After I already did my weighted arm lifts yesterday, I read in Redbook (Sept with Kelly Ripa) that the very best exercise for upper arms is push ups. Or to do them against a wall if you are a wimp like me. :D So I'm going to replace the lifts and start these on Sunday. God forbid I do both, lol. They also had a good article about tummy flab and how to get rid of it. Seems walking is better than crunches! Who knew?? I don't believe everything I read, but it does make sense.
Anyhoo, add another 1/2 for me.... subtotal is 6 for the week so far. |
Ok...I have a normal computer so I can post!!
Let's see, where did I leave off? Thursday I did a lot of squatting in the garden.....then did some stretches in between and then went home to do some leg workouts to stretch the cramps out...about an hour and a half total :4pts. Friday: 30mins. of legs again! so 1pt. Nothing for today yet..... but that totals to be...9. Does that look right to you girls? |
Ok! Yesterday I walked the treadmill for 30 minutes, so that's 1 1/2 points. So my total for the week is 7 or 71/2 if we're counting 1/2s, lol.

hey everybody!
Glad to see ya. I'd love to start this challenge if I can. It might take me a while to get started but I my efforts will be redoubled as soon as classes start for the fall!!!! |
Hey great to see you here Susan. Jana - Scuzin is an Oregon gal also! We're everywhere, lol!
I'm joining in as of today as well. I think this is a great idea and my next challenge really needs to be exercise oriented. All our schedules change when school starts and usually this is when my exercise routine suffers...so I'm using this challenge to keep myself on track. My week will start on Monday ( same as WI) and I walked 40 minutes today so... 2 points! RK |
