Thought I would start a food journal for anyone who would like to record their daily meals/snacks. Please feel free to post, regardless of what plan you are on. If you try a new recipe and would like to share with us, it can be posted here also.
OK ... I'll start with today's menu. I am doing lo-carb (not Atkins and not South Beach - just cutting out pastas, breads (except lo-carb wheat) and sweets/sugars.
my turn, cj me and you are doing about the same low carb thing.
breakfast
1 cup oatmeal
1 egg
lunch
club salad w/ blue cheese dressing
snack
2 white dinner rolls ( a no no
supper
chili w/ trisket crackers.
probably will have some cottage cheese for my night time snack
Oops, I missed posting my menu for Thursday ... hmmm, how did that happen? Oh well ... all I can say is I stayed OP all day! So here is my menu for Friday (yesterday) ...
Friday, November 19
Breakfast:
3 slices swiss cheese
2 coffees/blk
Lunch:
10 pork rinds
4 tbsp sour cream
1 cup green tea
(flavored/sweetened with Atkins sf syrup)
Dinner:
small order of sirloin tips w/mushrooms (only ate 1/2 or order)
1 small salad w/blue cheese dressing
1/4 cup green beans
2 coffees/blk
