Well I personally love the bun :) just weird I guess not to mention lazy. When my hair was long I wore it in a bun it was quick and easy. ;)

Oh my goodness I hope not also MauiKai. :hug: Huh I know plenty of people that would die to have your beautiful hair. My youngest daughter has beautiful, long, thick hair. Mine would be the same way if I didn't cut it, minus the thickness. :dizzy: It's funny how I want her hair now ;)

noname I blew it, so I'm gonna make an attempt to hit the gym this evening since they close at 10. I had a feast with the corn pops, so not good. :(

Sum , me too on the rough evenings but mine have been rough days too :D Sorry about your sons games. Better luck on the next ones that he plays :hug: I want to go to a Zumba class. I'm gonna check to see if the gym has one this evening. I've watched them. The instructor are pretty intense with their moves so I should be able burn off all of this junk ;)

Oh how I wish I had thick, luxurious hair! Mine is so fine!!! I must keep it short in order for it to look decent. If I let it go too long, it just looks stringy, and downright ugly. -- I also envy to those who can actually wear a bun; I don't have enough hair for one. It just looks so small and pathetic; I literally look like a pinhead. I kid you not!! -- So when I am feeling that I need to take care of myself; I keep it cut no longer than chin length.

Sum you're funny :) My daughter told me the other day that she didn't realize how big my forehead was and I thought wow! then she said, well I guess that's where we get it from :lol: yep you all have Mommy's noggin ;) I didn't make it to the gym. No Zumba class today and I just chose not to go. After the junk I consumed today I will sure pay for it tomorrow, smh.

LOL Rennie; we are funny! -- My forehead looks big too when I pull my hair back, I think it is because my hair lacks volume and glues to my head when pulled back. And my nose looks HUGE then too. -- Nope I need to keep my hair down to hide all my flaws :D DH and I differ on our opinions how I should wear my hair. He likes it super straight, and I am constantly trying to add "volume" by using rollers etc. to puff it up. The curse of a thin hair.

Okee back to 5:2 topic :rofl:

Yesterday went pretty well. Scale is not rewarding me with any losses though. I did my first aerobic class in 6-8 weeks, since the knee injury and it went well. I did not bounce too much, I took it easy. The injured leg is little sore today, not from the injury but from lack of use; the muscle feels like I did something, I guess i was babying that side when working out.

Today we have more baseball, all day deal. I have no clue what I am going to eat. We will eat out; I will prolly get a salad with dressing on the side.

Sum sorry about the soreness today, how it doesn't linger :hug: My thighs were hurting yesterday. I don't know that was about other than maybe running I guess. And I didn't do it yesterday and probably not the rest of the weekend either so we shall see. After yesterday's mess I have decided to do a fast day

lunch ~ cucumber tomato salad
snack ~ cheese stick
dinner ~ mock potato salad, turnip/mustard greens & tilapia

calories 438 carbs 14 protein 31 ... a really good day for me :)

I really need to reconsider my fast days, even though Mon and Wed are easy, it just feels that I am not fasting in ages between Wed and Mon.

I have been naughty with my eating. Today is going much better, as long as I survive the night; ugh. I had a brunch type of meal, skipping lunch and having dinner. Total cals will be around 1200.

I did not weigh this morning, I was afraid that the number would be in the 140's.

I must get back OP. Operation Finland can not fail!!

Next week I am focusing on exercise as well, I have been slacking off on that department. Back to lifting 3 x week, walking the pup 5 x week and walking on that darn "DREADMILL" 2-3 x week.

Next weekend is my son's last weekend of tournament baseball, when he plays Thr-Sun it totally messes up my schedule.

Sum I did well yesterday, but today not so good, smh. I'm hoping I didn't do too much damage today with all of my snacking :crossed: You're good, I can't avoid the scale no matter how hard I try. I still get on it. Good for you :)

I fasted today!! And now if I don't eat anything tonight :crossed: I will call it a victory!! My witching hour/s is/are about to start. If I make till 9 then I will just go to bed and watch some telly and fall asleep. Wish me luck! I am not hungry, I had a very nice dinner...the snack monster just surfaces at night.

My weight is up, I am getting wayyyy to close to the 140's. I want my 135 back :cry:

Hi! I'm around... I was away over the weekend and took a sick day yesterday. Feeling much better today and still managed to fast yesterday (it was tummy related so not that difficult).

I keep going overboard on the weekends! Ugh. Disappointed in my small loss last week and majorly going off track this weekend so it should be easy to stay on track this week. We are going to the beach and camping this weekend so food shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Sorry that you were sick noname! I hope you are feeling better today :hug: Interestingly, I am better OP during the weekends (well the ones that we are home). My hubby is home and he always keeps me on track. I just think I eat out of boredom, as I told you before, during the week. Maybe taking a hard look at your weekends is in order?

I really hope that MauiKai did not take offense. It was not directed at you :cry: We all have our flaws and mine happens to be super fine hair. I am sorry if you did take offense, it REALLY was not my intention!!

I finally fasted and stayed OP!! :yay: :yay: -- Hoping that this will be the start of many OP days for me. -- That darn baseball throws me off; I like routine and when it is messed up, I fail :no:

Scale did not drop after my fast day though, but that is okay. Last week, after a fast day I gained and it sent me into a nasty spiral...took the attitude; why bother :( And then the baseball happened, and the rest is history.

I got as low as 135.8 last week, today I was 139.4. Hoping to see that 135 again by the beginning of next week, maybe even earlier if I stay OP; I seem to drop bloat off pretty quick at times.

Hormonally I have no idea where I am at. My period was 2 weeks late and then it lasted for 2 weeks. Sucks to get old :lol: So I have no idea when I have ovulation gain etc. I am hoping that I will get regular soon.

We got a cold front that went though last night, temps dropped 20 degrees. I will have a nice cool day for walking the pup. -- At night I will hit the gym; to keep me away from food/fridge. I will lift some weights and walk on treadmill.

Tomorrow is supposed to be another fast day, I may postpone it to Thursday. As long as I remember to pack lunch to take with me to the Finnish Center.

Sum, I'll only take another look at my weekends if I stop losing :) I didn't lose much last week, but I'm not one to make any changes until I've been stalled or slowed down for at least a month! The last two weekends were out of character.

Yay for a successful fast! Enjoy the weather and please sent that our way :D
