Default Hey there Brat!

Good for you, you beat our CJ to the punch. I wasn't even paying attention to what # we were on, otherwise I could pull a CJ and just post a couple more posts till I got to 30 than it would be off to start the new thread. Good job Sylvia!

I am happy that you got to start the new thread, but am wondering how you got by the Queen and hope she is just busy and nothing else.

Oh by the way Sylvia, I sure will let you know about how the Body Flex thing works. Today I had hubby measure me and I will have him re-measure me every Friday from now on, you are soppose to measure yourself every 7 days. But I did watch the starting up tape, which gave me the instructions and tried the breathing techinique and some other exercises and I really felt good afterwards. I guess the basis of this is that the deep breathing you do puts you in the aerobics fat burning mode, and believe me you do them many many times during this video. Than afterwards I did the 20 minute workout tape as well and it gave me a really good workout I thought. Than eafterwards I went on a 1 hour walk around the neighborhood and hopefully while I was still in the aerobic fat burning mode. So I sure will let you know how it goes. I checked out the Body Flex thread in the 3 fat chicks message board and most everyone liked what it did for them.

Well time to get to beddie bye. Maybe that was where she was "in the tub" where likes to go when she is dirty. LOL

Hey CJ, come on back and post with us. Remember your words, "we can't let this group die now can we"? Hope all is well with you and we hear from you today sometime.

Take it easy guys and talk to you later, Love you guys, Sharon

Hello Ladies!

I hope you are all doing well. I'm just popping in for a quick hello. It's been hot here in San Francisco, I can't wait for the fog to come back! Went for a little walk around the lake that's close here and it felt good.

Well ladies, I hope some of you come in and post.

It's beddy bye time for me!!

Have a great evening!

HELLO EVERYONE!!! I'M BACK!!!

I have missed this sight sooo much. I don't remember how long it's been since I last posted. So much has gone on.

I now work (outside of the home) at American Woodmark cabinet company. We make kitchen and bathroom cabinets. I have been there a year yesterday. Started on 3rd shift, and I am now on days. First job I have ever had on day shift, and still getting used to it (been on it since beginning of March).

My beautiful daughter, Hannah, is 3 1/2 (will be 4 in Sept.) and is soooo special to me. She is doing well with her therapies and just finished her first year of special needs preschool (just in case anyone forgot, or for any "new" people to me--Hannah is mildly autistic).

Weight wise I am doing well. I was at my heaviest 2 years ago at 227. When I started working last year, I was 217. Right now I weigh 195. Been there for awhile. Having trouble losing weight since going to days. When I worked 3rds, I would eat a little something before going into work, then around 2 in the morning, would take my lunch break. Then not eat again until right before work. Since going on days I eat more often (not necessarily better). Still can't seem to eat breakfast (never have been one to eat after getting up, have to be up for awhile), so I go from about 6 am to 10:30 without eating, then I'm starving. Then don't eat again until about 6. Not a good cycle.

I have joined the YMCA again, and Hannah and I have started taking walks, weather permitting, in the evenings. Actually Mommy walks, and Hannah rides in the stroller. There is this beautiful trail not far from our house. Used to be an old railroad track that was made into a walkway, and it's right behind an ele. school and baseball field, so it's used alot, and I feal safe walking on it. I also joined the women's softball team at church. I play 2nd base. We have a streak going--a losing one--but it's a streak. We have lost EVERY game we have played so far. First game 26-2.

Well, guess I will go now as I probably have bored everyone with my life!

Thanks for listening, and boy have I missed all of you!!!

Desiree- How wonderful that you have posted with us. I really missed you Desiree and have mentioned you recently wondering where you have been. But we all understand and how wonderful that you are doing so well in your pregnancy. I know you have been really busy with everything going on in your life lately. That is a great idea that you are watching your parents house while hubby is staying at your house. Do you parents live very far away from where you live? The visits will be fun and he will surely appreciate you when he sees you. There will be no one at home to take care of him and men don't like that I know for a fact. If I know you, you take such good care of everyone and he is sure to miss you soooo much. When you return he will be so happy to see you, cause he will probably be sick of all those frozen TV dinners or fast food type take outs he will get. LOL Yes do post again and we all really miss you and love you much.
Thanks, Sharon. BTW, my parents live about 45 minutes away. Just far enough to make it hard for DH to commute. Just far enough for him to learn to appreciate me. LOL!!

Sylvia, thank you for asking how I have been! I feel special that I have been missed so much.

You all can check out how I am doing with the pregnancy by reading my journal, if you dare.

My Pregnancy Journal

I'll talk to you all soon!

Hello Ladies!

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend! So nice to see "old" faces posting in here! WELCOME BACK!!!

I'm hanging in there. Im now 8 months pregnant and really feeling it now. I can't sleep, I can't shop like I used to and I have a hard time sitting as well. I won't even tell you about how I feel when I walk for a long period of time! That's OK, after all I've been through, I would trade this in for anything. On a down side, I got laid off from my job. I only worked two days out of the week but it still was enough for me to buy baby stuff with. Funny, they laid me off and then hired a part-time person to do what I was doing. Sounds pretty fishy to me. Believe me, I'm not a happy camper with them!

Desiree- Very nice to hear from you! How are you my fellow pregnant chickie?

Kim- Welcome back! Soundslike you are on the right track with exercise. Don't worry about winning softball games, all that matters is that you are having fun. I know, easier said than done!

Sharon, CJ, Judy....where are you guys!?!? I hope you come in and post one of these days!!

Well ladies, I'm off to bed. Hopefully my bambino will stop with his "Bruce Lee" kickboxing moves tonight so that his Mama can get some sleep!!!

Take care!

Hello Ladies!
I hope you are all doing well. I'm just popping in for a quick hello. I was hoping that there would be other posts in here since my last one over the weekend.

Nothing new with me, went to the doctor today and I gained a quarter of a pound. Never thought I would be happy about gaining weight.

Well, I hope some of you lovely ladies come in and say hello!

Take care!

GOOD MORNING

Sylvia, I just had to take pity on you for being here all alone!

Allura is here with me for the Summer. We're both having a ball.

She brought me a tiny Persian kitten from Neb. Just what I need, another cat!

My dog was eating a piece of hot dog and the kitten got too close so he snapped at her. Made her eye bleed so we rushed her to the Vet. After the exam the Vet said "He will be fine". I said "You mean SHE will be fine". He said "No, I mean HE will be fine!" I don't think I ever felt so stupid! I would have sworn that kitten was a female!

We have been clearing out all the junk from her old room. Now that all boarders have gotten out of my house, I can re-claim my territory! We're getting ready to have a painting party in there. Anyone interested in coming to Okla. and joining in?

Hugs, Judy

Hey Judy!

Thanks for taking pity on me! It has been kind of lonely in here

I wish I could stop by and join your painting party....but seeing that I'm 8 months pregnant, that wouldn't be a good idea.

Sounds like you and Allura are having a good time, kitten and all.

Have fun "regaining" your territory!

Oh my goodness! I didn't mean to stay away so long! We've just been so busy that time got away from me .. My sister has been here from California - they just left this morning. I've been busy getting my garden all planted and running here and there - and just look at all our people back posting!

Sharon: Thinking of you today - THE WEDDING! I bet it is going to be so beautiful and I'm sorry we could not make it. Let us know when you get home how it went . And, HAPPY BIRTHDAY for tomorrow! Everyone - Sharon's birthday is June 15.

Blunder: So glad to see you posting ... I'm so glad you have your granddaughter with you for the summer - what a lot of fun you will have. I'm glad you now have your own freedom back from your "boarders" ... I think it will be much better for you. Congrats on your weight loss .. keep up the good work! I have been following the Atkins way for the last 3 weeks and have lost 5 lbs so far. Plus, no heartburn or stomach problems either.

Desiree: Glad to hear all is going well for you ... how's it going at your parent's house. Hubby missing you?? I bet he is very much! Hope you are feeling good ... post again soon when you can.

Kim: Welcome back! Sounds like you are quitte the busy gal. I'm glad Hannah is doing well. Doesn't seem like 3 1/2 years since she was born! Time flies! Way to go with your weight loss also .. with all that exercise, you should do very well. Don't stay away so long ok? Post soon.

Slyvia: Well, you are almost at the finish ... 1 month to go .. I know that last month can get quite uncomfy! Hang in there, it will soon be over and you will be holding that beautiful bundle of joy in your arms! It will be all worth the waiting.

Oh, before I go I got to tell you ... we went to the casino the other night and I won $400! I only spent $20 so that was great. Hubby spent $40 - didn't win so still left ahead of the game!

And ... I received another award for my personal website - the Golden Web Award for 2003-2004! I'm so on could nine. It's feels good to know a group of people voted my site to be good! If you care to check it out here's the addy: www.angelfire.com/mi3/cjsplace

Well, got to get dressed .. going in to town today and walk around .. will post more often, I promise. Oh, did you see the notice where the forum is going to be down for a day or two? Updating again ... talk to ya all soon

Love, CJ

Hi everyone!!

I was beginning to get a complex. I come back and everyone leaves! hee hee.

I've lost 3 pounds this week. Probably water weight as it's soooo hot and muggy at work (work in a cabinet making factory and we have these huge "ovens" that bake the topcoat on the parts so it doesn't take days to dry them--so it's a good 20 degress or more hotter in there than outside). I know if it's just from sweating to death than it's not the weight I'm wanting to lose, but after seeing the scale sit at 195 for a month or two, it was nice to see it go down.

Haven't had a chance to do much of anything lately. Been so tired and rundown. Don't know if I'm coming down with something, or what it is. I get home from work anywhere between 4 pm to 6 pm, and I'm just pooped. Chad is doing everything for Hannah, and running the house. I just sit there, or lay on the couch until bed time at 9. Then it's a real effort to drag myself out of bed in the morning. Lately it's been 6 or 6:15 when I get up, and I have to leave by 6:30. I am trying to eat, thinking I just haven't been eating right so no energy, but it's almost to much of an effort. Chad is worried, and is insisting on getting me into the dr. and i agreed. When I can't find the energy to take care of my little girl, something isn't right. Luckily, no softball games this week because of the weather. Got two next week, and VBS starts at church next week, too, so I will have no choice but to get up and do things.

Guess I will go. I'm the only one up in the house right now and I'm going to try and get something done around here.
