Holly~Sorry to hear that you are having problems with the construction still. Hope it gets all cleared up soon. ((hugs))

Had a busy weekend~wait we ALWAYS have busy weekends! I wish I could just take a weekend off and sit and read, or just lay around. We did get a chance to go out, and that was fun. Went to a fundraiser for a friend's school, and saw two good comidians(SP?) Had a little too much beer, but it was all for a good cause. Have to get back to my housework.

Hugs to all the great ladies here!!!!

Doing well so far. Not overeating. When we got back from a church program last night I thought about having a couple of cookies but looked at my points and I was over by a bit. Decided to not make it any worse. That's a small victory because there have been times when I would have thought, "Oh well, it's already messed up just blow it and start over tomorrow". That is not the thinking of the new me!

We had to dress up at work today for our pictures and I feel so pretty and coportate in my suit. I wore my bodyshaper under it and I look so trim. It's sort of a preview for me. It's hard to imagine what I will look like with so much weight gone so this helps to visualize and I think that is important.

I got a lot done around the house this morning and when things are orderly, I stay on track so much easier. I know it can't always be that way and I need to learn to overcome it but also it's a tool. If I feel out of control then I know what will get me back in.

This is such a great place of support. Thanks to all of you!

Hi Everyone..

Welcome to the journey Cayzee & Miafluker. Great place for support.

Jiggly - WTG, great job on the loss.

Susie - I am with you all the way on the weight loss journey, you must of read my mind.

Sarah - Great job listening to your body about the food from BK. Mind over matter.

Holly - Great piece of writing about the sewer project. Hope they take a listen to what you have to say.

Just cannot seem to focus and entire day on the WW gig. I do good till evening. I must get a grip, I will get a grip on this weightloss project.

Son is recovering great. He goes tomorrow to get his cast off and stitches out. He will then be in a half cast, that is removeable for shower time, for 3 or 4 weeks.

Took DS last night to rent his tux for the prom. Holy smokes. Right at 100. bucks, and that was from the BUDGET section of the rental book. He originally picked another tux, but when they showed us the prices, that was nixed. The one he wanted was around 200. bucks. Prom is April 29. Then there is dinner, the flowers, gas for the car. Holy crap. He is only a junior, so we will be doing this again next year. Thank God I only had two children. LOL

Here's to better results in the weight department.
CHEERS!!

Have a great Tuesday!

(((HUGS)))

Annie

Good morning,
We are having such pretty weather in Ohio, it's hard not to feel renewed full of energy!

DH and I took a 45 min brisk walk last night in the neighborhood instead of going to the Y. It was nice to have the change of pace. I then came home and did some push ups for toning and some pilates too. Not a power workout but I felt great afterwards!

I'm doing well on my food and keeping my journal caught up. I really want another loss at the scales on Thursday. It's been so long since I've had a loss for 2 weeks in a row!

Welcome to Mia!

Annie:So you are having trouble in the evenings? That's a hard time for me too. Is it because you aren't as busy? Are you nuturing yourself in the evenings with food because you have been so busy all day long and not given yourself attention? I know these are things I've identified with my problems in the evenings. Try and find the source then you can fix it. You are doing great. Keep it up!

Jiggly:12 flights of stairs! Think how amazing your calves and butt will look if you do them everyday!

I must get busy with work. Have a great day!

This is a really quick post but I had a thought! Evenings!!!!!!

I'm not a 'oh all the housework has to be done' to sit and relax, I don't have kids to see to and I don't watch TV much - Monday night is about it when I watch The Apprentice but I find that a good yak on an instant messenger with mates is great for keeping me out of the nibbles! I belong to a PCOS Support forum and have made some great friends on there over the years, some I have been chatting to for 5 years or so.

SO...if any of you need a distraction from the kitchen and the cookie jar, don't feel like watching TV etc etc jump on MSN Messenger and find me.

Just click on the MSN link under my avatar there, and Bob's your uncle!

If you don't have MSN, I have yahoo and aim too, I just don't always have them on, MSN is on most of the day so...

If ya fancy a good ole yak with a Brit who spells funny and says weird things that Americans don't always understand...come join me!

I am on Eastern Time BTW...

Sarah

Hi everybody and welcome Miafluker. I joined recently and I'm getting closer to the "onederland" as you called it. I love it! I lost 5 lbs this week. Yippee! I'm actually hopeful that this weight loss is gonna happen all the way down to my goal. This is a terrific feeling because I've failed so many other times. So many good things happening too. My back is hurting a LOT less, and I've been able to give up some of the meds I was on. Imagine! All this from eating right and exercising. So...199, here I come!

Idol was FAB!!!! It was Queen. The old rocker in my had a blast.
Bucky went first and sang Fat bottomed girls. Top 5 fav song of my life!!
Taylor gave me goose bumps. my picks are Taylor, Bucky, Katherine,Elliott.

Kids and DH are sleeping, he got home at 6:30 pm, 12 hour day, ate supper, took a long bath and went to sleep. Poor guy.

I am feeling peaceful and relaxed!!

Gonna watch Gilmore Girls at 10 and cuddle wiht the kittes and maybe a rodent!

See ya!

Congrats Cayzee!

Was able to weigh in today (usually weigh in on Mondays but I had to work but I was off today). Tummy was feeling queasy cause I was so certain that I gained, got on that scale, and watched it weigh me in at 242 1/2! Which means that I've lost 4 1/2 pounds this week, 9 1/2 total, and 1/2 lb away from meeting my Easter goal! And Easter is five days away! YAY!

Welcome AMureen! I'm not a vegitarian but I do believe there is a special forum on here for vegitarians.

Good Morning!!

Warm here but rain and thunderstorms all day. Thank goodness I had ALL the kids yesterday. Can you imagine 9 kids cooped up in the house for 10 hours?? YIKES. Big kids in school, 3 little people here.

I have caught spring fever. I am feeling hopeful and renewed. Getting my hands in the dirt the last 2 days was exactly whay my heart needed. Didn’t realize I had been a shack wacky. My daffodils are about to burst open. I have day lilies, daisies, irises, mint, sage, lemon balm, rhubard, bleeding hearts, peonies and breaking thru the earth!!!!!

DS made some hurdles last night and was running full tilt and leaping over them, clearing at least 3 feet in the air. I will be asking his teacher what grade they start track and field in. He is a good athlete in all sports that he tries.
He is so little, only 40 lbs, but soooo stong, he is a solid muscle and like spring ready to be sprung at any moment.

My friend is designing an ad for me for the magazine. It is a couple hundred bucks. I am hoping It will return 10 fold. It is very inexpensive comparatively. I can run an ad for 6 issues. They come out every 2 months.

I am feeling inspired!!!!

I have my desserts for Easter planned. Need to build a veggie tray to take to SIL’s on Sat.
I found these mini crunchy dill pickles!!! Yum!!

No plans for today yet. Need to think on that.

I have two baskets of wash to fold. I guess that’s a start. Maybe shovel all the mud out of the back hall!!!

Have a rockin day !!!
