Hi Ladies
!!!!!

Spryng,
Sorry your scale is up .5 this morning but you know that is not a true gain!
You will have a great loss next week!~~~~~~~

ebeth2210 04-09-2004 01:31 PM

Me, too, Spryng although I must have misunderstood your post. I thought u said 5 lbs!
I downloaded a Excel program off of one of the WW websites and it has an exercise points calculator. Do I get to add those points to my daily totol?

I hope everyone is great. I've done real well with my eating the last couple of days. Its always easier to stick to the program when you start seeing results. I haven't lost any lbs yet, but my stomach is a little flatter. I've had 2 very large children(9.6 & 11.4 and I am 5ft) so I have no stomach muscles hardly. I went to the gym today. Good Workout! I am trying this program I found in prevention magazine that is supposed to work you up to running in 12 weeks. I love it.

Well, I'm taking the boys to the strawberry farm. Tomorrow they are opening the pool at my apartments so I'll probably be dragged there tomorrow. :sunny:

Talk later

meltin 04-09-2004 03:31 PM

Up 2 pounds this morning. Definitely due to TOM and the Mexican I had this week. I have been up and down for the last two months. DH was so sweet and said maybe my body has retained fluid since I have not had a period and that next week the weight will start coming off. I have been getting my exercise in. I think my body is just immune to exercise since I have been doing it for long. Just have to get this eating thing down.

Dh has agreed to start on South Beach again this Monday. When he is on plan it is much easier for me.

Happy Weekend! Probably won't be on again until Monday evening.

mompen 04-09-2004 03:32 PM

Mary,
I will post the page on our webpage on the exercise.

I believe it is up to you if you want to add your exercise to your daily totals but ask Spryng or Ginny for sure!

mompen 04-09-2004 03:35 PM

Hey Melinda,

You snuck in on me :) :)

I am so sorry your scale is up! I just had my period a couple weeks ago and now I am bleeding again :( :(

Hope you get back on the South Beach plan Monday :)

Have a great weekend!

New Momma, new to this forum

HI!

I'm new to this forum and to weight loss forums in general. I have a little guy, 8 months old, named Cole, he's my first baby. I'd love to say I'm just working on the pregnancy weight, but in truth I'm working on the pregnancy weight, the pre-pregnancy weight, and a couple of pounds I put on after losing some of the pregnancy weight. Anyway I'm looking to lose about 35 pounds. I keeping trying to stary eating better and exercising more, and at some point in the day break down and start eating like a crazed monkey. I always tell myself I'll start again tomorrow. Bottom line, I need some support and accountability, so I hope to join this forum and also keep a weblog on this site. I hope to get to know you all!!!
:^: :o ;)

MichelleRae 04-09-2004 04:02 PM

Good Afternoon Ladies!!

So far so good on day 2 of atkins although I am having an upset stomach I dont know if it is due to the diet changes or what. I dont know if Im having TOM or what cuz I just had surgery on my cervix last Monday and I cant tell if Im bleeding from that or from TOM, oh well.

Is everyone ready for easter? I went shopping for my daughters basket today and spent 50 bucks!!! And, wow that candy was such a temptation...but I did resist and instead had lunch (steamed broccoli, potroast, deviled eggs, water) and we have bought a bag of sugar free hard candy so it helps too!!
Well I have a house full of kids and fights are starting to break out so I must go! Hope all is well!
Take Care!

MichelleRae 04-09-2004 04:05 PM

Welcome Jessi!! You snuck in on me while I was posting well you've come to the right place!! All the ladies here are really supportive and have helped me alot they got me through day one on atkins and today is day two and going well!! I know all about the pregnancy weight lol I have a 6 month old and a 2 yo I still havent lost the weight from the first pregnancy lol but I will now that I have finally cracked down on myself :)
Again Welcome and I hope to hear from you again
Take Care

spryng 04-09-2004 04:17 PM

Good afternoon all!

Michelle, sounds like day 2 is going well for you!! Keep up the good work! :) Your stomach may be upset due to the diet... if your body is not used to mostly protein it may react in all kinds of different ways... but it will balance itself out soon. How is your DH liking it?

Welcome jessievalentino! I am Spryng, mother of 3. Ava 4, joseph 3, and Tanner 9 months. I love that name Cole. Very male :) Are you on any specific plan? I am and have been on weight watchers for 7 months now and am very close to my goal weight, but every week it's a struggle. I think you have found the right place for support!! post often so we can get to know you better!

melinda, mexican food is very high in sodium so I'm sure it had something to do with your gain. But you and I will get this weight off next week! We'll do it together. TOM is screwing up my life right now too, lol.

mary, yes you get to eat those activity points your earn but you can't hold on to them, you have to eat them the day you earn them and there is no limit to how many you can earn or eat so enjoy!! I never eat my AP's though, of course I don't earn many either, lol :o Is it warm enough to swim already?? It's dreary and cold here today, and rainy. Ugh.

Penny, thanks for starting the new thread!!!

Ginny, how are you today? I'm sure you are busy and this thread is hard to keep up with at times.

Ricci, hello!!

Well I got my tanning in this morning. Finally up to 14 minutes. I was the first person to use the bed so it was COLD!!!! But after a few minutes it felt great. Then I went grocery shopping and came home with two new beta's (fish) they are really beautiful. One is bright red and the other is dark blue. (don't worry they are in seperate bowls, lol) and I spent too much at the store. But even though I grabbed subway before I went I thought everything on the shelves looked good, lol. But I did buy some kudos bars, never had them before, I got a mixed variety box, anyway, I tried the snickers one and it was heaven!!!! Only 2 pts!! I also bought some banana nut bars for breakfast this week. Tonight I am having that crockpot pineapple chicken that Geri made a few days ago. I'll have it over rice or pasta and some veggies on the side. I'm going to try making two veggies at dinner now so I can fill up on them. But anyway... now I am tired and bored. I guess I'll go crochet. TTYL!

ECmom 04-09-2004 04:59 PM

Yup, Spryng I am just busy, everyone is home and it is tough to keep up.....I just tried to leave you a PM- it got messed up and I do not have time to rewrite it. Hopefully I'll get here later and can try it again!

Jessie - welcome!!!!!!! This is a great place for friendship and comraderie as we lose weight. Sorry I can't leave any personal info on me now, this is a drive by post.
Sorry that there were some weight gains, Spryng and Melinda. Hang in there, it sounds like for each of you there is a good reason and should come off for next WI.
Mary, Geri, Penny, Ricci, Michele, and anyone else I missed- hope this is the start of a great weekend!!!!
Ginny

mompen 04-09-2004 05:35 PM

Welcome jessivalentino !!!

I too love the name Cole, (my nephew's name is Colby :))
I too am still working on pg weight from my nine & 1/2 month old! I weighed 159 when I got pg and now I am still at 172 :( Getting there!

Coming here is half the battle!!!!

Spryng,
Let me know how the crock pot pineapple chicken turns out! I think I would have to saute it first before putting it in the crockpot, like Geri said, I don't like the chicken in the crock pot.

BTW, the kids just got out of the pool here too! They have been in it every day since last week!

Ginny,
If you don't mind, please let me know how much weight you have lost on ww. It is always nice to be inspired :) Sorry things are so busy!

Michelle,
Glad you are doing so well on Atkins. I have been doing South Beach which is kind of the same with the first couple weeks. I lost a total of 10 pounds on it so far. I am trying to convert over to ww right now. I had the real bad headaches and cramps on Atkins when I first started it a long time ago. It is from all the withdrawals!

Hope I didn't miss anyone else that posted!!!

I brought the kids to Mc Donalds for lunch and stopped and picked up my godchild. She is 7 and was very well behaved!
I did give in and have a combo! SHAME SHAME ON ME!!!!!!!

watkinsguru 04-09-2004 06:12 PM

Good Afternoon

Well hi there girls. Seems as though it's been alittle busy today.

Jessi...Welcome. I'm Crystal, sahm of 3. Alisa 5 1/2 years, Ally almost 3 and Andrew 16 months. I'm 26, been married 8 1/2 years. I homeschool and am a Watkins rep from home. I've got like 65 lbs., well now 60 lbs. to go. Maybe more when I get there. My weight is pre pregnancy and pregnancy 1, pregnancy 2, and of course pregnancy 3. I've been a part of this forum for about 3 weeks now and I love it. It has been the best. Hope you stick around and wish you luck.

Melinda- of course it's do to TOM. Everything you can, blame it on that.

Mary- sounds like you're doing great. Keep it up.

Michelle- you're doing good too.

Penny- we all give in to our temptations. It was last Friday when I did so bad and I came around and still managed to lose 5 lbs. It will be alright. And thanks for the encore this morning after my post about losing those 5.

Well, I am doing GREAT today. I didn't give into ANY temptations at my mom's like last week although I wasn't there very long and never really had temtations. I'm alittle worried about Sunday being Easter and all. We always eat at my dh's family and my family with the whole kit and kaboodle. That will definitely be all 35 flex points. Btw, I started WW today. I get a total of 26 points and have only had 14 so far. Hadn't gotten to exercise, not sure if I will. I gave that head cold to dh and he probably won't want to watch the kids. We'll see. I'm gonna spend tomorrow, after cleaning the house, getting as organized as I can for WW. I'm low on $ and that makes it so hard to make menus and buy all that extra stuff for new recipes.

I hope everyone else has done good today and I wish y'all luck for Easter and hope you have a great one. I'll probably be back once tonight.
TTYL

MichelleRae 04-09-2004 07:54 PM

Good Evening Ladies!!

Penny- thanks for clueing me in on the headaches I got a massive one today and was thinking it was from the diet changes too...Do you know if you get extremely tired on the first few days of atkins? I just zonked out today lol

Spryng- Sorry bout the gain It'll be gone next week!!!
Crystal- Great Job on avoiding temptation today!! I hope I can make it through easter day lol thats my fear with all the chocolates lol.
Well my chicken is done Im gonna go have some supper. Have a wonderful evening!
Take Care

jessivalentino 04-09-2004 08:51 PM

Thankyou everyone for responding to my first post. I thought I would check real quick while I was at the computer and felt so warm and fuzzy when I saw the welcoming messages. I think I've come to the right place!!! ;)

ebeth2210 04-09-2004 09:16 PM

Welcome, Jessie!

Will post later

Chubba 04-09-2004 09:55 PM

Welcome Jessi,

This is THE place to be!! I'm Geri, Mom to 2 boys, Will and Tony (almost 3 and 1) and have always battled weight!
Just finished my workout tonight...sure is much easier to do in the morning after just breakfast rather than 3 meals and 2 snacks:) but at least I got it done...now if I can stay out of the animal cookies I will be OK. I colored some eggs tonight and should put the kids baskets together but I'm tired and will go to bed and read. Don't know if I'll get a chance to post tomorrow...sometime Sunday for sure. Hi to all...sorry I didn't get personal!! Have a wonderful OP Saturday.

watkinsguru 04-10-2004 06:41 AM

good morning

Hi Ladies.

I haven't even started on my coffee yet. Everyone must have been busy last night. Not alot going on here. Well, I finished out the day with only 24 points. Plus got in some outside walking for 20 minutes, I walked harder and faster and felt my heartrate increase more than last time. I think that earned me 1 activity pt.

I hope everyone had a great Friday and a great night.

You know it's amazing how good you feel after losing any amount of weight. Knowing the 5 lbs. I lost can't really be seen, you feel so much better and even lighter. That is enough to make you go on and on. You know I was 1 size smaller last year and I still have a couple pairs of shorts so another goal of mine is to be in those shorts by summer. That should be pretty easy only about 15 or 20 lbs. I've even lost 25 lbs. before and I always gain it back, and I was thinking yesterday how much 25 lbs. really is. When I lost it those #'s really didn't seem like that much, but man oh man that's alot.
Well I was just being a chatterbox this morning. I hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday.
P.S. I have a ton of cookbooks but I'm also picky when it comes to sides and veggies, does anyone know of any special cookbooks for sides and veggies? If so let me know. Thanks

mompen 04-10-2004 08:57 AM

Good Morning Ladies!

Michelle,
Atkins made me very sick to my stomach, had a bad headache and the first two to three days I was so tired I couldn't keep my head up. I did much better on South Beach b/c you are aloud some veggies with carbs. Hope you are feeling better today!

Crystal,
I am so excited that you started ww and you are doing well so far! I am still trying to do it. Haven't made it on plan yet :( :( You are doing awesome!~ Congrats!

jessivalentino,
Glad you are back! Which plan are you doing??

Geri,
Are you feeling your workouts? I know when I use to workout every day my body starting getting really structured! When is your TOPS day?

Well,
I am thinking about trying to start weaning Andrew. He is almost 10 months old. I am hoping by 11 months LOL I can have him completely off. He is very attached. I know I am being selfish but I really think it is time to start focusing on me. How selfish is that? Bet Leche Le would think so! LOL But I want to have him off before his first birthday. He doesn't take a bottle or a pacifier so I am hoping it won't be too too hard. He does take a sippy at his meals and takes a sippy with a straw.

I know I am trying to convince myself here! Ok enough rabbling!

Have a great day and a wonderful Easter!!!!!!

Penny :)

BIGtimeLOSER 04-10-2004 09:25 AM

Morning Girls

I didn't post much anywhere yesterday, was quite busy. Dh was home, so eating plan didn't go as well as I'd like. But it's a new day, right? Fresh start once again!!

I will start the WW plan on Monday. I just haven't had enough time to get my act together enough to start yet. I think I'll add up my points for whatever I eat today just to see how close I am to doing things the right way.

Crystal, glad you are starting up and doing well.

Jessi, Welcome! You will love it here, I am sure!!

Thanks to all for the WW info and the inspiration. Hope your weekend is wonderful.

Don't let the holidays fool you, we are in control and we can have a Holiday meal without losing that!!! Just focus on your goal and really ask yourself how much you really want what you eat, you'll be surprised how many times the answer to that question will stop you, if you let it.

spryng 04-10-2004 10:03 AM

Good morning all!
Sorry I didn't get back on here last night. I wasn't really busy but I was caught up in the Food Channel. Anyone ever been to the Cheesecake Factory? They did a whole show on it and now I really want to go!!! They have avocado eggrolls there!! Mmmmm....

Cindi, my eating is never that great when my DH is here either... but thankfully he is gone the majority of the time so I don't have that to worry about. What is it that makes them able to get us to eat things we shouldn't??
Penny, I don't think you are selfish to want to wean your son. Most women wean by 6 months old so you have done great!!!! Do you have to wean him to a bottle since he's not suppose to have milk until a year old? How does that work for nursing babies? Tanner is just now getting a sippy cup every now and then... he doesn't drink very well from it because he uses those playtex disposible bottle with the liners and he doesn't have to hold it up to drink it. In fact he mostly lets it hang out of his mouth without even touching it while he drinks. It's funny sometimes. So it's hard to get the concept of holding the cup UP so that the juice flows down to him. But that is ok, my other two were like that too and they did fine after a couple months.
Crystal, sounds like you did great on your first day!!!! Don't knock losing that 5 #'s. Hold a bag of sugar and you'll see how much you lost. You may not be able to see that loss yet but your organs are thanking you. I watched an Oprah show one time and it had real body parts on it, and one was a heart and liver and how obesity affects them... they get so much fat around them it's nasty! So she was saying that we all try to get the fat off of the outside so we look better but it's the fat inside us we really need to get off because that is what is killing us. It made it more real to me. So you have done just that. :) What kinds of veggies do you like?? I'm not too picky on my side dishes. I do like to make red beans and rice (zatarains) because it's very filling and very low in pts. Brown rice is good and filling, it was a taste I had to aquire though. And then of course I make tons of veggies. Spaghetti squash is good too. You can go to weightwatchers.com and hit community and under that you will see community recipe swap and there is tons of free recipes and you can search side dishes. HTH.
Geri, what book are you reading? I hope you got all rested up.
Michelle, being tired the first few days or even the first week is normal on atkins... if youstay tired after 3 or 4 days then it is probably because the weight is coming off fast and that can make you tired, so I always took it as a good sign. :) How many carbs are you averaging each day?
Ginny, if the pm isn't working just email me!! :) Hope your weekend slow down for you a bit. What do you do for your older kids for easter? Do they get baskets still?

Well my crockpot chicken was ok. Not something I'd make again. Ava ate all of her chicken but my ds wouldn't touch his. I'll post the recipe on Moms losing weight. If anyone is interested. Yes, maybe browning it first on both sides would have helped but I used frozen chicken so I couldn't try that. Well, TOM has finally arrived this morning!!!! Thank goodness... now my WI will be normal and accurate and PMS will go away. It wasn't too bad this time around thankfully. Last month it was really bad. But enough about that. :)
Today I plan on cleaning a little. The kids are already playing the gamecube so they will be occupied most of the morning. It's still dreary and rainy here so no outside activities today. I did buy some potting soil and plan to replant some plants but I left it in the van and I don't want to get wet so I guess it won't be today. And our blue beta died last night :( Guess I'll have to get another one soon. But the kids named the red one Flame. It's doing good.
Ok, guess I'll get off here and start my day. TTYL!

MichelleRae 04-10-2004 10:21 AM

Good Morning Ladies!!

Spryng - sorry to hear your chicken didn't turn out as well as planned I always liked chicken and vegetables in the pressure cooker it comes out a bit better I think :D. Also sorry to hear about your new fish usually when they die the first day home it means the store wasnt taking good care of them :( I used to have a bunch of fish. Oh and OMG the cheesecake factory is awesome!!! I used to live in Massachussetts and used to go to the cheesecake factory at least once a month!! of course thats when I didnt have any extra weight on my body lol.

Cindi- Im lucky I stay on plan while DH is around lol he's doing atkins with me and its kinda neat that it's kinda become a little competition between us!! Healthy competition that is lol. And good luck on WW Im sure you will do great!

Crystal - Sounds like your doing great! I have Master Cook 7.0 its a recipe program for the computer and it has lots of side dish recipes I reccommend picking it up I think I paid 20-25 bucks for it wonderful recipes!!

Well i need to get some breakfast eggsss....AGAIN!!!
Take Care

need2losemore 04-10-2004 10:58 AM

Good morning. It's rainy here, so I don't know what we will do today. Spryng, if you kept the receipt to the fish, and it died within 24 hours of you bringing it home, they should replace it for free. You have to take the fish back with you, though. Hope everyone has a great day.

Chubba 04-10-2004 12:20 PM

Good morning all :coffee:

Got the 3 mi walk in again...sure was easier this morning than it was last night.

Spryng, the book is "From Chunk to Hunk" that I told you about the other day. He finally had some normal human sugar cravings...I was beginning to think this guy was some kind of freak! He lost 70 pounds in the first 5 months or so and hadn't eaten any processed sugar and I was wondering just how the heck he didn't have any cravings since he used to eat a lot of sugar. Haven't you made other crockpot chicken things? Did the texture of the chicken turn out differently?

Hi Ricci, how are things going?

Michele...sure helps when Dh is OP. Mine doesn't complain about what I cook and if he doesn't want what I make he knows that I don't mind if he cooks what he wants. I won't cook separate meals though.

Penny, I have a long way to go to structured  but moving is easier every day!! I used to have a hard time sitting on the floor with the kids. One of my hip joints was very stiff and it was very tough to get up off the floor. I'm 40 yo and felt like I was 60! In that respect I feel 110% better. I will have to start doing more toning/weight exercises but I'd like to get under 200 first. The aerobics everyday will help with that and the WATP series is easy on my old frame :D

Crystal...think of 25 lbs of ground beef!! Amazing! And the 5 lb bag of sugar too or 5 lbs of butter! I was down last week about staying the same and you know, I've already lost 16 lbs and that's nothing to get down on myself about! I'm almost ready to go down a size in jeans. I'm so proud of that!! It gets tough sometimes but that's what this group will do for you...lift you up when you're down....AWWWWWWWWWW I love you ladies :^:

Well, I had better go hit the shower. This afternoon I'm going to a Partylite home party (candles and candleholders) at Dh's niece's. Then tonight is date night  We're going to the restaurant we went to on our first date. We usually have prime rib but I will look for something much healthier on the menu :p even though I LOVE prime rib!! Then we'll head to the casino for a little while and watch the lunatics put tons of money into the slots while we spend like $20. Then we're getting a room for the night! The boys are young enough not to know that the Easter bunny didn't get here first thing in the morning and my Mom's going to stay over with them. We'll be home early tomorrow anyway. We haven't been alone together since the boys were born so it's about time!! Our 4th anniversary is next month but we'll celebrate tonight. So, this is it for me today. I'll check back with you tomorrow some time.

I hope everyone has an OP Easter Sunday...try to resist the candy!! I didn't buy much as the boys are young but I will allow myself 1 Recess PB egg...I may wait until after WI Monday night to eat it though!

Hi to everyone else out there

MichelleRae 04-10-2004 02:28 PM

I WILL BE STRONG ON EASTER!!! I WILL BE STRONG ON EASTER!!! I WILL BE STRONG ON EASTER!!! I WILL BE STRONG ON EASTER!!!

Sorry thats my mantra for the next few days lol

Ok guys just wanted to check in and say hello. I gotta go get some eggs to dye tonight!! Have a great day girls!! Oh and Spryng Im averaging 20 or less carbs a day, hubby picked up some low carb tortillas 4g net per tortilla Im gonna have a tuna sandwich on it today yayyyy!!!

Take Care!

ECmom 04-10-2004 02:43 PM

Man, once again, with a drive by visit, there is no way to get personal. So, Michele, Crystal, Geri, Penny, Spryng, Ricci,Jesse, Cindy.....and anyone else I missed Hi!! Hope your weekend is going well, and try to stick with portion control if you are going to venture out into the land of chocolate.......See ya.
Ginny

spryng 04-10-2004 06:25 PM

Good evening all!
Ginny, glad you got a chance to say hello! I know life will settle down for everyone after this weekend.
Michelle, you WILL be strong tomorrow!! I know you can do it!! Remember that it is only one day and will be gone before you know it. I like those low carb tortillas too because they are only 1 pt and high in fiber.
Geri, yes I had made other chicken meals in the crockpot, I like the texture of it fine but the pineapple was very overwhelming I guess. A little too sweet for me for dinner. I hope you have a wonderful evening with your DH and I'd count that as intentional exercise :o LOL! I hope you win big!! (at the casino)
Ricci, I do have the reciept but the walmart isn't one I normally shop at and my local one doesn't carry the fish. But they were only a couple bucks so it won't be a bid deal to get another one. What have you done all day since it won't quit raining??
Well, my afgan is coming along nicely but it wears my hands out after a while. I'm taking a break, lol. I decided to use a few flexpoints tonight and ordered pizza. I had two slices and was full but it hit the spot, and I didn't have to cook, lol. I burned this morning while tanning, now I'm sore and itchy, lol. I moved up two more minutes but I guess my skin wasn't ready for it. I'm sure it will be gone by tomorrow but I won't tan again until monday just to be safe. I'm just slightly red. Well, guess I'll get off here and do some more of nothing, that hard work you know! lol. TTYL!

jessivalentino 04-10-2004 07:20 PM

Quickie

:coffee: Well, I'm crazy busy this week-end, so I'm sorry I don't have time to respond to everyone's posts personally, but I hope we all can do alright with the holiday this week-end. I know a couple of you asked about the plan I'm using, I'm going to losely follow weight watchers. I'm not an actual WW member, but I have enough info on it that I can follow the point system, I did it right after I had the baby with some success.

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!!!

Let's hope the chocolate devil doesn't sabatoge anyone

MichelleRae 04-10-2004 09:20 PM

Happy Easter!!

watkinsguru 04-10-2004 09:50 PM

Good Evening

Well, everyone's been busy today but managed to get the posts in. Nice to read through them. I've done great. I made cheese filled manicotti from one of my WW cookbooks. I thought it was great. I have trouble figuring out how much is an actual serving. I think I may have had a little more than an actual serving, but that was because I did NOT eat any garlic bread. I think I'm at about 25 points which gives me one, I'll have an orange later. Otherwise, I've been having alot of fun doing it. Me and Andrew went grocery shopping after I made a menu and shopping list. My dh brought home 2 dogs, they are suppose to be full blooded labs, but I'm not so sure. Here in Texas, we've had almost 80 degree days and today it got down to like in the 50's so I did not go out and exercise. I'll try to get something in tomorrow. I feel confident about tomorrow. I know what my families are making so I'm sort of planning ahead to know. I will have dessert, come on, it's cheese cake.

Penny - thank you so much for your pm. Your support is incredible. Makes it all worth while.

Cindi - great Easter advice and I think you'll do fine on WW.

Spryng - sorry your crockpot chicken wasn't that hot. It doesn't sound good to me. Glad your afghan is working out, I wish I could do that.

Geri - hope you and dh have an incredible time. How old are your sons? We haven't been out in forever I think. We did get to go see The Passion, that was a quick trip there and back. A night of fun like your talking about, I don't know. We went to Vegas when I was about 4 months pregnant with my second child. Ally's almost 3 so that's how long that's been.

Michelle - You're doing good on Atkins. They've come out with so much stuff, food wise, your choices are tremendous. When I did it, they didn't have all that.

Well, girls. I've got to get my kids Easter baskets filled. Working on a Jelly Bean Prayer thingee for family. Have a wonderful Easter. And do good.

Penny-- You're amazing!!! bunny tracks??? I didnt have the energy lol but...we did leave a carrot out for the bunny and dyed eggs oh god dying eggs with a 2 yo is a workout lol but we made it through with only one egg ending up cracked!! I just got her basket put together and the eggs ready for her egg hunt Ijust need to get up early to hide them. And....While I was filling the eggs with chocolates I didnt even have one although I was very very tempted.
Well happy easter to you all and I hope to hear from you soon!

Good morning all!
I know everyone is busy having fun today and I just wanted to pop in real quick.

Jessi, I think you will do great on WW! After today is over I know everyone will be able to re-focus on themselves. :)
Penny, no Dh won't be in until next weekend. But it is fine... we aren't really into any holidays around here. I wouldn't even know where to begin, lol. But I love hearing all about them from you all! I know you all are going to have a wonderful day!!!! But thank you so much for thinking about me, that is so sweet.
Crystal, in the new issues of the WW magazines they are now putting along with their recipes what an actual serving is because people were confused, like you were. I know cookinglight always does that and it makes it easier to eat. No guessing. But the mannicotti sounded great!! Were the dogs puppies are full grown? We got some puppies a year or so ago and they were too much for the kids to handle. They were part lab and would knock them down and scratch them up so we had to find them new homes. Maybe when the kids are bigger we'll try it again.
Michelle, sounds like you had fun dying eggs with your 2 yo, lol. Did you get pictures??

Well I guess I will get off of here and do something. I know everyone will have a great day, TTYL!
