As to the Carri points flub, I think I should let you guys know something that I have never explained. I do not ASK for points from people who haven't posted and the reason is, I think it is something you have to decide to do. WHY? Well, for one thing, you may be embarrassed you have done lousy for several days and don't want to announce it so to speak and for another, it is your decision to make and not mine to force on you. Just wanted you to know that and Carri, I am glad I can now rest easy that Dementia has not yet seemed to start!

YOU GIRLS HAVE TO GO AND RENT THESE TWO MOVIES IF YOU HAVEN'T. ONE IS THE BEST FAMILY MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN AND THE OTHER IS A GREAT "DATE" NIGHT MOVIE WITH HUBBY OR BF. The family movie is "Secondhand Lions" starring Robert Duvall and Michael Caine. You will laugh, cry, and AUHHHHHH a lot. The other one is "Something's Gotta Give" with Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton. Hilarious, sweet and even the guys will get a kick out of it I guarantee. Run don 't walk to the Blockbuster for these!

OK, YOU AIN'T A GONNA BELIEVE THIS, BUT THE OLE FAYESTER LOST.....DRUM ROLL PLEASE.....A WHOPPING 12 LBS THIS WEEK! Ok, factor in one of the pills I am on is a diuretic for bp, that my beginning weight was taken at the drs with all my clothes on and I was in a gown this morning and 1 lbs for possible difference in scales (though I weighed myself on my scales when I got home on Monday and they were the same) Let's see, doing my syferin' um -5 for water, -3 for clothes -1 for scale, I would say that still gives me a good ole down 3 lbs from staying OP and exercising every day. I think I just may make my goal of twoterville by July 1!!!!

Cleaning upstairs and need to finish so I can get out in the pool. It was 76 degrees at 5 am this morning so it is going to be a hot one!

Man, I've been running to the bathroom all morning!! I could have gotten my exercises done and everything...but NO... I had to have a friggin virus or something!

I keep wondering if it was something I ate, but no one else is sick. I'm a little better now, but my daughter is awake now, so no exercising for right now. I guess I'll wait until later. My daughter is tripping. In some ways she is ahead of other babies her age, and in some ways she isnt! I know that all kids are different, but I swear she is 19 mths and still doesnt want to hold her own bottle half the time..yes bottle! She is not even thinking about getting off of it, and I'm not going to force her either! We bought her a potty, but shedoesnt want to sit on it, she stood up and walked a couple of steps and just pee'd on the floor! Last night she kept me up all night crying, then I put her in our bed and she goes right back to sleep. So I get up and put her back in hers and she may sleep for 30 minutes and cry again. I let it go on about 4 times and after that she won. I've been thinking about changing her crib to the transitional bed...which I think is before the toddler bed!?! But she sleeps so bad, I'm scared she's going to fall out.

Oh well now I'm just rambling. I have no idea what I"m eating today, My hubby wants me to cook hot dogs.....which as you know is not included in my plan!! I cant find fat free or low fat hotdogs like everyone else does!! But I did find some fat free shredded cheese. I might buy me some wheat buns. I guess I"ll just have to stick with the regular chilli. We are so broke right now it doesnt make any sense. Then it just so happens to be the time my sis gets here and we cant' even go anywhere fun or anything. My hubby buying that truck in TX made everything worse. He just had to have that truck sooo bad even though we discussed getting a family vehicle. Yes, it holds the whole family, but that doesnt mean it's a family vehicle!! But here I go complaining again, then although most of the bills and stuff we have are due to him, he tried to fuss at me about my cell phone bill being 100.00. Ok his was more than mine!! And he wanted to act like we dont have any money because of my phone bill..... Please!!! It's not even paid yet and probably will be cut off soon anyway. He goes around the house moping talking about me and my sis make too much noise laughing and stuff. He's acting like such as a** hole right now. It's like hedoesnt want me to enjoy myself ever!! I finally have someone to clown with and hang with and he's mad about it. He acts like he doesnt even wanna watch our daughter while me and sis are cleaning up and stuff. I dont even make her clean up, I just ask her to help me out. She isnt babysitting or anything. He acts like she is a burden on our finances also!! But she's been buying her own food! And I didnt even want that to happen. Dang, I am being negative again!! I just need to get this off my chest.

Well I guess this makes up for missing Wednesdays woes!!!! That figures! Well I dont weigh in until Saturday. I tried changing it to Fridays to participate better, but my body doesnt lose on Fridays or something I guess!!Well I'll make a few comments and get my butt up.

Cat90- That is tooo funny!!! It started off as a short post, but then of course I procrastinated as usual and played around!! Bad Habit I guess!! Well sorry about the eating thingy!! Although the pizza sounds good! I"ve been having the same guilt problem, even when I dont go over my calories!! I dont know why, I should just let it go!

Faye- Good job with the loss!!! See what I mean, all the things you are going through and you still managed to lose....I"m so jealous of you!!!!

Satine- My sis swears by midol....I've never tried it, I carried it around in my purse for my whole TOM. I'm dumb, because the "aleve" wasnt working. I actually had cramps and a headache this time. Well you could always try the midol if nothing else works!!

Julie- that class sounds fun!!!! I wish we had something like that!! You'll knock those 2 lbs off and then some with that new class!!! Have fun!!

Jaymi, hope you feel better soon as for your daughter why don't you put her in the transitional bed and get in with her until she falls asleep and then creep out you could push it against the wall and put a chest of drawers or something on the other side so that she does'nt fall out as for hubby just put HIM INSIDE the chest of drawers

Carri, hope the cramps are better now my mum used to swear by indian brandy so did the nurse at school i can remember sitting in the sick bay drinking that in hot water it did work tho'

My stomach is better today. I don't know what it is. I had this happen last term at school. For about 2 weeks off and on I had just the worst stomach pain. Not cramps, much higher. Then it went away. I did go so far as going to this walk in clinic, (I don't have health insurance), but as I was sitting there I noticed the place looked really shabby. Then the doctor came out for the person in front of me and he looked, well for lack of a better word, shabby as well. He didn't even have a nurse to come out and call the people back. I got a bad feeling about the whole thing and left. Not long after that the pain went away and didn't come back until now.

Jaymi - I'm the same way when I start a diet. Caffine withdrawls give me a serious headache for several days.

Julie / Carri - Dont worry you'll be losing again soon. It is never a straight line losing weight.

Faye - I hope you're feeling better today. You could come to my house and work off some of that anger cleaning. My sister will be here tonight and I have been doing major house cleaning and it still won't be enough lol.

Cat - I think anytime you can get yourself to exercise when you don't want to deserves a huge pat on the back. It just isn't easy to do it.

Amanda - Hope you're feeling better as well. I had a serious sinus infection a few years ago and ever since I have problems off and on with being dizzy. It is a horrible feeling.

Cat: I was interested in what you said about tarts and did some research. While it is true that in the US tarts are filled with fruit, in other countries that is not so and actually, a treacle tart is filled with a combination of syrup, breadcrumbs and a little lemon juice. Doesn't sound that yummy to me but I guess the folks in Great Britain like it! As for heavy cream, I use it to make ice cream or whipped cream, period. I know that English people serve it in a bowl with scones and like Amanda was saying it is called clotted cream there I guess.

Beth: Hope you are much much better now and YEAH for the loss this week!

I watched the President's funeral and it was very moving. President Bush gave a wonderful eulogy and if someone wanted to hurt this country boy bombing that place would have taken out the entire supreme court, both Pres and VP were there along with the house and senate and lots and lots of foreign governments. Thank goodness we had great security! May I just say, Peace be with you Mrs. Regan, we have lost a very great man in your husband.

Jaymi: I LOVE hot dogs and we occasionally have them. Louis Rich makes a turkey frank and Oscar Mayer, which owns Louis Rich btw makes a lowfat frank that tastes pretty good. You can also get turkey chili with no beans by Hormel and it tastes delicious, in fact we can't tell the difference. So if you are in to chili dogs, you can make a pretty decent one and be pretty low fat too.

Faye - Congrats on the weight loss....you are doing really well. I too take a water pill with my bp meds and it did that to me the first few weeks of taking it, I dropped like 10 pounds the first week, it was wonderful, but it did not last, I do however still have potty issues, I tend to go all of the time with it...
especially with how much water I drink...

Beth - Woo hoo on your weight loss this week, you also did a great job...Ya know i have this weird painful stomach thing about once a month, it used to last for about 5 mins when it started and now when I have it sometimes it can be like 20 mins or more...it is a bad stomach cramp, it is hard to explain but I wonder if what you are having is similar. I have never been to the Dr for it but if it ever lasts as long as 2 days I would be right there cause I couldnt stand it...my Mom had gaul bladder ( sp? ) problems and finally had to it have it removed she says what I describe sounds like what she had, so it does worry me....

Cat - Yeah you join the Winner/Gainers group this week....aww we cant be too hard on ourselves, we can lose it...besides I had too much fun gaining it last week while on vacation, I had so much good food!!!!!!

Also I forgot to say that I love that Turkey Chili from Hormel that Faye mentioned, I use it alot, I normally use it making a low fat taco salad for myself, I lay down a serving of tortilla chips ( I use the reg ones, cant stand the baked ), put down a layer of the turkey chili, then top with lettuce, tomatoes, a little low fat cheese and low fat
sour creme and girls it is so good and hardly any fat...you should try it....

Boy I have a peach for a dil. She just called us out of the blue tonight to talk to us. Our son is in Dallas doing some kind of martial arts clinic (he is a black belt in some kind of "itsu" It is the combat form of Jujitsu using those poles, knives and what not. He sure does love it and he has only been doing it about a year now.

I talked dh into watching Something's Gotta Give and he loved it. He said he was surprised he liked it, but it is hilarious I think.

PS to Carri: I pee all the time taking the pills or not but it gets to be old getting up 3-5 times a night. I am looking into "Big Girl" Depends.....
