Yep, you knew it was coming... a cell phone directory! The solicitors will use your minutes trying to sell you something at their convenience. If you want your number to be omitted from the directory, and placed on the Do Not Call list, you can sign up at the National Do Not Call site, sponsored by the Federal Trade Comminssion. The web site is www.donotcall.gov or call 1-888-382-1222. If you choose to phone it in, use the cell phone you will be registering. You will then be placed on the do not call list in a few hours, effective for 5 years.
