I love that I can discuss anything with you ladies. And I really love that I dont have to be uncomfortable about talking about my weight. Hello Jaded Ladies...
I am fairly new to 3FC, and I love it .. I wish I had found it sooner! I would love to be a member of the Jaded Ladies... so I am going to follow your form and we will see ;) Name ~ Krista Age ~24 Occupation ~U.S.Army and part time college student Location ~Kaiserslautern, Germany Height ~5'7" How much weight are you trying to lose ~ 40-45 lbs. - we'll see how it goes What type program are you doing ~ I was doing weight watchers, but had problems with it (mostly my whiny husband). So, now I am just cutting back on portion sizes and measureing them out exactly until I get a feel for what a "portion" is and I am in the military so we do pt for an hour everymorning, and then my co-workers and I also work out for an hour everynight as well. What’s your marital status ~ I have been married to the sexiest man alove for a little over a year now :love: :lol: Any children and grandchildren ~ I have one son (Sean 3 1/2) from a previous marriage (yes, I know that I am only 24, but I was only married to #1 for 9 months when I filed for divorce). And he is is the States because his dead beat dad won't sigh a visa for him to relocate over here even though he hasn't paid child support ever, or seen him in 2 years. So he is living the life of a prince in WI with my parents. Tell us about your pets ~ Back home I am used to having a gang of horses and dogs with a few cats mixed in their for good measure... BUT over here we are petless. However, right now we are watching a 7yr. old black lab for a neighboor who is currently in the middle east, so we will have the dog for a while. What are your hobbies and interests ~ I LOVE reading all kinds of books, and trail running when it isn't 100 degrees outside. I love movies, traveling and trying out new extreme sports. Last month we went white water rafting, bungie jumping and canyoning all in one weekend. :eek: List 2 of your all-time favorite movies ~That's a tough call.. A Few Good Men, and then if I am bored -- I love watching the "Friends" episodes!! If you could spend the day with a famous person, who would you choose, and why ~ Steve from The Crocodile Hunter and his wife.. I think they would be a blast to hang out with!! :) Other comments ~ For some reason this weight loss has been really hard for me... I have been working on the same #s since May. I have been really depressed since I arrived here in Jan. I hate being away from my baby, and I hate my job. But I am here for a little over a year yet and I need to get through it. I figured focusing on my weight loss would be a good, healthy divirsion. So, here I go! |

I am building my business as a publicist, trainer and public speaker, after a career in the public education system. Location: western Canada (land of big skies and big dreams). Height: 5'9" How much weight are you trying to lose? : I am GOING to lose around 70 pounds of stress-related fat. What type of program are you using?: 1200 cal./day, largely the Mediterranean diet, with an exercise program. What's your marital status: Currently single. My wonderful male partner died 17 years ago; and "pickings have been slim" (bad pun!) in terms of "live wire" males since then. Lots of older men seem to be looking for a caretaker rather than for an equal partner, IMHO. Children and grandchildren: 2 adult sons, 2 grandchildren (7 and 9 years old). Pets: 1 cat, who loves to play "hide and seek" in the house. Hobbies and interests: Home decor and garden projects, travel and exploring cultures, writing, photography, history and architecture, singing (blues, jazz, gospel, semi-professionally), cooking and entertaining. 2 all-time favourite movies: "Auntie Mame" for its message about enjoying life as fully as possible; "Philadelphia", about compassion and tolerance.
