Prudence and fortitude - 3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community

Todays proper attributes are prudence and fortitude. In the league we believe these are very important. I know none of you carry these traits, but I thought I'd mention that you not only are fat, but you also lack character.
I'm in a rush today. I've heard the rumblings about my size. Let me tell you. I may be a size one, but I think having a little bootie is good. I'm not shooting for a zero. I feel it would not be prudent.

Are we ever going to get around to losing or even loosing weight? I've got to do something. I've gained approximately 20 lbs. since November.

I can't get over the shock of how skinny Bagzie is. I haven't gone walking in over a week. I made rice krispie treats last night and od'd on them. I bought a cappucino w/ whole milk this morning and 3 Lindor truffles for breakfast. I'm sure Letty and Marcella would have some advice for me.

On the domestic front - I'm making my kids start to pay for their own car insurance and I'm using the money on a cleaning service. I'm tired of the maid of the house - cleaning martyr persona.

I managed a rental house for some friends once upon a time. Never never again. Don't do it, you'll hate it.

I'm with you Wabby, this weight thing ain't lookin good. First of all, you can stop putting whole milk in your cappy. Then I'll go walking with you. Tonight I'm making chili for dinner, but I'll have a salad with it, okey dokey?
Good for you for collecting some maid money, too.

Letty, blow it out your little teensy shorts. My 13 yo daughter who is tall, slim and gorgeous is a size 5. Therefore that makes you at size 1 approximately the equivalent of a straightened out paper clip.

Thank you ever so, Wabby, for directing me to the right spot. Although I must say it is quicker for me to retrieve e-mail than get into this place.
I'm FREEZING in my basement. Someone find me a house with a nice upstairs loft for my own personal office.
Oh, Marcella and Letty--you'd love my new polish--pink and very metallic. I may be borderline obese, but boy-howdy, I can grow a nice set of nails. How was Laura, Letty--engaging? Apparently she tells Dubya not to be charming and debonair before his every speaking engagement. So that's why.
Frappe says don't be a landlord. I think it would be troublesome.
I am exercising...fortitude and prudence only, however. Applied for a job as an HR flunkie at a major polluter today. If you can't beat O & G, you join them and enjoy fabulous benefits. The plus: they have a branch office very close to my home. Sigh. Say a prayer, cows.

Laura was just as we expected. She was wonderful. She is a tad heavy, but what can we say.
Kiwi, your DD is adorable......gorgeous. Naturally, Marcella and I do not advocate losing the remainder of the baby-fat until right before visiting Paris at 18, that is what our mothers did, what our sisters did and what we did. In the league, we value tradition.
Wabby, get some lettuce and syrup of ipecac. That should make the weight come off pretty quickly. If you need a treat, chocolate Ex-Lax. I'm savoring some right now.
Gotta run, Marcella and I have been chosen for the national committee to improve Laura's wardrobe. You would think that coming from the state that brought us Neiman Marcus would have helped her.

Kiwi, Darling, if my memory serves me, Marcella has dds. I believe two were co-prom-queens last year. But your dd, if GORGEOUS and BRILLIANT. Can she make a cherry pie?

Today I get a mammogram and a ultra sound of my tummy area. Everyone do the right thing prayer-vibe wise. Thank you very much.

This weekend ds goes on his first camping trip. Herbie ... who has wanting us to have time alone ... will spend 8-5 in a seminar on Saturday. I will sit here alone with my feet on his furniture.
