Hello again!

Errands are all done and I'm home again. Well I've been home for awhile. I was starving!! lol.. I skipped breakfast since I was on the computer forever and then lost electricity and then back on the computer to re-post, shower etc... went and paid that bill, dropped off those movies and came home, so I was shaking I was so hungry when I got home. So the kids had ramen noodles and I had leftovers from last night, it filled me up and now I just feel tired, so maybe I'll catch a nap after posting.

Crystal, I can only imagine how hard it would be to homeschool. We had thought about it right after Ava was born but now I know I want them in public school, at least through out elementary anyway.

Jill, that happened to me one time!!! I lose my bra! I was looking all over for it and I knew I put it on my bed next to my outfit and it dissapeared!! Then 1/2 hr later as I was getting really frustrated dh starts chuckling and pulls it out from somewhere, he had hid it, lol. He liked to see me losing my mind! LOL... But yes I misplace things all the time too. Will you be wacthing LOST tonight?? I can't wait to see that show! It has great reviews so far. And what do you mean you'll have your hair weaved?? Do you mean extensions added or something?? And of course that macaroni casserole is core, lol... do I make anything else? lol. It's not a cheesy one... more like a gr. beef and tomatoe one. But I'll let you know how it comes out.

Mel, congrats on joining the gym! How often do you plan on going? and I can't wait to see some pics of you!

Deana, you were definitely blonde! LOL... I was very blonde for my bf's wedding a couple years ago. You look very 80's in that pic! How old were you? I was only 7 when you got married then! ;) and I may try to take a pic of my other pictures with my digital camera, I just have to figure out how to turn the flash off because it makes a glare on the photo I'm taking the picture of.

ok, 2nd QOTD--- I would have to say I'm very proud of myself for many things other than my kids and family. I am a survivor of child abuse. I also am a survivor of my family, lol... I stand up for what I believe in and I'm pretty proud of that. I'm sure there are other accomplishments to be mentioned but those are the two that came to mind when I saw the question.

Spryng although a weave does mean hair extensions too it also means that I will be getting 2 colors in my hair, it's not all hightlights or dye so they call it a weave cuz they weave the color throughout your natural color! LOL I had to laugh when you said that cuz I knew someone would! I've been waiting to get it done all summer so I am pretty excited. I used to get it done often when I was working but don't really have the money now, so with the school loan money coming in I always do a few things for myself and the rest goes to savings. Anyway glad you got some food and got some things done. I wish I could blame this shirt thing on my dh but he's not home! I'm still losing my mind over it! So annoying! I'll look for it later.

Hi all. I'm awake from over an hour nap. My contacts are still trying to straighten up. Got the pot of beans going and when Andrew wakes up I'll vaccum and get the other load of laundry started.
Sounds like everyone is having a good day and if I don't get much done today, that's okay. I'm going to have a big, big dinner and I'm thinking about making some brownies and I've got to brew tea. I just found out dh is on his way home and that always screws up my regular routine.

OKay ladies, I am just finishing a flylady challenge, and unfortunatley, I have to get going to the girls house! THis is the last night and there are some things that I need to get them all straight on, as well as get dinner going, etc. ;) I probably won't post tonight again, however, I hope you all have a great evening and I will see you all in the moring and then I will be around more, but not on the weekends, lol! :lol: whe dh is home we have tons to do, especially since sydneys party is the 3rd, we have to get stuff done this weekend for it! :) Love to you all! Tackled Mt Washmore today. I swear it multiplied overnight. There wasn't that much yesterday.

I think Cindi suggested drinking water from the water bottles. Great idea. I just keep refilling my bottle from my Britta pitcher and I have downed 4 of them already today and haven't had supper yet... so that's about 64 oz already. For some reason I drink it faster than if it's in my mug.

I'm 99% sure that I'll take that job. I'll be a ton busier but Dh will have some pressure off of him to make all the money :lol: . Just need to find someone for daycare. I think I remember my neighbor talking about someone she knows...I'll have to ask her.

OK, need to get the boys outside since it's another gorgeous 80 degree plus day here. We have had better weather in September than any other month this summer! Sad, but I'll take it.

Grrrrr! Something's wrong with my computer :( I'm using DH's now to log on. Actually, it's only my internet browser that is not working. But that's really weird. I tried everything . . . first aid, rebooting, etc. And I purposely got a mac to have fewer problems.
I'll come back soon- want to see what DH is doing to my computer :)

SPRYNG: Thanks for making me feel sooooooooo OLD!!! I had just turned 20 in that picture. And I only weighed 135....ahh pregnancy and the things it will do to a body... :mad: .

Thank you all for the compliments about my wedding pics. Oh how I wish I still looked like I did in 1987. But then again I wouldn't be here and have made so many friends. Nor would I have my children.

Everyone's pictures are just too cool. I even saved them so I can see what you all look like without having to find the posts.

I want to get personal but can barely remember anything today. I need to get supper started. Always earlier on days dh has to work. I've been working on laundry all day, I think I see a dent in it.... :dizzy: . I promise I will get more personal later but I couldn't let Spryng get away with making me feel OLD!!! ;)
I suppose most of you were teenagers or younger??? :lol: I'll just keep thinking that it means I am more experienced at some things and will also die sooner than the rest of you..... :cry: . Oh how I love you gals. :love:

Well supper isn't cooking itself today, no crockpot today, so I better get with it or dh may have to starve.....lol.

Good Evening Ladies! I just got finished with dinner and have about thirty minutes before I have to get ready. They started a new meeting for 4 and 5 year olds at the church called Mission Kids and my son really enjoys it. We have an amazing program for the kids at our church and after they built the new sanctuary they devoted the old sanctuary to the kids, its so funny b/c they named it KFC.. I started giggling b/c I was thinking about fried chicken, but it actually stands for Kids For Christ. I thought that was such a neat idea!

Jill: I am so glad you made that comment about not having a good feeling about going to the gym. I've had bad feelings about things too. I'll be driving along and for some unknown reason I'll take a way I don't usually go and I feel had I taken the route I usually go that something bad would happen! I use to get those feelings alot as a teenager when some friends would want to go places that I didn't feel good about going. I would make up a lame excuse and stay home, most of the time nothing happened but there were times when I got on my knees and thanked God that I stayed home!

Penny: Hey girl, sorry I didnt' get a chance to get up with you today. I just mostly piddled around the house and played with my son today. Did you do Flylady today? LOL

Crystal: I also thought one time about homeschooling my son, its so scary the things that goes on in not only public but private schools as well. I guess I'll just wait and see how next year goes and then make a decision. We do have some pretty good schools around us so hopefully it will work out.

Chris: That is a huge accomplishment, after seeing my mom go through a divorce from my dad I could never have imagined how hard it was for her. She worked so hard to do the best she could for me and my sister while my dad was living in a three story house with his "new" woman. My mom is my hero!!!

Mel: Way to go on the gym membership! I need to join one bad, but right now I am going to have to wait atleast until after January. Money is always tight this time of the year b/c of Christmas and our annual Florida trip in January. I'll probably start back work part time sometime in November. I told dh I'm only going to work 20 hrs a week max!

Sorry if I didn't get to everyone, but you are all in my thoughts! :) Only 2 more days till the weekend! Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!!!!

QOTD #2: My biggest accomplishment besides my family would have to be graduating from nursing school this past July. That was the hardest thing I've ever done. It tested me as a wife, mother, and person in general. There were times when I was so overwhelmed I would just lock myself in the bathroom and cry for hours. But I always managed to build a bridge and get over it! On my graduation day I was shocked and moved to tears when they called my name as Valedictorian! I knew then that all my hard work had paid off, especially when I saw how proud my family was of me.

It worked!
 

Betcha can't guess who that is!! LOL!!! Now to find one of me I'd like to share! I don't do many now, but I have some skinnier ones to share with you I guess.

Christian's appt went well, got him some expensive custom made ear plugs for when he takes his baths. He doesn't get many alone, so I worry his mean sister might dunk him or something.

I have eaten much better today, but am playing catch up on the water.

All of you have such beautiful pics, I don't have wedding pics, we went to the JP to get hitched. We are both shy and hated the thought of a big crowd and all the hoopla.

I'm in the dark on all that, but I'm drinking water like crazy. Up to 66 oz. I need to get it all done before 8 or I'll be spending my whole night in the bathroom instead of sleeping.

www.flylady.net Check it out. It's a system we all use(loosely, LOL) to get organized. We do 15 minute challenges on Yahoo IM to clean house etc. You should join us.

We also have a moms losing weight group on msn. Don't have the link handy, but someone will post it soon I am sure.
