Hi all,

Off to PT shortly to get the vertigo fixed. Something about the weather/air/conditions making both DH and I feel like our heads are stuffed up. Nose isn't running, just the head is like having your head in a bowl or something. That sort of feeling always entices the vertigo for me so I always wondered if somehow the sinuses are related to the crystals in the ear but they say no.

Now that I asked the question about my foot pronation and leg/knee/foot pain - it's like all the answers came clear. Alot of the pain I have been experiencing starts in the foot area. But now that I know the source, easier to deal with. I have also started taking supplements again - tumeric, collagen, gelatin, krill oil and noticed the pain is not as intense as it was a few days ago.

No big plans for the weekend - just hanging around and tackling projects.

Shad - I always forget how funky this site is until the very second I do something I remember I should not have. Your power bill sounds like they are taking advantage of the situation - just like petrol/gas prices here - they ALWAYS seem to get jacked up every holiday when people are travelling. Coincidental that there is always some sort of explanation for the rise in prices and then immediately after the holiday is over, boom, the prices drop again. With the power they say that the demand is high so prices are high. Shouldn't it be the case if more people want it, they have plenty to sell so it should be LESS expensive??? Anyway hope you stay comfortable.

Laura - good luck with the Dansko shoes. At least there should be a store or two in the mall where you can try on some different makes and styles. Wish you could wear them for 30 days to really tell if they help the problem. Ugh on the friend who is Missus Football. I would have nothing to talk about with her HOpe you can get together for lunch. Enjoy your extra day off.

Hope you feel better Annie and don't knock yourself out working Susie. How did it go at the dentist Ceejay?

I need to hop in the shower and get ready. Have a good weekend chicks.

Still breathing...funny thing with sickness, I have not wanted or had any iced tea or bp coffee. It just doesn't sound very good. I have drank a ton of water and that is all that I want or seems to quench my thirst. Probably a good thing.

made baked white fish last night for dinner and summer veggies (frozen section). They were good. I enjoyed them. C ate two helpings. Sam was out running around with friends as Chris had the boys last evening.

Nothing planned for the weekend. Just more rest. I have a follow up appt with my primary care doc next week on Thursday. My meds run out after Sunday this weekend. Still coughing a lot but the doc said that may go on for a while. How long is a while?

HAPPY...nice to know where all the pain is coming from. It may help to eliminate some pain if you can fix the source. Fingers crossed. The blood that I was coughing up was from the pneumonia (infection in the lower lobe). Just plain gross.

SHADDIE...kind of get the air con bill. Our heating bill is enormous this month because of all the sub zero temps/winds and snow. In the winter our bill usually runs around 180.00. It is almost 500.00 this month. OMGosh, heart attack.

LAURA...hope you find some shoes that help with your stress fracture. What a PIA it has been. Enjoy your breakie with your friend. Looks like warmer temps for us this weekend.

CEEG...how did the dentist appt go?

SUSIE....come up for air darlin'.

Make it a great weekend. Hugs

Hi Ladies,
I am so happy it Is Friday. The week has been a rough one but I am seeing a pinhole of light at the end of this tunnel!

I went and had my hair done last night and skipped my TOPS meeting. I don’t usually do that but my appointment for Saturday had to be rescheduled due to memorial service for a dear friend whose Father passed on Sunday. She has been though it with her parents in the past two years. Her mother passed the exact same date last year and now her dad!

So we have the memorial service tomorrow afternoon, a birthday dinner at 6 pm. and then on Sunday a gymnastics meet in KY that starts at 11 but Bryn (niece) has to be there at 10:15 for open stretch. The weekend is not going to be a relaxing one. But I do love to watch Bryn compete.

Shad: I hope your friend does well with the chemo and gets this behind him quickly. Once we turn our air on it stays on and it stays at 74F in this house year round be it heat or cooling. I have us set up on budget billing where we pay the same every month. Usually it all balances out and come July for the true-up, we usually are even. I like it that way so I can budget. Annie: Do you have this option with your electric source? We have it with our gas source too.

Happy: I can see how you would easily mix up the anniversary and the birthday. How did the appointment go to get your vertigo taken care of?
I think it is very good you figured out where the pain is coming from in conjunction with your feet and knees, because now you can really work on what needs to be done to help alleviate the pain.

Laura: I hope you are enjoying your day off. Let us know how the shoe shopping went. Yes I do get paid for the overtime and with some cosmetic home improvements I have going on the next month it will come in handy!

Ceejay: How did it go at the dentist?

Annie: How are you feeling? Be sure to get rest this weekend. A girl I know from church was just admitted to the hospital with pneumonia. She said she felt fine the day before and then just woke up really ill and went to the ER and they admitted her. She’s on a bunch of meds and hopes to go home tomorrow. So, be careful, sister-friend and take care of yourself.

Afternoon,
Trip to the Dentist was okay but will be expensive to get things done. They did xrays yesterday. Go back on Monday for my cleaning and then am schedule to have two crown and two fillings done. Yikes. No one to blame but myself and the fear of dentist.
Picked up the condo today also. The animals are having their sleep day today. Found out they go in cycles.
Also went to the Rec Plex to work out. I'm going to go on my own from now on. Sis is to tired when she gets home in the evenings.
I'm disturbed about something that I saw at home last weekend. I opened my coat closet to hang up my coat to find more than half of my coats/jackets gone. My light was also on in the my closet too. Not sure if any thing was taken in there or not. I don't think that any one has broken in but I do think it could be my nephew scrounging around looking for something to pawn. When I go home tomorrow I'm going to see if the drugs that the doctor gave me for my back is still there. If they are missing I'm talking to my brother in law first cause I don't want to upset my sister. I want to resolve this myself even if I get back my key and tell him he is not welcome there with out me being there.
Been eating with calorie limits this week. Feels good to be on plan
--------------

Annie
I hate that you have to be back at working not feeling well. I'm not to fond on fish except catfish.

Susie
Bet you are happy to see the week end get here. I'm actually going to spend the night in Branson and go home tomorrow. Except I will be going to my great nieces cheer leading practice and then to one of my great nephews basket ball games. I would like to go to hear my nephews and niece sing tonight at a club in Springfield. Maybe I can do that at another time.

Happy
I've heard a lot about tumeric. Will google that some more. I really need to keep up with the vitamins and minerals that I had stated taking last year. Hope the pt session goes well.

Laura
I need to find a pair of shoes that I like and keep buying those instead of going from one to the other. I like new balance for sure. Enjoy our breakfast in the morning with your friend.

Howdy chicks,

Went to the casino yesterday morning - they were having a promotion regarding accumulating points I was interested in. While playing I won $1,000 on a slot machine. Gave DH a few hundred dollars and packed away the rest for "my stash". We ate lunch at the casino and then stopped for me to pick up my new eyeglasses. I have several frames I barely used so I just had them put new lens into a relatively new frame I had at the house. According to the eye doctor (and me unable to see), my prescription changed quite a bit - needed stronger glasses. The place I got the glasses at was a discount place in town that most people like. I used them once before and was not happy how the glasses came out but I chalked that up to the fact that the doctor who did my cataract surgery didn't give me the correct prescription. When I put the new glasses on yesterday, they didn't seem quite right but there were alot of people in the store so I just took them and said let me see how this works and I will come back another day - they said great. These are progressive lens - I think they didn't do the middle part correctly and they have too much space allocated to the middle part. To see my computer screen which should be the middle of the glasses I have to look through the very bottom and I also have to look through the very top part to see distance (which is what I mostly need the glasses for). I could go to the eye doctor in town but they charge ridiculously for the glasses. I paid about $175 for these (lens only). The eye doctor said to replace just the lens in my current glasses with the new prescription would be over $400!!!! I could see that when I had my old pre-cataract eyes where I was half blind and needed all sorts of things. I had paid about $2,000 for 3 pairs of glasses (distance/progressives, computer mid-range, and sunglasses) after I had the eye surgery. I picked up the glasses right before my knee surgery and didn't really use them that much while recovering from surgery. By the time I got back on my feet, I realized the glasses needed tweeking but several months had passed and the eye doctor said the lab who makes the glasses would charge me to adjust them so it was all on my dime. I'm sort of stuck here between the cheap place that is really helpful but I wonder about the quality and the expensive doctor's place. Otherwise I have to go all the way to Duluth - 90 minutes away which is kinda crazy this time of year for about 3 trips - one to order them, another to go get them and possibly a third trip to adjust and remake them if needed. Frustrating!!! I will stop back at the glasses place the end of the week when they are open on Thursday and see what they have to say about adjusting them.

I also went on Friday to have the procedure done that resets the crystals in the ears for vertigo. I DID NOT LIKE that therapist. A young, cocky guy who runs the place - the kind who doesn't listen to you and just wants to hear himself talk. I am regretting I did not have the doctor's office re-fax the order to the therapy place at the hospital. Anyway he did what he needed to do. I go back Monday for a follow up. He said to keep my head as level as possible for 48 hours - which is what happened before as they don't want those crystals moving back. I had to sleep sitting up in the recliner and could not bend down to do any housework But then when I mentioned I was going to the other PT clinic for my foot - he said my insurance might deny this vertigo claim because you are supposed to use one clinic for all P/T. I said that was not MY fault - the doctor's office sent the fax to you even though I said I was going to the hospital clinic. He said (pompously) that THEY don't have a doctor who can do this procedure. B/S I thought to myself - they are doing it now and I know the therapist who is doing the procedure. So Monday I will have to call the insurance company in the morning.

When we got home yesterday I gave DH a haircut/trim of sorts to get rid of the straggly ends on his hair. We went to dinner - just had caesar salads - him with chicken, mine with steak because we had a big lunch. DH ordered a crock of french onion soup - he said the broiled cheese was better but the soup itself - the one we made last week was much more flavorful and better. We went to a live performance yesterday of a Chicago blues band. DH brought us earplugs which we really needed. The performance is held in what was once the old movie theater in town. Those old seats are mighty UNCOMFORTABLE. My legs were cramping up alot. And of course, in a room full of seats, the TALLEST man in the room had to come and sit in front of me. DH switched seats with me and after about 5 minutes I was overcome by this most unpleasant smell. The woman he was with had doused herself with the same body lotion that my Mom uses - Jergens Ultra Healing lotion. Forgive me but both my sister and I are repulsed by that smell. The regular Jergens scent of almonds is really nice but there is something about the Ultra lotion that is cloying and awful. I had to sit with my sweater pulled over my nose. By the time they sat down almost all the seats were taken and by the time I wanted to move, there was nowhere to move too. And on top of that, the group was ok, but nothing special. We stayed for the first set and left at the intermission.

Today I can bend down again so I'll pick up where I left off with cleaning and laundry. DH saw a recipe that looked interesting - pork roast that you cook up and then you add a can of baked beans with some chopped fresh apples to finish it off. I think I will do that in my Instant Pot. It's snowing outside - big, fluffy flakes. Looks pretty. Sadly it's going to be kind of treacherous out there - we had a couple of days of just over freezing temps. Enough to start to melt things but not enough warmth to completely melt so everywhere there are patches of melted water that refroze into slick ice. And we are headed to the deep freeze again for a week so no chance of that melting soon. Just have to be really careful.

Ceejay - ouch on the dental work expense!!! I hope they can take care of you with minimal discomfort. I have to brave it like you also and get this chipped tooth fixed. That was disturbing about your missing items. I hope there is not petty theft going on or that means that the nephew is using again. Good for you for getting on plan with your eating.

Susie - how sad about your friend losing her dad! Was it one of these cases where the person lost their partner and with it their will to carry on? Very sad. I hope next week is a little more calm for you at work - this one sure was a fast trot on the hamster wheel!

Annie - hope you are getting some rest this weekend and getting all cured. Everyone you talk to has a devastating flu story. It sure is knocking the stuffing out of people!

Shad - as we roll into February (my least favorite month of the year) I sure would love you to send some of your heat this way. Yesterday we were in the car and DH was chanting "come ON summer!!!" If you are planning on coming out this way this year and we intend to meet as a group "at the commune" we should start laying some basic plans like how many and how long. I have to cover for my partner at the thrift shop and bingo when he goes on his European vacation and I told him that I might have guests at that time. He said he thought of that but had to book at a specific time (August 19th - September 9). There isn't really that much I have to personally deal with and he said I could always opt to cancel bingo when he's not there. But I am a planner and I would like to have some heads up even if it's very tentative at the moment.

Would the rest of you be interested in coming up here for a long weekend when Shad's here?

Alright - somehow it went from 9am to 11:30 without me noticing it. I have a sink of dishes to be washed and I don't want the day getting away from me - some specific things I want to accomplish today.

Enjoy your Sunday ladies.

The weekend has flown by. It is Sunday night and I still have the bathroom to clean. We never made it to the grocery this weekend and will have to go after work tomorrow. Ugh!

Today we went to KY to watch niece Bryn for her gymnastics competition. We left the house at 8:30 am. Drove an hour to the meet, they have 1 hr stretch before the meet, then the meet is about 3 hr ,then awards is an hoir, wr had a late lunch and drove back home. It was a long day but a fun one.

I will come back tomorrow and do personals. DH is watching the basketball game and I am not interested so I am going to go get the shopping done. I will clean the bathroom tomorrow after we get home from work.

Default hello

Susie
you sure have had a busy day. Rest awhile before you go back to work tomorrow.

Happy
I did tell my brother in law but yesterday when I came inside I looked in the coat closet. All my coats were there. He must have moved them playing a joke on me. But even that I don't like any more. Yes, I could have fainted when they told me how much the procedures would cost but like I said no one to blame but myself. He did take another drug test a couple of weeks ago and evidently he passed or his wife would have spilled the news.
Yeah for winning on the slot machine.

------
I had a busy Saturday morning. Went to watch my nephew's daughter cheer. She's only 7. So cute in her outfit. And after that went to the other nephew's son's basketball game. It was fun to watch 5 and 6 year olds play. They are still learning and of course they had to lower the basketball goal. I did a lot of laughing.

Good Morning Chicklet sisters

I found you'all

I'm ready to reboot my health again with my Amazing friends here.

I Hope that everyone is enjoying a happy & healthy Upside in our New Year
To my friends that are going through problems, I remember your strengths & your frailties & I know that you Will Endure & Be Successful because our Lord is here for you 24/7

My health is good again, with just some do-able problems that needs my weight back under 150# funny how eating Healthy puts on fat when we are unable to be physically active.
I have had a hernia with occasional pains for 3 years that I was supposed to have surgery, but my Dh had his surgery & it tore out so I've been on the fence about it. In October I tore my knee meniscus & after Dh medical insurance changed we need to save up for that extra expense..That's life So I need to lose 10-15# to take weight off my knee & hernia. Does anybody know the name of a Easy-- Yoga DVD for me to try?

Ok after I post this, I'll be logged back into 3fc again & I can come back & read your recent posts to do some catching up from almost a year ago & I can join you'all often

BLessings to each of you wishing you a wonderful day.

Good morning. DH is driving to work and I am riding along so I thought it was a good time to post.

Dee! So glad to have you back! Just jump in..you will catch up soon.

Ceejay: I am glad your coats were back. Did you check on the medicine to be sure it was there?

It sounds like your neices and nephews keep you busy like mine do. They are so cute when cheering or playing sports when they are little like that.

Happy, how exciting that you won big at the slots!!

That person who reset your ear crystals sounds like someone who has an agends.

Hello to Shad, Annie and Laura.

I will try to get back later today and read the new posts and respond.

Good morning ladies,

Ugh - my dryer is on it's last roll. I hope it's not an expensive repair as I really like this dryer and would like to keep it. I will have to call Sears today to set up a repair. Yesterday I tried a recipe DH found - cook up a pork roast (I made it in the Instant Pot), then pull the roast out - toss in some onions and chopped fresh apple chunks to saute a bit till softened and then toss in 2 cans of baked beans of your choice. Break the roast into chunks and mix it back in. Sounded interesting. I was not keen on it but DH liked it so he can finish it off. I have been wearing my new glasses this weekend. I think they made the mid range progressive too wide in the lens and too high. I have to look at the top of my glasses to see distance (which is mostly why I want them) or look at the very bottom to see the computer or reading close up. I will take them back the end of the week when they are open again. I signed us up for lunch at the senior center today - not sure if DH wants to go. If we do we have to eat fast as they serve at 12 and I have to go for the follow up for the vertigo at 12:30. Should be do-able. Then I have to head to the thrift shop for my afternoon shift - am teaching one of the board members how the thrift shop works. She can be a close ally in trying to convince those who can/should make decisions that we need to start running this shop like a real retail business instead of the corner shop by the ladies auxiliary. I think the vertigo reset worked - I have not made the move that would make me dizzy again. Head still feels a bit clogged - the Claritin medication he recommended did not do anything for either me or DH. DH is suffering today with his hand cramping up as well as trigger finger on several fingers. When he makes a fist, not all of his fingers will open. They say that has nothing to do with his neck issues. He is waiting on a call from the hand doctor to get an appointment. We will have to go to the Duluth area, so that will mess up one of my appointments this week - as long as it's not tomorrow, not a big deal.

Dee - good to hear from you again. As for yoga recommendations, I would suggest you get anything with Peggy Cappy. Her videos can be purchased on Amazon. Peggy did a series of TV shows on PBS - the public broadcasting network. She does a gentle style of yoga with modifications which I like because if you have medical issues that prevent you from doing the standard "pretzel yoga" that most people teach, you can do Peggy's DVDs. I have about 4 of them and I like her alot, especially since you can do as little or as strenuous as you like.

Susie - I hope your work week is less crazy busy. Did you get your grocery shopping taken care of? I hated having to shop after a long work day. I have kept the recipe cards from the Hello Fresh meals I have ordered just as a quick backup in case I need to make something fast and I am out of ideas. Most of their stuff is pretty basic and simple with stuff I can easily pick up or have on hand.

Ceejay - glad your coats were all there. Sometimes boys think something is a really funny joke that girls don't see the humor in. DH says things sometimes that I think are really dumb - difference between boys and girls. I'm glad that your nephew is working to stay clean. I'm not sure what's cuter than a 7 year old doing cheerleading.

Hellos to the rest of you ladies. I need to get a few things done before I head out the door. Will check back later.

Morning all. Happy Monday. I guess…

Happy – Your eyeglass situation sounds like a real PITA. == Congrats on your big slot machine win! Hope you don't have to use the $$$ for eyeglasses!! == I’m glad your vertigo seems to have cleared up. That’s a bad thing to go through. == Fingers crossed re your dryer.

Dee – Nice to see you post! I agree with Happy’s yoga recommendation of Peggy Cappy. I recall doing on of her dvd’s and it was definitely something geared towards people who need modifications, etc.

Susie – What a busy weekend for you! == Sad about your friend losing both parents in the span of a year. == I hope your work week is not as crazy as last week.

Ceejay – Good for you getting to the dentist, not fun at all when you need a lot of work done. Especially bad for the finances!! I did dental assisting part-time during college and remember a middle-aged man who came in for the first time in his adult life and not surprisingly, he ended up needing a lot of work. He had appointment after appointment to take care of everything. I’m sure you’ll be relieved when you’re finished. == Glad your coats weren’t gone. I hope your meds are not missing. Not a funny joke when your mind immediately goes to your nephew having a relapse… == Sounds like you enjoyed yourself at the little ones’ activities.

Annie – How are you feeling today? I hope you are done with all this illness. I'm so grateful my lungs feel good now after the cold air and illness affected them. == At least we’ve had some higher temps that will hopefully give you a break with your heating bill.

Shad – Any cooldown in site? You have to mentally prepare yourself when the aircon bill arrives! I have to do that when the property tax bill comes in the mail, lol.

==
I went to the mall on my day off on Friday. I didn’t like the Dansko shoes. Just don’t like the idea of wearing loose shoes where my heel comes out of them - and that’s the whole concept with those shoes. I sure don’t need to fall out of my shoes. I’m wondering if those athletic shoes with the rounded soles would be any help? Based on my understanding of them, they don’t seem like the sole would flex, which is what my doctor wants. Has anyone worn those?

After the shoe store, I hit the A&W for a small root beer float. Yum. Then it was on to JC Penney to see if I saw anything that caught my fancy since I have a gift card. Nope. I just didn’t care for any of the clothes or the purses. I recall Susie saying she likes the Worthington brand dress pants, and I noticed they had a huge section of them. Too bad I don’t need any dress pants at the moment because we can wear jeans year-round at work. I might end up using the gift card for bras and undies, or something for the house.

On Friday I also assembled my mini greenhouse. It went up quickly. I read reviews of people complaining about the assembly and the finished product. I had no problem because I used a rubber mallet to assemble it.

Saturday was my hair appointment. Back at home I ended up repotting the croton into a pot by itself as it wasn’t doing well with the one orchid. So now all the plants that were in the orchid arrangement are all planted separately. I hope the croton fares better now.

I also started some spinach seeds and basil seeds from what I had on hand at home. If they don’t germinate within a reasonable amount of time, then I’ll know they are too old. I have to shop for some other herb seeds anyway, and it’s probably best not to waste my time and soil on old seeds.

My grow light stand doesn’t fit in the mini greenhouse, so I will probably take the part of the light fixture that holds the bulbs out of the stand and rig it up some other way. I’ll likely need grow lights for each of the shelves, but I’m going to start off with just the one I have. If I get into this greenhouse thing, I’ll invest in some more lights in the future.

Yesterday I met my friend for lunch and that was nice. It’s been a while since I’ve seen other friends, but it’s hard to schedule sometimes. Especially in winter when the day you scheduled might be a blizzard or super cold temps.

Okay, off to post. Everyone have a good day.

Laura
Your root beer float sounds really good. Haven't had one in years.
I'm ashamed of myself for not going to the dentist. And I was shocked that I didn't have to have more worked done. I will make it a point to do this regularly from now on.

Hi Susie.

Forgot to mention that nephew did not get any of the meds. Big sigh of relief.
The hygienist cleaned my teeth and gave me an antibiotic treatment on my gums. She said there was bacteria. Must have gingivitis. She told me not to brush for 12 hours and not to floss for 2 weeks. Next appointment is Feb 8 for crown prep. UGH.

I accomplished a lot today at work but there is always more to do. But it can wait until tomorrow.

I am going to post here and then do a 30 to 45 min cardio workout. I have my permission to stop at 30 if I want to. Oh the games we play with ourselves in the name of exercise.

Happy: I have been lucky to no have had glasses that didnt seem to be made correctly. Are you going to take them back?

I too have been keeping the recipe cards from the Hello Fresh meals for the same reason you are.

Ceejay: at least you have been to the dentist and you are taking care of things now.

Laura: you sound so happy when you talk about your little greenhouse.

I am thinking I would like to make up a couple of succulent arrangements to keep around the house. The Lowes add had some pretty cool one. I think of them as container gardens.

I cant believe you didnt find anything at JC Penny's that you wanted. I always find something wherever I shop! Shopping is a hobby of mine! Lol

Did you do anything different with your hair?

Hi to Shad and Annie. I better say goodbye for now and go get that workout in.

Morning all,

Will get this posted while it is still too hot to work. When I say hot, it is not as bad as it has been but we've had some showers and the humidity is now right up there. Move and you sweat.

I've been finishing up the painting in the laundry. Just one door to complete now before I move into the hall to finish that off. Did I mention I hate painting the fiddly bits like door trims and panelled doors etc. Anyway once that door is done, I can take some time off painting painful trim for a while.

My friend in Melbourne is retired and coming to Brisbane a the end of March. She has saved hard for this. You have to admire her business acumen. Anyway, she is staying with me for the Easter period and her furniture should arrive the following Wednesday. Her pets on the following weekend. They are not staying with me. I think Romeo would go into open revolt if they did.

Ceejay - Dentist all done for the moment. The root canal work doesn't sound very exciting but I guess it will need to be done.

Laura - The Croton is probably having a hard time indoors. They are normally outdoor plants. DS2 came home with a cutting of one the other day. I am trying to get it to strike. Glad you got the greenhouse up with a few blows from a mallet. Well it won't fall over if you got all the bits sited correctly will it.
I hate buying shoes. They have to be the expensive variety and there isn't always a great variety.

Happy - Good on you for winning the stash of money. How nice of you to give the DH some. Still he normally gives you some so I suppose it is good to pay him back.
Hope you can get this pain under control soon. It's very tiring apart from being demoralising.
I can work through those dates you gave me. I've been sort of thinking September/ October. Have to check with Centrelink to see if I have a time limit on the time I can be away. They have all sorts of rules so I better find out what they are.

Annie - hope you are starting to get back on your feet again. I think I saw that you were and had to go back to work again Take it carefully.

Susie - Hope you haven't had to work too hard this week. Glad you got to the gymnastics and saw the wee girl do her stuff. Well done to her

Dee - glad to hear that you are doing better. Long may it last for you. Look forward to hearing from you more regularly again.

I've attached a couple of photos (one of them that caused all the problems a couple of days ago). One is of my great niece who stayed with me for a week during her school holidays and the other is little miss S who started school yesterday. How time has flown. Anyway, time for me to move along and sort out the rest of my day. Can't work just now (too hot) so will have to find someplace to keep cool and read for an hour or two. I'd love to get out in the garden or to do a bit more painting but the paint dries between dipping it in the pot and getting it on the surface and leaves these stringy bits of soft paint everywhere. The weeds will wait another day or so I guess.
