TG DAILY FOOD JOURNAL - November




  • Thought I would start a food journal for anyone who would like to record their daily meals/snacks. Please feel free to post, regardless of what plan you are on. If you try a new recipe and would like to share with us, it can be posted here also.
  • OK ... I'll start with today's menu. I am doing lo-carb (not Atkins and not South Beach - just cutting out pastas, breads (except lo-carb wheat) and sweets/sugars.

    Tuesday, November 16

    Breakfast:
    2 eggs
    3 slices bacon
    2 slices lo-carb wheat toast/buttered
    2 coffee/blk

    Lunch:
    3 slices swiss cheese

    Snack:
    1 coffee/blk w/no-carb whipped cream

    Dinner:
    1 very large hotdog (just the hotdog - no bread)
    1/4 cup cottage cheese

    Snack:
    1 coffee/blk w/no-carb whipped cream
    about 10 macadamia nuts

    WATER: 80 oz
  • Wednesday, November 17

    Breakfast:
    2 coffee/blk

    Lunch:
    grilled cheese (made with lo-carb wheat bread)
    1 cup green tea

    Dinner:
    1/2 cheeseburger wrapped in wheat tortilla
    (with onion, lettuce, tomato)
    2 coffee/blk
    1 small salad w/blue cheese dressing

    Snack:
    1 lo-carb ice cream bar
    1 cup green tea


    WATER: 64 oz

    breakfast
    1 cup oatmeal
    1 egg
    lunch
    club salad w/ blue cheese dressing
    snack
    2 white dinner rolls ( a no no
    supper
    chili w/ trisket crackers.
    probably will have some cottage cheese for my night time snack

    lots and lots of water..
  • Oops, I missed posting my menu for Thursday ... hmmm, how did that happen? Oh well ... all I can say is I stayed OP all day! So here is my menu for Friday (yesterday) ...

    Friday, November 19

    Breakfast:
    3 slices swiss cheese
    2 coffees/blk

    Lunch:
    10 pork rinds
    4 tbsp sour cream
    1 cup green tea
    (flavored/sweetened with Atkins sf syrup)

    Dinner:
    small order of sirloin tips w/mushrooms (only ate 1/2 or order)
    1 small salad w/blue cheese dressing
    1/4 cup green beans
    2 coffees/blk

    Snack:
    1 low-carb ice cream bar

    WATER: 72 oz
  • Saturday, November 20

    Breakfast:
    2 coffee/blk
    2 small sf muffins

    Lunch:
    1 cup green tea
    5 pork rinds

    Dinner:
    2 slices low-carb bread
    1/4 cup chicken salad

    WATER: 80 oz
  • oops .. I missed Sunday's menu and yesterdays too! Honest, I was OP both days. Well, here's Mondays ...

    Monday, November 22
    Breakfast:
    3 slices swiss cheese
    2 coffee/blk

    Lunch:
    pork rinds (about 10)
    sour cream (2-3 tbsp)
    1 cup green tea

    Snack:
    1 low-carb ice cream bar

    Dinner:
    1 spinach salad w/bacon & chicken w/hot bacon dressing
    1 coffee/blk

    WATER: 80 oz
