Hey Chickies!
OH 2FRUS! I absolutely LOVED seeing the pic of you and your tiny London friends. LOL You look magnificent, Girl! GOAPE looks like a ton of fun....wonder if we have anything like that around here?! Can't wait to hear all about the wedding and see the pics!! Hope your Special Day was the very best it could be! It's been very windy here....too windy to ride! We did get out on our boat for a little while on Saturday, but had to pretty much stay in the river because there were white caps on the lakes. Got some cruise sun tho....and that was my goal. Down another pound I'm happy to say....and feeling pretty damn good about it too! I am trying on my cruise clothes today and many of them are too big! YAY! I'm happy to take less stuff and leave that big crap at home! Less than 2 weeks now 'til we sail on the 19th! Hope I can lose a couple more by then. Glad to read that everyone is doing well....HELLO to Holly, Harley, Gina, Star, Reb and everyone! |
Hey ladies...
2fru- Congratulations on your wedding day. I bet you looked gorgeous! Can't wait to see the pics. Jill- Congrats on another pound lost! Yippee! Gina- Yippee to you, too! You're so close to your goal. I hope that everyone had a fun, relaxing weekend. We didnt do too much. We've both been sick with cold/sinus trouble for the past week, so we've opted to not ride the bikes until all that junk clears up. I'm STILL trying to get my diet back into control. Have a great week chicks! Hi Holly, Trina, HarleyMom!!! |
Hey chicks! Very busy Monday. Congrats on the loss Gina and Jill! Hey to every one and Keep on Keep'n on all you hot biker babes!
|
:coffee: Mornin' BikerBabes! :coffee:
I've revised my goals a little....I'm losing, but sooooooo s-l-o-w-l-y and I don't want to get discouraged. Thanks for the kudos and encouragement....I love getting support from you guys. It keeps me going! Just 10 days til my cruise and I'd love to lose 2 more pounds. Luckily, the gal we're going with is also doing WeightWatchers, so hopefully we won't go totally bananas at the buffet! ;) :D :dizzy:  It would be nice to come home at the same weight that I leave with! Don't faint....but I'm actually thinking about checking out the ships gym :joker: ...I hear it's fabulous with walls of oceanview windows looking out onto that incredible turquoise water! If I do, maybe it will actually light my exercise fire. Don't hold me to it tho, Chicks....you all know how I hate exercise!!! Have a Great Day, Ladies! |
Jill if your going to excersise that sounds like the way to do it. I am so jealous of you! I want to go on a cruise. I am so tried right now it would be so much fun. Anyhow enjoy your self and think about us biker babes while your gone, or maybe not!
Hope everyone is having a fantastic day and Keep on Keep'n on Chicks! |

Well....click here and book yourself one! Then start saving your money to pay for it! You don't have to pay for it in full until you're about 90 days out. There's a full refund of your deposit if you change your mind before you pay for it in full....then after you pay for it, most of it's refundable if you change your mind as long as you've purchased the travel insurance. The Grand Princess is a gorgeous ship with a good cruise out of Galveston. You can also search the Princess website for other embarkation ports (like San Francisco)...just depending on what's the easiest one for you to get to. I'm the lucky one....I can DRIVE to 5 ports! |
Thanks for the link! I am planning a cruise next october. The entire family is going. It should be a blast. Not sure what we will be doing yet, but I will keep you posted on that.
Cold here to day it was 79 deg yesterday and today it is like 40 deg. What the heck? If you don't like the weather in Colorado wait a few hours and it will change. I am off for Veterians day so three day weekend! Keep on Keep'n on chicks. |
That's Super Cruise News, HarleyMom!! YAY! :congrat: Yes...keep me posted on what you decide to do. We absolutely LOVE Princess.....what a great cruise line! It's being treated like Royalty :queen: for a week by many smiling faces. Their crews are very happy! :goodvibes
Sunny and mild here today....about 75 with sunny skies. Same for tomorrow and HH is off work....so off we'll go on our bike. Destination to be determined, but I'm sure it will be to some kinda water. I'm voting for the Beach! :flow2: |
OMG!! I had a DISASTROUS ride on my bike yesterday  It was humiliating. Dh and I went riding around town. Probably not the greatest idea since I'm new at this. Anyhow I got to not one but 2 crowded intersections and killed the bike and could not get that piece of poo moving. I had cars honking, people hollering at me. I finally got it home and cried buckets of tears. I told dh never again. This isn't for me. Well, we got talking (over some beer and tequila) and I decided I really don't want to quit. I was just so frustrated with myself. So we decided to scale our rides back to side streets closer to home and less busy streets until I take the class this spring. So, today we get out for another ride on the side streets and I keep killing again. Dh finally gets off his bike and comes over to me to calm me down (I was getting pi**ed!!!) and he discovered that I was trying to take off in 2nd gear, I was shifting up instead of down. Do you know that made a world of difference after that?! Gosh dam. What an IDIOT I am!!!!!! LOL  I amazingly didn't stall it any more after that revelation. Basically, I think that I got my confidence back and feel like I can ride this bike now. I'm just glad that we figured out what the problem was now. As for those people honking and yelling...they can kiss my big @ss. I'm trying!!:D
Anyhow, just had to share my experience! Have a great Friday, girls! |
Gosh Reb....I'll bet you were pizzed! But at least you figured out what the heck you were doing to stall it. Now you're ready to Go, Girl! Get out there and show those azzs who yelled and honked!!
Down a pound this morning.....YAY! Check out my ticker!!!! YIPPEEEEEE! This logging in of every morsal of food is really working for me. It really makes me stop and THINK before I stuff my face! Makes me think I'll try to eat mostly veggies and other good carbs on the cruise because I REALLY don't want start all over again when I get home. I hope, hope, hope I can keep that thought when I'm at that incredible international buffet!!!!! I'll try to by-pass the dessert table! This morning we're riding to the Beach.....over to New Smyrna and Flagler Beaches...a beautiful ride where A1A is right along the ocean with no buildings to screw up the view! I think it's the prettiest ride on the entire east coast of Florida. Have a great weekend, Chicks! |
Tgif
Morning Biker Babes,
Thank Lord it's Friday......I'm ready. Been trying to stay on a good eating plan. Was sick on Monday and Tuesday, hubby and I had a stomach thing.....yuck:devil: We bought two Sh1tzu puppies last weekend, males, 9 wks old, the black one is Bubba and the black/wht one is Baby...they are adorable. They excel in peeing everywhere but on the paper. Hoping with time they will learn to go on the dang paper.......After the second day we had them hubby had a change of heart and thought we had biten off more than we could chew and called the breeder to take them back. She said her husband wouldn't be back til next Tuesday and she didn't have the money, well now I think mine has had a change of heart and we'll keep them. Reb - That kind of riding stuff happens to the (later on) best riders, get back on and keep going. Try riding out in the country, it's nicer, less azzholes and less traffic......That's where I learned the second lifetime around...lol:bike: Holly - Did I tell you I love your new ride? Your looking as hot as ever and sounds like as busy as usual......Big  to you! hey Chicks, I have to run, Happy riding to all and have a great weekend. |
Hey Star and Jill!! Thanks for the encouragement over my riding fiasco...
Star- We bought a Shih Tzu puppy last year after my senior citizen terrier mix passed away. His name is Tuffy and he is totally devoted to me. LOL. He's a handful, but always entertaining. Sometimes between him and his cat-brother Dh and I wonder if we can handle kids.:dizzy: They are always into something and then they get scrappin' with each other...just like typical little boys. There are the times when they cuddle with each and are just dolls. Tuffy is paper trained and that really seemed to work for him. When we got him it was snowy and he was terrified of walking in deep snow, so the papers just worked for us. Plus, there are weekends when we aren't home much and he can take care of business on his own. Makes life a ton simpler! Hang in there, girl! Jill- WOW!!!! 1 pound to go!! Yeah for you!!! I'm sure that you'll do great on your cruise. I am shockingly enjoying exercise.:?: I got an ipod last weekend and I am loving to go out walking (2 miles) and working up a sweat. It's so great to have that "me" time. I am also making some good eating choices. I don't about this new chick I'm becoming, but I like her!:D Hi to HarleyMom, Holly and Gina! Have a fabulous weekend! |
Hey Chicks! Hope all had a great weekend. Star two puppies wow! That is a lot of work. My son got a bull mastef that is cute as a button but wow what a lot of work she is. She is huge and thinks she is a lap dog. Too funny.
Jill you go girl. You really have done great the last few weeks. Have loads of fun on that cruise. Reb tell them all to kiss your grits and keep riding you'll get the hang of it. Gina, Holly, 2 frus (how was the big day?) and anyone else have a great day and keep on keep'n on! |
Rebel - Thanks for the two cents on my new babies. And your baby Tuffy (funny name for Sh1tzu). And my puppy is Baby, but he is for sure the trouble maker of the two, mean, agreesive and bad. On the other hand, we have husbands choice, Bubba, cute, cuddly, sweet, quiet. I told husband we should have named them Devil and Angel....lol
My friend also has two sh1tzu's and she said the same about paper training them, and I think this is the norm for the breed, becuz they really don't like the cold or wet weather and they are just too short. Besides I can see totally how the paper will be more convieient for us when we are gone....... Nothing to report about diet or exercise...sorry girls, I'm a loser. Oh, not a good loser, a bad loser....maybe I'll snap out of it soon..... |
