Summer Challenge Part 2
Starting a new thread to continue our battle of the bulge :lol:
Starting weight 158.5lbs :cry: i've got my ooomph back and i'm hoping to post some good results here :D June 20th 158.5lbs June 27th 158.5lbs no change :( July 04th 158.5lbs :?: i've been an :angel: for 4 days! July 11th 158lbs :halfempty: - .5lb July 18th 157lbs -1lb :doh: too much of this :cheers: going on! July 25th 157lbs. Aug 1st 157lbs. Looks like this is my leaving for my Holiday's Weight :lol: my fault..ihave'nt tried at all and i know i could have easily lost 12-15lbs by now :shrug: G Good Luck Jess and Barbmarie and keep it up :D I'll check in in September if not before :wave: |
A New Goal
Okay so I established a new goal. I want to lose .84 of a pound each week. If I do this then I will reach my goal of 145 by Thanksgiving. This is a very reasonable goal and shouldn't be too hard. Hopefully this goal will be simple enough for me to accomplish.
June 20th - 166.6 lbs :mad: June 27th - 164.8 (I think my scale is broken) July 04th - Wasn't home to weigh myself plus TOM is here so I'll just skip this week :) July 11th - 166.6 July 18th - 166.6 :( July 25th - 166.2 August 1st - 166.2 August 8th - 166.0 At least its going down and not up. August 15th - 168 :yikes: August 22nd - 166.4 August 29th - 165.2 |
Jess i've just looked at your pics and :yikes: WHAT A DIFFERENCE!
You should be so proud of yourself :bravo: you look so pretty and do not need to lose any more weight in my opinion ;) but we'll support you in your goals and like you said your goals are very doable..GOOD LUCK :lucky: |
Thanks Cat. You know that saying "pictures don't lie." Well that's a bunch of crap :lol: I'm very unhappy mainly with my arms, but also my thighs and stomach. I have lost a lot of weight but I still have a ways to go.

For some reason I lost weight this week. It's weird because I haven't exercised once and I wasn't making the best choices in regards to eating. Hmmmm maybe it's the warm weather. I have no idea what it could be, but whatever I'm doing its working :cb:

Congratulations Jess :cp: I will have to weigh-in tomorrow :s: i need a new battery for my scale its had the same one in since i bought it and i think thats why the readings are so erratic :dizzy:
they changed so many times yesterday that i was in shock :lol: and i weighed 3lbs less later in the day than i did in the morning :shrug: and thats not usual. |
Ok, I'm in. I took a break but back now. Got a little discouraged at the end there of the last one. Good luck Cat, Jess and anyone else who wants to join our challange. I am not going to set a total loss goal, but would at least like to lose 1lb a week.

I'm going to try real hard this week so i've decided to have a "no beer" week :yikes: what have i said? :lol: i'm sure that that will make a big difference...and i'm going to exercise too :D i have'nt done any since Wednesday..Bad Cat :o |
Thanks for the welcome back. I have really started exercising the past couple of weeks, every day. It does make a big difference. I feel a little looser in the clothes too. This weeks gonna be hard, with the 4th of July and all being on a weekend. Yikes!

HUH!! :doh: I've been really good for 4 days and i have'nt lost a pound :mad: i can only assume its because i've been inactive because of my broken toe :rolleyes: when i first got on the metal "thing" it showed a 1lb loss but then i made the mistake of getting on again for a second opinion and thats when 'it' double crossed me :( so i'll have to grin and bear it and wait until next week..i'll try and do some exercise today too. I WILL get that thing to show a loss next week!

Thanks Jess but i'm struggling :hyper: i got on the scale this morning and i just could'nt get the same reading twice :rolleyes: and it varies by 3lbs!! I don't want to buy another scale they upset me :lol: anyway, i've just tried again and i got 158lbs 3 X's so i'll take that..just .5lb but going in the right direction :D

Uggghhh I had my company picnic this weekend and I ate a lot. Mainly deserts. Not a good way to lose weight.
