Afternoon- another flyby post :) DH and I are finally tackling the guest bedroom transformation, so we're busy with that. But I'm hoping I can catch up sometime tonight. Wanted ya'll to know I'm thinking of you :)

Well radar looks like it's going to clear up soon. Good thing cuz we need to leave here in half an hour. Shoot...as soon as I typed that it started raining again :( . Still won't miss the parade.

Chrily: Water challenge is to help some of us who don't drink as much as we should. Just friendly competition. I'll set the amount to 100 oz. today. I'm working on my first 20 oz bottle. Spryng yes I do experience lag on my laptop since it only has like 256 mb ram but my other computers all have 1 gb ram (1024 mb) and they go smooth as silk. Also when I bought memory for my pc to upgrade it from 512 mb to 1024 it cost me like 400 bucks for the ram cards. Most new computers you have to double the memory or it won't work.

I have to work today from 3pm to 1am but I will post from work later on. OMG I forgot to tell you guys!! Last night I had a group of German bikers come to check in and one of them said something in german that i couldnt understand and I said "I'm sorry I don't know what he said" and they laughed and one guys answers " He says you have nice cleavage" OMG my face was so red. One more example to prove men are pigs lol ;)

Oh yeah I also forgot to say that Teagan took 6 steps today on her own. I didn't get the camcorder in time I only got one step on tape lol by then she was worn out lol

LOL I just got back from errands for the party with my mom and I think aside from picking up the cake and ice cream I've got everything done. Hi all. Just checking in. This has been the laziest day ever. After I clean the kitchen, we're gonna go spend some time outside. That means I'll have to give the kids a bath, AGAIN!!! I try to skip a night sometimes if we don't spend any time outside and get dirty and sweaty, but oh well.

Ok guys I think I have enough time to get personal now. I just got Bayley's cake baked and am letting it cool now so that I can frost it and get it all done later. I also ordered a chocolate cake from costco with cream cheese filling and frosting. MMMMMMM hope I can stay out of it! I don't think a little piece would do any harm, do you? LOL BTW I am down a pound this morning so I'm back to the weight I have posted on my siggy which really made my day! Just hope I don't gain a whole bunch this weekend, I think I will be ok though, aside from the cake I might have I don't have plans to eat out or anything like that so I should be ok. Haven't drank much water today so those of you doing a water challenge are going to beat me! I'm up for one Monday though if you are! Mom just stopped by after her second trip to town today, she went back cause we forgot a whole bunch of things and she wasn't done shopping but I had promised dh I would be home at a certain time so he could work on his bike. Anyway enough about my day how has yours been?

Hey Mel glad you had a good nights sleep! Do you think it was just a fluke or do you think the Malox could have worked? I hope everything is ok with his glucose and such, kids with diabetes can be so hard. I used to babysit a little one with it, I just feel bad for them. Keep us updated.

Chrily I'm not a morning person either, I think it's genetic! LOL I do like to get up before my baby but if she is up before 8 it's not going to happen! I can get up at 8 and be alive but not much earlier than that! I feel your pain!

Ok I think that about does it, I need to go finish cleaning this house but I am tired to so might take a nap! Well the rain finally stopped. We went to town, dropped Erik off for Color Guard, parked, went to buy umbrellas and as soon as we walked out the door, the sheriff was driving by announcing that the parade was cancelled. Lightning had struck the control box for the railroad crossing and the barriers were down and they couldn't get them back up until the railroad people showed up. Therefore the bands and floats could not get around them so the cancelled the whole thing. We were disapointed but that's how it goes. We did go to the fair and I let the kids play some, then we got homemade rootbeers and I got a Cajun Sausage on a stick for my and dh and brought them home. The man who makes them is a good friend of ours. Makes his own sausage and BBQ......sooooo good. So I was bad today. I am about 4 ounces away from my 100 for the day. How did everyone else do. I already saw yours Jill. Monday looks good for me at this point. We'll do another then. Anybody else?

Well I didn't send lunch with dh because I still had BBQ chicken in the oven and it wasn't done yet. So after the kids go to sleep I will run some to him. Now I have to find something to go with it.

I'm going to make it to chat for a while, but will have to leave.

Hey everybody! Today was pretty good after I went to my mom's house. We went to Wal-Mart and bought a few things to fix for dinner. It was so good!!! My mom takes these chicken breasts and puts a little garlic salt on them. Then she cuts up a bell pepper/red onion and puts it on top of the chicken in a baking dish. Sprinkles a little extra light olive oil and garlic salt and bakes it in the oven. Congratulations Emily on your weight loss! And to Jill for the loss as well. I definately steered clear of the chocolate today. Hopefully (fingers crossed) I will be able to have lost something by Thursday, God willing. Quick question... How do you ladies drink all that water without holing up the bathroom all day?? I drank about forty ounces today and felt like I was peeing my brain out! We had to stop twice at two different stores so I could use the restroom. LOL... Well, hope everyone has a good night! Talk to you all tomorrow!

Oh ya Amy also about the water, your body eventually finds things to do with it and you are able to drink more and not pee as much, I haven't hit that stage yet but I'm working on it! It really does help the weight loss too! Have a great night girls I've go to get crackin on this house!!!

Hello ladies!

So sorry I've been MIA once again. And actually it wasn't because I was on the computer! LOL! I played a little this morning but it was starting to run so slow that I got frusterated and just turned the whole computer off. So instead I cleaned some (still haven't got everything done, but its getting there) and played with the kids all day. Oh and I finished Man on Fire tonight... I was crying like a big baby at the end. Very good movie.
OK, someone asked about the crock pot rotisserie chicken? I just put lary's season salt on it, rolled up some aluminum foil to put under the chicken so it wouldn't swim in the fat and cooked it on high for about 5 hours. It was a 5 lbs chicken and it was so juicy and tender! The first time I've cooked one like that. But it was delicious. And now I have plenty leftover for lunches and snacks. I had some as a snack tonight with a little BBQ sauce to dip it in... yum!

Michelle, I will be buying some memory very soon for my computer also... I just can't stand this slow motion crap, lol. So I'm glad yours run fine on the computer with more memory. I'm ordering some monday.

OK, sorry I can't get personal with everyone, I'm about to fall asleep in my chair! But all in all it's been a great day! (oh did I mention I conquered Luigi's mansion on gamecube today?? My kids thought it was something, lol... that was lots of fun) There is a chance I might get to see dh tomorrow morning... not sure yet. He's on his way to Denver so he'll pass through Olathe. But he has to leave no later than noon and I don't know if I want to do all that driving for just an hour or so of seeing him. The kids hate that. So I'm debating it. What would you do?
