Good Afternoon ladies. Thanks so much for the welcome, I think I'm gonna like it here.

Having a rough go of it today, very discouraged about my lack of weight loss and sorta just feeling like what's the use. Woke up feeling very blah about everything and haven't been able to shake it yet. I am hiding from the kitchen right now, trying to keep myself from eating what I shouldn't or worse, bingeing.

Weather here is in the low 70's with a threat of rain. Believe that when I see it! We've gone 134 days w/out any measurable rain, find it hard to believe it'll start now. Seriously though, living in the desert without rain for so long = nasty fire season come summer. The 80's are supposed to be hitting us consistently starting next week, so long winter. Yeah, right, if you can count 60 degree weather as winter!

Ladies you are doing so well with your paths to success, what a great inspiration. I'm so glad I found this thread, I really really need it.

Make today a great day! I'll check in on you all later, gotta go busy myself with some laundry. Fun stuff, yep!

Good afternoon ladies!

Well it's sunny and cold in NJ, I so wish it would warm up a bit so I could go tackle my new yard and get a little exercise at the same time. I'm doing good with my eating, still a bit worried that I am not eating enough, but I'm eating the same as I was before just different good (amount/how often etc) foods! I was kinda bad last night, hubby has had a bad tummy and the only thing that is helping him is Chinese hot and sour soup and I had 2 spring rolls and then some sugar free jello. I didn't overeat, I underate but the wrong stuff - tried to find the GI rating for spring rolls on the net but couldn't find it anywhere - now there's some guilt! I had a wonderful sleep last night, not drinking tea after 9pm and having some carbs seem to help a bit. I went to bed at 10.30, I was asleep by 10.45 and I didn't wake up until 6am when the dog ran in the room but I went right back to sleep. I finally got out of bed at 10am!

Girlie: Yes I have PCOS too <sigh>. I was diagnosed 20 years ago. Wish there had been the treatments there are now, I mght have been less overweight for the past 20 years...

Well, that's about it for now, feeling good about myself today, I am even ignoring the huge grey streak in my hair that awaits it's hairdresser's appt later this week!

Hello All,
It's been a busy week for me at work and I haven't had much computer time.
I've been doing ok with my food this week. I always seem to get off track after my Thursday night weigh-in and then I don't focus again until Monday.

I've decided to make it my goal to not have a cheat night after tonight's weigh-in. Because it turns into a cheat weigh-in.

I've walked every night this week...feels good to be consistant. I want to get back to the weight room next week.

I don't have a lot of times to do personals but Welcome to all the new people and Girlie it's good to see you back. I can relate to not having tea and such. With IC I can't have anything acidic so that rules out fruit, chocolate, tea, soda and coffee. You would think that losing weight would be easy when I can't have all those things, but I love vanialla ice cream and sugar cookies so there's the factor that I deal with.

I haven't seen Debbie on here since she posted that she was having a hard time focusing. Debbie: We love you and we support you. You have done so well for so long..don't give up now. I know what it's like to start a new job and then be overwhelmed, but don't give up on your goals and your dreams.

That's all the time I have today ladies. Thanks for all the posts and all the information that's in them. I'm going to check out links later and such.

I hope to get here tomorrow.

Susie

Hello everyone,

I had a great week this week. I really like the new WW plan with the daily point target and the 35 "spare" points rather than the old plan with simply ranges. I feel so much more free about what I can eat and that I don't have to plan so obsessively. I can take whatever food obstacles come at me and don't feel like I have "blown it". Because on this plan, you truly can eat whatever you want, whenever...It's all about moderation.

I have been up every morning at 4.30a to get in 50 minutes of jogging on the elliptical. I've been getting between 3.5 and 4 miles. My goal is to get back to doing 4.5 miles in 65 minutes. But right now, I just want to be consistent and go, and get my exercise in. My first weigh in is tomorrow. I just want to see the scale go DOWN!!!

Danielle - WELCOME!!!

Susie:
I know what you mean about feeling good because you're consistent! Also, I know what you mean about a cheat weigh-in. That's how I used to be...I'd exercise hard and eat little the 2 days before weigh-in to lose a pound but it wasn't truly being consistent!

Sarah:
I love NH. I grew up in and around Philly. I think hubby and I would like to live in the Cherry Hill area someday.

Shout outs to: Ellen, Annie and Holly and Nan and Debbie and whoever I missed!

Hello all!

I know what 199 feels like! It feels great...but for me it didn't last long. A couple of years ago i worked really hard to get to 199, and when i did, i guess i went "okay, i'm done" cause i gained most of the weight back! Not good! So here i am again, and i'm not going to stop until i get to my goal, cause i know what gaining it all back is like and i DO NOT want to do that again!

We can all do it!

Hey friends,
I'VE MISSED EVERYONE.!!! I hope I've finally got my head out of my rear. I just slid into a funk. I've not been going to curves or posting my food on ww. I've just fell back into all my old habits.
I just bought a couple of new t-shirts yesterday and they were 18-20. The smallest size I've been since '97. It was a real wake up call. I've came too far to mess up now.
Those t-shirts were JMS and they are in some nice spring colors. They are really light and cool. Which is great for here.

My new game plan:
1) go to bed earlier
2) get up at 5am
3) do watp dvd in am
4) post food daily
5) stay with in my pt range.
6) go to curves 3x wkly
7) last but for sure not least post here daily. I know that I truly need everyones love and support.

to all the newbies.

I'll do more personals later. We are going for a m/c ride to Oklahoma today. so Dh is giving me that old "Come on, wifey" look..LOL
Later.

DEBBIE~Hugs. I am so glad to se you back. We all missed you. Great job with the t-shirts. I am hoping to get back into 18-20's soon.

I blew it a little yesterday, I had the TOM munchies and I am hoping I did not do too much damage. But I did mainly snack on carrots...Oh well, anything to get throught this yuckiness.

Have to run to church. Later chicas

Woke up to a surprise this morning--ice and snow! We've been able to see grass for weeks, so it was definitely a surprise, though in Iowa you never know!

I re-lost the 2 pounds I gained in early Feb, so I'm back to 216. Hoping for a loss this week while I'm on Spring Break. I KNOW I will get extra exercising done. I just have to keep busy so I don't do that mindless munching I am so prone to doing!

Debbie: it sounds like you have a great plan for yourself! I wish I could be that organized and motivated! I quit Curves, since I hadn't gone for months. I refuse to PAY for weight loss meetings. I know I am not organized enough to count points. I just do my WATP or treadmill and TRY for portion control.

Hi to all you other lovely ladies! I'm hoping to get back to posting here on a regular basis. I just miss too much when I'm gone for so long (though I DO read most posts!)!

Have a great Sunday!

Michele : )

Happy Sunday everyone. It's wonderful to meet some of you girls I haven't met yet. It looks like everyone is so ready to get on track and keep going in the right direction. You girls rock!

Charliekay, you're doing an amazing job so far, keep going! You're worth it!

Michele, great job on the 2lb loss! With time off you'll definitely lose some weight, that's exciting. Mindless munching is my m.o. as of late, so if you don't do it, I won't either, k?

upswife, why must TOM wreak so much havoc on us girls? At least you munched carrots instead of the junk I tend to go for. Go you!

Debbie, it's good to see you here. I can tell that these lovely ladies truly care for you, they've missed you tremendously. It's wonderful to meet you.
We all go thru that funk, it's awful sometimes, but you pulled your way out and here you are. Good for you! I just got a JMS catalog in the mail yesterday and they've got some really cute stuff for spring. Where did you buy your t-shirts? They sound very comfy. Chin up, the plan you've listed sounds fantastic, I know you can do this! Enjoy that ride with hubby.

Cannot seem to get the scale moving girls. I have a dr's appt. (rather a "shrink" appt.) and I'm thinking it's the meds I am on that is causing this resistance to the scale. I work out faithfully 6x a week and eat below 1500 cal. every day. I've never ever had this problem losing before so it's alittle discouraging when I'm working so hard-harder than I ever have before in fact.
Will see what she has to say tomorrow. If this doesnt seem to be the case then I will have blood work done again (even tho I just had this done about 6mon. ago) and have my thyroid checked completely along w/ insulin levels again. *sigh* why must this thing be so complicated and frustrating. You don't hear men complaining when they're dropping pounds by the bucketfull! They lose so easily without any of the issues we endure. Argh!
Ok, I'm done complaining. Gonna head off for my workout and have some lunch.

Be good to you girls! You're worth the effort!!!!

Hello,
I had a horrible weigh-in. I really didn't think that I had done that badly but at the scales I had a 3 lb gain.

I am proud of myself that I didn't and have not had a "cheat" night or day after the weigh-in. I really want to start loosing something every week and I can't let my guard down for a minute. I'm not strong enough right now to do that.

I'm about to head out to the Y for a workout. I haven't worked out on Sundays for a long time and I thought to myself today that there is no time like the present.

Debbie: It's good to see you again and to see you have a plan in place. I'm planning on making it here everday even if for just a short post. I'm looking forward to seeing you as well.

Welcome to all the new people. I'm looking forward to getting to know you.

Holly: What's up lady?

Girlie: Sounds like you are in a good place right now. Keep up the good work and don't take on to much at one time. I tend to get excited and go crazy with workouts and such but it isn't something I can keep up for more than 2 weeks. It's a race but it's one that we have to pace ourselves to finish. I know I'm going to see you at that finish line!

Charlie K: It's hard to come here and admit that you have lost motivation. But we all do it. So, think about why you want to lose weight, pick one reason and start to use it as your motivation. Also posting every day helps to keep most people on track.

Ok..I've got to get moving.

Susie

hello all.....

Boy sounds like a lot of funkiness going around....me too! I have been trying.....not counting calories, but really watching the food. After counting cal of years....I have a good idea that I am in the 1200-1600 cal range a day, depending on the day and the events. Shoot I went out to dinner twice this week and didn't order, just shared with my BF, so i know I wasn't eating much...heck we had baked fish!!!! Exercising 3-4 times a week....and exercising hard too....2 1/2 miles in 40 minutes....and nothing!!!!

I had wanted to lose some, any, but my brothers wedding next week....no luck.

I so related to your post Danielle.....I am on Paxil and I often wonder if it is just a huge fight with that. Also take Micronor for heavy TOM.....not like I want to give up either, but I just seem so resistant to losing when I do try hard. i know I can not give uo the Paxil.....tried and that was quite unpleasant for my friends!!! LOL.... Danielle I would like to know what you DR says!!! keep me posted!
