i am soooo tired of winter weather. i want warmth and to start walking outdoors again.
We had a lot of weather weirdness too. It was 60-70 degrees on Monday--I went out for a powerwalk/jog in short sleeves! Tuesday morning, when I got up to exercise at 5:15 a.m., I heard this weird sound outside and thought "That sounds like rain." Looked outside, and it was POURING rain. About an hour after I got to work, it turned to snow. People in my office who get in around 10 a.m. said that it was a total white-out...you could see the car in front of you and the car beside you and that's IT...almost zero visibility. Fortunately, because it was SO warm Monday, the snow didn't start sticking to the road right away. By 3-4 p.m., the snow was gone, the sun was shining, and you could barely tell it had snowed! the one i was doing was "walk strong" with toning intervals in it.
How do you like that one? What does she use for toning in the "Walk Strong" DVD? Hand weights? Stretchy bands? How long a workout is it?the one i was doing was "walk strong" with toning intervals in it.

then i decided to try some of the 4 mile xpress one. that is all cardio and you can stop at whatever mileage you want. i liked that one, it really worked up a good sweat.
I have six of Leslie's DVDs. The two I use (and like) the most are the 3-mile WATP w/stretchy bands and the 4-mile express. You're right--that 4-mile is a really good workout! Do you have the one that is a large class of women, quite a few "grandmas" and a 70something guy named Alton?then i decided to try some of the 4 mile xpress one. that is all cardio and you can stop at whatever mileage you want. i liked that one, it really worked up a good sweat.
I don't ever use the first 3 Leslie DVDs I bought...they are all from the 80s and the 4-mile walk in that set is terrible. Too much repetition.

thought i'd give us a bump up!
i am in a pickle regarding my parent's house now that my dad isn't here to maintain it and there is a lot of maintaining to do once the snow melts. i'm sure i'll get a lot of exercise then.
