About to run out and get my hair done. Hubbub of activity here - deliveries, men working on door, men working on HOT TUB (yeah baby - guess who's going to be a hot and happy girl come Friday)
I will be back in the afternoon. |
Laura
That's one thing I can't stand is the sewer truck. I have had to call it a couple of times when I lived in Arkansas. What's really bad is when the do they clean out from your house to the street. The smell comes back into the house. ugh. Hopefully you can get your mom in her new location before Thanksgiving. Happy Sorry you are not feeling well. Hope it will pass soon. You have been on the go a lot since your surgery. It's time to slow down, even for one day. At least I don't have to deal with all the financial dealing with the house. That's my sister's problem. My renter's insurance is basically paying for their deductible and moving of my furniture. They put the fans down Friday and he said yesterday maybe Wednesday. I must have really flooded this place. Shad I will be in you boat soon with medical stuff as soon as I can find a doctor, a podiatrist, a dentist and a gyn. I saw some by the Insurance office the other day so I will have to find out if they are in my group. -------- Wish I knew what is going on with the floors. I'm running out of clean clothes. It took me a hour to cut the grass yesterday in the back yard. I used my electric mower. It's smaller. My hips are a bit sore this morning but not bad. My other ailment seems to be clearing up on its own. |
Hello sisters  I'm happy I found you'all  I'll come back tonight to do personals & also about me :(
A month ago Dh decided to wait until May to sell our home, to give us more houses to visit to buy. Our local food bank has phoned us 2x this month already for our annual venison donation for hungry families. Dh has been bow hunting, but has only saw button bucks & our respect for nature won't let us harvest a young animal or young fish. So the food bank families will have to be patient with him. It's nice to be back :smug: again with you'all :smug: |
Morning all. I survived my five minutes standing across the street from the sewage truck until the train came. And I don’t think any of the stink came with me, LOL.
Annie – Dinner sounded delish. Sorry that ankle pain got you up during the night. Is it just being on it more because of being back at work? I think you just need to roll around in your chair at the office, LOL. Just don’t use that foot to propel yourself around. :D == I don’t mind the statue all that much, plus it’ll be nice for my mom to at least be able to see it in our yard when she visits. ==Yep, we have to use any vacation days that we carry over by the end of the first calendar quarter of the following year. Shad – Hang in there with all this medical stuff! == Your neighbor’s fall sounds awful. Poor thing. == Yes, I agree with Happy that you seem to be the best candidate for the commune’s veg garden. :broc: Funny story with ODDU and the cheese! == My mom doesn’t have a lot of collections or valuables, just a lot of stuff she likes that she accumulated. She will of course feel bad that she won’t have room or storage space to just have it sitting in a drawer or closet, or that nobody in the family wants it. I might, however, soften my stance on some more items just to make her feel like everything isn’t being placed in the donate pile. On the other hand, not so much that it’s going to substantially increase her tab with the movers! Happy – Sorry you weren’t feeling like being or doing anything yesterday, but it’s smart you took the day off from your activities to kick back and give the knee a rest. That’s part of recovery – good days and not so good ones. I hope your sleep schedule can get back to something more normal – it sure would help with your recovery. === Re my mom’s move – no, it’s not dependent on the sale of her house, thank goodness. She wants to be moved before the winter weather starts, so that’s why we’re shooting for early November. === You’ve had a couple unfortunate office moves – especially the one that forced you to quit that job! Woodstock, yikes that’s far! The offices of my employer have been at Riverside plaza (the river between Monroe/Adams - before my time), then at Canal & Monroe, and now at Franklin & Adams, so it’s been a very tight radius centered around the Metra stations. Never say never, but I’m pretty comfortable that they won’t move us someplace inconvenient… It’s more likely that I’ll be the one who one day says, “I’m sick of taking the train downtown, I’m gonna find a job a short drive from the house.” And that would go along with eventually moving into something that may not be financially rewarding, but will be something new and enjoyable for me. == Re space in the house – ours also is just fine for two people (IMO, not bf’s!) but it’s not good for entertaining more than a few people at a time. Fine by me! LOL re having the cat everyone was allergic to and not having to host. :D Our situation was slightly similar – bf’s aunt is very afraid of dogs, so we didn’t host anything for his side of the family for many years. It might be nice to have bf’s mom and aunt over for dinner sometime soon. === Yay for you being able to get back in the hot tub!! Ceejay – Like you, my mom’s going to have to find all new doctors when she moves. I think the senior community she’ll be living in has a medical facility where she might find some doctors, but she’s also very close to a good hospital, so I don’t foresee a problem finding some she likes nearby. Gosh, you might have to shop for some new clothes if you run out out of clean ones, LOL. – Great exercise for you mowing the lawn! And I suppose you’ll have some leaf-raking soon… You’ll probably be happy to kick back and relax when winter comes and there’s nothing to be done outside. :D Hellos to Dee and Susie. == I was ticked off last night about the !@#$%^ vacation planning. BF and I held off on booking any Key West lodging because my friend D, who is job hunting, wasn’t sure if she could negotiate 2 weeks off with a new employer and might not do the Keys part of the trip. She was hoping for an offer last week from one prospect after doing multiple interviews. As of last week, she was still waiting. Well last night she texts and asks if we booked anything in KW yet. I replied that we would wait until we know what she was doing. She then texts back that she hadn’t heard anything about the job and that she and her sister booked a hotel already. I really thought it was so crummy of her not to tell us before she did it. In reality, she and her sister ended up booking a place that’s 5 miles away from the heart of KW and was of no interest to bf and I, so I knew we’d end up at separate places, but still…she couldn’t tell us beforehand out of common courtesy?? The only issue is them being miles away with the rental car. But since bf and I plan to book somewhere within walking distance of the heart of KW and it’s just for 2 days, I don’t care about not having a car. Sorry for the rant, but D and her sister have just been so rabid about planning this vacation crap, it’s taken the enjoyment out of it for me. On the other hand, it kind of highlights how unhappy they both seem to be about their lives that all they have to look forward to is this vacation. That makes me sad for them. Sigh. Ok, rambled enough time to post. |
Hello!
Days just seem to fly by me. There is always something to do, it seems. If it isn't work, then it is things at home. I keep thinking I will get caught up and never do. Monday, I picked up the new Nicholas Spark book that the library had on hold for me and spent a lot of last night reading. It felt good to just sit and relax. I put in both applications at work for two different EA roles. This would be a promotion for me if I get one of them. I'm a Senior Admin so EA is my next step. I know one of the VP's is traveling this week and next so I expect I won't hear anything about that one until she returns. Someone (I think Laura?) asked why I wanted to move to another location/building; as one of the roles is in the building I am currently in (we will call that the Sharon Woods Building and the other (we will call that the Mason building) is about 15 miles from my current building. (Sharon Woods) In late 2017/early 2018 we all will be moving to the other building that is 15 miles where I am now. That building (Mason building) is closer for me in my commute so I can't wait to get there. It will give me time and miles back on my commute and all the traffic backup starts right after the exit where the Mason building is. So I won't have to deal with sitting in traffic for the last 30 min of my daily commute. Ceejay: I hope you get back into your home soon. It will be nice having new flooring and things--sort of like you got to remodel. Please be careful with that diverticulitis; I hope you get to see the doctor son. Shad: You are rounding the corner and heading for home (as they say in baseball here in the USA) with all the medical things. Hang in there. I loved the ODDU cheese story! It made me LOL. Happy: Looking forward to the hot tub I see! Annie: I bet your soon looked very handsome in his new clothes. I think you said next week you get to see if the boot comes off? Laura: When I was reading about the friends who went ahead and booked and gave no thought to the fact that you were putting your own booking off and waiting for them, it made me mad! I had some friends, notice the word "had", that we used to deal with them and things like that all the time. They are still friends of ours, however, we don't do much with them anymore. I got tired of being treated like that. I hope you can get your mom moved by Thanksgiving. It sounds like she is going to a Retirement community sort of place? DH & I plan to do the same thing when I'm around 60 and he is 70. We have no children to look after us and we want to be close to medical care and such. Dee: Good to see you pop in and looking forward to seeing you post again soon and catch up with you. I got to get a move on. I'm working from home today as I have some people coming to give me estimates about removing a dead tree that we have...I hate spending $$$ on things like that...I'd rather buy shoes!! lol |
Hey Ladies...
Today is actually Jacob's 5th birthday!! That 5 years went fast. Kindergarten next year! I was so exhausted last night. Tiny bit of dinner then went to bed at 7, laid there and watched TV till 8:30...OUT. Went to the couch at midnight, up at 5. Yeee. SUSIE...best of luck with the upcoming job apps. Fingers crossed. Soon you can support all of here. :) Nice to just relax with a book for an evening, we all need that now and again. LAURA...probably be glad once momma is all moved and the tracking and hauling is over. Vacationing with friends and even family can be a real struggle. I say just do what you wanna do, heck go to a different city. lol. DEE...do come back and update us on you! Hope you are feeling well. CEEG...hope the clothes get clean and you are back in the house in no time. HAPPY...ahhhh, finally the hot tub??? Maybe? Hello to all Hugs |
I'm still living in my house but will have to leave tomorrow as they will start to tear up the floor and put down the new. Can't wait for this to be done.
------ Laura That was a crummy thing for your friend to do about the vacation planning. I'm glad that your mom will have doctor's close by. I hand washed some things so I wouldn't have to go to the Laundromat. And I will take a load of clothes with me to Branson tomorrow. Happy I know you are anxious about getting in the hot tub. Dee Glad you found us once again. Shad Keep us informed. |
Thursday, hmmm, one more day!
We took the boys to Chuckie Cheese yesterday. What a kid chaos! We all had a really good time...haha, at least the kids did. I mostly remained in the booth keeping a watch over the purses and prizes. Kid's dad picked them up at 6:30, and now they are gone for 5 days. I can't stand it. He is taking them on vacation with him to visit friends in NC.. Prayers for safe travels. Sam colored my hair last night. We had been putting off since Sunday. Glad that is finally done. I have a hair cut appointment on Friday. Sam is taking Saddy to the vet for me for her yearly check up and shots. Kind of nice I don't have to take time off work to do that, altho I really like being there. CEEG...where are you going while the floor is being done? Is it an overnight thing? To your sister's house? Hello to the rest of you fine ladies. Hugs |
Good morning kids,
Busy day the last 2 days. Started a post twice and got distracted. Got my hair done - a bit more layers than last time's bob. Looks cute. Found out my stylist is preggers (due the day after my birthday). This will be interesting as I have switched to her from the salon owner. I hope S does not leave completely - don't think she will as she is not married. It would be awkward to go back to the other stylist again. First world problems, eh? I stopped at the Thrift shop - got to see a bunch of people I haven't seen in a while. That was good. Had coffee with a friend of mine - we've been trying to get together for 3 months now. I stopped back at the shop to place an order for supplies and it appears the hard drive crashed on the computer. It was old - not worth repairing. I hope there wasn't anything of importance on there as I'm not sure we can recover the drive. There are a million hands reaching out for all sorts of help. I can't wait until the coordinator is back from his trip although I hope he is having a good vacation. It was a total zoo at the house this morning. Sears guy came to repair the washer and do maintenance on the dryer. A very polite, sweet man who had the most awesome eyes and curly hair. He looked like (pictures of) Jesus, I swear. How weird if Jesus came back for the second coming as a Sears appliance repair guy :chin: Then the man came out to repair the malfunctioning blinds in the front door and finish off the screw holes they didn't seal properly. He is a very nice guy, but chatty and I was quite tired - bad night again - I would have loved to take a nap before therapy but it didn't happen. We have a window with a broken seal, repair guy is coming for that and we have 4 guys working on the siding. Almost no room to park here at the house! I skipped out on therapy on Monday - felt like I was coming down with something but that passed so I can't skip today. Yesterday I stopped in town and got 2 pairs of gloves - one with the Packers logo and one for the Bears (football teams Shad). Big, long time rivalry. I am going to donate the gloves for our 50/50 bingo raffle hoping to generate a bit more cash for the pot. I also wanted to make some simple butter cookies (if I can find my recipe) and decorate them with both teams' colors to bring to bingo just for fun. Now I just need to get the energy to make the cookies - fortunately they are simple and it takes no effort to sprinkle colored sugar on them in case I don't feel like using the decorating gel to make the G and C for the team logos. DH washed the filters for the hot tub and got the stuff we needed to refill it (you have to change some things and add starter chemicals when you first do a fill / drain refill). We are on track to have 'er ready to jump into tomorrow :D Can't wait. I called the doctor yesterday and left a message after therapy. I don't understand why I am having so much continuous pain. Everything is going well physically but my pain is just as intense as it was 4 weeks ago. I hate these pain pills that barely make a dent in the pain but give me other issues. Yet I have to take something or it's unbearable. We'll see what they say IF they call me back. I know this is going to happen the minute I go into the shower. :dizzy: My sister is spending the night at my Mom's - taking her shopping and to the doctor and to visit my cousin who is ill. Sis texted me this morning that Mom opened the bathroom door and did a full frontal nude on her - ACK MY EYES !!!!! She said what happened to the lady who was so modest??? She is also thrilled that she is getting birthday cards in the mail - thank you Annie - she said such a sweet card and you have BEAUTIFUL handwriting :write: See - she appreciates things like that! Annie - I know Chuckie is fun but isn't that just a germ factory???? :yikes: I suppose it's a treat for the boys though. Sounds like you still need some rest and healing time. How are you doing with the boot and your back? It's not your driving foot, is it? I'm glad they missed you at work. That's important! Ceejay - here's to hoping your home repairs go faster than mine :D  I'll bet you can't wait to get all settled in again. Susie - I hope, hope, hope :crossed: :crossed: :crossed: that you get selected for both interviews and that things go well for you. You certainly have alot of experience to back you up. That's great that you took some "me" time to relax and read. I hope the tree removal estimate wasn't too awful. Laura - that kind of sucks that those people went and sheduled a room on their own. This is starting to sound more like a hassle than it's worth. I hope the trip itself will be fun and worth it! Good thinking on putting the statue in your yard - I'm sure it will make your Mom very happy and she can "visit" it from time to time :D Have you started raking leaves yet? My neighbor thought I was nuts - I only had juniper trees on my property and each fall I would offer to rake her leaves so that I had a mulch bed for my flowers - LOL then we moved to Tennessee and were knee deep in the stuff. Now I just have pine needles so I have to buy hay to cover the garden - which I didn't do yet. :^: Maybe I should get you up here  Hello Dee - good to hear from you. Well... as long as I'm waiting here I might as well make those cookies as they won't make themselves and I don't want to waste the blue and orange and green and yellow sprinkles I bought. I am also going to try using one of the duck eggs I bought - they have more yolk to white and are supposed to make baked goods extra fluffy. Will let you know how it goes. Have a good day everyone. |
Morning all. I had my podiatrist follow-up appointment yesterday morning and worked from home after that. It was a mixed success.
My foot doc appointment was basically an easy money grab for the doc because the topic was how to prevent the pain and the shots in the future. The answers were 1. Wear the custom orthotics which I already have, which I do. 2. Wear shoes with low heels, vs. completely flat. 3. Stretch my calves. And that was it. Five minutes for him, about 20 for me, because it would be some kind of sin for me to be able to go into that office and be seen at my appointment time or within 5 minutes of it. The work part was just okay – IT got snippy with me when I called for assistance with my remote connection. Then at one point, my connection was slow as molasses. Good thing that didn’t last too long. Other than work, in the late afternoon, I met with a seller from one of the fb garage sale sites I follow – I bought a pampered chef brand apple peeler/slicer/corer crank thingies that clamps onto a table. After that was an early dinner out and a stop at the mattress store to check into a replacement for our daybed mattress. Well, it’s really for the trundle underneath, so we have to make sure we don’t buy a mattress that’s too thick and won’t allow the trundle to fit under the daybed! Then we watched most of the presidential debate and occasionally flipped over to check on the ball game. Today’s not starting out that great. One department member is continuing to behave in a way that makes us want to work *around* her instead of *with* her. That’s it for me. Now for personals. -- Dee – Somehow I missed your post the other day. Good to have you back! So you’ve gotten a reprieve on moving until next spring. :) I don’t suppose either of you are too sad about that since you’ve often said how much you love your current home. Susie – There’s always something to keep us busy, if we choose to do it. Me, I lean towards “me time” since stuff like housework will always be waiting for me. I hope you enjoy your book. I’m reading a John Grisham novel at the moment. It’s been a long time since I’ve read one of his novels and I’m enjoying it. Good luck to you with those EA positions you applied for. Either group would be extremely fortunate to have a hard worker like you!! It would be nice to end up in the location that gives you a shorter commute!! ==Re taking trips with friends, I certainly won’t be doing any elaborate travel plans ever again with my friend and her sister. Live and learn. === Hope the tree removal estimate was reasonable! Annie – Cute pic of J on fb. Five – boy that went quickly!! Yikes, Chuckie Cheese! I’m sure the kids enjoyed the chaos. You were smart to stay put!!! Safe travel wishes to the boys and their dad. I hope they enjoy their trip. Nice of dd to take Sass to the vet. How’s Sassy doing these days?? Ceejay – Hang in there and you will be rewarded with nice new floors!! Happy – Busy as ever! I don’t know how long your stylist will be out with her pregnancy, but if it were me I’d wait for her return vs going back to your old stylist.===Lol re the appliance repair man. And you know, Sears really needs help right now, so why not from a higher power?? === Cute ideas for bingo! I think you need to post photos of the decorated cookies! === Wonder what the PT folks will say about your continuing pain. It should be easing up by now!!! Maybe the hot tub will be the answer (your incision is fully healed by now, right?). == Wow, your sister is a good woman. That's all. === The leaves are coming down now around here, so raking is definitely in our future. In the meantime, I’m enjoying the fall color. Hi Shad! Everyone have a good Thursday/Friday. Oh, yeah, tomorrow I’m taking a vacation day. :) :) :) |
What a mess! I received a phone call last night about 4.30 p.m. asking if it would be alright for the guys to come out in the morning at 6.30 to start moving furniture and to pull up the floor. They did. The flooring person was supposed to be there at 9. Come to find out that Lowe's didn't have the flooring so the adjustor was trying his best to have bil find some. My sister is irate with my bil who really is the escape goat in all this. The insurance adjustor should have been calling her. I texted her to tell her I was at the condo. She calls me and tells me she's mad about the whole ordeal mainly with the insurance adjustor. She's going to be super mad when she finds out that their is another problem--may be with the air conditioning unit. I think it's been leaking for some time. They tried to clean up some mold but one part of the sub floor is very soft. My water problem would not have molded that quickly. This is one of the reasons I did not want to be under the same house as she.
Sorry about the vent. Makes me want to go back to Arkansas but I've invested to much of my time and effort to become a Missourian, even registered to vote. I'm forcing her to let me pay the deductible and half of the cost of the flooring. I know that probably will not settle her down. I tried to tell her it was not bil fault. He was a nervous as a cat this morning. If it gets to bad I'll retreat to camping out in my house. I will try to settle her down some more tonight. Think it's best for these two to live separate lives during the week. The old saying that goes "if momma ain't happy, no one's happy" fit's her to a tee. We had thunder storms most of the afternoon and into the evening hours. They don't bother me nearly as bad when I'm not at work. The weeping willow tree at my sis and bil's house in Ash Grove is minus a limb yesterday because of the storm. Think there were some other tree's uprooted in that area. Think I'm going to post this and get on with my day. |
Morning all,
Blood test day today. And the worst thing about that is that you don't make an appointment, you just rock up and wait. And probably wait and wait and wait. Nearly finished my latest Belinda Alexander novel and probably will today in the pathology waiting room. Other than that all is okay so far. The bleeding from the ultrasound has finally stopped and no doubt something will happen on Monday to start it again. Woe is me. I am so tired of all this. So today is mapped out. Bit of gardening, lot of waiting, dog walk, and the final bit of housework for the week. I also have to buy a pair of flat closed in shoes to wear to and from the hospital, since they won't allow sandals or flip flops. I did have a pair, but ODDU has taken one of the them and hidden it somewhere. He is not telling where. This weekend I will go around to DB2's place on Saturday for dinner and football watching. Remind me I have to make some apple crumble for desert please. Some of the family will be there, like my niece and nephew and his wife Got woken up last night or rather early this morning to the smell of smoke. Somewhere someone must have been conducting an illegal burn off. Hope the council caught the nutters. It's too dry round here to have bonfires. Happy - sorry you are having so much pain. It must be hard to live with. Hope the doctor can do something for you and give you something to sort it out. You have so much going on that it is no wonder you and DH are 'out of sorts' - not with each other but with the frustrations of life. Laura - working with people can be a pain in the ***. And it seems holidaying with people can also be a PIA. Annie - Sounds like the birthday party continues. Glad you enjoyed it. How's the foot going. You must be ready to get that boot off. Ceejay - gotta love living through renovations. Hope all goes smoothly and quickly for you. Susie - good luck with the job applications. Fingers crossed for you. Right time to start the housework and garden work before it gets too hot. Might try to get the dog out early as well. Back later. |
TGIF fo sho....
What a long week of chaos. This morning's issue was disputing a charge on my VPs corp credit card. What a hassle. However it is done and behind me now. Sheesh. Last night was sloppy joe's, baked fries and salad of kale, tomato, cucumbers, green pepper with Italian dressing. Quite tasty. I ate my joe without the bun. Just a spoonful on the plate. I liked the salad the best the others like the joe's the best. Two more days til our little men are home. I sure do miss my Nanna kisses and hugs. The house is staying a lot less cluttered (toys) however. :) Tomorrow, my oldest brother, Ed, his wife and I are going to visit momma and daddy's grave site. Then we are off to our grandparents grave sites. Two separate sites about 20 miles apart. We are leaving at 7 am in hopes of not getting back too late. It is about 1 1/2 hours drive northeast of Indy. I have not been there since Mike and I went and put purdies on there last year for the 4th of July. Since Mike was cremated, there is no visit spot for him. Doesn't really matter, they are not actually at the graves anyway. Pia, Mike's wife, is supposed to have a celebration of life for him at some point and spread his ashes along the Ohio river, since he used to houseboat on the Ohio for so many years and loved the peacefulness. That is what he wanted. He shall get, hopefully. CEEG...Oh my goodness, what a mess you are in. I will now tell you the bright side. If the flooded washing machine had not happened, the air conditioner flooring would have gotten much worse with the mold and possible floor collapse. Now it can all be fixed without further damage Hugs sister. Keep peace with your sis, sometimes hard to do. SHADDIE...good luck on your procedure on Monday. I have said a prayer for you and the docs involved. Thank God the smell of smoke was not your house! LAURA...dang docs figure out how to get more money out of us all the time. How is your feet feeling? I have the pampered chef apple dilly in my closet that I have not used in 20 years you could of had. Next time check with me, I have a LOT of pampered chef stuff. I did not watch the debate this week, didn't have the energy to put into the chaos. Sassy is doing ok. Vet said yesterday, she looked good, weight was great considering she is a doxin and they tend to get overweight easy. Her back issue is under control and keep doing what we are doing. Thanks for asking. HAPPY...geez wonder what is causing you so much pain? I talked with a lady yesterday in the elevator (my boot starts many conversations), she said she had knee replaced 3 times as the first time the ding dong doctor put the fake knee in backwards, wouldn't admit it, and had to get a second opinion. That took about a year. She had to have the replacement again. Since then has had another replacement. Sounds like to me she did not research her doc much prior to surgery. Oh and said when the one that was in backwards she had to walk down stairs backwards. I wanted to laugh, but knew better. Did you get your cookies baked? How was bingo? Deck done yet? Siding? Front door? How are the kitties doing with all the racket? Gotta put out more fires. Make it a great weekend all. Hugs |
I spent the night at the condo in Branson. My sis has taken today and Monday off to get some things done and relax. She's been sick with a sore throat this past week and not in the best mood because of this. I've calmed her down a couple of times. Think she and bil are getting on the same page again. He's such a good man to put up with all this.
Tonight I will be at their house in Ash Grove. Not sure about Sunday night, probably Ash Grove. -------- Annie I bet you will be glad to have the gs's back home. I get to play with my sissy grandsons this week end. She's babysitting. Shad Soon this ordeal will be done with. Tell ODDU to give the shoe back. Happy Will they get the deck and hot tub finished today so you can enjoy it tomorrow? Did you bake the cookies? Laura Those follow up visits to me are useless. When I was packing the first time I found an apple peeler still in it's wrapper that I had ordered fro some place. May use it later. Hello's to Susie and Dee |
Hi all,
Happy Saturday. I am about to get cleaned up and go try and help a friend who is covering an extra shift at the thrift shop. I don't know how much help I will be but I hate to leave anyone totally alone on the weekends. Tonight we are meeting friends for pizza. Got a late start on the hot tub yesterday and it was only 72 degrees when I went to bed last night. We are adding chemicals today and hopefully everything will be stable and ready to enjoy tonight. I called the doctor's office again about all the pain I am having. He is out of the office this week and there was a note in my chart for the on call p/a to call me but he never did. I am going to tell the doctor this when / if he calls me back on Monday. I just hope he doesn't call early in the morning as I have an 8:30am early physical therapy session. Ceejay - sounds like your sister needs some chill time. I can understand the frustration at the repairs but taking it out on the hubby doesn't solve anything. I agree about the timing and maybe preventing even more serious problems. Yes I made the cookies - they came out good, everyone ate every last one of them. Annie - I hope all goes well for your road trip today. We don't get to the cemetery either - I think that tradition is just going away, would rather honor them in my heart. So you get the babies back tomorrow? Don't kiss away all their hair  I had to laugh about the knee replacement being put in backwards. I don't think that's my problem, but you never know. :dizzy: Glad to hear that Sassy girl is stable now. Shad - hope you are at the last of the prodding and poking - it does get old fast - wouldn't be so bad if they'd be more efficient! ODDU is a good looking pup! Hope it is not too late to remind you to make apple crumble! Hellos to the rest of the chicks, I am already about 15 minutes behind schedule. Have a good weekend. |
