I survived my first night at the gym. Meeting with the trainer wasn't so bad. He understood my limitations (a shoulder that's not good and a knee that hurts), but I feel like it was well worth my time and money. Two more sessions with him and then I'll decide if I am going to have any more (see what kind of deal they can give me). After my 30 minutes with the trainer I went to the Zumba class.
I only lasted for half of it (30 minutes), but half is better than none. And it was a very high intensity Zumba class - much more so than what I did at the Y a few years ago. I went shopping last night and bought myself a swimsuit so I can swim laps. I have a couple of suits but I am not comfortable in them so I got a basic suit from Walmart and I already have a pair of swim shorts to go over the top of it. Tonight I plan on going after work and at least sitting in the hot tub for a bit. How crowded the pool area is (it's just a couple of swim lanes) will be the decider if I actually do it or actually swim some laps.
I am really debating buying myself one of these suits -

Have a great day ladies . . . I'm ready for it to be over so I can get started on a birthday cake I need to bake and decorate for tomorrow. I'm not sure I can accomplish what it is the person wants so I'd like to get it over with. lol.
