kids r out of school today so im playing hooky from gym. The sun is still britely shining altho temp isnt as high its still way nice out so still hanging laundry n soaking up the rays! I'll weigh-in 2maro at gym. My eating has been good short of a cpl homemade brownies i had that my dd made oops lol! Wonderful, beautiful, glorious, brite sunshine!

LOL kris! i agree this is not the time of year to slow down, altho this is the time of year that i normally do so i'm just tickled with the fact that ive not gained all my weight back and im still doing my work-outs n walks instead of hybernating! Hope you ladies had a great weekend and your week is awesome and uplifting!

Hmmm did everyone go into hibernation and not tell me about it?! according to my tape measure i'm DOWN another inch in my waist! whittling my middle is my biggest goal and i know it's going to be my longest, hardest goal but it will happen! It's become a real challenge for me now cuz the hubby said lasnite " you know you'll never be able to get rid of all that"! I'm guessing it was suppose to be a "don't get discouraged if" thing BUT that's not how i took it! IF i weren't on a mission before i definitely am now just to prove him wrong! The weather man is calling for more snow tonite but only possibly an inch so no big deal other than its not even pose to get to 30* so it's not gonna melt as it falls ugh and more snow, sleet and freezing rain friday! You ladies wake up get it in gear and cheer each other on!

Hi gals,

Sorry I dropped off the face of the earth, but it's been a rough time. One of my cats became quite ill very suddenly, and died on Sunday. It was awful and I'm just heartbroken. He was a sweet boy and I miss him. I've been trying not to smother my sorrow with food but haven't been all that successful. I know time is the best healer, so I'll try and ride it out.

I hope everyone else is doing well.

I just want you all to know that I'm still here Weight is blah ... I've started working again and I'm just trying to get re-adjusted to doing everything ... I will try to catch up tomorrow and Kris I did read where you said let's liven things up and get this party started ... Keep that spirit my friend ... I love it

I'm awake I'm awake!!! I keep falling off on the weekends, I need to find better ways to spend my weekends rather than eating and drinking with my friends. Something active and productive because all my efforts are lost starting Friday.

Tonight I did a nightclub cardio class at the gym, and tomorrow I will run!!

Gmorning! Woke up to 5ish inches of powdery white stuff this a.m n everything being closed for the day! More on the way 2maro too again pose 2 b just a dusting hmmm. My sister txt n told me shes DOWN 41lbs so far! My family joined me on my journey not long after i started n they realized i was serious n in it for the long haul. Im so proud of her! They r in the experimental stage trying dif methods n i have to bite my tongue cuz i just wanna tell em "go whole" n calorie count its easy simple n basic but thats my way n not for everyone so ill just b glad they r trying! AKA- make hiking get togethers w ur friends then drinks n such after or how bout wii bowling parties ur moving alot while drinking n eating? just some things i do so i still get movement in n my friends r moving too.

aka ~ I am involved in two BL challenges (one on here and one through my sister's facebook page). Official weigh-in for 3FC is Sunday, official weigh-in for the other is Monday. That sure helps to motivate me to stay on track over the weekend.

Steph ~ so sorry to hear about your cat. I know how our pets become family and it's so hard to lose them.

dangerouscurvesahead ~ snow, blech! We haven't had much snow this year, but I'm sure tired of the cold. I'm glad to see your family has joined you in your quest for health. Good for them . . . and you.

Thanks Kris regarding the visit with my Mom. We did Wow 70 that's not too bad because it was a fasting sugar. Maybe when you're hungry like that add an extra half of scoop or an extra whole scoop of protein powder. Just a thought Kris on the hula hooping, keep up the great work ... you are doing really well this month Oh my goodness, I'm sorry you are having a second TOM, I remember Diana and I doing that in 2010 and 2011. Drove me nuts.

Joy Sunday was nice here also. We took a drive so my Mom could visit with her brother (my uncle ) while she was here. Monday I didn't go out at all so I don't know what the temperature was . Sounds like you were enjoying a lovely Virginia spring day, ahhhhh Great job on the inches lost. And on the subject of all that going away (assuming he meant your belly) ... 3 years ago I could feel my ribs which I had not felt in forever so it does go down significantly with exercise ... I am living proof and I had and have a lot of belly now, LOL. I heard about no trash pick up today up there in my old neighborhood, wow ... We are supposed to get something starting tomorrow evening so they have closed the schools 3 hours early already. (smh)

Amanda I need to find an avenue of motivation (something active and productive). I so want to join a gym but now when I get off work I am pooped. I can't go in the mornings because I have to get the kids on the bus. So I don't know when I'll get to really work out.

Well as promised I'm all caught up ... I'm going to try to check in more often but I am so tired when I get in and my back is giving me fits.

Ona and Sam hope you are having a great week so far

well we go under another winter storm advisary at 1pm today! None of the other has begun to melt cuz it hasnt gotten above 30 yet! Schools r closed again today so the kids have a 5 day weekend since monday is a teacher work day.

My hopes of seeing the 20s by the end of January have been dashed by this second round of TOM. Even though it would be awesome to hit the 20s that quickly, I won't be disappointed if I don't. I'm proud of my progress so far. I even had someone that works in the same building as I do say something to me yesterday about how I look like I've lost weight. I took my measurements today and I've lost several inches since the 10th of January.

So glad it's Friday . . . I'm ready for my weekend. I wish it would warm up enough that I could clean my garage, but I don't think that's gonna happen any time soon. I'm so ready for winter to be over. Have a great day!

Steph- sorry to hear about the loss of ur furbaby, i understand completely n my prayers r with u.
Rennie- i know i can whittle my middle ive gone from 48inch waist in july 2012 to 41inches as of this week! Its the squishy belly flap n around my belly button im aiming for! My sides r getting nice n hard n the sides of my squishy gut r caving in im hoping to suck it up so to speak with my daily ab/core work, hard cardio n high fiber intake! Ugh men!
Kris- u seem to b on a nice slow n steady decline which is always an awesome feeling! Glad yall are popping in again! Life happens for sure but it really feels good to touch base n stay connected!

Ugh!!!! I think I may try a super low carb/high protein day/mostly liquid (protein shakes) and see if that moves the scale in the correct direction.
