on the chat room and do some real time chatting. Good idea...Lord knows we must have a lot to say with nearly 60 posts in single day! We are hot! I have one word to motivate you right now HAWAII baby! Keep that in your head. I keep doing the same thing with my Vegas trip...I want to be confident in a bathing suit. Know what I mean!!? You can do it....toss the cookies! There will be NO MORE cookies as long as you can't control yourself. Ya hear!

Marie~~So sorry to hear about your loss, I can only imagine your heartache. I am happy to hear that you have the blessing of the feisty red-head to help heal your heart. Sounds like you are in a happy place now with a loving hubby to keep you smiling as well! Pretty exciting to have a connection to those big names in country--but as you indicated, to him its just his family and we are all "just people" in this thing we call life. I think we are all connected in some way, at least I would like to think so. By the way, you are right--your kitty/dog picture surely makes you laugh. Speaking of funny animal photos and such, I came across the funniest cat book when I was browsing in a Barnes & Noble recently and came across this funny book called "Bad Cat: 244 Not-So-Pretty Kitties And Cats Gone Bad". It was the type of book that makes you laugh out loud--silly stuff. I didn't remember that whole book title by the way--I had to go look it up in Amazon. Me and my daughter cracked up looking at it.

Kim~~Just think all that soreness is your muscles getting stronger on those walks, and you know the more muscles you have the more fat your burn...and so on! Keep it up!

KAREN~~ <<laughing>>> house full of estrogen here too.. two teen daughters, female dog, cat, and bird. We also had a female duck we lost last month... LOL...Thanx for the kick in the pants about hawaii. It is our dream vacation and I had to pull alot of strings to do this!! Two whole glorious weeks and I want to look good!!! I see alot of the summer clothing out now and I'm like... urghhhhhh nothing fits.. I'm in a 14/16 now I'd like to be at least a 12 by then.. MARIE~~How in the world did you get the dog and cat to pose that way??????? That is too funny. I have a siberian husky that loves my cat ( would love to eat her) and the cat knows it. (dogs pic is in my profile) Eight long years I've had this dog and they just don't get along. The cat sees the dog and lets out a hiss like you wouldn't believe.

Tomorrow my goals are to drink all of my water, walk 2 miles and stay within pts.. toss the cookies and BEHAVE!!
Jamie was suppose to come home from school tonight but decided to stay because she is going out with mike. She is still depressed over her breakup with matt and has lost 18 pounds ( she couldn't afford to lose a pound) I'm getting alittle worried, but hubby says it will pass. sigh..... You don't want your kids to hurt and you wish you could take it away, but heartache is part of life....
I'm going to watch ER and dream about broccoli... LOL
