Aaron I will have to look in the Dash and congrats on your weight loss, great job!- I have been thinking about the 21 day fix only because it geared around portion control and that is what my problem is, I think having the colored dishes that tells you this is exactly what you can have of each food group and this many times a day would help out a lot especially since portion is my biggest issue! I haven't taken the plunge yet though

Sounds like you had a fun filled 5 days even if you cheated and went off plan for a bit- you only live once and you have determination to get right back on the wagon, I am also thinking that alcohol is my problem even though I don't drink it everyday but a couple times a week it is playing havoc with my weight!!

My new granddaughter will be here in around 3 weeks so excited, and Karly GD1 is excited to, she keeps saying Joey baby is her baby :)

Well we have our Sturgis plans set we are heading out July 31st and only staying 4 nights then coming home this year - but I am excited about going we will be staying in Deadwood again this year.

Believe it or not, they trucked in some snow here last night for a local snowboard competition. We watched it in shirtsleeves.

Re: Sturgis....we'll be in Buffalo, Wy on July 31 and then Spearfish for a few days. If i never go to the Chip again, that will be fine with me. Also, the ride we did is a little old so I'll pass on that.

Had another 7 inches of snow last night , our driveway is like a friggin canyon, it is getting harder to shovel/throw it up/away that high.

Had ONE GOOD DAY OF EATING and then a bad day . what the eff is wrong with me, can't even do 2 days in a row. But I am glad my muscles are pretty good, nothing hurts when I get up and I can shovel without being sore afterwards.

President's Week has not been the nightmare at work that it ususlly is, but that will probably change today :devil: with the dump of fresh light snow, and there is an event called the Stowe Derby (people use cross-country skis to ski down Mt. Mansfield then cross-country ski another 5 or 6 miles to a finish line ) and the boss' wife competes, but that means she leaves work for 3 hours to do that, leaving us so very short on staff!! Well if she leaves, that is one quarter of our staff!!

My dipsh*t young (21) co-worker is now the target of the stupid things my boss does, that I was the target previously; I am glad it is not me, kinda sorry for her, but she just makes herself the target by being such a dumb little kid sometimes . And .. she .. does .. NOT .. ever .. stop ... talking! You can actually not respond to her at all, not even look at her, and it doesn't matter. But it is draining to hear it in the background all the time. 7 more weeks!!

Sunster, post pics of your boots, and ya not going to do ride either, actually not sure if I will still be in town to go then. But you will have to remember if you are around Deadwood to give me a call so we can go have a beer, I am sure I will still be drinking beer then :) but hopefully I will be somewhat thinner than I am now. Still haven't taken the plunge to do anything either, just getting ready for granddaughter to get here :) Oh ya I didn't mention that we were just out in Deadwood presidents day weekend just went a few night for Valentine, had a good weekend after the whole weekend came home with only spending $150 and that was for the room stay for the weekend, but I left my Harley jacket because DH was sure it was in the trunk of the car so when we stopped in Wall, SD I looked and it wasn't there so called the Silverado and they had it and shipped it to me, thank goodness since it is my favorite jacket, it is long and has long arms for when I am riding.

Wow Holly only 7 more weeks at winter job, seems so close and it will be here sooner than we all think, but then I look outside and we are freezing it seems like forever away.....

i've done a lot of work to these boots....crystals, added the top 7 inches, side buttons, and now red flames painted hot pink.

Boy am I so ready to ride even if I look like a blob on my bike :( but I do have to say just getting out has me motivated, went to the store and bought some lettuce and stuff, will start having salads at lunch plus they are so easy to put together which gives me more of my lunch time anyways. I am boiling eggs right now to have for breakfast in the morning, and also bought some cheese sticks for afternoon snacks. Tomorrow is our last night of darts and last night for going out on Monday's...... Now this will give me time to work on bling stuff because Tuesday and Wednesday's we have Karly and really can't get anything done those nights and Thursday's are always our night out with friends, and seems weekends we just are not home either.

Walking Dead is on tonight, is anyways watching the 2 new shows on right now- Outlaw Country (based out of a town in MO close to Kansas City)and Gangland (Falco's story)? Not sure what I think of either one of them right now ....

I have gotten my bike out several times over the last couple of weeks, it has felt great.... Even had someone say to me last night she seen me drive by and I looked hottt, I think different of course because of the weight but it sure is nice when others tell you how good you look!

Our cold weather is supposed to be coming back this week, dang it but I we usually always have to have that one last snow storm in late March- April.

I have been just so very blah/meh with my attitude towards life, I guess it always happens in late winter but really bad this time. Most of my days off I sleep late then most usually just go back to bed for hours more. Really embarassing to admit but true. Maybe when we get a glimpse of spring I will get better but we've had 2 days when it was over 30 degrees...that is all!! :(

However I had a phone call yesterday from my summer boss and that got me thinking about summer, that helped. And I would be super-embarassed to have my summer work people see me with this extra fat so maybe I will be inspired now.

Well I gave in and ordered the 21 day fix it should be here Tuesday/Wednesday I figured I have spent $60 on worst things and this will help with portion control and balance the foods correctly so that I don't have to give up fruit or starches.... I figure I will give it a try it does have a money back guarantee so what the heck, it also comes with 5 workout dvd's of which I will do in the morning when DH leaves for work. I am so ready for this and really need to do something as I am back at my starting weight and I have gained that since starting the new job last February!!!!

Reda the boots are by XElement. They are advertised to be not just a fashion boot but a functioning motorcycle boot; they have a few different styles. The moto-element I think, is the rugged sole, and that it is oil and slip resistant. However, obviously the ankle and leather are not as stiff and rugged as a typical motorcycle boot. But i have been wearing freaking heavy duty boots for almost 10 years and I just want to try these out :D

I have had confidence in wearing freaking heavy boots, that if I have a slow drop/tip over, and if the bike lands on my ankle, my ankle is protected (and I HAVE had that happen) I might have bruising if this scenario happens with these thinner leather boots, but sometimes you just gotta take chances.

I just checked X Element's website and did not see my particular style there..however LeatherUp has the style, and Amazon. I chose Amazon, just because I know they are an even bigger company than LeatherUP and had confidence in return policy and stuff. OH and price, they were $99.

Congrats on the 21 Day Fix, Im not familiar with it but it sounds reasonable and $60 isn't much is it!

I am so frustrated with myself that I can't even go ONE DAY on plan :( :( it will change when I am done with the Rat B@stard job (last day is coming up, April 12th!!!) so I will be able to eat lunch or a snack at a reasonable time throughout the day. And I will have almost 3 weeks off!!! Then I will probably start at the good summer job at the club, sometime like at the end of the first week of May.

Oh and I asked the Rat B@stard yesterday if he would decide on the store hours for Easter Sunday? and becasue we are short one person, and another person just won't work Easter Sunday because she is religious, he said I could 'leave early' that day if I work from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. I .. am .. so ... steamed .. :mad: but I can't do anything about it. Just love those boots Holly, I have been the same wearing my heavy duty boots and have been looking from some that seem lighter and just haven't found any either, so you will have to give us a review when you get them and have worn them a few times....

Sunster, I will have to look up AZ bike week next year instead of going to Mexico we are planning on going to AZ and taking the bikes and doing some riding, maybe it will have to be during bike week....

Yes we have been wearing heavy boots for so long, they are super safe for us but they get so hot and heavy to walk around in. So I will def give a review once I can wear these on the bike, but who knows when that will be!! still in frozen wasteland here, except for the mud pit which is our driveway :devil:its the same every year so I just gotta roll with it.

Well I just had to talk to the Turd Boss (:devil:) about Easter, and now I am allowed to 'only' work from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thats a little better :rolleyes: We are invited to our son's fiance's grandma's house for Easter supper , that lady is very sweet and gracious to us (NOT like the fiance's mother, who is a weirdo :devil: ) I am gonna make tiny individual tartlets, lemon and vanilla cream. I will have to make the little crusts tomorrow, freeze them; then make the fillings Saturday night and put them together then. I love making dessert :D

What kind of jeans do you ladies wear?? any particular brand?? I have gotten along with going to Goodwill about once a year and just trying on whatever they have..I just hate everything I have now. My problem (besides big thighs!) is that if jeans are loose, I feel sloppy...if they are snug, I feel FAT. I just don't have the faith to order online, I have to try them on, you know how sizes vary!

We had our monthly motorcycle meeting tonight, at least it was near us and only lasted an hour, I do tend to stick to the agenda and give the hairy eyeball to those who stray off topic, LOL !otherwise we'd be there all night! We have to review scholarship applications in May but our next big event is our annual Toy Run in early August, but things seem to be progressing along fine time wise.

Hi gals. I went for a ride today the wind was between 25 and 35 mph, it was 60 deg. out. Well I am down 15 lbs. so far. I went to the clinic and had my blood tested for cholesterol and sugar, and it all came back good. My blood pressure has came down also. I was reading 140 over 80 as of the first of the year and last month I was down to 108 over 78. So that is getting better. Hey if my opinion counts, the picture of your boots look sexy, and as far as pants go I think tighter looks better then real baggy. And if you wear tight pants and boots at the same time , then you have it all going on. LOL I am a guy.

We have sun today and supposed to get to 60, we have NOT had any nice warm days yet so this will be wonderful. I hope ALOT of melting happens, we still have deep snow in the yard, stil have a little ice in front of the garage, and the driveway is still pretty soft. So we need warmth and sun and wind to dry things up. I want to road-test my new boots so badly!!

Just a quick trip to town but it was awe-------some! My bike started right up and besides two backfires that sounded like shotgun blasts :D she ran fine and smooth.

I did not try out my new boots for this first ride, I'm so superstitious :D and didn't want the new boots to get too muddy from the driveway, its mostly good but a few goopy spots.

Did a ton of yard work today, good accomplishments!!

For the fourth day in a row, worked out hard to a fitnessblender.com workout and "so far" (meaning the day is not over yet) have stuck to about 1500 calories or less.

Oh yeAh.....4 days is a done deal!!! You're on your way!!!

Hey chicks, we had our first motorcycle maintenance/repair class tonight! we didn't ride our bikes there :( because it was raining all day, and 45 degrees...but we will tomorrow for sure even if it is rainy again, because we really want to get our bikes up on the lifts and get our hands on em :D

Well pub crawl went ok we had 36 people show up which we thought was good for the 1st one so hopefully next year will be much better, maybe doing a theme would be better, I guess we have a year to figure it out!

Well my eating still isn't the greatest and no exercise at all - I have plenty of motivation but then again I just don't have any :( We made it out to Deadwood this weekend came home with $25 more than I went out with so that is always good, had a great weekend, thinking our next trip might be mid July they are having their 1st annual 3 wheeler rally so thought maybe we could go check it out. Deadwood was doing a Cinco De Mayo event and it was fun, they had salsa taste testing, guacamole taste testing, beer taste testing, and tequila taste testing we had a good time and it gave us some ideas to maybe try for our riding club for fundraising.

Sunster you will be leaving soon for your cross country trip in less than a week, I so envy you and wish it was me going as well, but have a safe and fun trip!!!

We (husband and a fellow UMV member) rode to Green Mountain Harley Davidson on Saturday afternoon and wrote a check for $13, 099 for the 2015 Street Bob that we are raffling off next January :carrot: Now I can call to have the tickets printed and we can start selling those babies :D

The other member Clarence, who was with us, had one of his hard bags come unattached at 50 mph and everything flew out :eek: Thanks goodness the organization's money bag kept intact, but his eyeglasses ended up in 6 inches of mucky trench water..he said he needed new glasses anyway, that is a good attitude!! We had a bungie so we banded it all together for temporary.

I am slacked on my exercising!! you girls know it was my saving grace :( with my summer schedule it is so hard to do, it IS possible but I've been so lazy. I have accepted that I will not ever have my hard and lean body from about 10 years ago but if I can at least keep it semi-firm and flexible and working for everyday life, I want that. BUT I have to force myself and it is so hard!! send me some :dust: please :D

Been able to ride to work most days, some mornings I have FROZE, some mornings I know I could have ridden but didn't feel I needed to prove anythingn :p

Wow, I am sure everyone heard about the Full Throttle Saloon, crazy......
Not much going on around here, spending time with grandbabies or as much as we can, DS2 is fighting for full custody of his baby girl, mom should get served the paperwork this week- she only lets him have her when she has to work and now that she has been working overnights she only lets him keep her 1 or 2 of the nights and a friend keep her the other nights, not flying with this family!!! But court date is set for Oct 14th so only have to put up with this crap for another month and even if he doesn't get full custody at the very least should get shared custody.

Our big poker run is this Saturday and so far weather looking decent sunny and 72, just trying to get everything ready as we have the poker run, silent auction and we have our drawing from our summer raffle, going to be a very busy day!

Holly I suppose your summer job is about winding down here soon, then do you go back to the convience store full time again?
