I won't be posting tomorrow because I'm taking the day off because it's my birthday and 3 of my 3D friends are taking me out to lunch at the Olive Garden . You're all invited to wish me well anyway. I'll be back on thursday to read my birthday greetings.:D

Batzie, I mean Bagzie, I just can't see me driving a tank through 13 states and crossing the border. Do they have VCRs in them? I wondered since the list of items they're asking folks back home to send includes videos, flea powder and Cds.
Kim, it's so ironic that you say we sound fun. We are SO MEAN!! I suggest that you suck up to Sugar right away. I looked at your profile and like that you're a teacher. You can explain the entire educational system of the universe to us. |
A JOYous Birthday Wish
:hb: Happy Birthday to You! :hb:
:balloons: Happy Birthday to You :balloons: :hat: Happy Birthday Dear Wabbit :hat: :gift: Happy Birthday to You! :gift:  :cb: Hi Kim--yep, for a bunch of cowarses, we are a hoot. I'm thinking we should title the next thread Big Butted Bovines. I used to live in Charlotte, drove thru your town many a time on my way to the mountains. I seem to remember a lot of Corvette Stingrays zooming around everywhere. Is the furniture business still thriving there? Wow, I'm freaking out at the idea that the soldiers want flea powder. Ew. As if being there isn't bad enough. I tried to sign up for our family to adopt a soldier to write to and maybe send care packages to, but I haven't heard back anything yet. Of course, they'll be there long after most Americans have lost interest in them, so I'll be patient. I have 2 lamb shanks about 6" long to do something with for dinner. Package says to roast them, wouldn't they be awfully tough? Going Googling................ Kiwi |
well, I think you're asking the wrong person about the education system.. I just work there and know the game. Now, I don't always make the "I'm playing" the game choice, but oh well..
In my humble (and free) opinion... I think that the main problem is that kids have little if any respect, administrators are "yes" men, parents believe a 12 year old over teachers and teachers pretty much try to do their job without pissing anyone off because they always seem to be the bad guys. Reader's digest version of course, and now I'll hope right off this box.. I will have to say that the dyslexic joke made me giggle all day--thanks for that. :) I didn't know there were fleas in the dessert--isn't anyone safe? Happy Birthday to Wabby. What part of Charlotte did you live in, Kiwi? I used to live there before I moved in with my feller and resorted to "living in sin" as my mom puts it. Hope you all had a great day |
HAHAHAHAH 'living in sin'--that is what my DAUGHTER is going to do this fall with her bf at university----my MOTHER will have a hissy fit and I will be in the crossfire----tell me miamoooo----is your mother "lighthearted" about your "transgression" or snarky---------------------guess which MY mother will be---ha

my mother means well, but I"ll put it this way. She and my dad are coming to visit and they are getting a hotel because she doesn't approve. And hey, that's ok, but it's my house and I'm not going to make Eddie sleep somewhere else and I sure as heck ain't sleeping on the couch!
ANYWHO.. I was married so it's not like I ain't "soiled".. would rather think this one through or out... *lol* |
what part of canada do you live in?
|
I lived just off of Providence Rd., near the Foxcroft area, from the time I was 10 until college. Also lived in a couple of apartments up near Plaza Road area in my 20s, when I shipped off to the Maine woods for keeps.
When you've already been married once, I wouldn't call it "living in sin", I'd call it being cautious! Now that Bagzette chick, I don't know, some wild woman, eh? LOL Why, I never lived with a boyfriend until at least 5 minutes after I graduated from college!! Kids these days! Kiwi |
