Just got done with dinner. It was delicious! And because of that I couldn't stop at one serving... or two... but I did stop after 3!! (did I tell you it was 17 pts per serving!!! AHHH!) it just tasted so good!! LOL. I should feel terrible I know, lol. But for some reason I don't, lol. I know I have all week to work it off.

Good evening! Wow- things are usually slower on the weekends LOL! Anyway, I've had a great day today. Liam's been in an excellent mood and he even let me shop at the mall for 2 hours! Amazin, I know. And I ended up getting him very soft, leather booties with no structure. I thought I'd have him wear them 1/2 the day while around here and the other 1/2 of the time go barefoot and see what happens with his callous. If it doesn't improve, I'll then ask the doctor.

Well, gals, I've been off plan again. I'd liek to start over next week, but if DH gets home, we're thinking of taking a road trip. But maybe for that I can eat well all day and give myself "free" evenings, just to sort of stay on track. I dunno! TTYL . . .

Just popping in. Made it back from Walmart and groceries. Too funny, in Walmart,oldest bought his own stuff he wanted (body spray, deoderant, body wash, and a 30' tape measure for hubby, and something else). Anyway, we go to check out, he bought 5 items, I bought 10 and only spent 20 cents more than he did... :lol:

Grocery store was a complete different story... :( Starting buying things for me to eat on my diet......spent much more than I intended but got things like salad mix, dressing (looked to make sure it didn't have too much sugar), cucumbers, green grapes, black olives, canned salmon, frozen shrimp for the salads, and for supper a huge salmon filet and I have corn-on-the-cob in the fridge....will prollly fix a pasta too for them but I'm gonna be good.....also got some Diet Sierra Mist for me. I'm not much on drinking water (ours doesn't taste really good) and can't afford to buy bottled all the time. Have to watch budget around here, too many bills and only one income.

Penny: TY, I've always hated my name cuz kids used to tease me in school, but it's not as bad now.

Spryng: I'm like an open book, if you want to know something just ask....and it's easier to talk on here cuz I can be more free with what I say and dont' have to worry about rumors like in a small town (about 4800 ppl).

Loveliam: Thank you, look forward to getting to know all of you as well. Not really following any plan, just watching carbs, sugars, caffiene, salts and starting walking on Monday after I go to Dr. office to weigh. Want to be sure of where I started.
DH has a really good check coming next week and said perhaps we could get me something. :D decided I'm going to ask for a nice digital scale, then try to set it with Dr. office scale so I'll be acurate.

Hi there gals. Just got done with dinner. Dh and Alisa are gone for a bit, so I won't clean the kitchen until their done. I'm glad to hear every one else's dinner wasn't the best choices. Mine was chicken fried steak, which I cook in a healthier way, homemade mashed potatoes, gravy, fried okra, and mac and cheese. Now I don't eat much mac and cheese, I usually make potatoes and gravy with non fat milk, but I didn't have any. But one serving filled me to the brim.

I like the idea of one new thread per day. Starting a new one at three pages, seems to make more people confused than just one per day I think. So far everyone has said they like the idea so let's just ask if anyone doesn't like the idea.

Well, I so enjoyed staying home today and as far as I can tell I will tomorrow too. I might need to go get bread, milk and a very few items like that. We'll see however. My mom's kitchen is totally done, except the curtains will hopefully will be here by Thursday or so. I'll try to take a picture of it. I would so love to show you all. You know after I was feeling the way I was feeling yesterday, i thought about redoing my bathroom just to make me feel better. I thought about painting, new shower curtain and a new mirror maybe a few accessories as well. I really shouldn't in hopes that we won't be here that much longer, but I think it would make me feel so good. If I spend 50 bucks or less, I think it'll be worth it. I was just thinking out loud again.

I am surprised the thread is hoppin today. I have been busy getting Eric ready for school to start. Went to wal mart today and bought him a pair of shorts for school, not realizing they were the ones with a snap button. Eric can't quite work the snaps yet, so I had to go back and get him a pair that button, but now I have to take those back because they are too little. Thank goodness I only live 2 miles from wal mart. Everyone has been busy today I see. I need to clean. I was going to go to church in the morning, but I will go tomorrow evening instead. Hey everyone just got back from visiting with friends and decided to have leftovers instead of making a big dinner so I will do what I had planned for tonight tomorrow and forgo the hot dog mac and cheese thing I had for tomorrow. Anyway I went to Target and got some birthdays out of the way and got my car washed and vacuumed. So I guess I got a little bit done today. I am up for the one thread per day thing too. I think it would be cool. We could even title it Stay at Home Moms #??? then whatever the day is so people would know it was from Wed. etc. Just a thought. So I am definitly up for some chat and I wish Michelle was on here too! I miss her. So I guess I'll go hang out in the MSN chatroom and see who shows up! Don't leave me haning :) LOL

The bday party was fine. Dh worked late so we didn't get there til almost time for dinner...which was fine...I didn't have time to munch on the appetizers. Of course Will didn't want to leave...there's always that drama :^: .

Looks like most everyone's having cooler than normal temps lately. I actually wore jeans while I was up north Thursday... I'm not ready for cooler weather yet! My garden still has growing to do :lol: .

Tring to lose the last 15 pounds from having kids.Although i've not been tring to hard lately.

Have'nt been home today ,we went to NC to visit family.I cleaned my moms gutters and she bought me a dresser for my son.I thought that was a fair trade.lol My b-day is coming up and she painted me 2 beautiful jars.She's a great artist.She paints portraits and everything.I did'nt get any kind of those genes.I do good just to write my name correctly.lol We went and seen my SIL to.My son wanted to see her son but her son was off playing golf with my brother.Anyhow were home now and it's 11pm and my last 2 kids are in the bath.They got to get in the bed soon.The're going to be hating life when I wake them up for church in the morning.Well i'll do better on posting this week.Sounds like every one is doing ok.I did'nt read all the post but I did' scan over them.I'll post again tomorrow evening/. :D

Penny: son babysat for sil on Wed, Thur, Fri and goes back for Mon and Tues. She paid him $100 and then my mom gave him $20 for his birthday. Of which $60 has to go into savings for working on his car. Her sitter canceled on her and they had been having trouble with her for a while anyway. But like I told him, if he buys it, it's his, doesn't have to share. As far as food for me....it's hard to buy just for me while feeding a family of 6 on about 300 a month....I buy on sale most of the time.

Well.....going to play a couple games then think I'll read for a while. Bought the first 4 Harry Potter books at a book fair at school last year, then ordered the last one from Amazon. Oldest didn't want anything to do with them til he saw my nose stuck, then he asked if he could read them, I said of course....he has read them all twice and the last one 3 times.....has been after me to start the last one forever, and I finally did last night. Been too busy to read.

Hey ladies! Today was a super long day, we got the girls room painted and its so cute and we got the living room half done. That Paper Illusions is awesome my living room is just sooo nice looking well the part with the new paper up anyway :) I took a half and half pic of the living room and I forgot to take a pic of the girls room but I'll post an after pic. Tomorrow is taylors birtday party and I'm soo excited but dreading it as well lol I'm gonna be runnin my butt off!!

Zhauns vasectomy went very well! He said it hurts worse to have an in grown toenail pulled out than to have the vas. done! He even declined painkillers and he said he watched the whole procedure no big deal at all :D Hes up and moving and feeling pretty good

Morning Ladies!!!

I hope everyone is having a good weekend!! Dh is working today so I hope to get some cleaning done and finish the laundry. We'll see how much the kids let me get done!! We went to a birthday party yesterday at a bowling alley and the kids had a great time. Then stopped at subway for dinner. Its been months since I've had it, but I got a roastbeef sub for only 5 pts. My WI was this morning and I lost 2lbs. Dh bought cinnabons yesterday and I told him if I lost 2 lbs I would have one. He bought me a blueberry one and it was sooo yummy!! Friday night we took the kids to the store so DD could spend her birthday money. She was so sweet, she bought toys and movies for her and her brother!! Very nice of her. While I was helping DD pick out movies DH was looking at the new releases and grabbed "13 going on 30" without me even mentioning it! He even watched it with me later that night! I'm planning on some steaks on the grill with baked potatoes and corn on the cob for dinner.

QOTD- I also listen to a wide variety of music. In my car's cd player right now are Nora Jones' 2 cd, fleetwood mac, 2 barney cds and 1 sesame street cd. But I also own sting, alicia keyes, dido, Dave Matthews Band(one of my favorites), Beyonce, John Mayer, Annie Lennox, Janet Jackson, Eminem, Sean Paul, Madonna, The cure, Shania Twain, Faith Hill!! The list goes on!!!
