Burrrrrrr, it's cold this morning at 37 degree's. Going too make chili tonight. No going to Branson tonight. Just thought it would be nice to stay at home.
Decided I need more than just a jetpack for my internet. It hold 15 gigs but that's not enough cause I've been watching some things on Netflix and YouTube.
Need to quit procrastinating and doe some things.

Annie
It does feel good to get some things paid off. Thanks for reminding me to check on and pay some bills.

Morning all. Chilly today. Not sure it’s hit 40 degrees yet. But I was dressed warmly, though my legs were a bit cold as I wasn’t wearing on of my long coats.

Ceejay – I’m glad it’s looking like things are on the mend with your sis and BIL. Relationships aren’t easy, that’s for sure. == Do you like your new hair color? It seems like the fading of my color happens so gradually over a few weeks that it’s nothing too noticeable, but by the time I’m due for a touch up, I’m feeling like I look washed out. It’s such a difference after the touch up. == We don’t use outside faucet covers, but I do need to make sure we disconnect and drain our hoses and turn off the valves that supply the outdoor spigots. I think I’ll do that this weekend. Thanks for the reminder!

Annie – I also agreed with Happy’s saying about living in the past. I saw another saying today that's in the same vein: “You gotta stop watering dead plants.” == I'm not feeling 100% yet, and the sore throat came back mildy last night, but I'm definitely feeling much better. I actually slept quite well last night with my nightguard/antisnore device. I'll try to take it easy again this weekend, but might spend a limited amount of time in the yard trying to clean up. == Lucky me – no snake skin photo! == Nice you can park your car in the garage now, especially with the cold weather coming! It really helps on those cold mornings! Did C sell his house, or was it just a mortgage re-finance? Good feeling to get things paid off. == Sounds like a nice quiet weekend for you. Yum, Greek food. I like it a lot – gyros, souvlaki (pork kebabs), saganaki (flaming cheese), Greek-style chicken, egg-lemon soup… oops, sorry for the food porn. Anyway, hope you go to that new place and I think S. would likely find something she likes!

Susie – How did TOPS go last night? == Commenting on the refi to Annie reminded me that you have some projects planned – have you started on any of them yet? What color did you decide on for your front door?

Hi Shad – How’s did your week go? Is the reno getting close to being done?

Hello to Dee – hope to see you here sometime soon, hope all is well.

==

Another uneventful evening. So much for bf’s grocery shopping – I had a can of soup for dinner last night. I think I’ll make a batch of soup this weekend. Or something in the slow cooker.

No big plans this weekend except hopefully some yard cleanup, or just disconnecting the hoses and turning off the water to the outdoor spigots. And of course all the indoor stuff that needs doing. I also need to buy some new makeup – I tossed out my eye makeup when I got the infection.

That’s it for me, so I’m off to post. Have a good weekend everyone.

Hello Everyone,

I just spent about 10 min ready all the posts this past week. It is nice to sit down and visit with all of you. I know at one time we talked about not having this thread and I'm glad we kept it.

It is so nice to just talk here and not do it all on Facebook. Facebook wears me out sometimes.

I stayed the same at TOPS. I was happy with that as I had 16 hours of overtime this week and I didn't get any workouts in with the exception of yesterday.

We had a 5k at work in the morning and I participated. I walked it and I haven't seen my official time but I think it was around 42 min. I don't think that is to bad for a walker. My body feels it today though. Walking on the treadmill is easier on me because it has some flex in it and the pavement doesn't so I feel it in my feet today.

I am not planning on overtime this coming week, last week was because of the Department meeting and everyone gets there stuff to me for the PowerPoint at the last minute and then there was a budget & enrollment meeting and spreadsheets to have ready for that.....then there is just the daily work...so crazy busy last week.

Today I have a hair appointment at 9:30 a.m., then niece B has the first gymnastic meet of the season today in Dayton, OH. That will take pretty much of the day.

I'm going to post this and then do personals.

Time for personals,

Annie: You have been a busy lady with all the family fun stuff and work and your meetings and therapy. You have stayed true to you Keto plan too....a lot going on with you lady and you are handling it well. I am proud of you.

I thought the idea of you and C going away sometime is a good one. I would advise if you do, that you don't talk about the past but rather the present and the future, be forward looking and also just enjoy the time together.

I do want to comment on the statement you posted about how it bothers you that he told you he loved you and he told her that too. I understand that. We were married 3 yrs when my DH lost his mind (that is what I call it because really...what could he had been thinking), and we went through the same thing you are going with now.

In our counseling, I finally was able to tell him, without anger or bitterness, how much that hurt me and I didn't feel I deserved it at all and then I told him that I still loved him (because I did) however, he would never have that chance to do that to me again because if he did, I would walk away and I would do it without malice because he wouldn't be worth the effort or the feeling to me anymore.

I didn't tell him that until we had been in counseling for about 6 months as it took me that long to build myself stronger so that I could love him again without thinking of the pain he caused me.

He told me years ago that was when he finally understood how what he had done really impacted me and it scared him a bit that I could say those things to him in such a "matter of fact" manner. He said he realized I had healed and was stronger and I would never again be a victim. I think at that point he respected me and it was something he hadn't really done until then. See if he respected me then he wouldn't have done what he had done and he knew then that it wasn't about earning back my love but rather my respect.

Men put respect as a very important thing to them; women put love. It helped me heal and to go on. I wasn't going to allow it to rule my thoughts, times, emotions anymore.

Therapy and counseling take time that is for sure.

Your nephew had some great pictures of Fiona. I hope they enjoyed the zoo. It was such a happy day for me!

Laura: I hope you are now on your way to full recovery from that nasty cold you had. Have fun buying new makeup. It was a good idea to through the other out.

You asked about my home projects. We are having the new storm door installed this Friday along repainting of the existing entry door.

We have chosen a color that is a cranberry. They will repaint the outside that color and the inside a candlelight white. Our storm door is all glass and the color of the frame is a brownish black that will pull the black shutters and the black roofing together and that brown/ tan brick. I think it will all look very nice. I will have to take before and after pictures.

As for the chimney repair the metal cover is being fabricated and they expect to take care of putting that on and tuck pointing the chimney and running the gas line and such to the existing fireplace and installing my insert in a couple of week.

Happy: You are a good daughter....you put a lot of thought and time into what to give to your mom to make her happy. I think really what she wants is to know that you listen to her and think about her...she seems to want that same thing from everyone. You are doing a great job of it.

Ceejay: I saw your FB picture with your new hair color, it looks really nice.

Shad: I hope & believe that all the upcoming medical appointments will be good news.

Hi to Dee!

I'm now running late and must move along so I can get to my hair appointment.

I will be around more this week!

Good morning ladies,

I'm supposed to go to a beginning crochet class this morning but it's cold and gray and snowy out and I'd rather just sit here in my fleece drinking tea! Not sure how much they will teach us in 2 hours - especially like me if you don't know ANYTHING about crocheting. And I am left handed to boot. A friend said to watch in a mirror which I thought was handy advice.

I saw my x-rays online and translated the medical terms (thanks Google) into English. No fracture. I am flat footed and have bone spurs on my heels. Found some stretches online I will incorporate into the day. My apologies to the nurse practitioner at the immediate care who said the exact same thing and I didn't believe her. However because I did have an xray and was able to look up bone spurs, I would have otherwise never believed that exercise (outside of surgery) was an effective treatment for bone spurs.

We stayed in yesterday and I made a pot of chicken tortilla soup to use up a rotisserie chicken I had - also seemed like soup was a good option for the day. We had big giant snowflakes yesterday. It took a while for them to stick to the ground but apparently it got cold enough overnight that the light snowfall has covered everything. We got about 2 inches of snow altogether. We saw Chuckie the buck make an appearance yesterday. That means so far he has managed to survive hunting season. He is very alert and smart. He knows the Elmer Fudds are after him.

Talked to Sis yesterday - she enjoyed the tea I sent her and wished her a happy wedding anniversary. She said it seems like yesterday instead of 27 years. I said well we are not rocking that big hair thing she was so good at I also talked to my Mom and apologized that her birthday cards and presents will not arrive until Monday. She is 91 today - I thought she was 93

I liked the comment about "not watering dead flowers" - good advice. Also Susie thank you for sharing your experience with your husband as well as the comment about men and respect vs women and love - that is very eye opening. A simple concept but one that can be lost at times. I am glad you were able to work through things together. Yay for you for doing the 5K - that is awesome!!! And you had a great time at 42 minutes too - you must have been pumping knees to chest!!!! Have fun on your busy day today.

Laura - that was smart of you to discard your makeup. Not worth the chance of reinfection at all. Your food porn had me jonesing for some Greek food Too bad our Greek diner doesn't offer that stuff. I hope you come up with a yummy soup for the weekend. Homemade stuff is so much better than canned and you get alot more of it.

Ceejay - love the new haircolor. It looks great with the cut and shaves a bunch of years off. Hope you like it too. How did your chili come out?

Annie - I guess you did a refinance of C's house? Nice to have some pocket money to catch up on things. At first I thought you sold it. Managing 2 houses is a burden. I hope he is still not being used by his ungrateful children. How did your night out go? I am grateful that in this land of Friday fish frys they always offer a baked or broiled option because I am not big on the fried stuff at all. Fried shrimp occasionally but not batter fried fish. Thanks for the prayers for the foot - it is feeling a tiny bit better but I have been staying off of it for most of the week and I am done with that. I have to get up and move and do some cooking and cleaning things already. We will see what the doctor says on Monday. Sorry your foot is bothering you too.

Hello to Shad and Dee

I should jump in the shower and get ready and I have to go through my closet and find my crochet hooks and some yarn for class. I also want to take a thermos of hot tea with me - the class room can be chilly in the winter.

Hope you all have a nice weekend.

It was 28 degrees when I rolled out of bed this morning at 8.30. And there was frost. What happened to Fall?
Nephew came by to work on the toilet that wasn't working properly. He had seen the article about the use of vinegar in the tank so he tried that. It did have some calcium deposits on the mechanisms. I think it's good to go.
My chili was good howbeit a bit spicy so I've doctored it a bit and now it's not so spicy.
I had sent a text to my friend in Little Rock, AR yesterday and she suggested that I use the picture for my FB profile picture. I couldn't believe all the responses that I received.

Happy
Don't blame you for staying inside today. I do like my hair. The lady who did my hair tried to match it with the hair on my head. She said I had some highlight of gray in the back but the only gray I had was right around my temples. I like it because my hair is all the same color. Speaking of crochet the ladies group mention that we do something with our hand such as sew or crochet. Think I'll get some yarn and try my hand at crocheting. Mom did teach me the single stitch. I am glad that you have answers about your foot. Our feet can be painful. I'm really dreading the bunionectomy and have put it off since I've been here. I have not been keeping up with my therapy and it's getting out of hand again. So I'll start back.

Susie
I think you will like the cranberry color. Sis is wanting to repaint the doors at her house and my house. I thought about blue but the cranberry would be pretty here. I want a new aluminum door that is a single pane.

Shad
Where are you?

Laura
Are you feeling normal again? Rest while you are off from work this week end.

It's cold this morning at 28 degrees. And their was a frost.

Morning all,
Another weekend goes by and we are back to Monday again. It's humid and overcast here today and we have been having a series of storms blowing through. Lots of noise and thunder as the rain and weather gods decide to duke it out over head.

I've spent time in the garden, time preparing the house for a paint job and sanding and sweating. My neighbour has taken up some of my time and the family likewise. Today I am lunching with some friends and that will take up another 4 hours of my day. Ruger the dog is here again. Whether he will be here for the rest of the week remains to be seen since DS2 informs me that his workforce may be going on strike. I doubt that he wants that since he needs the money and it won't happen if he is on strike.

Other than that, not much news. New Zealand has a new Prime Minister. A female one at that. We've had 3 female PM's now and the country has done reasonably well under them. This one is quite young and seems to have some interesting ideas. I shall watch from a distance and get the gen from the family over there.

I better get this dog out for his walk before it rains again. Love this rainy season, but it brings out all the bugs in creation and I spend a fortune on bug sprays. I'll be back for personals, maybe on the train into town or maybe tonight.

Good morning! Chilly here this morning but dry so not feeling to cold.

I have discovered all my coats are huge on me. So, I will be looking for a new coat. More shopping!

We had a nice weekend but very busy.

Happy: Did you make it to your class? I am left handed as well and I would love to learn to crochet. I would love to make dish cloths. I love when I find them at Holday Bazaars. They are so nice to use and dont sour like store bought ones do. I am constantly wiping off things in the kitchen.

It is good that you found out what is really going on with your foot. I have found that execise helps everything. Let us know how the exercises work for your foot problem.

Glaf to hear the deer buck is avoiding the hunters.

Ceejay: how nice that your nephew came by and fixed the toliet and it seemed to be a easy fix. What a blessing it is to you to have him come do these things for you.

Helli to the rest of the Wordlies. I will come back and read and repost more later.

Here it is Monday again....and away we go!

SUSIE...glad you held your own at TOPS. That in itself is hard to hold with all the obstacles that get in the way. Like work. Fun, shopping for a new coat. That is rewarding. I wouldn't put a lot of $$ into it as you most certainly will need another once you reach goal. Just a thought. Thanks for your input on marriage. Dealing with his bi-polar puts a bit of a spin on it and hard to deal with both. I just keep praying for the best outcome for me (us) and hurry up and let his will be done. lol. The dishcloths you see at holiday bazaars are usually knitted, not crocheted.

HAPPY...Soup does sound good this time of year as does chili. We just finished off the last bit of chili the end of last week. C refinanced his house not sold. Eventually we would like to sell both of our places and get something else. If it all works out. We have talked about that off and on over the years. Can you get surgery on bone spurs? Hope you are getting some relief. Friday night out was fun. Most all the restaurant's food was breaded. I had greenbeans, coleslaw and boiled cabbage. Now you know what my Saturday was about...omgosh.

I will come back in a bit to finish personals. Fires oh the fires to be put out.

Ok back.

CEEG...glad the nephew got the toitie fixed. mmmm spicy chili. Right up my alley.

LAURA...glad you are feeling better but need to get to 100%. How is the admin doing since she came back from leave? C refinanced his house.

SHADDIE...How is Ruger enjoying time at Nanna's house. lol. How close are the reno's to being completed. You have rain and humidity, we are having cold, wind and almost rain/snow. bleh. Why oh why do I live in this cold state?

*****************

Samantha and I did not get to eat our greek lunch. The place we had in mind had a sign on it "closed permanently". We just looked at each other and laughed. That is how our luck runs. I don't even remember where we went after that. Guess nothing too impressive. We did some grocery shopping and as per our usual got home and started our next list of items we need at the grocery. Bah.

Yesterday was mostly errands. Sam and I did go to Waffle House for lunch. Chris had the boys. Curtis went fishing with his brother.

Thursday evening Sam and I may go play bingo with my SIL. If you win the bingo you win a Coach purse. Cost 25$ to play.

Not much else going on.

Make it a great day/night. Hugs

Good morning ladies,

Snow is with us for good. I guess we are having an early intro to winter. It's still hovering just at the freezing mark. We have to get our furnace looked at - it's not working right - won't come up to temperature. Except at night when we want it to get cooler - then it finally gets warm in the house. We had someone come out a few weeks ago but they said it was running fine - of course they came when we were getting our last burst of really warm weather so of course it isn't working right.

DH dragged me to the casino on Saturday. They were having drawings between 6pm and 9pm for cash prizes. I had 244 tickets for the drawing. I don't like going on Friday and Saturday - lots of people smoking and the machines are "tight" - hard to win. But he said with that many tickets we should go. I didn't want to go on Friday because they were having some sort of beer fest and were having a Halloween party too. So we went on Saturday. They started the drawings at 6pm - from 6 to 9. I spent my allotment of cash and was sort of mad - I didn't want to come. We went to the buffet after the 7pm drawing and had a really nice meal of prime rib - the veggies, everything was really good that night. I was lingering at dinner - trying to kill some time. We finished right before 8pm. As I was leaving and pushing my chair back I saw a penny on the floor. I always consider them my good luck "angels" so I put it in my pocket. I took twenty dollars out of my purse to play and managed to make that last with occasional wins for almost an hour. I met up with DH right before 9 for the last drawing of the night. By then I was tired of being there and told him that I might as well have thrown my money on the floor for someone else to pick up He said "you're going to win". We were across from the party club desk where they draw the winning name. We were checking the number of tickets we had for the drawing at the kiosk. I said oh boy I have 244 tickets in the bin and I STILL can't win anything. I looked up at the top of the kiosk - they have a screen with the winners name - you have 5 minutes to get to the desk and show your id and party club card. Lo and behold - MY NAME is on the screen!!!!! I won $1,000 in cash. I immediately gave DH half of it because when he wins he gives me money although I don't think he's ever split quite that much. So it was a good night after all.

Susie - after a 75 pound loss I can imagine your coats are huge. Isn't it hard to believe that they once fit. What a great feeling. Have fun coat shopping! It was difficult with the crocheting although the teacher was really nice. They tripped her up and put 11 people into the class she wanted only 6 in so she could not give much individual attention as she wanted to. I was the only left hander in class. It was difficult - I don't think crocheting is for me or I'll have to find a left handed person to teach me. It's like dancing - there are some things my brain won't / can't learn. I too love the washcloths - I think they make a special cotton yarn just for them that holds up better and cleans better than acrylic yarn. I can do a basic knit stitch - can probably manage to make those squares. I think the cranberry is going to be a lovely color for the house. I have always like red/red-ish trim on a house.

Shad - I know that you staying in Australia because of more work availability than NZ but now that you are retired, will you stay put? Or does the pension also limit you? I imagine NZ might be a pricy place to live too. Sounds like you have many projects lined up for the next few months.

Annie - would you stay where you are or look for some place warmer? I am much happier being away from the hustle of the city life although it's creeping in here when the nearby folks come here with their distracted driving and bad habits and such.

Ceejay - I agree that it's very handy that your nephew is around to help with fix it projects around the house. It's a pain waiting on service people and they don't always do the best job. The bunionectomy is painful - any time they cut the bone it's more painful than soft tissue surgery and it takes a while to recover. Not something that you go into lightly but once it's done it's over with. Like anything, you have to decide when it's as bad as you will let it get. The hair dresser did a wonderful job on you - your new look is very flattering.

Laura - are you feeling back to yourself by now? Get some rest over the weekend? Is it getting cold by you? How are the tree colors - I always loved the glowing yellow of the maples in the forest area. My sister was at Woodfield - went to dinner at Wildfire for their anniversary on Friday. She said I would not recognize my old homestead any more. LOTS of new construction around the area. I haven't been up that way since we moved in 2004.

I see the foot doctor at 2pm today. Going to insist that he give me something to accelerate reducing this pain and swelling as I am being good on doing everything I have been told to do and while it's a tiny bit better, I can't realistically spend 2 or 3 more weeks off my feel most of the time like last week. And I never got the arch supports they were supposed to send out. I also got a letter on Saturday with paperwork I needed to sign and I BETTER SEND IT BACK in 5 business days or less or I'm on the hook for the charges. Well DUH - I think that's ON your office staff who should have given this to me WHEN I CHECKED IN. No one is responsible for anything any more.

Anyway - have a good start to the week. Stay warm! Or dry!

Morning all.

Susie – It's awesome that you’re managing to maintain while work keeps you so busy. Yikes, that was a lot of OT last week!! I hope you don’t do any this week. == Great job on the 5k. Yeh, there is such a difference between treadmill walking, indoor track walking, and outdoor walking. == I ended up having a hair appointment on Saturday too – how the weeks fly by and suddenly it’s time again. == I agree with your comments about respect – doesn’t necessarily go hand in hand with love, though you’d think it would! == Cranberry is a pretty color, I bet it’ll look nice on your door. == Enjoy coat shopping. (I bet the OT pay will come in handy for that!) I agree with Annie – don’t spend much. By next year you’ll likely need a new one that’s smaller. == Re the crocheted dish clothes – I imagine those are made with cotton yarns? I’ve actually never seen them.

Happy – How was the crochet class? I bought yarn and needles several years ago and never did much with it. == So there are at least three of us who are lefties here – you, me and Susie. Anyone else?? == I’m glad you know what’s wrong with your foot. And I’m glad it’s not a fracture. I hope the exercises can help you!!!

Ceejay – How much vinegar was used in the toilet tank? That’s great it seemed to do the trick. == I’m glad you like your hair. I think color close to your natural color is best, but the admin doesn’t care for her natural color at all, so she likes to get highlights. If I didn’t have gray I wouldn’t be coloring at all! == I have a feeling I may end up someday getting surgery on the bunion on my right foot… whenever I happen to walk around in shoes without adequate support, the bunion gives me problems. == I’m definitely feeling better, but still dealing with a cough. I have some mucinex with me today and might try that to deal with the post-nasal drip and the resulting coughing.

Shad – I hope ds2’s employer doesn’t strike, and if it happens that it isn’t for long! == Enjoy your lunch out with friends. == I don’t pay much attention to politics because it can be maddening, but I do wonder how things would be here if the other candidate (a woman) had won the presidency. Probably just as much controversy going on, but of a different type…

Annie – Yeh, I’d like to be feeling 100%, but the coughing always seems to go on for weeks after the other symptoms have gone. That’s just the way it is. == The admin is doing pretty well with her new kidney. She’s on several drugs and some have bad side effects – hair loss, the shakes, hunger. She hopes to get on oral insulin since the injections are a bear for her. Someday…. Guess you didn’t miss much with the Greek food at that place. When my mom and dad were in MO she said that there were always new places to try, but often they would close before they had the opportunity to try them. Then again, they didn’t go out to eat all that much anyway.

Hello to Dee!

==

Uneventful weekend. I had a hair appointment on Saturday morning. Went and gassed up the car before the appointment. Afterwards went to the thrift shop and bought a book and that was about it.

Sunday the sun was shining and I got out in the yard and removed the veg garden and cut down all the perennials in the hodge-podge flower bed next to the veg patch. I still have to cut back other perennials in the other flower beds in back, so hopefully the weather next weekend will be nice enough to do some more.

I never did get around to shopping for new makeup. It’s scary that I’m getting used to walking around wearing barely any makeup.

Our annual fundraising activities are going on right now. The theme is music, and our floor’s room party theme is the 80’s. I brought in a concert t-shirt (The Cars) and a few cassettes from that era (The Cars, Bryan Adams, B-52's) and might bring in a few album covers tomorrow. They are using this stuff as decorations. Other than that, I’m not all that interested in participating in the activities. I’m more interested in finding some good charities that will aid the hurricane victims, as well as helping out our local food pantry.

Oh that reminds me, I think I mentioned a while back that bf submitted a few photos of Coal for possible inclusion in the lab rescue organization’s annual calendar. A few weeks ago they responded that he will be included in the calendar!! Of course, we’ve pre-ordered a bunch of the calendars, lol.

Okay, enough rambling. I’ll get this posted and get on with the day.

Posting from my new tablet. Went to my ISP Saturday to complain about the service slowing down after the allotment on my jet pack was reached. I have unlimited minutes since the boys watch a lot on Netflix when they are here. I wanted something with more data. I ended up getting a new tablet. I would like to buy out that contract. It has 4gb but slows down to 3. My new tablet has unlimited on it which does not make sense.
I woke up with a plan this morning and all was going well until I saw the left over donuts I bought yesterday. They are gone and I will not buy any more this week.
Went to the gym and rode the bike for 30 minutes and walked for 15. Going to try to build up my walking time.

Wow on the money you won. And generous of you to give DH half. Christmas shopping is upon us. Thank you for the compliment on my new color. I did this on a whim but glad I did. Believe me foot pain can be the worst. However, hip pain is number one in my book.

Yes it is nice to have nephew around. I don't see the bottle of vinegar but I'm thinking.
It was a 64 oz bottle. He used half in each toilet to clean the mechanisms along with an old tooth brush. Their was calicium deposits on it.

I'll come back to see what the others have posted.

Happy Halloween!!

Morning all. Cold and windy today. The bike ride to the train station was not fun. Thank goodness it’s short!

Happy - You were typing over my head yesterday. == Oh dear, not a good time for furnace problems. Reminds me, we haven’t had our furnace checkup. Time just flies. Seems like yesterday we had our A/C checkup. == Woohoo on the big win! Nice of you to split your winnings – after all, dh did drag you to the casino… Any special plans for your winnings?? == Re the fall color – the trees are finally changing. Some are gorgeous, but the timing is off and it seems like the beautiful maple yellow and orange seem to finish first. == How did your foot dr appointment go yesterday? Did you get the shot?? Sure hope so – knock out the pain and just get some relief and get around more easily again.

Ceejay – New tablet, nice. Hope the speed is better. == God job on the exercise! == Maybe I’ll pour a big bottle of vinegar in the old toilet in our half bath. I already use vinegar in the kitchen to get rid of mineral deposits around the sink, dish drainer tray, and the fridge’s water/ice dispenser.

Hellos to the rest of you! Hope you all have a good day.

Nothing much to report.

We never got our lighted jack-o-lantern out of the attic to put in front of the house. And we haven’t bought any candy. Guess we just aren’t in the spirit this year. We’ll see if bf makes a last minute run to the store for some candy for the trick-or-treaters.

I didn’t get around to picking out a few album covers to bring to work for the party decorations, but I have a couple more days to do that.

I’ll get this posted and check back later.
