This lady from Japan keeps emailing me all kinds of questions about my Dior purse. I know it's real, but I also know that there are plenty of people out there that sell fakes as real. That's why I'm afraid to actually buy any designer stuff on ebay. I would imagine that 99% of the people on there are honest, though (at least I would hope!)

Gayle....shame on you girlfriend but you did make me chuckle about the migraines being named after MIL...you know i love the ole woman.

I joined the Red Hat Society and our first meeting is tomorrow. Have to wear a red hat of course and something purple so off to look thru my wardrobe for something to wear..

I know I have been terrible the last few weeks for not posting regularly. I PROMISE I will do better from now on, even if it is just a quick hello.

I had a long week and I'm mentally drained. I had a couple of rape cases among all the run of the mill break-ins. I went in early today to help get things ready for a sting that we are trying to pull this weekend. They told me to keep my pager on all the time as I might be called out in the middle of the night. Well, they OBVIOUSLY don't know how long it takes me to put my makeup on and I'm NOT going anywhere without it! hahaha

This weekend is more housework for me and just some relaxing. I hope you all have a glorious weekend and are rejuvenated and ready for the new week.

And by the way......Welcome to the new ladies!!!!!!!!

I stayed OP today {Day 4} but I was touch and go several times...LOL. When I get overly tired, it triggers me to eat too. Just add that to all my other excuses. :rofl:

Vicki-I think the Red Hat Society is super cool! Tell us all about it after your first meeting! The women are always dressed so beautifully. My girlfriend sells stuff from them. She even sells a Boyds bear dressed in purple with beads and a red hat. If I pick your name next year again, I'll know what you buy you for Christmas!

Debbie-Good going on staying OP. I have TOM right now, so I haven't bothered weighing or anything for the last day or two. I guess that's why I was eating everything in sight last week. I never know when I am going to get it now, since I am premenapausal. Have fun this weekend.

Ramona-You job sounds so exciting! Quite a change from boot sales, don't you think? Try to get some rest this weekend. The house can wait on being cleaned!

Trixi went missing yesterday!
 

I was unavailable for comment yesterday due to the fact that I was kidnapped by the evil soul inside of me. She took me right after work and with out my permission, she dragged me to the bar with the pretence of say hi to finance parents who have their Friday eveining cocktail there. She said I could be strong and only have a soda water (with lime) and I would be okay...she would watch out for me..Siiting at the bar she told me they have something called "lo-carb" beer. I said "NO, I am sticking to soda water...please leave me alone" I don't no what sort of magic she has but all of the sudden my soda water turned into the low carb beer (gotta tell you...it tasted awful) and that turned into a wine to get rid of the horrible taste...Cant tell you how many wines I had cause she must have cast some sort of forgetting and counting spell on me...To make matters worse she followed me home in the taxi and made me order panizorottos (it had to be her cause I cant even spell panzirottos) I know it was her evil voice ordering it to be a footlong and deep fried one as well, cause I would never do that . Finally after eating almost the entire thing she forced me to go to sleep on the living room chair even. I woke up about an hour later and thankfully she was gone.

Well, that was my Friday and I feel sooooo guilty. But I will get back on track and hopefully it won't show too much on Monday when I weigh in..Cross your fingers for me okay?

I am going to clean like I have never cleaned before and I am going to take a walk. I went to GNC yesterdays before that devil showed up and stocked up on my vitamins so I am going to pop a few and get started. Hope you ladies all have a great day and I will post more later....

Trixi~~~ YOU POOR THING!!!! I know how you feel. You can be a good person, staying on plan, doing everything right...then all of the sudden, this other personality comes out of the dark. At least you can laugh about it today and start in fresh. We are all going to have times of slipping up, the key is to know this and get right back on track. If you need anything, just holler!!! Hey Gayle, I am here also ....went to my first meeting with the Red Hats and it was a blast..We all wore our red hats and something purple. There was 17 of us and this was very first meeting and we into'd ourselves and how we came to be there and set up plans for our next meeting.

I am so glad i am doing this otherwise i lead a very boring life and needed this to not be so bored. I will keep everyone posted how this goes.
We could even have our own RedHat group on the internet.

Shelley--does your friend have a website, i would love to see what she has b/c i don't have much red or purple.

I slept late this morning and it sure felt good. It's raining here :rain: makes for a lazy day. I haven't been sleeping good lately, I go from bed to couch to guest bed and then back to the couch...LOL. It's driving hubby crazy!!

Today is DAY 6 for me!! I've been 100% OP!! :cb: :cb: The only way it works for me, is all or nothing. Sugar in my system does a number on me!!

Trixi....I laughed when I read your post, we all have that ole {evil self}. I also enjoy an occasionally glass of wine or beer. When I do endulge I try to eat a zero carb meal. sounds like everyone is doing well.
i was actualy able to get some decent groceries and been op,
so far down a pound.
we are under a winter storm warning,so i thought i would get some puter stuff done in case our power goes off.

We went out to dinner last night with some friends and then drove to Ky & played bingo. Didn't win but they DID! I think they walked out with around $900.00! Wayne & I don't have good luck! :lol:

Just a quick hello before the new work week begins. I got some cleaning done, but also got hit with that 24 hour stomach bug. I'm finally able to get more than 5 feet away from the ladies' room!

I wanted to post my progress for last week....I'm down 5 pounds. I think I'm finally back in the mindset that will allow me to stay on track.

Hope you all have a wonderful week, and I promise I won't wait until the weekend to check in again.
