Hey Ladies...sorry I've been MIA. I've been so horrible lately *sigh* junk food, junk food and more junk food. Mixed with not working out! After I lost 4 pounds last week...now I've probably gained some back *sigh* I NEED to be good. Starting right NOW!!!

I can't go for a walk right now... but tomorrow morning before I do ANYTHING I will exercise!

I'm so frustrated with myself.

Hi everyone,
I've done fairly well today. Took dgs to Game Stop his b-day gift. He's really into video games.
We went to I finally ate only a little hamburger. Usually I give in and eat a large sandwich and fries on top of that.
The weather is really nice. I'm going to see if ds1 will go for a walk with me.
Then all we have planned is a lazy evening watching tv.

LB: Pat yourself on the back for the 4 lb lost. Fogive yourself for the little binge and get back on track. There's a new day coming...

Holly: Hope you enjoy your evening out. WOW... a grown up evening I don't think I can remember what to do...LOL

Jenn: Good to hear from you. Have fun shopping.

Annie: If you are just looking in. We miss you.

It has been a pretty good day food wise. I've had a little more sugar than I would like to. I have had 2 regular Rootbeers and I rarely drink soda. I won't have anymore until next weekend. I've got to be careful and not let that sugar monster sneak up on me! I really have a hard time keep that in control and I can tell that it's not good for me and not just because of the weight. When I have to much I start to feel mean and out of sorts.

Had a fight with DH today. I'm not over it yet. What I'm not over if that he will say such hurtful things when he is mad. He says he doesn't mean them later, but you know I know that there is some true feelings in what he is saying. We usually get along but I think he is angry with me for getting so much out of life these days. He has said that he feels left out. I've tried to explain to him that when I'm happy with me I can be a better life partner for him, but I can see that pity party attitude he has on. Anyone else deal with these things?

Debbie: Great job on the hamburger. You are making so many life style changes. I'm proud of you.

LB: You did great with the 4 lbs. Don't give up. I'm sure you haven't done much damage to that loss. Just get up and get going again.

Holly: Give us the details on your evening out. It sounds like a fun time for you.

Anne: Are you here with us? We miss you!!

JEO: How did the Christmas shopping go? I've got a little start on it..not enough though!

I'm going to go and relax with my new Oprah mag. Have a great evening.

Susie

Hello Ladies

I have been missing in action since school has started. I took a new special ed job this year. I have always worked with autistic children, so for a year, took on 2 different students altogether. One child has downs syndrome the other is non-diagnosed. Needless to say, I am over stressed, and just plain exhausted. I wanted a challenge, and now that I have it, want my old job back.

I needed to check in, to "see" how everyone is doing. I just spent over one hour reading posts. It is great to be back.

I am not losing since school started. I have only gained 3 pounds since the start of school, but I do know that I want them to LEAVE.

So, I am back, going to be accountable, and getting back in the groove. I literally haven't stepped on my treadmill since Sept. but this week was a turning point, did it 3 times. So, HI to all.

Will be checking in weekly.

Sandi

It is so good to hear from you. I'm so glad your doing well. We really missed you. We are all still working towards onderland.
Great job maintaining.
Sounds like your job is a real challenge. Down syndrome kids are so lovable.
When I was young I worked at a state school for a while. I loved it.

Susie: My dh does that. How can they say they didn't mean it. The thought came from somewhere...right.
Your right you have to be happy with yourself to be happy in your marriage.

HO HO HO!!!!!!
The halls are mostly decked. Turkey ready to go into oven.DD is at a sleepover. I woke and made coffee and heard odd sounds in the basement. It was DS playing by himself. Unheard of but so wonderful!! Hubby is taking DS to church.
I will put on Christmas music and putter away. My pies made from the kid’s pumpkins turned out beautifully.

The 40th party last night was like a big hug. My old highschool crowd has not gotten together in over a year. Several of us are out of the city now. We all have kids. It was a great turn out. It was good to connect. It was at a fishing lodge.
The downside is that people were smoking inside. I feel like my lungs are full today.

I listened to Elvis’ Christmas yesterday. The kids did crafts. What a hoot.

I had a few people tell me last night how good I look. Comments like, you look the same as you did 20 years ago......
Gotta like that.

I am a little bleary this morning but will perk up after coffee and a nice bath.
Our meal will be simple. I have an 18 lb bird. We will have stuffing, mashed potatoes, plain carrots, peas, gravy and a veggie tray. I have some shrimp for appetizer. Dessert will be pumpkin pie, butter tarts and peanut brittle.
We will have 17 for the meal. I love doing this this. 3 of the older nieces and nephews are workng and out of town.
My Sil and I did stocking for Hubby’s folks and they did stockings for each of us. My kids will eacg get a much desired Furby. I have to wrap everything while the gang is at church.
I will put on the BoneyM Christmas today. The King needs a rest. I am such a dork, LOL!
Very Chrismassy around here. HUGS!!!

Good morning,
I got up late, I feel like I'm in a fog. I hope the coffee helps. Dgs and I put a cake in the oven. Hope I didn't mess it up...LOL.
It's going to be 60f, so as soon as it warms up we are off to the park.
I did make my walk last night. Only walked 1/2 mile but it was a very brisk pace.
B- 1c oatmeal sweetened with splenda, and cinnamon.

Holly: Your holiday sounds yummy. Enjoy your day with the family.

Later, I think cake is done.

Ok... back on track today

Breakfast :: Slept through it (long night last night)

Snack :: Baked Tortilla chips and Salsa

Lunch :: Turkey and Provolone on Whole Wheat (No mayo or anything) and Healthy Choice Tortilla soup (1 serving)

Dinner will be healthy as well! My parents are taking my hubby and I to their churches "Thanksgiving Dinner" so as long as I can avoid the pies (or just have one small piece) I should be good!!!

Good evening everyone,
I've been fairly busy today. I got up and dgs helped me bake a cake. Then this afternoon we went to the park for a couple of hours. Now i'm finishing up 3 lds of laundry, while cooking dinner and fixing green chili stew for tomorrow.
They decided at work that everyone would be "turkeyed out" this week so they decided to have a tex-mex dinner tomorrow, so I decided to bring green chile stew. Muy caliente! Ok! food is the limit of my spanish...LOL

Amanda: Great to have you here. Everyone is very supportive.
We all have our ups and downs but there is always someone here for you.

LB: Have fun at your dinner and try to relax. Stressing over what you can't have really makes it harder. Just relax and take time to make good choices.

My last load of laundry is ready. Have a great evening everyone.

Hello,
I had a great workout tonight. I went to the Y and worked out of 1 1/2 hrs. It felt so good to move.

I am happy to report that I haven't had any soda today. I know I can make it until Thursday. I will let myself have one with the Thanksgiving meal.

I'm going to stay on plan through the holidays. I'm writing in my journal how I will feel and be able to enjoy them with my clothes not feeling tight, my skin not itching from the sugar, and I won't be grumpy from the sugar. How everyone is talking about how great I'm looking.

What's everyones strategy to stay on plan?

Amanda: Welcome to the board. These are great ladies...you will get a lot of support.

Debbie: Did the coffee lift the fog?

Legally: Did you stay away from the pies? I know you can..just decide you want to.

Holly: I can't believe you have those halls decked! You are truly SuperWoman!!

Sandi: It's nice to have you back with us. Great job on only gaining 3 lbs. I've gained 7 that I've been fighting off and on..not giving up..going to get it off! Let's do it together.

Hi,
We just had a dreamy day. We had most of my husbands family for Christmas dinner. This is the first time we have done this. His folks leave for Arizona for the winter next week. We did no gifts but we did stuff stocking. Just little tidbits. It was all really festive just like Christmas day. I adore hubby's family. Our house is sooo great for entertaining. 17 people just hung out all over. I squeezed everyone into the diningroom at 2 tables. I am stuffed to the brim. we ate a 3pm and i just had a turkey sandwich. I will definitely have to stay out of the peanut brittle and pie tomorrow.Christmas in November WAS just like christmas on Dec 25. Very fun and festive. I dont usually decorate unitl after Dec 1 but..... Dinner was fab. We have such a nice family. 17 lovely fun people. Furby was a big hit with all the "kids". I had to wrestle my 20 yo nephew to give it back to DS.The house is still vey clean and the clutter is put away. What a happy ,joyful weekend. I am bone weary but dont want to sleep because I dont want it to end.
Blissed out.
