Poor HS - more snow!!! I won't tell you how nice it is here today then. of course in a couple of months, then the heat index if 110 in the shade, you can laugh at me. :)

Guys, I got on the scales today and I'm down 1/2 pound. It's a start. Today we got stressful news about my cousin in Iraq. His convoy hit two land mines this week and the vehicles right in front of and behind his vehicle. All of the soldiers in the two Hummers were killed and the stress of it caused on of the guys in my cousin's vehicle just lost it. They had to pull him of his gun and now my cousin is the gunner. That puts him in an even more vulnerable situation. I'll be so glad when we don't have to worry about the lives of people we love - but I think that day is a bit away still. Don't worry, not trying to start political conversations, just needing to let off steam or something like that about my cousin's two close calls. I remember changing his diaper...doesn't seem like he's old enough to be where he is!

My thoughts are with you and your brother Grassie! My brother is finally home from Afghanistan. I know what you are going through. He's been there since 911. I tell you...it's not conducive to a healthy lifestyle. Especially if you are a stress eater like myself.

Tis cold and rainy here again. I'm starting my Weeklong Celebration of my Sparkly Day on Tuesday. Tonite my sister and I are going out to my favorite cafe for ChocoChai latte. Tomorrow nite my friends are taking me to dinner and dancing. And it just keeps going from there till next Sunday. Which will end my Sparkly Day bash with lotsa chocolate!!! YAYYYYYY

Hmmmmm I'm all by myself in here! How sad is that. I didn't do diddly squat yesterday...I think this weather is really starting to get me down. BUuuut good news is...I haven't been eating badly. Not really hungry these days. Arthritis is killing me with all the rain too...so don't feel really active. But am going to the barn today...that should get me going...a bit..see y'all later I hope!

Just thought I'd pop in before i go away on our Easter holidays - not sure how long we are going for..hubby has an appointment on Wednesday so he will be back for that but we (me & the kids) may just stay at the coast...depends on the weather really!!!

I'm going to try to keep to a healthy eating plan and i intend to walk every day and if it's not too cold i'll surf as much as i can as well!!

Hi yall! How's it goin? Sorry I haven't posted in a few days... life got really busy there for a while :)

I was really bad this weekend. I'm not going into details as to what I ate but I think I gained a couple of pounds. I'm not even getting on the scale to find out how many. :lol: I'm gonna be extra good this week though. OH and I'm buying a new treadmill soon!! I can't wait.. I love to walk and walking is the best form of exercise to loose weight in my experience.

My head hurts! I put some dog food in my dogs bowl this morning. I had to bend over to do it...and when I stood up, my head hit the corner of my kitchen counter... owie!! What a way to start off the day. I feel like someone hit me over the head with a baseball bat!

Grassie.. I know how you feel.. my brother in law was in Kuwait for over a year and there wasn't a day that went by where I didn't think about him or worried about him. He just came home about 3 weeks ago. My thoughts and prayers are with you as well. and a big :bravo: for your 1/2 pound loss!!
