Good morning!!!!!
Well, it is freezing cold here now- Dh actually told me not to take a walk in it. Guess this time I might just listen.......but will get a brief jaunt out around lunch time.

Sorry, I can't get personal now, just am up to my eyeballs. Nothing horrible, but the next 2 weeks will be hard to post. Work schedule is a bit messed up (here in NY the students take Regents exams, sort of a state proficiency test) and it throws all the high schools on mid day releases. Of course I still have the little kiddies too....so I am in my yellow limo a lot. Hope to get to WW tonite when I am out picking up Ds from bball.
Hope to catch up with you all soon.........and no Jackie I did not even think that you were lurking out there.........I know we all get busy, hon!!
Have a great day!
Ginny

A&A's Mom 01-14-2004 11:36 AM

Good Morning! :)
Spryng, I'm so glad you are getting to visit with Dh today! :D The few hours you will have with him will help you get through the next couple of wks. I still don't see how you make it that long without going crazy and being so tired with 3 small kids! :dizzy: When Dh called me last night, I was so tired I was hurting between my shoulder blades. (It doesn't help that I need to lose 30 lbs.) ;)
Ginny, I hope your work straitens out for you soon! We will miss you when you can't post! :D
Hi Geri! I know you posted on the last thread, but I can't remember back that far! So I'll just say "Hi" and I hope you are having a great day! :D
How is your diet coming Candy? I'm still OP and DH has been very impressed! I usually don't stay on something very long!
Well, I'm trying to get my house cleaned up b/c my mom is coming over this evening and she is a neat freak!! :p I like for things to be put away, but with 2 kids to chase, my house is seldom spotless. I guess I'm just to laid back, but hey, I don't want to spend my every waking hour cleaning and making sure everything is perfect! :D
Well, I'd better go, the mountain of laundry is calling my name! TTYL! :D

Chubba 01-14-2004 11:49 AM

Good morning everyone,

Just have a minute or two so won't get too personal.

Ginny, we'll look forward to your posts when you can...Spryng, glad you get to see Dh today!!
Andrea ... I know how you feel. Neither kid would nap yesterday so by the time Dh got home from work I was ready to burst :D That's why the 30 min treadmill walk felt sooooo good. Put on a Shania CD and walked away the frustration. Can't imagine doing it alone for so long.

Don't know if I'll get to chat later or not. Mom's coming for dinner and to watch the kids so we can go visit MIL in the hosp. Had her hip replacement yesterday. She called earlier to say all is OK.

Gotta run and get some laundry done.

TTYL

candybar74 01-14-2004 12:38 PM

Hiya! Wow, I feel like I haven't been on here in forever. Spryng, the meatloaf sounds good. I'm gonna have to give it a try. I LOVE mushrooms! Hope you have a good couple hours w/DH today.

Andrea, I am doing pretty good op. I'm like you, I don't usually stick with anything too long but I feel so good that I can't imagine stopping now. This is the first week in forever when I have not felt like "nap or die" in the afternoon. I'm tired because I haven't been getting enough sleep but I am still able to function! It's wonderful. I have always been active so this past couple years has really killed me! Anyhows, I bet your DH is going to get a nice surprise when he comes home. Do you get to see him any within the next 8 weeks? Hope you have a nice visit w/DM tonight. I always like my house to be clean when DM or DMIL visit but neither of them are neat freaks, I am. Having kids puts a real damper on that though, at least for me.

Geri, glad you got your walk. I'm with you about the kids. Most nights I can't wait for DH to get home so I can have just 5 minutes of alone time. Hope all goes well with your visit to see MIL.

Ginny, thanks for starting the new thread. I guess none of us wanted the job as we were up to 4 pages on the last one!!! Hope things will be back to normal soon. Let us know how your WI goes!

Gonna go. Had a staff meeting this morning and was expecting to get fussed at a little about my pokey posting but nothing was said so I am going to take this opportunity to get on top of it! Hope you all have great days!!!

spryng 01-14-2004 02:33 PM

Hi all!
Well they changed all the smilies again.

Candy, if you try the meatloaf tell me what you think, ok? I don't know if it was because I was soooo hungry by the time I got dinner done or what but I thought it was fantastic. The best meatloaf I've ever made. Even the kids cleaned their plates!! I made mashed potatoes and gravy to go with it for a nice comforting meal. It was great. I even had leftover points for one of those smart ones chocolate cake! Yum. those are great too. :)
Geri, I hope your MIL recovers fast. Hip replacements seem pretty routine now a days huh? I hope I never need one. My MIL's knees are about to give out on her and the doctors are giving her a hard time about it because she's 360 lbs and they know that if she would lose the weight then it can be avoided. Did you see Oprah on monday about the gastric bypass surgeries? Very interesting. I taped it to take it to MIL but accidentally taped over it... oops.
Andrea, I don't know how I make it on my own 24/7 with three small kids either. I just do I guess. I'll tell you what... I can only do it with a very strict routine. The kids lay down for a nap around 12:30 - 1pm for two hours and that is my personal time. My decompression period, lol. I may nap, surf the net or do absolutely nothing, but it's my time. Then bedtime is at 9 pm and I get a couple more hours to myself. If it wasn't for a little alone time I probably couldn't do it either. Then every other week or so SIL watches the kids for 8 hours so I can have a whole day to myself. It's worth every penny I pay her. The two oldest will start headstart this fall and that will give me 4 hours a day with only Tanner which will be heaven. I can't wait. But I'm so used to this now. It's my life. lol. And don't worry about your house too much. Your mom can be a neat freak because she doesn't have children living in her house anymore... when kids are young just give in to a cluttered home 90% of the time. If you were to walk into my living room you'd trip over toys and books... it's clean but looks like a disaster because of toys, oh and don't forget the Fort the kids built out of couch cushions and blankets, lol. It's always something. But I know when they are older my house will eventually look nice most of the time. :dizzy:
Ginny, I hope things settle down for you soon!! And enjoy your meeting and WI tonight, I can't wait to hear all about it!
Well I guess I need to scoot. Getting excited to see DH in a few hours. TTYL!

Chubba 01-14-2004 03:26 PM

Hi there

Sorry I missed you in the chat room Spryng. I was chasing Will around the house so I could throw him in bed. He's being rather naughty today. Won't listen worth a darn. A typical 2 year old.

I got my 30 minutes in on the treadmill although I had to stop like 4 times to go after Will ... Probably got much more of a workout that way

Mom's coming in about 1/2 hour and neither child will nap. I think I'll go lay down and let them do what they please....they don't know what they're missing.

Will check back in later.

Bye

spryng 01-14-2004 04:20 PM

Sorry I missed you too Geri! As soon as I logged on Tanner woke up from his nap so I got him up and then he wanted to eat and all that so I just now checked back in. Maybe we'll have better luck tomorrow. We can chat tonight if you like. Like at 9 or 10 pm central? let me know.
Well DH will be here around 5 pm... so I'm busy getting the kids together and trying to figure out where we will eat so I don't over do it on my points for today. Guess we'll have the burgers tomorrow night :) TTYL!

candybar74 01-14-2004 04:51 PM

Yeah!!! :cb: My chat started working out of the blue today. I did the same thing I've done everytime but when it wouldn't work I went to look at my cookies. Didn't change anything or even touch anything but it asked about downloading that file again and this time it actually worked. Wow!! :flow1:

So, what are those things, oompah loompah? Spryng, hope you have a great dinner with DH. We are going to Mexican tonight. I can have a taco salad if I don't eat the shell so I think that is what I will go for. I will really miss snacking on the tortilla chips. You never know, I may just decide to forgo the meat, sour cream and cheese instead but yuck!

I organized my pictures today and I am about ready to start putting them in albums. 5 years worth. It is really sad. I love to take pictures but I am really bad about putting them in albums which is kind of a waste cuz noone gets to see them packed away in a drawer! I do put vacation pictures in an album every year as soon as we get home but that's about it. Looking back at all those pictures though, they are sooooo cute as babies. Not that they aren't cute now but they are sooooooooooo cute as babies!!! Really makes me miss having a little one around. I'm not ready yet though for more reasons than health. I am 2 days late on my period. I got a couple pg tests from the office but I am quite sure I am just off because of those stupid, horrible, nasty, mean birth control pills. If I haven't started by Friday, I'll test.

Well, I'm gonna go finish up and wait for DH to get home. I'll try to get by this evening though you guys might be too late for me. Your 9 is my 10 and I really should be in bed at that time! But I might slip by. TTYL!!!

Chubba 01-14-2004 10:31 PM

Good evening!

How was your visit with Dh Spryng? I'm sure it was great. I think Dh & I are going to call it an early night and actually go to bed at the same time so I won't be chatting tonight. I should be there again tomorrow unless something unexpected comes up.

Hope you can make it then Candy! It's been fun. How was your Mexican dinner?

I had a great tasting but mostly naughty dinner. It was BBQ baby back ribs, mashed potatoes & gravy and broccoli (at least there was a veggie). It was delish too. Had a few chocolate chip cookies too. At least I have been getting my exercise in so I don't feel quite as guilty. I have no idea how many points it was & I'm not even going to try to figure it out. I'll just be really good the rest of the week. :D I ate very light for lunch so that should help too.

Well, gotta cut this short and say goodnight. MIL is doing great after her surgery. She looked really good.

Hi to Andrea & Ginny and anyone else out there too.

candybar74 01-14-2004 11:00 PM

Geri, my dinner was great. I had the taco salad as planned. Didn't eat any chips or the taco shell of my salad. Boy was it good. I had the beef with sour cream, cheese and guacamole. Yummy!!! I spent most of this evening sorting pictures. I am trying to get them all organized chronologically so I can put them in albums. I am also going to make scrapbooks for each of the kids with the extras. And believe me, there are plenty of extras! Is it really necessary to take 10 shots of a 3 month old laying on the floor? Or, and my personal favorite, a 2 week old sleeping in their carseat? How attractive is that? Must have thought it was a great shot at the time because there's about 100 of them from 0 to 3 months. Anyhows, that will keep me pretty busy for a while.

I'm gonna crash. Hope to be chatting with ya'll tomorrow. Mine seems to be working now.

Freckles 01-15-2004 11:08 AM

Good Morning, Everyone!

It is indeed a good morning, for me at least! I hopped on the scale this a.m. & I've lost a total of 5# since I started my plan on 1/5/04!! :cheer: Spryng: Thanks for posting the meat loaf recipe the other day. I'm going to try making it one of these days. Candy: I was the same way with my kids when they were that young. Now that they are 10 & 15, it gets a little harder to have them stay in one place long enough for a pic, or they make goofy faces for the camera. I did get a 1/2 way decent pic of the two of them for a Christmas shot this year. DD looked a little more chubbier in the face than I wanted, but ds liked what he looked like, so I went with his choice. As for scrapbooking....I've got all the supplies & my pictures are sorted by age/year, but my scrapbook & photo albums look kind of empty! (This will be my project when I get the basement finished!) Geri: Where in SE WI do you live? I live about 40 min. North of Milwaukee, are you close to there? That would be neat if we lived close to each other. As for your BBQ dinner, don't feel too guilty, you got your exercise in & that sure helps! I haven't added exercise to my plan yet. Once I make room around the treadmill & recumbant bike that are in the basement, I will start again. Glad to hear that your MIL is doing great since surgery. Well, I keep on getting pop-up ads & this is so time-consuming for me, so I'm going to close for now. Hi to Ginny & anyone else that I missed. TTFN

Chubba 01-15-2004 11:10 AM

Good morning

Looks like the regular smilies are back. I wasnt' too keen on the new one's anyway. We need some Valentine's smilies!

Candy, pics of the kids  . Newborns are funny. They don't do anything yet parents are always snapping pictures of them laying around. I have started scrapbooks for both of the boys. Way behind of course. ;) That's one of the projects I need to start working on after they go to bed ... instead of snacking. I think I'm just feeling overwhelmed at the thought of all of it  .

Andrea, how's it going without Dh? We're here if you need us. :)

Got 3 loads of laundry done this am and now Will's wanting to play. I think I spent too much time on the computer yesterday and not enough with him. He was pretty naughty but got my attention whenever he was. So I'm off for now. Plan on chatting at 2 central if I can.

See you there! Hey Suzi, you out there??? HOpe you didn't get lost during the crashes.

Bye for now.

Chubba 01-15-2004 11:11 AM

Hi Jackie ... just missed you!! I'm in Oak Creek .. just south of Milwaukee. Where are you??

Chubba 01-15-2004 11:14 AM

And congrats on the 5 pounds!!

spryng 01-15-2004 11:38 AM

Good morning all!
Jackie, congrats on the 5# loss!!! That is fantastic. And don't worry so much about the exercise... I started gung-ho with mine when I started WW but it stalled me so I quit. Once my weight loss picked back up I thought I'd do it again but then just didn't. I started it again last week but slow. Some days I'll do a Firm dvd and others I'll just lay in the floor and do crunches or watch tv and use my dumbells... but it's something. But you'll have plenty of time to incorporate that back into your routine later. :)
Candy, sounds like your mexican dinner went great. I had mexican too, sort of... Taco bell, lol. but I stayed within my points so I was proud of myself. That is hard to do when I'm with DH sometimes because he's a big eater and it makes me want to eat more too.
Geri, how in the world did you get three loads of laundry done??? I have about 6 loads of clean laundry to fold and another 3-4 to wash. I am the worlds worst folder and puter awayer.... lol. But I don't mind washing and drying
Well, my eveing was fun. Dh got in at 5 pm and I met him in town for dinner. The kids were so happy to see him and of course I was too. We went to Taco Bell and then came home. He ened up staying until midnight :o so we had plenty of alone time after the kids went to bed. But right after he left his truck woke Tanner up who cried and cried (he sleeps in my room still) and I had to rock him back to sleep and then something else woke him up at 3 am and he screamed for over an hour and I couldn't get him back out so I finally gave up and put him in bed with me at 4 am and he went right out. This was the first time he has slept with me and even though he slept well I didn't. So I am very tired today. So you may or may not see me at 2 pm today. But I'll try. But I may be napping myself! lol.
But tonight I'm finally making those morningstar burgers and fries for dinner. What is everyone else having?? I know I ask that everyday but no one ever tells me!!! :?: I'm a curious person!!! Ok, got to get off here and get something done. TTYL! (oh, is anyone else recieving email notifications when a new post is made? I was for a while but it hits and misses... not like it used to be since the crash)

Chubba 01-15-2004 11:41 AM

Hi Spryng,

I'm having leftovers ... we have chicken breasts, ribs, rice, mashed potatos, broccoli all left that have to be eaten! So there, I told you ... lol. Hope you get some rest.

candybar74 01-15-2004 12:00 PM

Hey everybody! Spryng, glad you had a good visit with DH. Sorry that Tanner was up so much though. Sean slept with me until he was 2 months old and then often we would both fall asleep in bed while nursing so I adapted to that quickly and learned to get my sleep regardless. Hope you get some rest today!

Jackie, congrats on your loss! That is great!!! I am trying to increase my excercise too. Haven't been doing so good for the past week. I ordered a couple Leslie Sansone walk videos and a kickboxing video today off Half.com plus I have a hula video and of course my pilates DVD's. Between that, the Gazelle and my mini-trampoline, I should be able to get some excercise in!!!

Geri, I'm gonna try and make it to the chat room today.

Gotta run.

A&A's Mom 01-15-2004 12:17 PM

Hey Geri!
Thanks for the support! I really appreciate it! Things are going pretty good with Dh gone. It really isn't going to be to bad b/c he is going to be coming home on the weekends. His training is in Memphis and that's about 4hrs. from my house. I did find out he will be based in Detroit. So sorting out all of the commuting details is going to be a chore. But I'm not complaining, I'm very thankful for a job!!
I hate to sound all emotional, but I'm really glad I found ya'll!
Hope you had a good day with Dh, Spryng!
Hi to Candy, Ginny, Jackie, Ricci and whoever I missed! TTYL!

need2losemore 01-15-2004 12:49 PM

Good moring everyone.
Spryng, I don't usually know what I am having for dinner untill I go fix it. thats why I never answer you. That is probraly not the best way to eat when trying to lose weight, but thats how it goes here. I am now down to a size 10. I am so excited. Especially since in september I was a 14. I hope eveyone has a good day. I will try to make it to the chat room today.

Chubba 01-15-2004 12:53 PM

Congrats Ricci!! Woo Hoo on the size 10!!!

ECmom 01-15-2004 01:20 PM

Just a quickl hello! I have some stuff to do on the internet for Dd and college....so that will take up most of my afternoon. And yes, I got my call this am, the kids have no school. Congrats to Jackie and Ricci on a 5# loss and a size 10, respectively.
BTW, Spryng, I have gotten no email notifications since the crash from this site. Don't know what is going on- I have signed up for them too.

Just a funny story from the WW meeting last night. I was not going to stay- it was so cold out and Ds's practice was cancelled because of the snow. But the leader seemed to be really upbeat and not quite so snotty.....so I stayed. Well she told the story of how she had had a horrible week or two- her dad was in the hospital for 2 weeks (was only supposed to be there a few days, there were complications) and the stress of the holidays, etc... We all know that story. She was going to visit her Df, and asked her Dd to drive, as she was tired and needed a break. On the way, they hit a deer (very common here in NYS) and the car is in very bad shape. Thankfully, the leader(Denise) and her Dd are just fine. So as Denise tells us this tale of woe....and how she did some stress eating that night, one of the members raised her hand and asked the leader if they saved the meat.......Denise asked why- then the member blurted out, well venison is only 2 points a serving!!!!!! Talk about laughter, the whole room broke up. The meetings are great. But so is this thread!!!

Well, ladies, gotta go..house full of kids and lots to do. Have a great day. And please forgive me Andrea, Geri, Candy, Spryng......anyone I missed out there.
Ginny

Chubba 01-15-2004 02:11 PM

Just came across a cool web site. http://www.nutritiondata.com/index.html
you can look at food labels here among other things. Check it out if you have the time.

Freckles 01-15-2004 02:56 PM

Geri,

I live in West Bend. My cousins are from Oak Creek & South Milwaukee though & I spent a lot of summers growing up there while visiting my cousins.
My cousins names are Ilene, Rich & Jim. Rich is married to Ginger & has 3 kids-Richie, Molly & oops...I forgot the youngest's name. Jim is married to Lisa & they have 2 kids-Laura & Corey. Ilene lives in MA & has a son named Ian. Any of these names sound familiar to you? I think Lisa has a sister named Geri, could it be you? If it is....small world, huh? Ginny: I loved the WW/Deer story. Deer are very common in WI too & I could tell you a good one when I have the time. Spryng: Glad you had some family time with DH. Sorry to hear that Tanner kept waking up & I do hope that you got a nap in sometime today. Well, I've gotta scoot. TTFN I'll address the rest of you later, okay?

Chubba 01-15-2004 03:00 PM

Jackie, I used to date a guy that lived in Kohlsville so I spent some time in West Bend....I'm not Lisa's sister, but it sure is a small world!!

spryng 01-15-2004 07:43 PM

Good evening all!
Sorry I missed the chat this afternoon... I did get a nap and boy did it help! I feel much better this evening. :)
Ginny that is a very cute story about the deer! And it is so true... once you are on WW for awhile everything converts to points. You hear someone talk about wanting to eat something and you think "that is such and such amount of pts!" I do anyway. But it is nice too.
Ricci, congrats on a size 10!!! That is so great. May I ask your stats? What weight you started at, where you are now and what your goal is plus how tall you are? Sounds like you are doing great though.
Andrea, glad you are coping well without your DH. See? It does become habit. But it's nice he gets to come home every weekend to see you.
Candy, out of all those exercise tapes and machines which one/ones do you enjoy the best? I think I'm going to get a pilates dvd tomorrow to try out. I've heard such great things about it in general. Then that will give me more variety too.
Well, I had my veggie burgers tonight and boy were they tasty! I'll be having those again. The kids said it tasted like Mcdonalds!! So that is a plus. :)
OK, I need to get off here. TTYL!

A&A's Mom 01-15-2004 10:37 PM

We'll ya'll won't believe this, but Alex went to bed at 7:30 tonight. He fell asleep during the ride home from my mom's. My dad grilled hamburgers :burger: and boy were they GOOD!!! :D My dad is great with the grill. ;) It's 9:30 here, and I'm going to bed after I finish this post. I never go to bed this early, but with Dh gone, (he is a night owl) I have no reason to stay up.
Geri, I love Shania's album. You're right, that is good music for walking!! :)
I loved the deer story too!! We have deer right in our backyard and see them on the road in our neighborhood all the time! We live in a small town, about 2,000 pop. I guess you could say we live in the sticks!! Well, this is supposed to be a rainy weekend, so I'm hoping for some good cuddling time. One of my favorite things to do is cuddle on the couch and watch movies while it is raining outside! O.k. I miss him. I guess I'm kind-of pathetic!
Spryng, let me know if you find a good pilates video. I wanted to order Winsor, but don't need to spend that much money right now. I was going to buy one at WalMart, but couldn't decide. I guess I was scared I would get a dud!
Well I'd better go, I think I'll watch HGC before I go to bed. TTYL!! :D

Chubba 01-15-2004 11:08 PM

Hi there,

It was just Candy & I in the chat room today. Sorry you couldn't make it. Candy was trying to make me feel old by saying her Mom was 7 years older than me  (Hi there Candy) Does anyone else out there know who Bobby Sherman was?

Glad you got a nap in Spryng. I'll have to try those morningstar burgers one of these days. I'm always afraid they'll taste like cardboard or worse.

Andrea, I bought Pilates workout for dummies with Michelle Dozois and so far I like it. I have only watched the intro and done the first 6 exercises, but believe me I can feel it! It was about $15 at Target. There's a basic workout and then an intermediate workout on the same DVD. It's great that you miss your Dh so much .... I'd be worried if you didn't!! Get on over to the MSN page and click on the Join Now and get in the chatroom :D

Ginny, we have lots of deer here in WI ... too funny!

Well I did some Pilates tonight and then watched ER. Time for bed for me. Talk to you all tomorrow.

need2losemore 01-16-2004 09:25 AM

Good morning all,
I am never on here this early, but my mom came by at 7;30, and I decided, heck why not. I wasn't in the chat room yesterday b/c dh came home from work early and we went out to lunch. Went to the chinese restraunt. I had a lot of veggies and couldn't pass on the hot and sour soup. I will try to be there today.
Spryng, here are my stats. I am 5'7, and at 155. When I first started losing weight 2 yrs ago, I was at 200, and lost 31 lbs and hit a plateau. I kept working out, and then dh got the p90 videos in oct, and I've lost another 14. I just really need to work on my eating. I am going grocery shopping today. Any one have ideas on good snacks for me?
Andrea, its raining here right now. It's supposed to rain all weekend. I wanted to take the boys to the park, but now it looks like we will be going to the indoor playground at Burger king.
Ginny, Geri, Candy, Jackie, and anyone I missed, I hope you all have a good day.

A&A's Mom 01-16-2004 10:04 AM

Good Morning! :D
I only have time for a quick post. You know I told ya'll last night Alex went to bed at 7:30? As soon as I got to bed, he woke up and rolled around the whole night. At about 3 a.m., I decided to turn cartoons on and maybe he would be still and I could snooze a little. He finally went to bed at about 5:30 this morning! I was so frustrated with him! He is our little strong willed child and I have cut his naps out during the day cause he would be so hard to get to sleep at night. But then when he got up this morning, I noticed he was hot...so I took his temp and he has 101 deg. So off to the Dr. we go this morning at 10:30. I tried to get them to call something in since we were just in there Tues, but doc said he wanted to see him. Other than that, I'm just going to try to get the house cleaned up for dh tonight. He will be home about 9p.m., so you prob. won't hear from me tonight. I will check in later today and post my weigh-in in the morning!
Hope all of you have a great day!! Thanks for the info on the pilates tapes Geri! I'm going to try to get one today! I'll be thinking of you while it rains Ricci! Hope you have a good day. Hi to everyone else! TTYL! :D

Geri, sorry if it seemed I was trying to make you feel old. You're not real old :), my mom was just really young when she had me. Anyhows, enjoyed chatting with you yesterday.

Ricci, congrats on size 10, Yeah!!! Makes me wonder though...I am 5'7" and 154 lbs and I am still in 12's! What's up with that??? You must not be as wide as I am. I swear everything I eat goes straight to my hips and thighs. Oh well, you give me hope that it is not far off!

Spryng, glad you enjoyed your nap. I too love the veggie burgers. I recently tried a different brand, Gardenburger. Actually, I haven't tried the burgers yet, though they are in my freezer but the kids ate the chik nuggets yesterday and loved them and I ate the pork tenderloin (ha,ha) last night and it was great, what I got to eat. Sean took off with it before I could finish. Geri, meatless products have come a long way. They did used to be like cardboard but not anymore. The Morningstar Farm corndogs are really good for anyone who likes corndogs. You can't even tell they aren't real hot dogs. Anyhows, I've got some buffalo chic wings to try in there. Can't wait.

Ginny, hope you have a good day with all the kiddo's at home. I thought it was funny you edited your message for poor spelling. I do that all the time!!! I just don't tell why I'm editing! :) Anyhows, glad you enjoyed your meeting and that everyone had a good laugh.

Andrea, glad you got some rest and hope you have a good weekend with DH. I have an assembly this weekend so I probably won't be around much.

Oh, before I forget. Geri, if you can see it to forgive me and please, please, please give me all the details from ER last night, I would sooooo appreciate it. I was so tired I zonked at 10pm and completely forgot about ER. If you will, you can either pm me or email me at [email protected]. I will love you forever!!!!!!!! :D

Well, I've gotta get some errands done today and I am planning on cleaning my carpets later since we won't be here tomorrow and they will have lots of time to dry. But for that, I am going to need a nap. Hope to be back in time to chat.

Hope everyone is having a great day!!!

Hmmnn.......Bobby Sherman? Do I dare admit that I know who he is/was? He was a pop/rock teenage idol of the late 60's/early 70's I believe. I probably have him on one of my cd's collection from the oldies 60's/70's. I'll have to go dig them out & see, okay? I was just cleaning my house to those cd's yesterday. I was singing along with Petula Clark, The Bee Gee's & so on. It kept me moving & away from food. Ricci: A size l0, I'm jealous!! ;) I used to be that size about 11 years ago! I'd be happy to be in a size 12 right now! When I was 140# & my ht is 5'5" I was in 10's & 12's. Oh! how I'd love to be that size again! Exercise, Exercise, Exercise!! I'LL BE BACK LATER AS MY COMPUTER IS ACTING UP AGAIN. TTFN

Good morning all!
This thread is starting to stay busy again! I just love that. :)
jackie, I'm glad you knew who bobby sherman was because I had no idea... But I guess he was before my time. ;) Hope your computer gets straightened out soon.
Candy, is it your two day or one day tomorrow?? Have fun!! Do your kids do well sitting all day? And I am going to start trying different veggie products. For one they are so much lower in pts for the same taste, and that is worth it to me!
Andrea, so sorry you had a rough night and your little one is now sick. You may need a nap today, yourself! Enjoy your DH being home tonight!
Ricci, your stats look very good. Thanks for sharing them with us! And as for snacks? Well I love the Smart Ones chocolate cake dessert and I make sugar free jello all the time with a dollop of fat free whipped cream on top. But I'm not much a snack eater so maybe some of the other ladies can help you out there.
Geri, do you need an exercise mat for doing pilates? Are alot of their workouts on your back or anything? I broke my tailbone when I had my second baby and it hurts when pressure is applied to it so when I do crunches I have to lay a very thick comforter on the floor to keep it from killing me. And are they anything like aerobics? I just really don't want aerobics, not very graceful here. lol.
Well, Dh and I have come to a decision today about moving. We are stopping our house hunt and going to stay here another year. Why? Because my car is dying on me and it's time we invest in a new vehicle that I can rely on. I didn't think I was going to get home last night. It really scared me. So instead of putting all of our money towards another home we have decided to hold out one more year, do odds and ends on this house and buy a new van and maybe get a nice vacation in this year. It was hard for me to give up the idea of moving... but we have a home right now and even though I'd like it to be bigger it works for us so I need to focus on other needs we have too. So we won't be moving this year afterall. Makes me a little sad but I feel good about the decision. So we will do some more remodling to this house (a little bathroom remodel and finish up odds and ends from the last remodel) and hopefully get in central heat and air... and just enjoy another year right where we are now.
Well I have been invited to Dh's cousins house for dinner. She and I are pretty good friends. She has 4 kids that love to entertain mine and it's always fun so I will be over there this evening. But I do plan on chatting today at 2 pm.
Ok, guess I'll get off here. TTYL!

Another "drive thru" visit here. We are one of the few districts to have school. Warwick is open- on a delayed opening, which means that I have about 3 minutes to myself today. Most schools here are closed because it is so cold and the busses are not starting up at all. But we have such an excellent mechanics shop.......is that good or bad?? and all the buses are up and running, including mine. Them's the breaks. Sorry no time to get personal today- I am off to drive again. I did get a session in with WATP for 45 minutes. Hope to see you later.......have a great day!!!!!!

Geri, he is who I thought he was. He was in a Partridge movie or something, wasn't he? Anyhows, thanks for the ER update.

Sorry not to get too personal but I am beat. Didn't get my nap and I cleaned the carpets tonight so I am about ready to hit the hay, and the bed too! I'll try to get back here sometime this weekend just to check in. Hope you all have a great weekend!!!
