Hi All~
Marti~you ladies must have been chatting up a storm after I got off the computer. I was on till about 11:30 I think?? Sometimes though my MSN messenger doesn't come up, not sure why. It tells me to retry and sometimes still won't. Yes, it is a relief to be in this house-now to get everything unpacked. I always say I am going to take my time unpacking but I can't do it. I tire of the boxes in the way. I am taking it easy today though. I will unpack a few things and hang a few pictures but that's about it. Jana~I am like you in that I have to get those boxes unpacked. I want to take my time, but can't stand the mess. I am proud of you for staying 100% OP!! :bravo: I will definitely ask if I have any questions about the FT. I am going to be making my grocery list later. Last night was the first time I cooked dinner in about a week and let me tell ya-I never thought I would say I am SICK of eating out! Nothing like eating "good" food instead of junk. I have been watching what I eat, and not over doing it. Wasn't able to weigh in yesterday because the scales were at the other house-so I am going to have to wait till Monday. :( I am always curious whether I lost or gained, or even maintained and if I miss a weigh in I get bummed out. But I won't weigh on another day, I will just wait a week even though it is killing me. Kayecee: Read a later post and was wondering. When did I say I didn't have air conditioning?? I do have that and cruise control. I just don't have a oil pressure gauge or heat gauge, just olights that come on if something is happenning. Even though it rains a lot here, I could not live without my air conditioning, I don't like to mess up my hair or get sweaty butt crack. So sad to hear they get that in Arkansas. Must be a sight to see when everyone gets out of their cars and shows off that nice butt crack sweat line. Good thing I live in Oregon. HEEE HEEEE HEEE

Just a quick note ladies. I just found three change of address notices today in a box-ooooopsie!! :doh: They are ready to be mailed (addressed & stamped) and I guess slipped down in the box, on the side. One is to DH parents, his sister and Angie-sorry! :^: Okay, so I know Marti & Jana received one, if everyone else could let me know if you received one I would appreciate it. I will get one out tomorrow if you didn't get one because I am wondering if I sent them or they too are in a box-I haven't found anymore but everything was a mess when we started moving so I don't know what happened. :shrug: I have some extras that I made up about a week before we closed on the house so it is not a problem. Anyway, just wanted to let ya know. Who knows what else I will find when I empty more boxes??? :dunno: See ya :wave:

Angie - sheesh, things get boring out here in the country, but nobody's shootin' at me, lol. There really was a cow in the road last night and I just about hit it coming home from Walmart, but that's about exciting as it gets. :moo: You would be a good personal assistant. People are willing to pay for services like that since they don't have time themselves. Susan - lol, I just said a glider is easy on the knees and you can watch tv while you're doing it! A pancake and a hard-boiled egg is a good breakfast, depending on what you slathered on the pancake, lol. Marti - don't forget about the chat rooms available here. You could all pick a time and meet there. Anytime I have gone in one, it's empty, so you'd have the place to yourselves. If you met early enough, those of us in the midwest could join you. Cristi - Look for a card from me, too, okay? It got mailed today. I know what you mean about eating out, it gets real old, real quick with me. Any time we are on a vacation, I can't wait to get back home to some real family cooking. :hun: I goofed off most of the day, moving some furniture this way and that, being bored with it all. Let me tell you, having it rain :rain: and the sun :sunny: blaring down at ya makes for awful driving conditions! But...I am here to say...I made it home safe! :D Susan--I guess if I found the right shoes to walk in...carrying an umbrella wouldn't kill me to get a walk in. :rain: I will have to ponder upon that idea.... :) Cristi--Mail didn't make it to the mailbox?? Imagine that happening during a move! :lol: I had some misplaced mail and a lot of mail didn't get to me on time when we moved....of coarse, I had to make phone calls to get things straightened out!! Shanna--Don't like to mess up your hair?! :yikes: You live in Oregon!! What do you expect around here?! :lol: Actually I know what you mean. I always give James the eye when the window is rolled down in the summer.....he always obliges after that. Kayecee--Sweaty butt cracks?! I'm popping through while in the process of writing a paper for a class. Thankfully I graduate May 9th, so the end is in sight. This semester I have two nursing courses, 270 hours of clinical (in the emergency dept :D!), a psych course, an anatomy course, plus work. I don't have a life. *lol* On the plus side though, I joined one of those 30 min cross training gyms with my youngest and we are doing well with it. I lost 2 lbs last week. *doing the happy dance* I also have other news--I met someone! Someone who likes me just the way I am, extra weight and all, and who seems to share many of my core beliefs. If things continue to blossom, I may just have found a keeper. *gete* The very interesting thing is that I decided to relocate to Nova Scotia about two years ago, and he lives in New Brunswick, a short 2.5 hour ferry ride across the Bay of Fundy from the area I want to settle in. He's self employed and actually amenable to move to NS with me, should things work out. I'm excited, but also definitely afraid of getting hurt. He is definitely ready to settle down though, so I need not worry about the commitmentphobic blues. :) I can't move for a bit over two years due to a work commitment, but that just gives us plenty of time to get to know each other. |

But then they get over it around.... age 22, lol. I missed Shanna's picture but I'll check it out in a few minutes. Kat - Yay :balloons: on your weight loss. Also, I am so very happy for you in the romance department. I was overweight when Neal and I met, too, but he always picked women with "a little meat on their bones". Being in love is wonderful, isn't it? How are the kids accepting him? What quality about him do you like best? Hi to the others. :wave: I'm going grocery shopping today after I get next week's menus planned out. I've been looking around for point-friendly recipes to try. Susan - I forgot about the casserole recipe, but will try to post it later. Katie is off with the Junior class on a field trip to Indianapolis. Saturday Monte and I are going to The Black Coalialition Gospel Choir. Im in the second row...*GETE Hopefully no one has a spitting problem...lol Next Saturday the girls and I are going to Dessert Caberat. Today is the release of Mel Gibson's movie...what are peoples thoughts on that? Kat,,,you are still living in Nova Scotia? Where bouts? The snow fall was brutal over there I saw. Admit I was waiting for it to head this way but so far so good. Thats great about meeting someone...*smile Marti, Tanner is the one that is way up almost hidden behind someone,,,he has dark hair. Dirty face...lol We were given a disc of pictures of the whole play...you think I can get them on here to post? Nope...says there are too big. I have a lunch date with my friend AGAIN...lol we miscommunicated. Then I need to lazer print Tanners pics so I can send them to Jan. Im thinking of going to apply at Winners...awesome clothing place...Brand names,,with low prices or some kinda slogan like that. And the nicknacks are fantastic...*breathing heavy,,,I haven't been shopping in so long,,,going through withdrawls...*help me I used to buy an outfit every week or so....and in the last 25 days I have only bought 1 shirt. I watched Sharon yesterday for a whole 5 minutes...some chick on there has this need to buy every SINGLE day and is like 20 thou in dept and has moved back home and pays NO rent...and is still shopping...like can you say *DUH? I am not as bad as that.... (Im not really...really) Last nights rehearsal was pretty good,,,I have a couple of very talented people...and a couple of what were they thinking people... Ok I am watching way too much TV...did anyone watch my Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance? I loved the ending... Oprah was good too,,,love them house makeovers. Dr. Phil was mouth dropping...What is that husband on? I would of booted her to the curb. Getting pregnant and sending the kids away and not getting a job. Ok yes I need to get a life...but I was deprived of TV for so long....(like that word eh? Deprived..lol) Ok I need to get going...talk at you all later... Angie |

Another bright, sunny day in Portland!! Thanks Jana for the glider and acronym explanation, you are so sweet. At least you didn't say I was sexually impaired...lol I did put a little butter on my pancake yesterday, was soooooo good. I did skip the syrup, so felt good about that. Ok, Ang. I am close to tears!! I have mentioned Home Depot TWICE and you haven't said anything about it!! I was trying to be helpful and everything....*sniff, *sniff....... OMG!!!! I went over the Burnside bridge last night and thought of you! The bridge that we found that awesome skating park underneath.....NOT, and the bridge we sat on to watch the parade! OMG!!!! I went to Goodwill yesterday and found the Dr.Phil book!!!!! Yahoooo. $26.99 in the stores and I bought it for $2.99!!! I read his 7 steps this morning. I *think* it is a good book , would recommend it as good reading. Happy Birthday to Kayecee's father!!! How old was he? My dad is 74, he is a sweetie. Marti...........so , are you still pondering?? I get my taxes next week, I will certainly go out and buy you some walking shoes little missy!!!!lol........I wanna see you and Shanna out there walking.If I have to brave the Oregon weather so can you!! Not much going on with me today. Ventured out to Wally-World this morning and bought groceries-finally! Haven't gotten much done around the house. Going to do a lighthouse border in the boys bathroom later, won't take but about 30 minutes. I love the blue in there and the border matches perfect. I thought since it is the boys bathroom, but the main one I would do something not so frilly-nix the flowers. Working on getting laundry done, only have two loads thank goodness. Going to also hang some pictures and get my room finished, as far as putting things away. I have been taking it easy. I am hoping to have things half-way organized by the weekend. Of course that's not going to happen being on the 'puter. :comp: :lol: Angie~I did watch the Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance the other night, the ending brought tears to my eyes. I am glad everything worked out. I also have been watching Dr. Phil as he follows this family. I can't believe the woman is pregnant AGAIN! And that her hubby has put up with all that. I don't think she thinks she is the *one* with the problem. She keeps defending her actions to Dr. Phil. I don't think she gets it, and I honestly don't see why her husband doesn't leave. Crazy :crazy: It's really sad though, especially since there are kids involved. Have a GREAT lunch with your friend today. Jana~thanks for clearing that one (gete) up, I didn't know what that one was. :lol: I haven't seen it before till now. :doh: Well, I bought the foods I need to get me started on the FT. I have a question for ya, what kind of crackers and granola bars do you buy? Didn't know if there was a certain brand I should have gotten or just whatever I wanted that is healthy. Susan~I have the Dr. Phil book and have been rereading it, when I can of course. I don't think I fully comprehended everything the first time. I also made notes in it, and answered the questions in it, plus highlighted things that I thought were beneficial to me so I could refer back to it. I really like it though.
