Ok girls after what Ramona posted about losing her friends, who answered the survey with "you only wear a seat belt some of the time"? I don't want to lose any of you so please remember to wear a seat belt.

Sherry you look so much taller in your pic. But that is still almost a half foot taller than I.

I'm the guilty party, my car has automatic seat belts, so no problem. But if I ride with Steve in the van I forget to buckle up other then if I'm out on the highway with him. :yikes: Drives like a mad man!

I am right at 5'3" if I stretchhhhhhhhhhhh, Brown to hazel eyes, dark, almost black hair if you don't look at the gray ones!

Ramona: So terribly sorry to hear about your friends. What a horrible tragedy. Things will never be the same for your dear friend again. How sad, I'm sure you feel like there is something that you should do, I guess about the only way to help ease the pain would be to just be there for your friend.

Deb: Ya I put up with you guys but I like ya too!!!!!! I have a mixture of a dysfuctional family. add it to a mixture of Steves dysfuctional family plus toss in an X mother in law (also known as the wicked with of the west) and father in law (also known as the wuss who sucks up to the wicked witch of the west) and we have the makings of a fun filled Sunday afternoon/evening!!!! Oh, I forgot to mention that the "Phyco Sister in law" will be there to wreak misery on all that will pay attention to her! :s:

Well, Liz did not pass the practicals (hands on) portion of her EMT test. :mad: I was afraid that this would happen. The instructor had a very laid back attitude and had been telling them how easy it was. I guess four others failed prior to her turn. She can go to another city about 60 miles from here and retake it in June. So, I guess she will be doing that, I will keep you updated.

It's official! Allison belongs to Steve and I!!!!! She is blessed to have inherited asthma and allergies from the two of us! We ended up making a trip to the doctor after three weeks of on again, off again illness. The doctor gave her some pretty high doses of meds along with an antibiotic, so $175.00 dollars later, Allison is on the road to recovery!

Please tell Liz that I'm so sorry that she didn't pass.But the good part is that she can retake it in June!! I know she'll do fine then.Tell her to keep that chin up and to keep on smiling! :)

My morning weigh-in: I stayed the same. No loss.....No gain.I was still 174. I have only lost 17 lbs. in 2 months (Started March 17th) Shouldn't I have lost more by now? Or has my walking & building muscles got something to do with it?

About seatbelts....do you know that most life insurance policies will NOT pay if you are killed in a car wreck where you aren't wearing your seatbelt?

Gayle, I only got parts of your family. My first thought was that you must be related to Penny, a former coworker of mine, but then reading further, I'm not sure if we're not distant cousins. One side of the family was super, but I didn't though that until the past year. I'm trying to "blame" the bad stuff on the family my 2 uncles married as they married sisters so we got a double dose of whatever they were dishing out.

Ramona: sorry about your friend's loss. There really is a right thing to say at a time like this. Sometimes hugs are the best you can do.

Deb & Sherry: I'm still working on a trip to Nashville. Unless my friend there comes through with something else, I'm thinking now that I'll come in July. Next month, I'm hoping to take my granddaughter to Metropolis to the Superman fest and also see my cousin's new house. Deb, I didn't realize until this morning that you are actually north of Nashville. How far are you from I-24?
