Hope everyone has a relaxing Memorial Day weekend - it sounds like we all need it in one way or another!

Absmom - Ha Ha if you think relaxing dinner meant minus kids :lol: That does not happen very much around here. Unless C is here, I haven't had a babysitter besides my girlfriend (and I use her for school functions). At the moment - our kids go everywhere. We are just so used to it because of no family here. In CO my mom will be forced to watch them a lot!!!! Then when C is here we don't have enough time to leave her out. I am looking forward to them being a bit older so we can sneak off for dinner and little errands without always having to hear 'but why can't we have this and if you get to go to Ulta, why can't we go to Toys R Us?? "

Juno - It's Friday - yeah!!!! I can not tell you the thing with the Osbournes. Cassie tells me it's funny but I can't even understand them (but I can not understand much on MTV). How reality is that show when they can afford whatever they want?? Most of my shows are going off the air and Steve tried to make me have a pact with him that we were not picking up any new shows no matter how much someone tells us it's great. I like a lot of cable shows vs. network shows. I hate all the reality TV so at the moment there isn't much else on the networks!

My goals again are water (which I did yesterday, focus on healthier food because we ate out two nights in a row!!!, make a new exercise schedule starting Sunday and get back on my kick. I took 3 days off because I have been following my schedule for Self for 12 weeks and just needed some down time! I have still done my outside walks but not heavy stuff. Just couldn't deal.

I need to get some stuff done.

Steph get lots of dates in CO ---- You deserve many real 'kid free' nights out with your DH... We moved up here to be close to family and I thank God for my mom and sisters... as well as my new babysitter across the street. Not a lot of money to go out too much, but we've managed a few morning coffees and, yes, there's Wendys!

Juno - I have to admit that I have watched the Osbornes. Its kind of like a train wreck. No matter how horrible it is, you just have to look.... Your assessment of the kids is spot on - no talent brats with little or no respect for anyone or anything, except it seems their mother. They are FREAKS. I am guilty of watching too much TV - especially this past winter... All the reality shows Survivor, Amazing Race -love that, but mostly Trading Spaces and other cable shows. Now that I don't have a baby hanging off my breast 24/7 I'm now trying to wean myself off. I've actually done some gardening after the kids are in bed, reading, surfing... I'm getting better...

Today - since I have to take Monday off (gym closed and its suppose to be raining all day) I took a body pump class (OUCH). Up'd my weights and really pushed (OUCH). My sister has a bike ride and run planned for tomorrow --- more pain, and then swim on Sunday. I am finished with 3 full official weeks of TRI training. Only 9 more to go ...

I am feeling SORE, but strong... We'll see if I make it through the weekend...

LOL abs. I have never seen the show. I'm just wondering about the boy as babe magnet. I saw one of those 'best dressed' trash magazines, people or something, and you open it up - nicole kidman, check. turn the page. halle berry, looking good. turn the page. renee zellweger, looks fabulous. turn the page, a 2-page spread of the osbourne daughter, right next to these icons - that is what has me scratching my head. I wondered if there was a joke that I wasn't understanding.

Or maybe they were something really special - Danny Devito is so fabulous and charismatic, he transcends, you know? I wondered if it was something like that. I stand updated, thanks abs.

TGIF!!! I made it to the club and drug myself through a half hour of cardio and that's all she wrote, today. I have done really well with food and water, and after a normal night's sleep, I'll go to the Saturday class I like.

I'm so happy it's a 3-day weekend - I'm making it brief today but will catch you when I can--

Well I'll start a new thread, why not? Not sure what the normal protocol should be, anymore. I used to find that when there were a lot of replys the page wouldn't load for me, but now I have DSL so it's hard to judge that. I notice that some of the other threads go into multiple pages. Let me know what you think. I'll make a new one today and you can tell me how many pages is too many.
