Jennelle how did your test go saturday? I bet you did great. Were you nervous?

Tina did you pick out your glasses yet?

Gayle that is cute that you are instructing an 82 years old. Even at 82 we can learn something. That is funny about her coming up the walkway. Oh year by the way I do drink a lite beer because it has less calories but it has a full body taste.

Shelley, hey a 12 oz cup is my kind of cup. My mugs are tall and big. Just like my man....lol Oh I am bad. How did Brutis's appointment go? I hope that they can fix him up.

Doni sorry to hear about your mom. Is she walking better now? Do you have her back at home?

Debbie how is James feeling? Yes it is a rude awakening that summer is around the corner. I have just been stuffing my face. Time to smarten up. I am joinning you.WTG on staying on program. You are doing great.

Sherry are you feeling better today? Did you get your B/P checked? Let's do it together.......that is lose weight. 66 out in my dreams. It is just above freezing at that is above normal. Does that mean you have spring flowers blooming? We still have 2-3 feet of snow.

Ramona sounds like you had an enjoyable weekend. I have been eatting out of boredom and stress. I know that when I am out of control I am not happy. It is hard to get out of the cycle but once you do the first day it is much earier. Moving in with your parents is a big change but I know you are doing the right thing. As for your Dad's surgery you need to be at home to support your Mom. Let the boys take care of your Dad. You really can't do more for him than Rick and your brother can. I know it is this guilt thing, but it will be ok. No new romantic adventures to report here but I am starting to get ancy (sp ???) I know that is wrong.

Mom is getting stronger everyday. She is not smoking but is still having a hard time with that. She still has phnemonia (sp??) so they have increased her predizine. Her blood was all over the scale this week so her blood thinner has been adjusted accordingly. She has to go to the city 3 times a week to get it adjusted.

Guess what? The lucky bamboo plant is working overtime. We went to the casino saturday and I won $65.00. My girlfriend Cindy that gave it to me just shakes her head.

Well time to do some laundry, hope all is well since it is really quiet here.

Hi Girls

Hope everyone is having a great Monday. I had tons of work on my desk all day today. Only got about half of it done. Brought some home, but you how that goes.

Guess what...I have a new love in my life..... LOL "Russell Stover's Low Carb candy" I LOVE IT!!! I got a pecan delight this afternoon and it tastes like the real thang to me!! Anyway, I will cut back somewhere just to have one 2 or 3 times a week.

Ramona....I agree with with Dee. Stay and keep your Mom calm durung your Dad's surgery. Seems like I spend most of my life trying to be in 2 places at one time, makes you old fast. We are thinking of you and your family.

Sherry...What did the doctor say? I'm sure you got a chewing out!! It was good to see you this morning but not enough time to catch up.

Dee....James is much better, glad it didn't last long. Got my fingers crossed I don't get it now, it's some rough stuff.

Well got to start supper. Soup again for James...LOL.
Love you guys....deb

5 days down....91 to go~~~~

Howdy

Well I went to the Dr. after work since I've had many bad headaches, nosebleeds and my blood pressure being so high.
My b/p was 170/111 Which is very high. She gave me Zestortic to take for 2 weeks which has hydrochlorothiazide in it to help bring it down. After 2 weeks, I'll go back on my 40 mg. of Zestril. She said since I was on stroke level, if I get dizzy or blurred vision, to get to the ER asap.

Debbie,
It was good to see you a few minutes this am. Hopefully we'll all be well this Saturday to eat out and celebrate your b/day!! I'm glad you & James are feeling better.

Ramona,
Are you going to move in with your Parents for a short time only or are you selling your house and moving in for good? I'm confused! (Which don't take much!) Your weekend sounded like heaven!

Dee,
Like I said, We were praying for snow so bad but didn't get any! But I'll take these temperatures we're having now!! Glad to hear that your Mom is doing much better! I'll continue to pray for her. BTW: I have buttercups that are trying to bloom!!

Shelley,
Did your Dad take the price offered for his tusk even though it didn't meet the reserve price he wanted? Congrats on the 12 months now!!!!! Is there year round school there?

Gayle,
I thought it was cute about your 82 years young student. Bless her heart! I hope when I'm that age I'll be able to do something constructive! How's Allison?

Doni,
I'm so sorry about your Mom. I'll say a prayer for her. I know you are busy and have a lot on your plate right now but please keep in touch with us! I've missed you!

Tina,
Where are you girl? Is everything ok there????

Vicki,
How's everything with you? How is your Mom? She's been in my prayers too. Does she have high b/p? I've been meaning to ask you.

Jennelle,
Did you get the results from your test? I told our librarian about all your ideas and she more less just shrugged me off! She's so hateful!!!!

Mary......Cheryl & Carol......PLEASE post soon!!!! I sure miss you!!!

I stayed OP all day!!!!! YIPPEE!!!!! Hopefully I won't slack now! Hope everyone had a great OP day! Gotta start dinner.....

Big Hugs!

Gayle-Read your PM, you stinker!

Sherry-Please take care of yourself. My MIL was getting nosebleeds from high blood pressure. It has zoomed up to the 200's. You do realize that the hydro something or other is water pills, don't you? You'll be peeing a lot!

Ramona-I must have missed reading the lines. I didn't remember that you are moving in with your mother. Is this a permanent thing? You cannot be 2 places at the same time, so let your brothers do their parts also.

Dee-We are back to the 80's here.

Well, I took Brutus today to the tune of another $178.00. The dr. was very thorough. He said it is his liver and he prescribed some medicine for him to be on indefinitly to aid in digestion. He also said that the seed diet is what causes liver damage in birds. You'd think the pet food makers wouldn't sell seeds if they know that it will hurt the birds later in life. The pellet food he sold me is $30.00 for a small bag, but he said that table food would be fine too, so I will be feeding them all table food from now on, because Mike is having fits over the price of the food, not to mention that the birds don't want to eat the pellet stuff. I was at the vet for 2 hrs. waiting for the results to come back. I didn't get to work until 11:00. I really thought that I wouldn't be bringing him back home! The tests showed that he doesn't have any more bacteria in him than normal. So he has a liver that is not functioning as it should. I really don't know how long he can be nursed along, but as long as he is active and eating he will be fine. Once he starts not eating I won't let him go on because I don't want him to be in any sort of pain at all. Meanwhile, I have learned my lesson and the other birds will be eating correctly too so that they can live long healthy lives.

Sherry-No, the tusk didn't sell. I really hate to relist it because it cost $60.00 last time since I had it in 2 catagories. I just added more stuff of mine today. The girl that bought my rabbit jacket emailed me and can't believe how gorgeous it is. She gave me some great feedback! I hope it helps me sell the other stuff. I have to get Brutus' vet bill paid!

I've been OP now for 4 days. I haven't been journaling, but I've been being very careful about just grabbing something and stuffing it into my mouth. Oh, and I got my hair cut short again. My hairdresser tried to talk me into straightening it because she took a course on chinese hair straightening. Instead I bought some products to make frizzy hair smoother.

Jennelle-I hope your test went well. How long does it take before you find anything out?

HI!!! I picked out my glasses today. I saved $200 by going to Wal Mart. Thanks to all who suggested it. It was so convenient. I walked in with no appointment and was out in just a few minutes. I should have them in a couple of weeks.

I was measured and weighed today at Curves. I had not lost any pounds but I lost 3 1/4 inches!! YIPPPEEE

Gotta go wash dishes and give the kids a bath. Hope everyone has a great night!!

Sherry*Vicki* Anyone getting emails from Wanda* I'm not sure, but I think her computer may have a virus. It's been well over a year since I heard from her, yesterday I received an email from her address with just a very short message to open a zip file with the enclosed password. For some reason, I didn't feel right about it and deleted without opening. Last night I received an email from my server stating that a virus like this is going around. It said it could come from anyone, even people you know...so, DO NOT open an attachment with a password.

HI, Good Morning All!!! Yes I go to Curves everyday. I have missed very few days in the past almost 6 months. I have lost around 32 inches in the 6 months I have been going!! I love it. I went down a pant size my first month.

They are doing a promoton this month challenging everyone to lose 5 pounds or 5 inches. So that is my goal. I am going to lose 5 pounds. I can do it.

Anyone catch the finale of Average Joe? What did ya think?

How about American Idol? I think that William Hung is so sweet.

Hope you all have a geat day.

Hey Gayle and Tina I see your yolk glowing! Someone to share my morning coffee with.

Sherry please slow down and take time for yourself. I am worried about you. If I could I would send you a snow day so that you could get it off. There is big fluffy snow flakes falling here right now. I think that you are going to bring everyone luck with that St Pat's train. It is cute. Was it there when you first started the thread? I remember looking and seeing out names but that was it.

Debbie glad that you didn't get sick like James. Still soup yesterday he must have been really sick.

Gayle thanks for the virus warning. There are so many sick people out there with nothing better to do.

Tina great going on inches lost. It must feel incouraging.

I stayed on program yesterday. Thanks for the motivation Debbie. Your count down helps me too.

So Sherry has butter cups trying to bloom anyone else have some spring flowers blooming....I need to dream.

Wow Tina......WHAT A FANTASTIC JOB!!!

Well, Dan left this morning. I did my very best not to cry in front of him, but I just couldn't help it. He is supposed to be in Iraq by this Friday. Please keep him as well as all of the service personel in your prayers.
