Hello,
Wanted to get here and get a quick post in before the day got away from me. I feel so much more in control now that Christmas is over. I think that I'll have a loss this week at my Thursday weighin. I went to Pilates last night. I hadn't been there for 2 weeks...sure can tell it this morning!;) Jiggly: Wow! You did great at the scales. Congrats on the red star! :carrot: UPS: How did you do with the water? Debbie: I have no doubt that you will make that 15 lb goal by Easter. I need to come up with one for myself. I have decided to do a couple of things to motivate me. I would love to wear one of those little cute workout outfits that I see when I go into Finish Line and look at the Women's clothes. I know that some manufacutres make plus size workout clothes, but I've never seen any in the Nike Apperal and I love that line. I'm going to go by it, in a XL and work to get into it this year. Does that sound crazy? Well, time to get to work. Have a great day ladies. Susie |
Evening Ladies!
My day was okay, didn't slip up yet! I got one of my colleagues at work to take a look at the ww webbie, she's thinking of joining which would be great, at least I won't be the only crazy lady who refuses to eat those divine chocolate croissants they have at work. I found out the oddest thing yesterday when trying out a shirt. I realized that one of my bat-wings is bigger than the other, my right upper arm fit perfectly into the shirt while it was too snug around my left one!. And it was really obvious, my sis actually pointed that out without me telling her..lol I'm really getting sick of them, almost every other part of my upper body is slimmer and a bit toned except for my upper arms! ugh! Susie: I think that’s a great way to motivate yourself! I personally have my eye on an amazing dress I'm hoping to fit into by Jan *fingers crossed*. I hope everyone is doing well, keep it up ladies  emma |
Evening everyone!
I just came across this site and think its great! I hope you don't mind me joining you?? I've been in my own little race to 199 now for years and thought that some good company might help!! :) |
Hey everyone,
I had a fair day. I ate better for sure. I had points left over today...:carrot: I hope I get my sugar beast under control. I knew I goofed when I made the 2 cheesecakes. I used a lowerfat recipe but I forgot I was going to use splenda for half the sweetener. OOPS! I went to curves this am but she wasn't open and wouldn't be open in time for me to get to work. Missy: :welcome3: We love all the company we can get. Just jump right in. You'll find lot's of support here. Emma: :bravo: Great job...losing during the holidays. Is it really your arms or did they just not sew the shirt right? Susie: :carrot: My friend gave me a size 20 black dress. I kept trying it on. At first I couldn't pull it over my hips, then I got it down and it was so tight I worried I'd bust a seam. Now I can wear it. So buy the workout suit and keep trying it on till it fits ;) Holly:  How are you, my busy friend? Destressing from the holidays...:dizzy: Ups: Thats sure a cute pix of kiddo. :grouphug: |
Debster~ the holidays were stress free, the previous 5 months were not, LOL!!! I am still in holiday mode til Jan 9 when kidlets go back to school.
Welcome to the new chicks. Lets do this!!!!! Better, not great. I ate my 4 cups of veg but also had some gingerbread and peanut brittle. Today I will do better again; no sweets!!! Nice day. Hello,
Tonight is my last weigh-in for 2005. I've worked hard all week to show a loss...I hope the scales show it. I know that I feel much better though since I've not filled up on sugar this week and I've worked out. It's amazing how our bodies function better when we give it the proper fuel and take it for a spin! Debbie: I'm going to go and buy it. I can't wait to fit into it...I know I will...keep reminding me of it and ask me about it will you please? Missy: WELCOME. This is the greatest bunch of ladies I've ever met! They offer a lot of support. Emma: Are you talking about your tricipes? Do you do exercises for them? Holly: I took a look at your list. I need to clean up my dining room to and get the Christmas stuff put away as well. Did you eat your veggies and do the sun salutations? I must get busy at work. Talk to you later. Susie |
:welcome2: Missy~This is a great bunch of ladies!!
Just a short note this AM I am not doing very well. I have not been feeling well and it has been messing with my sleep. IO have not exercised since b4 Christmas and I haven't eaten very well either. I know I will get motivated soon, but it has been hard to just get things done. I will try to do better today, but I am really looking forward to exercising soon! (My body Hurts :( ) Well, I have to go sigh papers for a new car.~our truck died on us this week. DH had the truck since before we started dating. I will miss it so much. See you all later |
Thanks for the welcome! I'm really starting "fresh" AGAIN :( But I'm really motivated...which I wasn't before. I'm joining the gym and going to check out a TOPS meeting.
I'm not sure what I've gained over the holidays but I'm sure its something. 2006 WILL be the year of Change for me! |
Yay, I madew it through the new car hassles today! After our mechanic checks it out we will be in the clear, and not have to buy again for a Little while(our other car is only 1yr old) Long day but did pretty well witht he food.
B-coffee s-granola bar(190cal) l-spinich and lettuce salad with crab meat d-1/2 (4in) roast beef sub and diet coke(I don't do diets, so this was an accomplishment) Catch you all later |
I did EVERYTHING I planned to today AND relaxed and played with the kiddies!!!
I spent 2 hours today at Flylady.net really reading through the ideas and plans and I did set up a Cleaning Journal for myself. The also have a Body Clutter segment too but 1 thing at a time. The mess in my house has been the bane of my exixtance for several months. I did mucho better with food today. For supper i whipped up a veggie sauce and WW pasta and told myself of we dont need a salad and then I told myself YES you DO!!! Welcome Missy!! HUGS UPS!!! Well ,Susie was it a loss?? Are we going to do a 15 pounds lost by Easter Challenge?????? HUH??? I will give you permission to holler at me for being lazy! |
Morning Ladies :)
Missy-Rose: Welcome aboard, we're always trying to help eachother here. Try not to give up and make this year your weight-loss year. You and people around you will start noticing the difference in the shape of your body and how your clothes fit soon. keep it up!! Susie: I do exercise them, 3 times a week; I follow a dvd where they use weights in 3 different exercises concentrating on triceps. Debbie: it is my arm, because the left one "looks" bigger  I guess its beucase I use my right more. Keep going ladies :cheer: |
Good Luck to everyone today. I am staring out better today so hopefully everything else will fall in line.

Hey everyone,
I did fair again today. We were very busy at work so I did lots of walking. B-oatmeal L-lean gourmet meal, Mcd side salad D-Mcd cobb salad w/lite Italian S-100 cal bag of popcorn I called curves and they will be open tomorrow. I haven't been in 2 weeks. I can really feel it. I put in my WATP dvd and pooped out at a 1/2 mile. Holly::?: Holler at you for what??? You do more in one day than I do in a week. Lazy... My foot...LOL. Ups: After a while diet drinks will taste right and the others taste strange. Missy: Stick with us and we'll all win this race. One baby step at a time. Don't dwell on what you might have gained during the holidays. Just think about the now. You can do this. Susie: It's a deal. I was so amazed when I finally got in that dress. That was a real motivator. As silly as it sounds. It is a second hand dress but I liked it. :newyear: :grouphug: |
Good Morning!!! Happy Last day of 2005. I must say it has been a fabulous year for me and my family. As I drove to London yesterday( it was sunny and a beautiful clear blue sky) I cried softly remembering all of those close to us who had died. It started in Sept 2003, my cat Bonnie died and then my maternal Grandmother in October and then a series of beyond imagineable unrelated tragedies killed 3 of our friends and then a child died. I thought of each person and those they left behind. 2004 was an entire year defined by monumental grief and loss and endings. 2005 has been a year of renewal and redefining who we are, picking the few good pieces from the past and letting go of all the rubbish and then adding in the love and caring we have for each other and creating a family of strength and happiness. It has been a beautiful metamorphis.
So, now we are standing on a plateau with a vast future ahead and feel fully empowered to be completely fulfilled.Endless possibilites. Wishing each of you and rich and blessed year. |
Hello,
I wish everyone a Happy New Year! Isn't it exciting to think that we have a whole new 365 days ahead of us to reach our goals, live our dreams and write a new chapter in our lives? I had a good weigh-in on Thursday, lost 2 lbs. I'm going to work very hard to have no gains from now to Easter. I would like to loose 8-10 lbs by then. In TOPS gains are written in red and my goal is to have a all black weight log when Easter come. We are celebrating my husbands 50th birthday tonight with a dinner party for 16 people at a swanky resturant. I'm wearing a black velvet gown...I feel like Cinderella in it! He is aware of the party but what he doesn't know is I have this person coming as the Grim Reaper! It's going to be great! I'll talk to you all tomorrow. Susie |
