Hello ladies…..how are you all doing?

Well, Brandon is now baptized and loving every minute of it. He loved being in church. He was laughing while the minister did his sermon. When I get the pictures from my sister and from our roll of film, then I will get them on his website as fast as I can. The lady’s circle from our church bought him a little book called “bless me.” It is a really cute book. The outfit just barely fit him, but it worked for about the hour that he was in it. The weather was perfect for it…..until about when everyone was leaving. Then we all had to run inside because it started to sprinkle a little bit.

He got some really cool gifts. He got tons of clothes! He got a sterling silver cross trinket box and it was engraved with his name, the words “God Bless” and the date of his baptism on it. He also got a yellow gold Figaro bracelet from one of his godmothers, just to name a few. Oh yeah…..the bracelet we have to take to Things Remembered, the store, and they will engrave it for us within 24 hours of taking it there.

I had a dream Saturday night, and it was really weird and somewhat funny! In my dream we were on a bike ride. We stopped cause Tommy wanted to check on something with his bike, since he was pulling Brandon in one of those covered bike buggies for kids. Well, I looked over at him, and he goes “you know what? I am ready for number 2….and I can get you pregnant in a week!”

The funny part is that as of this past Monday, I was 8dpo. So in a weeks time, it should be about the time AF is due to come into town. I have noticed that my back has been hurting, I have been moody and I keep feeling like AF is going to come soon. We weren’t trying to make Brandon and the next one this close in age, so hopefully I will see AF in about a week!

We went and applied for his social security card, on Monday…so we will have it in 10 days to 2 weeks.

We went Monday night to the bowling alley for a welcome back tournament for my hubby and my BIL. We were in there four about 3 ½ hours or so. We came out and my hubby was getting into his seat, and he goes “hey Tim, your glove box works now.” Which caused my BIL to say “what?” cause it hasn’t been working right for a while now. That is when my BIL opened his car door and we noticed that his stereo was missing as well. Thankfully Brandon’s car seat base was still there and I had my purse and the diaper bag with us.

Cristi~ I agree. I have tried to keep in contact with my sister but since we had a falling out two years ago before my wedding, I hadn’t talked to her until last week. I got a birthday card from her and her family saying “I know we missed out on a few, but it is better late then never, right?” thanks for the birthday wishes as well!!!

Shanna~ I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers during this rough and trying time. It seems to be hitting everyone I know….I hope the economy picks up and the job front starts looking better! Thanks for the birthday wishes!!! I hope things work out for you!!

No time for individuals right now, but I thought I would pop in and say hi to everyone one of my "girls"
Everyone think good thoughts for me. My Manager is re-thinking whether or not to let me go to part time or not. This is because I DID let the two people interviewing me know that I may have to go to part time, but I wasn't sure since I wouldn't get the definite school schedule for at least four-5 months. They both didn't tell me that would be a problem, or explain the 6 month rule. then when I got through with my 5 week training and had my initial interview with my night supervisor on my first night, I told her the same thing. No comments were made. So my nice supervisor talk with me after the manager told me no and was trying to help me cause she knew I was really upset. Well, she passed on the conversation to the manager and then he wanted to know what was going on. So since I was honest in my first interview and no one gave me the right information to help me make the decision on what shift would work best for me, I may get to go to the part time shift on a technicality. But I still may not. At least it is being consider and the intial no is being re-thought. So keep your fingers crossed that my life may be looking up for once in my 28 1/2 yrs.

Marti - 4 days with your sweetie sounds heavenly. And to spend one of them at the beach would be so nice. Glad you found the letter. When will they be making the final decision? I'm keeping :crossed: for you.

Susan - nothing wrong with being picky when it comes to a life mate! Hope you are smiling now that Gaby is home. I bet she was just as glad to see you.

Cristi - I'm anal about my towels, too, and like them just so. But they are visible on a rack in both bathrooms. Your yard sounds nice. At the B&B we just stayed, they had meandering bricks in a pleasing way throughout an herb garden. The air around it smelled delicious! Glad the PT is helping you.

Jen - arrgh! Hope your day today is better!! About the concert, sounds like you could sit on the porch and hear it for free, lol. Not the same atmosphere doing that, tho.

Julie - yep, time for a heart-to-heart with your sweetie. Get out the calendar and Bride's magazines, and if that doesn't scare him off, you're home free, lol. Let us know how it goes!

Angie - that's what I do/did with my kids, too. Find their weak spot to use when I need the advantage, lol. For Katie, it's always the computer. She'll do anything to not get it taken away. Bwa ha ha ha!!! Btw, I had to bag up stuff for a couple of weeks, too, when we had cooties.

Mindee - glad you had a happy birthday, and you're welcome for the card. So, if AF doesn't show up, will you be painting a room pink? LOL

Gotta go shopping today and also clean out my laundry room. The water softener isn't working and I don't want the repair guy to see how messy it is in there! There are dust bunnies big enough to do Easter duty!

Mindee--Please clue me in with what 8dpo stands for!! I'm assuming that AF stands for Aunt Flo right? I went to your site and looked at the photos of your son.....so adorable! I loved being able to take photos of Jhanai as that age......if I figure out my scanner I may scan some photos of her at each age....(she's 10 now....boy do I feel old)

Jen--I hope your feeling better and that your headache went away! Have fun at the concert....I'd sure like to go!! Is it indoors or outdoors? (probably indoors right?)

Cristi--You are so right when you say James schedule is off the wall! I don't see how they can make these men work the way that they do sometimes. It makes no sense to me. And the train lingo!!! James and I were talking in bed the other night and he was telling me how one of the managers was upset that it was taking so long and said that if they don't hurry he's going to kill them when they reach Albany. I"m like "WHAT?!" I'm thinking it's a threat...but it means that he'll shut the access anywhere and that work is done. I'm like "Geez...give me a heartattack" So thats what James meant when he said if I ever need to get in touch with him at work and the people tell me he died in Portland....that he's stuck in portland. Crazy I tell you! :dizzy:

Angie--Kids...one minute they fight, the next they're best friends. I remember that when I was a kid. I'm the oldest of 5. Now poor Jhanai, she never got to have a brother or sister to grow up with. She always wanted one and my ex and I thought about it, but there was just no way with the way the relationship was going and where we lived. At least I never had to break up a fight or heated discussion! Hope you have a better day today.

Shanna--Keeping my fingers crossed that they will work with you and you can stay and go to school. Heck.....with what you said in the interviews they should!

Jana--I'm not sure how long it will take for them to make the decision. I'm hoping sometime next week. I had to laugh at your laundry room bunnies!! You know...I think I need to learn how to organize. My house looks clean and tidy for the most part....but I have a lot of clutter in certain areas!! It's mind boggling sometimes!! Why do I do that? You should see my bedroom. I don't want it cluttered like that!

Anyone know how to orgainize???? :D

Today I am running to town to pick up some items at Walmart....for the life of me I can't think what they are right now so I better go make a list! (I'm terrible with remembering things! Why is that?) And then later I'm going over to my grandpa's to prune his flower garden for him. He's been so busy making the small house (size is like a trailer house, it's long and narrow) So he needs help around the house. I may take my camera over there today and take some photos of his house and show you what he has to keep up with.

Alrighty ladies....I will be back in time for chat I believe. An hour earlier, I can handle that.

Hi there all, almost the weekend!!!!

Well thank you all for your support on my love life issue!! I know what needs to be done I guess you just cant help but get comfortable in thinking that one day everything is going to turn around and go the way you want it to!! We had a chat last night, and he wasnt too happy about it... But why should I hold my feeling in??/ He certainly expresses his feelings when something bothers him!!! He's all geared up about wanting to have kids and a family, but lets prioritize here!!!!! Whats more important??
Well Im at work and I have clinical tonight!!! But I am going to try to make it into chat at some point so I can catch up with all of you!!!

Jana~I think sometimes I am too anal about things. Just like things a certain way though. PT is definitely helping. I had three appts. for next week but she cut two of them out to see if I have any problems during the week and if not then I can just do my exercises at home, so that's good.

Angie~I am itching at the thought of the 'L' word! We don't have a Boston's Pizza here but I would have loved to see Howie Mandel-I love his laugh! And he is cute to boot!

Julie~I saw somewhere where this woman wanted her BF to propose and she went and bought a bunch of wedding magazines and put them around the house where he could see them so he would get the hint and couldn't avoid the subject. I thought that was cute. And no you shouldn't have to hold your feelings in.

Marti~I think I would die if I got a phone call saying that!! James died in Portland-that's horrible!! You would think at least with something like that they could find a better word that died-that is crazy! You want to hear what's terrible? I usually make a list and end up forgetting something! :dizzy:

Must be shopping day for everyone-lol! I too went to Wal-Mart this morning. I was trying to get gone before the rain started-didn't happen. At least when I came out an hour later it had stopped for a few mintues. Long enough for me to get things loaded. Then ran to Hallmark to get some candles only they only had one, darn. I discovered a new scent, Ocean Water-oooohh, it smells sooo good. The only thing is Hallmark is getting ready for fall and getting rid of all the other scents-bummer. I still have a supply of the Wedding Day scent and will always use those but I like to change every now and then for a little while. Going to go to the mall tomorror and see if I can get them at the Yankee Candle store there. Hope so as I need some Wedding Day and Fresh Cut Roses tea-lights for the bedroom. I love it when my house smells good. I had bought a three layered candle once for the kitchen. It had three scents, can't remember two of them but the one was oatmeal raisin cookies and oh my goodness-it really smelled like I was baking. Anyhoo...did I see somewhere that chat is going to be an hour earlier??? I am going to try and make it-no promises. Not sure what I will be doing later. Has anyone tried those 100 Calorie Packs yet? I think Marti you said you did??? I tried the wheat thin ones and like them but today I bought the oreo and the chips ahoy ones. Had the chips ahoy ones and they are not so bad. The taste like the cookies, more of a cookie chip sort of. But the good thing is only 100 calories. I also like that on the package it has 100 Healthy Living Tips. Not all 100 but one on each package and they are numbered. Well, best get going. I have a load of laundry to do and a few things to iron. TTFN :wave:

Marti~ 8dpo, stands for 8 days past ovulation. And as of today, I am 11, last cycle I was 13, and the website that I chart on, has me at testing on Saturday if AF doesn’t come. And you are right AF means aunt flo. I can’t picture Brandon turning 10…..yet! but I am sure that that day will come sooner then I want it to.

Had to come in and tell you all that I may miss chat tonight. There was a change in James plans and he's on his way home now.....he got off work this morning at 6:00 when he got up (before noon) he noticed that he was 3rd out....meaning he wasn't getting enough sleep. So called in a personal day and after that day he'll take his four! Yeehaw!

Anyway...he wants to take me out for dinner so I am meeting him up in Eugene tonight.

Susan - yep, I'm fussy about lots of things, but not as much as I was when I was younger. Does every one else rotate their underwear and sox? But I don't keep a clean house the way I used to.. it just doesn't matter as much any more. I've got better things to do now, lol. Glad your little sweetie is home safe and sound.

Cristi - glad your PT appointments are being cut down. Have you tried the candles at Walmart? I know they aren't as fragrant as the Yankee ones, but they are a lot better than they used to be. I always bought Yankees exclusively, but buy some at Walmart too, now, and they do a pretty good job.

Mary's tests came back ok, and the doc told her to start taking a multi-vitamin. (which is EXACTLY what I told her a few weeks ago, but I didn't point that out, lol) I'll be so glad when she can go to part-time at work, which will be in two weeks.

I am re-decorating my bedroom. Since I live in the country, I chose the "Prairie Crossings" quilt, bedskirt,shams and valances from Penneys - 25% off. If you have the big Fall catalog, it's on page 1102. Some of these same colors are in my living room, which leads into the bedroom. When I get it done, maybe I'll post a picture.

Jana~ Thanks for checking the page out. I have more pictures on the digital camera from today that I have to download on there. I was able to get to the store to get my disposable developed, but they turned out really grainy. I am waiting for it to tell me that it can’t hold any more pictures.

My co worker called and offered Gaby a tricycle.....so I am excited about that! Gaby is growing up so fast. I talked to Rachel and the older girls got home safe from a night of camping.....

Just a quicky: I have had those 100 calorie packs, I tried the oreo ones and I LOVE THEM!!!! They make you feel like you are being bad, but you aren't !!!! Ya gotta love that. I may try the others ones, but I was just looking for a good healthier dessert for my lunches and thought I would try those. Whata great idea. YUMMY FOR MY TUMMY!!!!! hee hee hee

Elle~glad to see you made it over to the Chit chat thread. We usually get to about 50 posts and then start a new thread. The ladies here are GREAT!!! I keep fat free vanilla & choc. pudding in the fridge all the time, and fat-free ice cream. Well, actually those orange sherbert pop-ups, and the winning points ice cream sandwiches-they are pretty good.

Shanna~yeah, it does feel like you are being bad and they are yummy! :T And the prices aren't bad either.

Mindee~you are welcome for both the birthday wishes and for signing the guest book. Brandon is such a cutie pie! Between you and my sons friend I am wanting a baby!!! She (Sharon) is actually my sons assistant manager and she just had her baby last night. He was at the hospital for quite a while because they were worried about the baby, her heart rate dropped. Anyway, he had to leave at 12 to get home and get some sleep but she had little Sidney Erin Rose at 3 this morning. I can't wait to see her.

Jana~that's funny! :lol: I never thought to rotate my underwear and socks! Like you, I am fussy about certain things but not so anal about my house like I was when I was younger. People would actually comment on how clean it always was like it was a bad thing. It was my job-DH worked and I stayed home and thought the least I could do is have a clean house. I would vacuum everyday-the house was spotless. But now, it took me a while to figure that my time with my family is more important than having a clean house. I'm not a pig now, just not as anal as I used to be, except about the towels! :lol: I am going to have to check out your new quilt. I was just thinking the same about my room. Not a makeover but still looking for a new comforter or quilt-never did find one. Actually I found a pretty blue and yellow one but that would mean repainting the bathroom, and bedroom. Didn't think it would be so hard to find a quilt to match my decor and valances. I love that pink one in the catalog, not sure what page it is on but was really wanting to stick with a quilt again. Glad Mary is fine.

i really need support right now. I got down to 188 but i haev been stressing over school (i leave in 8 days) that i havent sotpepd eating and now i am back to 191 and i ahte myself for it. i just wanna god i dont even kno eat for eating thats sick i kno :( i need motivation
