Good Evening Ladies! I just got finished with dinner and have about thirty minutes before I have to get ready. They started a new meeting for 4 and 5 year olds at the church called Mission Kids and my son really enjoys it. We have an amazing program for the kids at our church and after they built the new sanctuary they devoted the old sanctuary to the kids, its so funny b/c they named it KFC.. I started giggling b/c I was thinking about fried chicken, but it actually stands for Kids For Christ. I thought that was such a neat idea!

Jill: I am so glad you made that comment about not having a good feeling about going to the gym. I've had bad feelings about things too. I'll be driving along and for some unknown reason I'll take a way I don't usually go and I feel had I taken the route I usually go that something bad would happen! I use to get those feelings alot as a teenager when some friends would want to go places that I didn't feel good about going. I would make up a lame excuse and stay home, most of the time nothing happened but there were times when I got on my knees and thanked God that I stayed home!

Penny: Hey girl, sorry I didnt' get a chance to get up with you today. I just mostly piddled around the house and played with my son today. Did you do Flylady today? LOL

Crystal: I also thought one time about homeschooling my son, its so scary the things that goes on in not only public but private schools as well. I guess I'll just wait and see how next year goes and then make a decision. We do have some pretty good schools around us so hopefully it will work out.

Chris: That is a huge accomplishment, after seeing my mom go through a divorce from my dad I could never have imagined how hard it was for her. She worked so hard to do the best she could for me and my sister while my dad was living in a three story house with his "new" woman. My mom is my hero!!!

Mel: Way to go on the gym membership! I need to join one bad, but right now I am going to have to wait atleast until after January. Money is always tight this time of the year b/c of Christmas and our annual Florida trip in January. I'll probably start back work part time sometime in November. I told dh I'm only going to work 20 hrs a week max!

Sorry if I didn't get to everyone, but you are all in my thoughts! :) Only 2 more days till the weekend! Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!!!!

QOTD #2: My biggest accomplishment besides my family would have to be graduating from nursing school this past July. That was the hardest thing I've ever done. It tested me as a wife, mother, and person in general. There were times when I was so overwhelmed I would just lock myself in the bathroom and cry for hours. But I always managed to build a bridge and get over it! On my graduation day I was shocked and moved to tears when they called my name as Valedictorian! I knew then that all my hard work had paid off, especially when I saw how proud my family was of me.

It worked!
 

Betcha can't guess who that is!! LOL!!! Now to find one of me I'd like to share! I don't do many now, but I have some skinnier ones to share with you I guess.

Christian's appt went well, got him some expensive custom made ear plugs for when he takes his baths. He doesn't get many alone, so I worry his mean sister might dunk him or something.

I have eaten much better today, but am playing catch up on the water.

All of you have such beautiful pics, I don't have wedding pics, we went to the JP to get hitched. We are both shy and hated the thought of a big crowd and all the hoopla.

Okay, I'm back. Still using DH's computer :( We're going to have to bring my computer into the repair place tomorrow or Friday. I'm so frustrated. Well, except this way they can figure out what's wrong and then it will run like new (hopefully!)

Amy- maybe you can buy yourself just 2-4 basic mix and match things to get you through the weight transition. Also, that might keep you motivated to lose even more! LOL- KFC hee hee!

Spryng- I also thought Crystal had lighter hair. At first I thought she was blonde, but then one time she told me she wasn't, but I still pictured her hair lighter- like light brown or something :) But I totally cannot picture you a blonde either!

QOTD 2: Hmm. I also had to think hard about this one LOL. I would say getting my doctorate (PhD). That was extremely difficult and I did it in 3 years . . . THe day I defended my dissertation I felt like I was on top of the world and made everyone call me "doctor" for a few months LOL.

Hey dinner in the oven and wanted to post while baby is napping, boy was she a bear just now!! She took a 2.5 hour nap earlier and then ran into town with me and mom and did nothing but sit in her seat but she is sure tired now! Anyway I've been wanting to share this story with you guys for a couple of days and have forgotten to. So here goes, anyway my mom shared this website with her sister a couple of days ago since she is on SBD and thought my aunt might benefit from it. So my mom told her what the website was and she wrote back and said "DONT GO TO fatchicks.com IT IS THE MOST DISGUSTING PORN SITE EVER!! I was ROFLMAO!!!! She then says "I'll make sure and remember the 3 next time! So funny and I thought I would share with ya so don't forget to put the 3 in ok?!! So anyway my mom and I went to Albertsons and we got some sf ff jelly bellys and they were pretty good, really sweet though and they have a warning that if you eat too many you could have stomach cramps so I only ate like 12. I think I should be ok! LOL I found my tank top!!!! I was telling my mom exactley what I had done and then I remembered I had laid both items on my dryer before I put them on and it slipped between the washer and dryer! Thank goodness I was losing my mind!!! LOL So that's the end of that mystery!

Leigh sorry about your computer!! That really stinks! At least you have another one you can use. Gut feelings are so weird. Bayley has little traits that both dh and I have but I would have to say that her blond hair and blue eyes def. comes from my dh's side of the family. His mom has blue eyes and a couple of his sister have blond hair. My immediate family all have brown hair and brown eyes.

hmmmmm why don't I answer my own QOTD: I think what I am most proud of is pluggin along with school even though I have wanted to quit so many times. I have kept the big picture in focus and although I have a taken 1 term off here and there I have still been enrolled every year since I graduated. I will finally be done with my bachelors this year and I feel so motivated to get it done, I have never had that feeling before and I think I owe most of it to you all! You make me feel like I have it in me to continue. And I know you all will be here for me when I need you. Not that I don't get that from my family but it's different you know! Anyway that is mine!

Amy I totally agree about those weird feelings you get! I've gotten them before too and sometimes I have glimpses of bad things that happen and then they do! It's creepy! I don't get them too often so I don't worry about it too much. That's great about completing nursing school and being valedvictorian! Good Job!!

Saw everyone's pics on the msn site. I have faces for the names. And talk about adorable children. I was going to put some pics on the 'puter but me being the airhead, I erased them. Not sure how, but I did. I also checked out the flylady web. I'm going to have to check that one out better. Its hard to read things with the normal bickering and stuff going on with the little ones.

Everyone will be happy to know that I did not have to watch the Barbie dvd today. My "loving" hubby bought the Lion King on Monday when he was home with the kids. Now you can all guess how many times I have to watch that a day.

QOTD #2: I think I would have to say that one thing I am proud of myself for is making the decision to get rid of my live-in in order to be with Scott. I was miserable working all the time to support him and 3 kids while he did nothing all day (he's disabled, but could still feed the kids, load the dishwasher, put laundry on). It was a very tough decision because I am a completely faithful person to the one I love. I guess I just didn't love him anymore. The one thing that helped me make up my mind was that I told myself it was time to do something to make me happy instead of always trying to satisfy everyone around me. Now I couldn't be happier. Scott and I are alot alike yet different and we both feel that we compliment each other well as far as personality. I love him because he is a good provider and loving husband, and he loves me because I allow him to be what and who he wants to be...something his ex never let him do. He couldn't even spend time with his family or she was right there. Didn't trust him at all. And he is the most faithful person I have ever known. Ok the book is over. Somebody kick me. I talk to much.

Just wanted to say HI! And Andrew doesn't have a kidney infection. I took him off his antibiotic for his sinuses for a couple days b/c of a bad diaper rash and guess what..... He has ANOTHER Severe Sinus Infection ALREADY!!!! GRRRRRrr.... Bad momma!

So it looks like we will end up with the surgery but we will see...

Andrew has a kidney disorder called Hydronephrosis. He gets frequent kidney infections and blockages to his kidney's. That is why I am so freaky about him running a fever... The more infections he has, the more damage is done to his kidney's. So far so good! He hasn't had any infections since January! He goes back to the pediatric urologist in November. I really can't wait... Not really sounding like I am excited but I can not wait to know what is going on. I have to wait months at a time to find out what is next :( His next appt will determine if we can hold off his surgery again or not...

Anyhow, Thanks for the support.... His dr. said today... If it's not one end of his piping it is another....lol Ain't that the truth....lol

Well ladies, its almost midnight here, but I figured I'd get on one last time for the night. When I went to pick up my son tonight after church he greeted me with a pair of those plastic groucho marx glasses with the mustache attached! It was too cute. I made my mother-in-law snap a pic when we got home. I had to go to the store to pick up some milk and I was having a sweet tooth craving so bad!!! I stared at the candy, cakes, doughnuts and couldn't decide what I wanted. I finally looked up at the clerk and said "If I can't decide what I want, I guess I dont' need it". So I just left with the milk. I was curious also and went to the msn website to see all you guy's pics. I also like to have a face to go with a name but unfortunately I don't have any pics on here yet. I'm working on it though! :)

Penny: I'm sorry about your son's condition. I know it must be scary and I didn't mean to insinuate that you were paranoid, trust me. Having been through nursing school I know the scary realities there are and when my son get sick I make it a point to have the doctor rule out anything serious that fits the symptoms he's having. That's why I was so freaked when he was going to the bathroom so much b/c I know how fragile a child's kidneys are. I dont' think you can ever be paranoid when it comes to your child's health! I hope Andrew's rash clears up, antibiotics are the worst! It still takes three people to hold my son down so that he will take his when he is sick.

Deana: Kudos to you for being strong enough to think about your own happiness instead of living in misery. Life is too short! I'm glad you found a stand up guy who loves you and your kids and wants to be there for you all!

Chris: LOL about the hair cut. Why do kids feel the need to cut their own hair???? My son cut his hair last year with a pair of safety scissors. He cut it right up front all the way to the scalp! Then he had the nerve to ask if it looked good!

Jill: OMG... I did the same thing a few weeks ago. I guess I was typing too fast and forgot the 3! Not only did I get the porn site, but I also got bombarded with all these nasty pop-ups that wouldn't go away. I thought I had screwed my computer up and too embarrassed to ask someone to come fix it, I knew they would think I was some kind of perv. But I finally got everything worked out. Now I have this site as my home page so no more mistakes like that!
