Good morning. It is warm but overcast and rainy here today. I have a waxing appointment but that’s it. Hopefully the rain will have moved through.

Well we decided to donate our upstairs vacuum to Salvation Army and buy a cordless one for upstairs too. I hope it works just as well as almost everything upstairs is carpet. We were having issues with the old one when you were finished and picked it up stuff fell out of the bottom. We don’t know why but we got tired of trying to clean it up everytime so it goes to charity.

I made stroganoff meatballs last night and ick for the recipe. I should have just gotten a beef stroganoff recipe. Jack ate it all but it had too much worchestershire in it for my taste. He wouldn’t have touched it if he knew it had mushroom soup in it, but I ran the soup through my Ninja blender then strained it to catch any errant pieces. I won’t be fixing this particular recipe again. Tonight is takeout or eat out as I will be getting home late.

Baseball season starts today. Yay!

Jean: Nope didn’t find the envelope. We must have mailed it and just can’t remember. Jack called that fool manager and he tells him, “I don’t know. I’llbe making a deposit next week.” Sheesh then you should be able to see if you have the check you numbskull! He is a jerk and lazy. I’ll just have to see if it comes through the bank because I’m not stopping payment at this point. They closed Sam’s here in Memphis and I heard they closed several more. We haven’t belonged in probably 30+ years and they probably lost business when they changed their membership and made it like it is now. Hope everything goes well for Bob tomorrow.

Everyone have a good day.

Good Afternoon! The sun is shining but it is a cold 45 degrees with the wind. What’s left of the snow must just be just sinking into the ground because the streets are bone dry. Most of the lake is open but going into the marina, by us, is still ice. The pelicans are here for a short time, as well as flocks of geese flying in and out on their way north. We had an interesting morning, more frustrating than anything. Bob was to be at the hospital at 8:30 this morning; par for us, we were a few minutes early. His nurse goes to our church and I also had her for one of my cataracts so we know her, which is nice. She has him in a hospital gown, vitals blipping on the computer, and she is going through his history asking about prescription meds. This morning he took one he wasn’t supposed to because it lowers the blood pressure under anesthesia, and it is difficult to get it to come back up. The pre-op nurse who called him earlier in the week didn’t tell him not to take it. :hyper: The surgeon was running an hour behind so the anesthesia nurse came in and said maybe they could do a local instead, but he would check with the surgeon. Bob wasn’t excited about that at all. His knee has been more swollen for a few days so when the surgeon came in he thought waiting was a better plan too. So surgery is rescheduled for next Tuesday. I have a load of laundry in the washer, need to vacuum, then make a pan of brownies for tomorrow when Beth and family will be here.

“Gma,” I :lol3: when you talk about blending the cream of mushroom soup! I do think the pieces of mushrooms are larger lately. I can eat little pieces but not the larger sliced or whole mushrooms. Ick! I am surprised at SAM’s Club closing. We have more SAM’s than Costco in our area. I don’t know if that is a midwestern thing or not. I was in an Arizona Costco store many years ago when we visited Bob’s parents. I thought it was much like SAM’s in design. What is the difference in the memberships now? We have a business one which allows us to shop at 7am, :woohoo: and also add employees or family members at a cheaper rate. Needless to say we’ve never shopped at 7 am! I’m sure if we lived closer, and had kids at home, I would shop there more often.

I need to get busy and accomplish the things on my list. Enjoy the rest of your day! :bunny2:
