Well, you must all know that I love my mil to death, but she is not one to take advice from. She's on her third marraige which is with a hispanic that was illegal when she got with him and barely spoke english. He is legal now and english is getting better. I love talking to her but don't take alot of what she says to heart. She tries really hard, but she is so dingy and crazy most of the time.
She has told me that she can't give me advice on my kids because she screwed her up. She said I know what to tell you NOT to do so you don't have a Travis, (dh's brother) on your hands. LOL But I do feel better since I talked to her because now I feel like I'm getting my point across to someone that could help me if it ever comes to it with dh, her son. Does that make since.
Gotta go start dinner.

Spryng, I'm making one of those campbells supper backs. Chicken with herb rice and I think I'll micrwoave from frozen corn and peas, make cornbread and salad. Sounds good to me.

Hey everyone just had a late lunch, tuna sandwich, it tasted sooooooooooo good. I try to stay away from sandwiches for lunch because of the bread but it just sounded so good today and it was! Anyway exercised again with my mom, we took a half hour fast walk and it was nice. Got my kitchen cleaned and swept and now baby is down for another nap so I am here with you! Dinner tonight is Spryngs Rosemary chicken and white beans, better be good Spryng! LOL I'm going to write to you all and then do a few more things around the house until Hunter (the boy I've started Baby sitting) gets here and then it's Oprah and kids for a couple hours! LOL I've had a liter of water today but have not been able to get down much more of it, I think I am just in one of those moods where I don't want to do much of anything, it better change by tomorrow!!

Leigh good job with the cleaning! Doesn't it feel great! I was so excited when my house was all in order on Sat. I am trying to keep it that way and for the most part it looks good. There are a few clutter spots in my office that I need to tend to but that's about it. Scary about the hurricane. I've been staying up to date and they said it would probably weaken a little more, I hope it does.

Hi Mel glad to hear from you! LOL I'm glad you found that childrens Maloxx, I thought maybe it would be in a reg. pharmacy, there's not much those places dont have. I will be anxious to see if it helps him tonight. Maybe it's been a combo of his gas pains and acid reflux that would make anyone not be able to sleep. Keep us posted.

Spryng I forgot to comment on your dh having to drive to FL!! I can't beleive they would do that! Anything for a buck, right? Geez! I bet he will be fine though. If it gets bad he can always stop and take cover, what are they going to do fire him for staying away from a hurricane, I smell a lawsuit! Anyway I'll keep him and everyone else that is being affected by this hurricane in my prayers!

Ok that's good for now, when I sit at this thing too long I start to get sleepy again and I was on a roll with getting stuff done earlier so I better get off. Hope you all have a good dinner and I'll talk to you later!

Spryng: No, I haven't figured out what we're having tomorrow night. I will probably have to run to the store tomorrow anyway for something so I am going to call her and see if she has any ideas. Maybe see what she has she can bring and figure out the meat to go with it.

Mel: Hope the maalox works for bugga tonight so you can get a good night's sleep too.

Supper tonight was tuna patties, stuffing and green beans. I like to flavor my tuna patties with a sauce so I used my homemade BBQ sauce. It has a little kick to it and was sooooo good. I also figured out the calories when I made it and for 2 TBS. only about 20 calories. That's half as much as Kraft original.

I actually got a second wind today and got another load of laundry done, cooked supper, unloaded, loaded and ran the dishwasher, and washed a couple pots in the sink, then it was so sweet....my 7 yo came in and washed some bowls and a skillet for me. He loves to help in the kitchen. Of course I get arguments between him and dd as to who gets to help me cook :dizzy:. Most of the time I don't mind them helping, I just won't let them in if I am cooking with oil.

Guess I better get on planning supper for tomorrow night.

Just got company. The boys dad came by. I'll be back later.

I'm so tired tonight! LOL. Liam tried to take a nap at 8, but I forced him to stay awake so that he'll go to sleep at nine and sleep through the night. Otherwise, he'd sleep from 8-10 and be up until midnight again. He's been doing that a few times a week - don't know why. Anyway, I think my weariness is a combo of TOM, and craming a lot into today - cleaning, walk, errand . . .

Melissa- let us know how the Mylanta works after a few doses.

Spryng- yeah, I think the weather will be bad in Alabama and Georgia. Lots of rain and windy most likely. But I guess a lot depends on his specific route.

Crystal- I do like your idea of planting some seeds of change with MIL :) Is DH close with her? I know you are, which is nice.

Jill- I had a tuna sandwhich for dinner! LOL. It must be tuna day. Did you see Oprah. It was difficult.

We are watching the news now and people from New Orleans are still trying to get out. One testimony said he has traveled 9 miles in 4 hours today! Horrible!

I watched Oprah today and cried most of the way through it. Lori's Mom really held herself together. I don't know how she could manage to get through without just trashing Mark. She's much kinder than I could ever be.

Just a quick post from me.. I stayed up to watch Amazing Race and now I'm exausted. I hope I get some energy back soon. All I got done today was dishes.... so much more needs to get done.

hey there girlies, I lied again.....from now on, no promises as to if I will get here. I hate to make excuses but I'll tell you anyway why I was couldn't get here until now :lol: A friend came over that I haven't seen in ages, she is one of my only friends left that I still talk to besides you all! and then I got sydney down for a nap and she left to drive mack to ames before dinner...i sat downto fold clothes, and write to you all, and decided to look up what all the sadness was regarding this little girl who died yesterday. I was completely overtaken with emotion for some reason. It was just so wonderful all the support and everything for her. I read all the journal entries. I sat there the ENTIRE time sydney was sleeping, just reading and laughing, praying and crying. How beautiful that family is/was. anyway. now it is late,and I am so tired. SO I am going to bed...sorry again. I miss getting personal with you all. I will try again tomorrow :)

Hey everyone I've been messing with my digital camcorder for the past hour or so trying to figure out how to save pictures that I captured on video. What a pain in the a**!! Anyway it's cool once you figure it out but it's def. not self explanatory. Dinner was really good! Good recipe Spryng! Man that hurricane is something else huh? So scary. Well I guess I really don't have anything else to report except that I drank a liter of water in 15 minutes and have had to pee 3 times in the last 20 minutes! TMI I know but I just thought I would share. I am also so snacky right now!! I think TOM is wreaking havoc on me. I really have only had 3 TOM's since Dec. 2002 cause that is when I got preg. and when I was breastfeeding I didn't get them either so I think this is my first real one in a long time. I'm sure he is probably back with a vengance so I better watch out. Hope you all are doing well and keep me posted on hurricane news.

Oh ya funny about us all eating tuna! Crazy!

One more thing Kristin if you are preg. what month and how old were you when you think "it" happened. I want to predict your child! LOL
